Abstract

Salah satu bahan pangan yang banyak dikonsumsi di Indonesia ialah ikan. Ikan mengandung kandungan protein yang tinggi dan memiliki kandungan lemak di bawah 5% sehingga lebih sehat untuk dikonsumsi dibandingkan ayam. Salah satu jenis ikan yang berpotensi dibudidayakan adalah ikan lele (Clarias sp) karena mudah untuk dibudidayakan dan dapat tumbuh dalam waktu yang relatif cepat. Permasalahan yang timbul saat pembudidayaan ikan lele adalah turunnya kualitas air kolam karena adanya pencemaran yang berasal dari kotoran lele dan sisa pakan.Upaya pengelolaan limbah dapat dilakukan melalui fitoremediasi. Pada penelitian ini digunakan tumbuhan air yang sering dianggap sebagai gulma tetapi diketahui memiliki kemampuan fitoremediasi yakni enceng gondok (Eichhornia crassipes), kangkung (Ipomea aquatica), dan apu-apu (Pistia stratiotes). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa ketiga tumbuhan air tersebut mampu menjaga kualitas air kolam dan meningkatkan sintasan ikan lele. Abstract

Hepatitis B is a type of disease caused by infection with the hepatitis virus (HBV). HBV is a virus in the Hepadnaviridae family. This viral infection can cause clumping of liver cells, such as cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma which if left untreated can lead to death. HBV itself has a non-structural protein polymerase that plays an important role in its life cycle. This in silico method is economical and effective for the discovery of new drugs by utilizing computer capabilities. In this study, the design of an epitope B-based vaccine from the HBV polymerase will be carried out. Hepatitis B polymerase sequences were obtained from the NCBI database site and then tested for antigenicity with the Vaxijen server. The results of the hepatitis B protein sequence antigenity test have a protective antigen value of 0.5783 so it is possible to use it as a vaccine candidate.

Abstract

In silico test is a term used for experiments or tests carried out using computer simulation methods. HCV is a flavivirus. The hepatitis C genome is a 9.6 kb single-stranded RNA molecule that serves as a template for translation and replication. In this study, the HVC 3H5S protein sequence was searched with NCBI and B cell epitope prediction using the BepiPred method. After all the steps have been carried out, the results of the observations are obtained. The first is in the HVC 3H5S protein sequence search stage, the threshold value and overall prediction for the Protecting Antigen are obtained, the threshold value is 0.4 and the overall prediction for the Protecting Antigen is 0.4816 (probable antigen). And based on the prediction results of B cell epitopes, data related to the sequence name, initial position, final position, and score of the epitope were obtained. The protein sequence obtained from the data consists of a sequence of letters, each letter is the code of an amino acid. All protein sequences are made in FASTA format to make it easier to use in software or servers. The prediction results of B cell epitopes using the BepiPred server produce several epitope sequences that are equipped with their binding specificity scores. The predicted results of the B cell epitopes obtained display the positions of the epitopes that describe the level of recognition of the B cell epitopes or binding with antibodies so that in determining the vaccine sequence later, the predicted epitopes are selected based on their level of accessibility.

Abstract

Glutinous tapai has a sweet and slightly sour taste and a distinctive taste because it contains alcohol, besides that the texture will be softer. Traditionally it takes 3-4 days to make white sticky rice tapai so that the tapai is sweet and soft. In the process of fermenting sticky rice will produce alcohol and CO2 (Carbon dioxide). White glutinous rice contains the most carbohydrates (79.40 g per 100 g of material) when compared to carbohydrates in cassava (34.7 g per 100 g of material. The greater the amount of glucose contained in an ingredient, the higher the amount of ethanol produced from the breakdown of glucose by the high amount of yeast (Saccharomyces cereviceae) in the tape that is made. . According to the results tapai has a slightly sweet taste with a slight alcoholic taste and a distinctive fragrant aroma. The texture is soft and watery and produces liquid which is the effect of the effect fermentation. Because the sweet taste of tapai is influenced by the sugar content of the tapai itself. The changes that occur are generally in accordance with the existing theory, the results of tapai are not optimal because the tapai still has a rather hard texture and does not have much water and taste which is not too sweet. This is because the fermentation time is short, which is only 3 days, and "the 3rd day of fermentation obtained low microorganism growth and the highest growth and height of microorganisms was the 9 day fermentation time"..

Abstract

In Indonesia in 2019 a case of H1N1 infection was reported in North Sumatra. This virus is a single stranded-ribonucleid acid (ss-RNA) virus with a diameter of 80-120 nm and a length of 200-300 nm, has an envelope with a lipid bilayer and is surrounded by about 500 glycoprotein spikes that have hemagglutination (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) enzymes. ). Neuraminidase is an enzyme whose job is to carry out atixialolytic enzyme activity, releasing viral progeny trapped on the surface of infected cells when they are released and facilitating the movement of the virus in the mucous membrane of the target epithelial tissue. attachment of viruses to targets of interest to antiviral drugs. The in-silico method is one of the research studies in a computational-based biology. This method of analysis is used to identify a chemical property in a chemical compound. In the extraction of neuraminidase H1N1 protein sequences (swine virus) from NCBI, there were 469 AA proteins obtained in-silico. The antigenity test using a web vaccine on the NA protein of the H1N1 virus, with a holding value of 0.4 which is the final result of protein residues, indicates that the overall probability is estimated to be antigen with 0.4982.

Abstract

Background. The world of education is inseparable from various learning components. The utilization of technology cannot be separated from the world of education. One of them is the use of Quiz Kreator for student achievement assessment in elementary schools. Quiz Kreator is one of the online applications used to create quizzes, including multiple choice quizzes and true false quizzes. Purpose. This study aims to determine how student achievement in elementary schools after using the Quiz Kreator application in the learning process. Method. The researcher used quantitative research methods, namely by distributing questionnaires to elementary school students. The questionnaire was distributed online. Results. The results showed that the use of Quiz Kreator in assessing student achievement in elementary schools has a positive impact on students. The use of Quiz Kreator as an assessment tool that is well designed and relevant to the material being taught, can improve student achievement. Quiz Kreator can provide assessment results automatically and accurately. This can also help teachers in assessing student achievement more objectively. Conclusion. the use of Quiz Kreator in assessing student achievement in elementary schools can be utilized well. The use of this Quiz Kreator application can improve student achievement in the learning process.

Abstract

The availability of clean water that meets quality standards is one of the main challenges in Balukon Village, where most people need to understand the importance of knowing the parameters of clean water quality. Socialization regarding water quality parameters is carried out to increase community literacy regarding this aspect. The method used involves direct explanations based on community participation through the delivery of materials that are relevant to everyday life. The results of the activity showed that there was community understanding of water quality parameters, such as pH, turbidity levels, and microbial content. Interactive discussions and simple but contextual delivery were the main factors in the success of this program. In conclusion, socialization based on direct education is effective in increasing clean water literacy at the community level. This program can be a model for implementation in other areas with similar conditions.

Abstract

Antioxidant, n-hexane, Sawang Hijau, LCMS Sawang hijau (Cordyline fruticosa (L.) A. Chev) merupakan jenis tanaman hias yang banyak digunakan sebagai obat tradisional dan ritual ibadah umat Kaharingan suku Dayak di Kalimantan. Tanaman Sawang hijau diketahui mengandung berbagai macam senyawa antioksidan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui senyawa metabolit sekunder dalam ekstrak daun sawang hijau yang dimaserasi menggunakan pelarut n-heksana dan aktivitas antioksidan dari ekstrak tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis senyawa metabolit sekunder dengan LCMS dan uji aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode peredaman radikal bebas DPPH, yang dibandingkan dengan vitamin C dan diukur dengan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak sawang hijau menghasilkan 0,0125% rendemen senyawa kimia dan diduga mengandung senyawa golongan steroid, flavonoid, dan alkaloid. Aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak daun sawang hijau sebesar 181,25 ppm yang berarti memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang tergolong lemah, sementara vitamin C sebesar 24,99 ppm, yang berarti memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang tergolong kuat. Daun sawang hijau yang diekstrak dengan pelarut n-heksana pada penelitian ini diduga dapat menarik senyawa metabolit sekunder berupa senyawa golongan flavonoid.

Abstract

Serambut Village, Pulau Hanaut District, East Kotawaringin has local resource-based economic potential, one of which is the coconut oil business unit managed by BUMDesa Sehati Serambut. Although it has potential products, the marketing strategy implemented has not utilized digital channels optimally. The use of digital channels is very necessary to expand market reach and strengthen the competitiveness of BUMDesa products in the digital era. This community service activity was carried out as a response to these needs with the main objective of increasing the knowledge and basic skills of BUMDesa employees in utilizing social media and e-commerce platforms as marketing tools. This activity was carried out in the form of interactive socialization and open discussions that emphasized understanding the concept of digital marketing based on the 4P theory (Product, Price, Place, Promotion). The activity methodology involved delivering materials and participatory dialogue between speakers and participants. Initial results showed high enthusiasm from participants and increased awareness of the importance of digital transformation in marketing. This socialization is targeted to produce outputs in the form of increased digital marketing literacy among BUMDesa actors, as well as being a basis for further mentoring activities. By delivering the material appropriately and contextually, this activity is expected to have a long-term impact in increasing the institutional capacity of BUMDesa and the competitiveness of local digital-based products.

Abstract

Zircon sand mining in Indonesia generates magnetic waste rich in magnetite (Fe₃O₄), which has semiconductor properties, making it an effective catalyst for degrading organic pollutants. This study explores the synthesis and application of Fe₃O₄ derived from zircon mining waste as a photo-Fenton catalyst for humic acid (HA) degradation in peat water. The Fe₃O₄ catalyst was synthesized using a co-precipitation method, confirmed by FTIR and XRD analyses. FTIR identified Fe–O bonds at 537 cm-1 and 419 cm-1, while XRD showed a spinel crystal structure with peaks at 2θ angles of 30.14°, 35.51°, 43.19°, and 56.96°. The catalytic activity was tested under UV light with varying H₂O₂ volumes and Fe₃O₄ masses. The optimized condition, using 0.03 g Fe₃O₄ and 1 mL H₂O₂, achieved a maximum HA degradation efficiency of 87.06% in 100 minutes. Kinetic analysis revealed second-order kinetics, with a rate constant (k) of 8.29 × 10-4 M-1.min-1 and R² = 0.9911, showing a strong correlation. The high efficiency is attributed to Fe₃O₄'s semiconductor properties, which facilitate hydroxyl radical formation and enhance electron transfer. These findings demonstrate the potential of Fe₃O₄ from zircon mining waste as a sustainable catalyst for environmental applications, particularly in treating organic pollutants in peat water.
