Abstract

This study aims to determine how far adaptive physical education is implemented in inclusive schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study model. Collecting data using techniques The interview used is the unstructured interview and observation. The subjects of this study were school principals, adaptive physical education teachers and special mentor teachers (GPK), and children with special needs students. Data analysis used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that the formulation of learning objectives was clear but not by conditions such as challenges in planning and implementing adaptive physical education programs, such as limited infrastructure and lack of teacher knowledge in accommodating the needs of students with special needs. This study suggests the need to improve the quality of syllabus programs and lesson plans to meet the needs of students with special needs and for teachers to receive special training in adaptive physical education. This study also recommends providing adequate infrastructure and facilities and promoting inclusive education.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) the effect of interval training on the endurance improvement of futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta; (2) the effect of fartlek training on the endurance improvement of futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta; and (3) the more effective training method between interval training and fartlek training in enhancing the endurance of futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta. This research is a quantitative experimental study. The sample consisted of 20 futsal players from SMA ABBS Surakarta. The research method used was an experimental approach with a two-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted over 18 sessions with a training frequency of three times per week. The treatments applied were interval training and fartlek training. The research instrument used was the Bleep Test. Data analysis included prerequisite tests (normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk test) and hypothesis testing using the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of data analysis showed that: (1) there was a significant improvement in endurance among futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta after undergoing interval training, as evidenced by a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) there was a significant improvement in endurance among futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta after undergoing fartlek training, also evidenced by a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05; and (3) both interval and fartlek training methods were equally effective in improving the endurance of futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta, as indicated by a non-significant difference with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.622 > 0.05. The improvement can also be seen from the percentage increase in endurance performance. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that: (1) Interval training has a significant effect on improving the endurance of futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta; 2) Fartlek training has a significant effect on improving the endurance of futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta; (3) Both interval and fartlek training methods are equally effective in enhancing the endurance of futsal players at SMA ABBS Surakarta, as no significant difference was found between the two training methods.

Abstract

Background: Athletes with disabilities still have limited access to digital anti-doping education, reflecting low digital readiness and unequal access to critical information. This gap increases the risk of unintentional doping, highlighting the urgency of improving digital anti-doping education for this population. Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the usability of the Haloatlet 1.0 monitoring media, which has been developed as part of an effort to prevent doping use among athletes with disabilities, utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with an iterative model. The research focuses on the usability testing phase of the developed media product. Materials and methods: Data collection involved a sample of 30 athletes selected from 7 different sports. A Likert-scale System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. The Curved Grading Scale (CGS) was used as a reference to represent the level of usability of Haloatlet 1.0. Results: The usability evaluation of the Haloatlet 1.0 doping prevention monitoring website yielded a SUS score of 81.17 ± 10.74, corresponding to Grade A and falling within the Excellent usability category (top 90–95 percentile). Conclusions: These findings demonstrate that the Haloatlet 1.0 website successfully provides a high level of usability in supporting athletes with physical disabilities in accessing anti-doping information and prevention resources. Effective anti-doping initiatives require continuous collaboration among key stakeholders to ensure clean and fair sports environments. Therefore, the results of this study offer valuable insights for enhancing inclusive and accessible digital anti-doping education policies, particularly for athletes with disabilities who often experience limited access to conventional learning platforms.
