Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of consumer liking or acceptance of a product, it absolutely requires a test called the organoleptic test and hedonic test This research was conducted in quantitative analysis In the implementation of this study, the experiment conducted was an experiment consisting of 4 treatments, Each treatment was carried out as many as 3 replicates so that 12 experimental units were obtained The treatments used were po (control) = regular sauce 100% Traditional chilli sauce packaging, p1 = 50% papaya sauce and 50% carrot sauce 500 grams of papaya + 500 grams of carrots, p2 papaya sauce (pure) 100% 1 kg papaya, p3 = carrot sauce (pure) 100% 1 kg organoleptic research results The highest colour was p1 4.3, aroma p3 3.9, taste p1 3.95, and texture p14. 25. As for hedonics, the highest was for colour p1 4.75, aroma p3 4.55, taste p1 4.25 and texture p3 4.5. Organoleptic tests involving colour, aroma, taste and texture showed values for colour in sample 1 with an average value of 4.3, aroma in sample 3 with an average value of 3.9, taste in sample 1 with an average value of 3.95 while texture in sample 1 with an average value of 4.25. The results of the hedonic test assessed consumer preference for sauces in samples 1 and 3 for sample I with an average value of 4.75 and a taste of 4.25 in the like category. While in sample 3 consumer assessment of aroma average value 4.55 and texture 4.5 category.

Abstract

This study aims to identify bird species and analyze the diversity, species richness, evenness, and dominance of birds in the Jaboi area, Sukajaya District, Sabang City. The method used was direct survey through visual observation and recording of birds found across various habitat types during the study period. The results revealed 21 bird species from 13 families with a total of 128 individuals. The house sparrow (Passer domesticus) was the most abundant species with 30 individuals, while some species such as the white-bellied sea eagle (Haliaeetus leucoryphus), spotted dove (Spilopelia chinensis), and emerald dove (Chalcophaps indica) were each represented by only one individual. The family Columbidae dominated the bird population with 19%. The Shannon diversity index (Ĥ) was 2.405, indicating moderate diversity, while the species richness index was 3.916, reflecting a moderate level of richness. The evenness index (E) was 0.803, suggesting a fairly even distribution of individuals across species, categorized as moderate to high. Additionally, the dominance index was 0.401, indicating that no single species dominated the bird community in the area. In conclusion, the Jaboi area in Sukajaya District, Sabang City, exhibits moderate bird diversity and richness with a relatively even distribution of individuals, and no species dominance, reflecting a balanced and stable community structure.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran di MTsN 2 Banda Aceh masih jarang digunakan, terutama materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Akibatnya, siswa kurang semangat dan tidak fokus saat belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain media interaktif berbasis articulate storyline serta untuk menganalisis hasil validasi media dan materi. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan Allesi dan Trollip. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 2 ahli media dan 2 ahli materi. Objek penelitian adalah uji kelayakan media dan materi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan validasi. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi, wawancara serta lembar uji kelayakan media dan materi. Analisis data kelayakan menggunakan rumus persentasi. Hasil kelayakan media memperoleh hasil sebesar 80% dengan kategori layak, hasil kelayakan materi memperoleh hasil sebesar 93,75% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji kelayakan keseluruhan memperolah hasil 86,87 dengan kategori sangat layak. Media ini potensial untuk membantu pembelajaran klasifikasi makhluk hidup yang abstrak, mempermudah pemahaman materi, dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci:  Articulate Storyline, Klasifikasi Makhkuk Hidup, Uji Kelayakan

Abstract

The strategy for controlling dengue vector through periodic monitoring is an effective mitigation effort. Periodic monitoring of dengue vectors is generally more often conducted in the larval stage rather than the egg stage. Monitoring Aedes eggs periodically using ovitraps is more effective because it is not restricted by season. The objective of this study is to conduct spatial mapping of Aedes spp. distribution using ovitraps in Baitussalam Subdistrict, Aceh Besar. This study used observational methods and purposive sampling to determine the sample houses for ovitrap placement. A total of 50 houses in 5 gampong/village were observed. Analysis was conducted using the GPS Essentials application and Google Earth Pro software. The results showed that there were 4 gampong with Aedes spp. egg distribution in Baitussalam Subdistrict, Aceh Besar, namely Gampong Blang Krueng, Gampong Baet, Gampong Kajhu, and Gampong Cadek, while in Gampong Lam Ujong, no ovitraps positive for Aedes eggs. Ovitraps are an effective method for mapping Aedes spp. in efforts to control dengue. Keyword: Aedes spp; Dengue fever; ovitrap; spatial mapping.

Abstract

Tumbuhan mempunyai berbagai khasiat obat salah satunya adalah sebagai penawar racun gigitan atau sengatan hewan dari filum Arthropoda seperti kalajengking, lipan, tungau, kutu busuk, nyamuk, lebah, tawon dan lain-lain. Masyarakat Desa Paya Dua Kabupaten Aceh Barat masih memanfaatkan tanaman pekarangan untuk  menanggulangi masalah tersebut. Tradisi penggunaan obat tradisional untuk penawar racun di Desa Paya Dua diturunkan dari satu generasi ke generasi berikutnya dan telah berlangsung dalam kurun waktu yang lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spesies tanaman, bagian tanaman yang digunakan dan cara pengolahan tanaman obat penawar racun terhadap serangan filum Arthropoda di pekarangan rumah battra Desa Paya Dua Aceh Barat. Penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanaman obat penawar racun di pekarangan rumah battra Desa Paya Dua terdapat 5 spesies, bagian tanaman yang digunakan untuk mengobati dampak gigitan/sengatan, alergi atau peradangan akibat serangan filum Arthropoda yaitu bagian getah dan biji tanaman. Cara pengolahan tanaman obat penawar racun filum Arthropoda yaitu dengan cara ditetes, digosok dan dioleskan secara langsung. Tanaman pekarangan rumah battra di Desa Paya Dua Kabupaten Aceh Barat mempunyai potensi sebagai obat penawar racun filum Arthropoda.

Abstract

Plant growth and development materials contain abstract concepts that require in-depth understanding. This study aims to examine the improvement of research parameters using a cooperative model on plant growth and development material. The research method used literature study with secondary data from research articles. Data were presented in tabular form and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that learning models such as discovery learning, problem-based learning, guided inquiry, and cooperative method of Two Stay-Two Stray (Ts-Ts) type were used in plant growth and development material. The application of cooperative models can improve students' activities, learning outcomes, and interest in the material of plant growth and development.Key words: Learning activity, learning outcomes, plant growth and development material, learning models.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran IPA di SMPN 1 Seulimeum Aceh Besar masih kurang bervariasi dalam penggunaan media khususnya pada materi interaksi antar makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis respon peserta didik terhadap E-LKPD berbasis literasi sains pada materi interaksi antar makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui angket respon peserta didik. Teknik analisis data respon peserta didik menggunakan statistic deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respon peserta didik diperoleh nilai sebesar 86,41% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis literasi sains mendapat respon positif peserta didik untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran pada materi interaksi antar makhluk hidup.

Abstract

Learning outcomes reflect the evaluative results of learning activities, which indicate that the learning process is effective if accompanied by changes in behaviour, competence, and mastery of student information. Factors influencing learning success include individual capacity, motivation, and environment. Seventh-grade students of MTsN 2 Banda Aceh have poor academic achievement, especially in classifying living things. This study aims to analyse student learning outcomes using the PBL learning model with audiovisual materials to classify living things. The research methodology is a pre-experimental quantitative descriptive method. The teacher has not used various models or media in the learning process to catch up; students only receive information from the teacher without trying to learn independently. The research design is a single-group pretest-posttest. Data were evaluated using the gain normality test, the N-gain formula, and t-test analysis. Statistics show that the average pretest score is 37 and the average posttest score is 83. The high group has an increase in student learning outcomes of 0.72. The t-test analysis showed that the pretest and posttest scores were statistically significantly different, with tcount smaller than ttable (tcount = -24.697 < ttable = 2.030). Using the PBL learning model combined with audiovisual media resources has been proven to improve student learning outcomes at MTsN 2 Banda Aceh significantly.

Abstract

Keanekaragaman burung frugivora di kawasan Jaboi, Kecamatan Sukajaya, Kota Sabang, belum terdokumentasi secara spesifik, meskipun kawasan ini memiliki variasi habitat yang berpotensi mendukung keberadaan burung pemakan buah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur komunitas, komposisi spesies, dan tingkat keanekaragaman burung frugivora di kawasan tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Oktober 2025 dengan menggunakan kombinasi metode titik hitung (point count) dan garis transek (line transect). Pengambilan data dilakukan pada enam titik pengamatan yang mewakili tiga tipe habitat, yaitu hutan, pemukiman, dan pesisir. Setiap titik diamati selama 20 menit dengan radius pengamatan sekitar 500 m. Identifikasi burung dilakukan secara langsung di lapangan berdasarkan ciri morfologi dan suara, didukung dokumentasi foto, serta diverifikasi menggunakan buku Burung-burung di Sumatera, Jawa, Bali dan Kalimantan. Data dianalisis menggunakan Indeks Keanekaragaman Shannon–Wiener (H'). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ditemukan 10 spesies burung frugivora dari 6 famili dengan total 87 individu. Famili Sturnidae dan Pycnonotidae merupakan famili dominan dengan persentase masing-masing 30%. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman (H' = 1,9225) tergolong sedang, menunjukkan heterogenitas habitat dan dominasi spesies generalis yang mampu beradaptasi terhadap lingkungan semi-urban dan pesisir. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa kawasan Jaboi masih mendukung keberadaan burung frugivora dan berpotensi menjadi indikator stabilitas ekosistem setempat.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam bidang pendidikan menunjukkan perkembangan yang signifikan dan mulai diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran biologi di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan AI terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional yang dipublikasikan pada rentang tahun 2023–2025. Sumber data diperoleh melalui database Google Scholar, ResearchGate, dan Garuda, kemudian diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang telah ditetapkan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan AI dalam pembelajaran biologi umumnya menggunakan platform digital seperti ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, PlantNet Identifier, dan video generator berbasis AI. Materi biologi yang paling banyak mengintegrasikan AI meliputi sistem ekskresi, sistem pencernaan, keanekaragaman hayati, ekosistem, dan genetika. Penggunaan AI terbukti mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar, motivasi, respons siswa, serta keterampilan berpikir kritis, argumentasi, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Namun demikian, terdapat potensi dampak negatif berupa ketergantungan berlebihan terhadap AI dan risiko plagiarisme akademik. Penerapan AI dalam pembelajaran biologi memberikan peluang strategis untuk meningkatkan efektivitas, kreativitas, dan kualitas pendidikan di era digital.
