One solution to this problem is to implement activities using the Make a match method, this study aims to improve the learning outcomes of children in Grade IV SDN 04 Manggilang. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. This classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle had 2 meetings. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The results of this study show an increase in children's grades from pre- action, cycle I and cycle II which can be clearly described as follows: BB grades in pre-action were 10 children or 70%, then in cycle 1 it became 6 children or 40%, then in cycle II it became 1 child or 10%. Based on the results of the study above, the researcher suggests that teachers use the Make a Match method as an alternative activity in improving children's learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low fine motor skills of V Class Elementary School at UPTD SD N 01 Solok Bio-Bio in Solok Bio-Bio Village. One solution to address this issue is to implement pipette folding activities. This study aims to improve fine reading of Al-Quran at V Class UPTD SD N 01 Solok Bio-Bio in Solok Bio-Bio Village. The research method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, with two meetings in each cycle. Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. The results of this research show animprovement in children's scores from the pre-action phase, Cycle I, to Cycle II, which can be described as follows: In the pre-action phase, 11 children or 55% had low scores (BB), then in Cycle 1, this decreased to 2 children or 10%, and in Cycle II, it became 0 children or 0%. The moderate score (MB) in the pre-action phase was 2 children or 10%, then in Cycle 1, it became 2 children or 10%, and in Cycle II, it became 0 children or 0%. The high score (BSH) in the pre- action phase was 2 child or 10%, then in Cycle 1, it became 2 children or 10%, and at 2 children or 10% in Cycle II. The very high score (BSB) in the pre-action phase was 5 child or 25%, then in Cycle 1, it became 5 children or 25%, and in the end, in Cycle II, it increased to 17 children or 85%. Based on the above research results, the researcher recommends that teachers consider implementing Cart Sort activities as an alternative method to enhance children's fine reading Al-Quran.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the results of integrated thematic learning using the Problem based Learning model. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Conducted in two cycles, namely the first cycle of 2x meetings, and the second cycle of the 1x meeting. The subjects of the study were 24 students of fifth grade SDN 10 Sapiran Bukittinggi. The research data was obtained from the results of observations and sources of data obtained during learning. The results showed an increase. This can be seen from the average results in the first cycle of meetings 1 and 2, which obtained a class average of 74.46 (K) and the second cycle obtained a class average of 83.12 (B). It was concluded that using the PBL model was able to improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class V. Keywords:

Abstract

Landslide is one of the hazards that threatens and has the potential to cause material losses and even fatalities. In 2021, one-third of the disasters in Indonesia are landslides. Landslides are caused by physical factors and human activities. Vulnerability measurement is needed to calculate disaster risk. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) plays a significant role in disaster management because it can provide a spatial and mathematical picture. This study aims to assess the level of vulnerability of society in the social sector to the threat of landslides in Kecamatan Girimulyo, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province, which is analyzed spatially. The measurement of social vulnerability follows the guidelines issued by the National Disaster Management Agency using parameters of population density and vulnerable groups. The study area covers four subdistricts, namely Purwosari, Pendowoharjo, Jatimulyo, and Giripurwo. Kecamatan Girimulyo is located in an area dominated by hills and mountains, reaching an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. Data were obtained from the Girimulyo sub-district statistics center and the Geospatial Information Agency. Scoring and weighting methods are used to assess each parameter in order to obtain an index of social vulnerability to landslide threats. The results of the calculation of the population density parameter in Kecamatan Girimulyo show two classes, low and middle. The sex ratio measurement shows that the study area is included in the low class, the vulnerability dependency ratio is included in the middle class, and the classification of the disability ratio is included in the low class. The similarity of the study areas for each parameter indicates that the characteristics of the population are relatively the same or homogeneous. The social vulnerability index in Kecamatan Girimulyo is included in the low category. This indicates that the people of Kecamatan Girimulyo are socially prepared in the event of a landslide.
