Abstract

Abstract: The lack of resources for a character will affect someone in association or in a performance. Therefore, in a strong mental strive for the development of a person. Because when someone does have a strong character things like that will be appreciated by the leadership in it. It can solidify the progress of a person’s performance that will affect the company. So it can generate quality employees instead of the usual course. Needs quality employees is very important in the company. Because of where the company will use all means the maintain of a qualified employees who can dedicates their loyalties to the company. The existence of reciprocity, either from the company or the employee. Improved performance of employees will bring progress for the company to be able to survive in an unstable competitive business environment. Therefore, efforts to improve the performance of employees is the most serious management challenges because of the success to achieve the goals and the survival of the company depends on the quality of performance of human resources in it. Keywords: Extrinsic Reward, Leadership style, and Employee Performance.

Abstract

Abstract: Aqua is a company which has released some green advertising and have green claim on its packaging. This study aims to find out the influence of green advertising and green claim toward green trust with misleading environmental claim as intervening variable of bottled water product Aqua. The amount of respondents are 100 people, and the respondents are the students from Faculty of Economics and Business Sam Ratulangi University who are consumers of Aqua product and ever seen Aqua advertisements before. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling with path analysis method. The result shows that (1) green advertising and green claim have negative significant influence toward misleading environmental claim of Aqua product, (2) green advertising and green claim have positive significant influence toward green trust of Aqua product, (3) misleading environmental claim has significant influence as intervening of green advertising variable toward green trust of Aqua product, (4) misleading environmental claim has no significant influence as intervening of green advertising variable toward green trust of Aqua product. This study suggests that Aqua should develop the content of its green advertising, put some clear information about the green claims and prevent the issue of greenwashing.Keywords: green advertising, green claim, misleading environmental claim, green trust

Abstract

Employees are important assets to reach organizational goals and employee job satisfaction is very important. To attain job satisfaction, employee must be motivated in doing their jobs first. Lack of motivation can also lead to high job turnover in the company and will increase the cost of training and hiring new employees. Besides motivation, job satisfaction of employees is also influenced by compensation. The objective of this research is to know the significant effect of motivation and compensation on job satisfaction simultaneously, partially. This research uses quantitative method and the Multiple Regression Analysis. The population observed is the employees of PT. SIG Asia with 30 respondents as the sample size and simple random as sampling method was used. The result of this research is there is significant effect of motivation and compensation on job satisfaction partially and simultaneously. The management of this company is expected to keep paying attention to motivation and compensation that could encourage employees to increase their performance. Abstract

Abstract: The image of the university is described as an overall impression made in the minds of the public about an organization. Can also define that the university is the result of character and identity of all aspects contained in the university that can be assessed by the community. A positive of university image is one of the absolute things that needs to be built in a company. Image is needed to change the way consumers perceive a company. The image of higher education can be built by providing an overview of what is experienced and felt after using the company's products / services.The aim of this study is to know the difference of university image between male students and female students based on satisfaction, quality, and reputation. This research is a quantitative research and uses independent sample t-test. The sample size of this research is 110 Students of Manado Sam Ratulangi University  (55 males and 55 female). The results showed that there is no significant difference of university image between male students and female students based on satisfaction, quality and reputation. Sam Ratulangi University Manado must improve all aspects of quality so that students feel satisfied. So that it can support the reputation of Sam Ratulagi University itself. Keywords: university, image, satisfaction, quality, reputation

Abstract

The existence of this Triple Play Services or Telkom’s Fiber To The Home (FTTH) service which known by the trademark IndiHome has successfully attracted the public interest to use IndiHome, especially in Manado City. The way the customer uses this product will have an impact on interest in purchasing the IndiHome. This research is aimed to analyze the influence of customer perception of value, price and quality on customer purchase intention of using IndiHome. The data obtained from the sample of 110 respondents of IndiHome users in Manado City were analyzed with quantitative analysis by using questionnaires and Multiple Regression Analysis. The sample technique is Random Sampling, in order to get results quickly and efficiently obtain the information needed in this research. Result and conclusion show perceived value, perceived price and perceived quality have positive and significant influence on customer purchase intention simultaneously and partially. To marketing company, researcher to keep enhancing and maintain the product’s quality and value, also should be more consider about the price management. Abstract

Lifestyle behaviour also the activity of people that has been doing repeatedly by the people and it can be changing depend to the lifestyle and sometimes it may become people’s habit. It also can affect by the social activity or by the environment that affect the people. The aim of this study is to analyze how is lifestyle behaviour of movie theater consumer as college student and what are the factors that effect lifestyle behaviour and the objectives is to know how is the lifestyle behaviour on movie theater consumer and what factors that effect lifestyle behaviour. In order to achieve these objectives the researcher got information from 15 informants using qualitative study which is in-depth interview and uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results showed that Lifestyle Behaviours on Movie Theater Consumer of University student is a Lifestyle that very common, very interesting, modern, and positive, this kind of lifestyle of watching movies in Cinema has come naturally, and the university students that part with this research are very happy with the existence of the movie theater or the Cinema, through the development tehnology in this era, it leads people especially university student to come to Cinema for watching movie, The recomendation For the Cinema, it is more better to keep improving the service and always provide a good movie that could educate all the univesrsity students. Keywords: lifestyle behaviour, movie theater consumers

Abstract

Abstract: Human resources is an important asset for a company or organization, with the existence of employees it helps to achieving the vision and mission. Employee competencies can be seen from KSA, such as knowledge, skill and abilities and each employees have differences one to another it is also happen for knowledge, skill and ability of the employees. Employees of the company are lack in understanding the work, difficult to adjusts the work due the educational background is not related with the work, not able to interact well with each other related with the work, can't determine how to complete a task properly, unable to take the initiative to do the work and unable to work under pressure. This research is aims to find the influence of employee knowledge, skill and ability to team performance at PT. Equityworld Futures Manado. Causal analysis type and used random sampling technique with 73 respondents. This research used multiple linear regression to test the data. The results shows variables of knowledge, skill and ability has influence to team performance at PT. Equityworld Futures Manado. The company have to improve the human resource department, the company have to focus more in recruiting new employees in order to find competent employees. Keywords: knowledge, skill, ability, team performance

Abstract

Abstract : Transportation is the most necessary things in fast-paced era for supporting people’s daily activities. Batik Air as full service airlines should be focus on the quality of service. The aim of this study is to evaluate the importance and performance of Batik Air in-flight service. The variable used in this research are ambience of cabin, in-flight meal service, in-flight entertainment service and cabin crew service. The population of this research is all the customer of Batik Air in Manado and the sample of this research is 100 customer of  Batik Air in Manado who have ever experience its in-flight service. The analysis method that used in this research is Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA). Based on the result of IPA, tasty food, top quality ingredients, calm ambience inside cabin are plotted in quadrant I. Hygienics food, aromatic inside cabin, air temperature, flight attendant look attractive, flight attendant is patient and understanding, flight attendant provide information correctly, the polite behavior of flight attendant, friendly service from flight attendant are plotted in quadrant II, well read magazine, reasonable portion, interesting food appearance, interesting decoration, TV screen attract passenger, nice music to hear, various TV programs are plotted in quadrant III. TV facilities not difficult to use and lighting are plotted in quadrant IV. Keywords: Airline industry, Batik Air, In-flight Service, Importance and Performance Analysis.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan dan persaingan di bidang jasa, menuntut adanya keunikan tersendiri di banding pesaing sejenis untuk memikat konsumen dan menguasai pasar. Hal ini membuat Salon Headquarters yang bergerak dibidang jasa perawatan kecantikan dan tata rias dituntut untuk menawarkan pelayanan yang terbaik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh citra merek, kualitas layanan, dan lokasi baik secara simultan dan parsial terhadap keputusan konsumen. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah asosiatif. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 97 orang berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan rumus Slovin, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada responden. Alat analisis yang digunakan Regresi Liniear Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan secara simultan citra merek, kualitas layanan, dan lokasi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen. Secara parsial citra merek dan kualitas layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen, sedangkan lokasi secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen. Sebaiknya pihak manajemen Headquarters memperhatikan faktor citra merek dan kualitas layanan, karena miliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen menggunakan jasa salon Headquarters. Kata kunci: citra merek, kualitas layanan, lokasi, keputusan konsumen

Abstract

Cupcakes are an option that consumers are able to offer delights cupcakes, flavors that suit the tastes of consumers, and use quality ingredients. This is done so that all of the products offered will be a place both in the eyes of the public as consumers or potential consumers, because in choosing products is based on buying the interest that will affect the type, the taste of the product that is bought. Therefore, the pastries entrepreneur/ company are required to continue to make improvements, especially on the quality of its products. This research aim of the influence of perceived price and perceived quality on consumer purchase intention partially and simultaneously. This research used quantitative method. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression analysis. The data used in this research is primary data obtain through the questionnaire. The population of this reseacrh is the consumer of SHMILY Cupcakes in Manado. The samples taken are 100 respondents. This research concludes findings there is a significant effect of perceived price and perceived quality on consumer purchase intention simultaneously. But partially the effect of perceived quality on consumer purchase intention is more significant than the effect of perceived price on consumer purchase intention. The owner of SHMILY cupcakes store should more consider of quality than price since there is a significant effect of quality on purchase intention.   Keywords: perceive price, perceive quality, consumer purchase intention.
