The concept of mindfulness based on Islam Religion has a lack definitional identifying and clarification related to mindfulness for moslem people which often face confusion with how to apply mindfulness in accordance with the religion of Islam. Abstract

Background: Indonesia is facing COVID-19 waves in almost all provinces. Based on data from the COVID-19 Response Acceleration Task Force, there were 57 districts with a compliance level of wearing a mask by less than 60%, while 51 districts had a compliance level of keeping distance and avoiding crowds by less than 60%. Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of the Health Promotion Model (HPM) in increasing people’s compliance level on the implementation of COVID-19 health protocols. Methods: Quasi-experiment with a single-group interrupted time-series design was conducted in June-September 2021 in West Lombok district and Central Lombok district, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The samples were 326 respondents from purposive sampling with criteria: adult group or elderly of the healthy category and not being positively confirmed of COVID-19. Results: There was a significant effect of HPM in increasing people’s compliance level on the implementation of the health protocols (5M) measured by the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (p-value <0,05). The health protocols (5M) included wearing a mask (p=0,000), keeping distance (p=0,000), cleaning hands (p=0,000), avoiding crowds (p=0,000), and reducing mobility (p=0,000). Conclusion: The Health Promotion Model (HPM) is a strategy to conduct health promotion activities that can influence the attitudes and behaviors of community groups marked by increasing knowledge and awareness of people in the Lombok area for the implementation of the 5M COVID-19 health protocols.

Abstract

Abstract Anxiety in nursing students have been shown to have an impact on the body. This study aims to determine the effect of mindfulness training by using smartphone applications on anxiety in the group of final level nursing students in Indonesia. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test design. The number of samples was 77 students, divided into 38 respondents in the intervention group and 39 respondents in the control group. The intervention group was given mindfulness training by using the smartphone application in four meetings for two weeks, whereas the control group was given mindfulness training after the study in the fifth week. Anxiety is measured by the Zung Self Rating Anxiety Scale (ZSRAS) instrument. Data analyze by using Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon tests. The results of this study indicate that the average value of anxiety in the intervention group before the study was 43.55 (± 3.92), and there was a decrease after mindfulness training to 36.50 (± 4.77) (p = .000). Whereas in the control group the average anxiety value was 44.23 (± 4.36), and there was an increase in anxiety to 45.00 (± 5.04) in the post-test with a value (p = .813). Mindfulness training through smartphone devices SIMBA application has a significant effect on reducing anxiety levels in final-year nursing students. This intervention could be done independently to overcome psychological problems that often interfere with the learning process of nursing students in the academic environment. Abstract

Background: Public health services today require community empowerment so that services become affordable in every village in the community. Health cadres are existing non-professional health workers who are trained to be able to support patients or the community in addressing health problems faced. Health cadres as non-professionals who are directly dealing with the community are required to increase their ability continuously according to the changes that occur in the community.Purpose: The purpose of this study is that health cadres can improve their understanding holistically about health, through the SI-SEHO application tool so that health cadres can monitor the health of patients in the community.Method: The research used is descriptive using a qualitative approach obtained from the results of empowerment and cadre training activities using the SI-SEHO application. Data analysis is based on the objectives of the training on the use of the SI-SEHO application. Results: The results of this research activity are that health cadres can understand the meaning of health holistically that is inseparable from several dimensions of understanding holistic health. As stated by SP respondent 4 "Holistic health is comprehensive health, such as body and mind health." The ability of cadres to help individuals, families and communities increase with cadres saying "now we can help others in the community by registering through applications". Other results were obtained from research subjects as several people had been detected with physical illness and some people were detected at risk for mental disorders. Conclusion: The use of information technology is able to improve the knowledge and ability of health cadres in monitoring sick individuals or patients in the community. The development of health information systems is currently needed in the development of health services in today's digital era, such as empowering health cadres through information system training.

Abstract

Decreased limb function is one of the complications that often occurs in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients who experience hemiparesis as a result of limited joint motion in the upper and lower extremities. Acupressure is useful in improving extremity function by increasing the movement of qi (vital energy) flow in the body, but acupressure has never been done by nurses in hospital care rooms as a therapy to prevent and overcome motor function complications in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. This study aims to identify the effect of acupressure at 14 points on the range of motion of the upper and lower extremities in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. This study used an experimental design with a pre-post test approach design with a control group of 38 respondents (n control and n intervention = 19). The intervention group was given 14-point stroke acupressure for 15 minutes once a day for 7 days. The results showed that there were differences between the control and control ranges between the intervention group and the control group (p = 0.000). Acupressure at 14 points is an effective intervention to increase the range of motion of the upper and lower extremities in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients who have hemiparesis. The recommendation in this study is that nurses in the stroke center can apply 14-point acupressure as one of the SOPs in the treatment of non-hemorrhagic stroke patients to improve the range of motion in the extremities.
