Agriculture is a sector that has the potential to be developed because it is a buffer for food sovereignty. Therefore it is necessary to change a new paradigm in agricultural development. Agricultural management is not through a farming approach but is business-oriented. The younger generation who are familiar with digital technology is the hope in the regeneration of old farmers. To support the realization of food security, young farmers known as millennial farmers need to be educated about entrepreneurial patterns in agriculture or agripreneurship. The method of community service carried out is counseling which begins with the presentation of the material, continued with discusi, and mentoring is carried out. The target group for community service is millennial farmers in Kroya village who are members of Karang Taruna. The number of participants was 35 people. Counseling is carried out face-to-face. The result of this activity is that young farmers understand that they can develop their business even better, so that this farmer profession can become a decent livelihood for them

Abstract

An asset management role is required to analyze and optimize revenue sources and efficient systems to reduce costs. Construction service companies that tend to have fewer fixed assets than their current assets have constraints in suppressing production prices and must be able to manage them efficiently to maintain their existence in the market. The data shows the growth in the number of construction service companies which continues to increase and the construction price index which continues to decline, requiring efficient asset management to reduce production costs. For this reason, this study aims to determine the effect of Account Receivable Turnover (ARTO) asset management instruments, Fixed Asset Turnover (FATO), Inventory Turnover (IT), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on Operating Profit Margin (OPM) in construction service companies in Indonesia. The research sample is 5 large-scale construction companies in Indonesia with vulnerable observation periods from 2017 to 2021. The method used in this research is panel data regression to examine the relationship between research variables. The results of this study indicate that Fixed Asset Turnover (FATO) and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) have an effect on the Operational Profit Margin (OPM) of construction service companies in Indonesia. Meanwhile, Account Receivable Turnover (ARTO) and Inventory Turnover (IT) have no effect on OPM in Indonesian construction service companies. The results of this study have implications for construction service companies that asset management is very important for the company's progress, especially in increasing profits. This research contributes to the ability of construction service companies to manage their assets effectively, because the construction service business actor is the party responsible for implementing infrastructure development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to test seven internal factors determining capital structure using trade-off theory in the consumer cyclical sector in Indonesia. The research sample used a purposive sampling of 15 companies with 225 observations. Generalized Method of Moment analysis method for panel data. The research found that significant firm growth and size were proven. Tangible assets, non-debt tax shield, growth opportunity, and significant earning volume were not proven, and profitability was not significant. Investors can make the right decisions regarding ownership of company shares to sell or buy. In addition, potential investors can invest their funds by considering the company's high debt costs, which results in financial distress costs. The findings provide an overview for company managers in making decisions to achieve an optimal capital structure.

Abstract

Previous studies on the association between migration outflow and income inequality have shown mixed findings. Some find that migration outflow reduces income inequality, but others find that migration outflow increases income inequality. This study aims to analyze the effect of migration outflow on income inequality in Central Java Province with two control variables: mean years of schooling and minimum wage. Central Java was chosen as the research location because it is the province with the highest migration outflow. This study uses secondary, time series data for the period 2000-2018 consisting of income inequality as measured by the Gini ratio (percent), migration outflow (people), meanyears of schooling (years), and minimum wage (rupiah). Data were obtained from BPS Central Java and analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results show that migration outflow and mean years of schooling have a negative significant effect and minimum wage has a positive significant effect on income inequality. This findings imply that migration outflow and improvement of the quality of human resources through education can be solutions to reduce poverty and income inequality, while minimum wage actually increases inequality, which may be due to the large portion of population engaging in agriculture and the informal sector.

The results showed that the waste bank was an alternative solution in waste management. Financially, this business was feasible to run. It could be seen from the R/C ratio value, which was 1.41. The driving factor in the management of waste banks was public awareness of the economic value of waste. In contrast, the inhibiting factor was the lack of community participation in innovation. Stakeholders involved in waste bank management were local governments, private institutions, universities, collectors, and the community. Then the formation of a waste management model is expected to improve the community's economy. In addition, this model sought to empower the community to increase household income sustainably.

Abstract

Economic growth is an indicator of successful development achieved and can be used to determine further development policies. This study aims to analyze the effect of oil prices, imports, exports, interest rates, inflation, and the money supply on economic growth in Indonesia in 2006 to 2020. This study uses a quantitative approach with research data sourced from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and Bank Indonesia. The research method is multiple linear regression. The results show that oil prices, exports, and interest rates have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia. Meanwhile, imports, inflation and the money supply have a negative and significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia. The implication of this research is that the government must reduce dependence on imports of raw materials and food by facilitating alternative raw materials and food that can be developed independently. In addition, the government must control the amount of money in circulation according to the capacity of the community's economy

Abstract

Economic growth is still a measure of the success of policies made by the government. Indonesia, a developing country, needs the right policies to continue to encourage economic growth and rise from the crisis that has occurred. The economic crisis that occurred in 1998, 2008 and 2020 requires Indonesia to have the right fiscal and monetary policies to recover quickly. This study aims to analyze the effect of the impact of fiscal policy (taxes and government expenditure) and monetary policy (money supply, inflation, and exchange rate) on economic growth in Indonesia. The method used in this study is multiple linear regression with time series data from 1990 to 2020. The results of this study prove that tax revenue has a positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia. Meanwhile, government spending, inflation, money supply and exchange rates have a negative effect on economic growth in Indonesia. The implications of this study show that both monetary policy and fiscal policy should be made through in-depth study. The government must be able to increase tax revenue and spend state revenues on investment needs. Monetary policy must also be able to maintain low inflation and strengthen the exchange rate through trade and foreign exchange reserves.
