Abstract

Abstract: Customer satisfaction is the feeling of pleasure or disappointment incurred for comparing the performance of the products with the desire to be expected. If the performance of the product is lower as expected, then the customer will feel disappointed. It is important for a company to meet customer satisfaction. The aims of this study are to analyze the effects of customer experience and brand image on customer satisfaction withdrawing taking fast food restaurant KFC Manado Town Square as its case study. This research is causal type of research which uses primary data obtained through questionnaires and uses Multiple Regression Analysis. The population observed is people in Manado who have experienced  bought the product and experience the facilities at the KFC Manado Town Square with 100 respondents as the sample size. The result of this study shows that customer experience and brand image have significant effects on customer satisfaction. It is important to provide good experience to customer in order to meet customer expectation. Consistent food quality, service quality and atmospheric quality increase customer satisfaction. KFC also has to keep building and maintaining the value of reputation of brand name. Keywords: fast food, customer experience, brand image, customer satisfaction

Abstract

Abstract: The condition of an organization’s being effective is mainly dependent on its Human Resources Management. Performance Appraisal is important system that usually takes the form in periodic that works performance is evaluated, not only from their work responsibilities but employee behavior is evaluated too. The purpose of this study is focused on employee perception on performance appraisal and the implications at Main Branch of BNI 46 Manado. Data collected from 10 respondents at Main Branch of BNI 46 Manado that had been appraised previously. Types of data in this research used primary data and secondary data. This study method used case study (qualitative) because it is designed to get more understanding with the performance appraisal system at Main Branch of BNI 46 Manado, through employee to answer the questions that needed (depth-interview). This research found that based on employee perception the performance appraisal system that implemented at Main Branch of BNI 46 Manado, overall is good but sometimes employee feel the appraisal system not objective. The characteristics that assessed are based on each units. This research suggest to company to allow the employee to give feedback directly to supervisor, more transparent and agreement.Keywords: human resource management, employee perception, performance appraisal system

Abstract

Abstract: Marketing is one of the key factors in the success of a company’s business. This is because marketing is the activity, set of institutions and process for creating, communicating, delivering and exchanging offerings that have values for customers, clients, partners and society at large. Marketing have an important role in deciding the consumers’ attitude in buying behavior. Consumers’ attitude towards online store is different with consumers’ attitude towards traditional store. This study aims to analyze the consumers’ attitude towards online store and traditional store of Charles & Keith consumer in Manado. This research uses qualitative method with interview used to collect the data. The population in this research refers to the consumers of Charles & Keith in Manado with samples 15 of Charles & Keith consumer, which were chosen through purposive sampling. The results showed the indicators of the consumers’ attitude towards online store or traditional store that affects to their behavior to buy. It is recommended for Charles & Keith to keep improving their service in store and website or application and the quality of the products in order to keep the consumer loyalty.Keywords: marketing, consumer attitude, consumer behavior, e-commerce, traditional store

Abstract

Abstract: Millennial bad characteristics when they enter into world of work such as they do not want to work under pressure, like to shifting work, feel disappointed if opportunity of career development is not available and etc. This is become the problem of company in order to retain the millennial employee to stay work in company. This research aims to know how the company strategy to retaining the millennial employees of PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk, Branch Manado. This research used qualitative method with purposive sampling technique. The sample is uses 20 millennial employees as informant. The data collected by doing in-depth interview. The result shows that from 6 indicators of company strategies only 3 indicators that become the most influential of retaining the millennial employees of PT. BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk, Branch Manado which are work environment, career development and team  relationship. The company should maintaining these all indicators so the millennial employees feel loyal to working in the company therefore it can help to reduce the company turnover rate. Keywords: human resource, retaining millennial employees

Abstract: In the highly competitive of hospitality industry, service becomes one of the most important things for gaining sustainable competitive advantages in the marketplace. Service quality is a focused evaluation that reflects the customer?s perception of specific dimensions of service: reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy and tangibles. The objective of this research is to know the importance and performance of service quality at Gardenia Country Inn Tomohon by using an Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). The sample of this research is 50 respondents which is the customer of Gardenia Country Inn Tomohon. The key result were the importance of service quality in Gardenia Country Inn Tomohon is the services considered extremely important to the customers and the performance of Gardenia Country Inn Tomohon mostly has good performances so Gardenia Country Inn just to keep up the good work and keep maintenance their service quality to keep the customer satisfaction.   Keywords: Service Quality, Importance Performance Analysis, Hospitality Industry

Abstract

Abstract:This research is to analyzing what are the factors that drive customer loyalty of shoe laundry Quickcares Manado. Shoe Laundry is the services that offer to clean and taking care shoe, Customer Loyalty is the result of consistently positive emotional experience, physical attribute-based satisfaction and perceived value of an experience, which includes the product or services. It is important to know factors that drive customer Loyalty in business, in order to guarantee business continuity and to survive from business competition. Quantitative research seeks to quantify the data. Data was collected using questionnaire that distributed to 100 people that already used the services as respondents. The Factor Analysis method is used in this research. The analysis and discussion from this research there are 19 variables that correlated with the factor that already conducted. The findings from the factoring process there are 2 factors that drive customer loyalty of Shoe Laundry Quickcares Manado. First factor is Service Quality with 12 independent variables (Customer satisfaction, Brand Image, Tangibility, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, Reliability, Corporate Reputation, Waiting Time, Trends, Customer Experience, Trust) and the second factor is Customer Decision Making with 7 independent variables (Innovation, Price, Place, Promotion, Switching Cost, Instrumental Commitment, Rational Commitment)Keywords: shoes laundry, customer loyalty, factor analysis.

Abstract

Abstrak : Pemasaran memiliki peran penting dalam keberhasilan perusahaan, terutama dalam menghadapi persaingan, mempertahankan keunggulan, dan mengembangkan usaha untuk senantiasa mencapai laba. Diduga kinerja pemasaran dipengaruhi oleh orientasi pasar dan keunggulan bersaing yang dirasakan oleh pemilik usaha tinutuan itu sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah orientasi pasar dan keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Orientasi pasar merupakan budaya bisnis dimana organisasi mempunyai komitmen  untuk terus berkreasi dalam menciptakan nilai unggul bagi pelanggan. Keunggulan bersaing merupakan kemampuan suatu usaha untuk memberikan nilai lebih pada produknya. Kinerja Pemasaran merupakan suatu kinerja perusahaan yang diukur dari aspek pemasarannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah asosiatif. Populasi adalah pemilik / pengelola usaha tinutuan di Manado yang berlokasi di Wakeke, Ranotana dan pantai Malalayang. Pengumpulan data melalui survey dari 135 konsumen diambil sebanyak 58 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa  secara simultan orientasi pasar dan keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Secara parsial orientasi pasar berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Secara parsial keunggulan bersaing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pemasaran. Pemilik usaha tinutuan disarankan untuk lebih meningkatkan lagi orientasi pasar  agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran UMKM di Manado. Kata kunci : orientasi pasar, keunggulan bersaing, kinerja pemasaran

Abstract

Abstract: The cosmetics industry now is more global than ever and the cosmetics consumers continues to increase in popularity over time. Cosmetics has come with all kinds of variaety to suit their facial features, starts from primer with foundation, lipstick, mascara, eyeliner and eyeshadow, eyebrows pencil, etc. There are many international companies also that produce cosmetics as their main products like Maybeline, Loreal, Revlon, and there are brands from Indonesia as well like Wardah, Purbasari, Sari Ayu. Consumers usually have perceptions about the final result of their make up work. With those perceptions, they can make evaluations to better increase their future work in doing their make up work. The purpose of this research is to know the perceptions of cosmetics cosnumers towards the products that they are using, in this case the products is local products produce by Indonesian cosmetics companies. The variety of cosmetic products is good enough for them, especially since they considered that the materials are made from all natural resources that it can be good for their skin. They also stated that the price is affordable that it really helps them in fulfilling thier needs and wants..Keywords: Consumer Perception, Buying Decision

Abstract

Abstract: Woloan Wooden house is one of the important assets on the economic sector in North Sulawesi, because this product is already known to spread out of Indonesia and it has an impact in economic progress especially in developing countries including Indonesia. Globalization is a challenge for the entrepreneurs of Woloan wooden house for maintaining their business. Using the Integrated Marketing Communication, especially for the promotion it provides an opportunity for the company of Woloan wooden house to improve the marketing power. The purpose of this study is to find out the importance of IMC of Woloan wooden house and what the elements of IMC used by the entrepreneurs for marketing development of Woloan wooden house. This research was conducted in Woloan as the marketing center of wooden house. Qualitative research is deployed and uses explosive research to the wooden house in Woloan and the sample took 13 entrepreneurs of Woloan wooden house. The results of this study explained that IMC is more effective tool and make it easier for the promotion of Woloan wooden house. In addition, through IMC the promotion of the products of Woloan wooden house can be better known by the people quickly.Keywords: integrated marketing communication

Abstract

Abstract: Employee retention is an effort to retain employees in the organization. It refers to policies and practices that direct employees to survive in an organization for a longer period of time. Higher employee retention will affect the organization's performance in achieving the goals and mission of the organization. According to that, this research is analyzing the influence of Work Environment and Employee Motivation on Employee Retention in Siloam Hospital Manado. The samples of this research are 100 employees from 311 employees at Siloam Hospital and to analyse the sample in this research is using multiple regressions with the IBM SPSS Statistics.  Based on the result of hypothesis work environment and employee motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee retention. This model applies in health organization which is Siloam Hospital Manado. Siloam Hospital Manado should improve the work environment and increase the employee motivation so the organization can retain the loyal employee. Siloam Hospital Manado should pay more attention to employee retention because the higher employee retention will affect the organization’s performance in achieving the goals and mission of the organization. Keywords: work environment, employee motivation, employee retention
