Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the interaction between monetary and macroprudential policy through the function of the central bank's objectives, namely the plain vanilla taylor rule, lean against the wind taylor rule, independent macroprudential policy rule and lean against the wind taylor rule with macroprudential policy. The parameter value used was based on the previous empirical study. The numerical optimizer csminwel of Chris Sims was used to solve the quadratic linear problems. The optimum coefficient calculation applied dynare optimal simple rule routine using the application of dynare 4.5.7 and matlab software. The result shows the macroprudential instruments, known as a buffer in monetary policy, we’re able to optimally minimize the loss function of the central bank. The central bank carried out both monetary and macroprudential policy in a comprehensive way to achieve two purposes as stated in the tinbergen principle. The interest rate policy is intended for reaching inflation and output stability, while the macroprudential policy is for credit growth. Macroeconomic stability with the addition of macroprudential policy is significant. This advantage is intended to cover greater volatility both in the policy rate and the inflation rate.

Abstract

Social independence and alternative efforts to improve the village economy are joint or collaborative efforts through community service activities. The form of community service activities can be in the form of information transfer, education and technology or other planned activities. One of these fields can be agricultural activities, namely plant breeding or cell multiplication which functions to meet the need for seeds, especially for home gardens, ornamental plants, plantations, food and horticulture, all of which can be done independently for sale or to meet one's own needs. Cultivation of garden and horticultural crops in Suling Wetan Village still uses conventional methods which greatly affect overall production results. The macropropagation technique is an effort to obtain quality seeds that have viability, disease resistance and superior characteristics and are able to maintain the same characteristics as their parents. The service activities received a very good response from the Suling Wetan village farmer group and the general public. Farming groups or the general public can utilize macropropagation technology to support agricultural production at low costs and become an alternative source of income.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected the economy from both the supply and demand sides. Policies are designed coherently and quickly, especially monetary and fiscal stimulus. However, the network effect of Covid-19 and global uncertainty can be a challenge in implementing a policy. The motivation behind this study is to determine the response of fiscal and monetary policies to income inequality in Indonesia pra-pandemic and during the period of Covid-19 pandemic. The dataset used in this study is panel data which consists of 25 provinces in Indonesia and period from 2017 – 2021. The estimation method used to identify the response of monetary and fiscal policy to income inequality in Indonesia is Dynamic GMM. This study found that only fiscal policies were effective in reducing inequality in Indonesia before the Covid-19 pandemic. Then during the Covid-19 pandemic period, this study found that monetary and fiscal policies were effective in reducing inequality in Indonesia. This condition shows that the stimulus issued by the government is effective in the sense that it can be a cushion to prevent widening inequality during the Covid-19 period. Overall, this study implies that policy synchronization between fiscal and monetary is needed to minimize the economic impact during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Export activities contribute to economic development so it is necessary to make various efforts to increase exports in a country. Exports are influenced by factors that become a country's comparative advantage in conducting international trade. The superior factor discussed in this journal is the development of the financial sector. An advanced financial sector can reduce industrial exporters' barriers to exporting, especially barriers to funding and shipping. This research aims to look at the impact of financial development on exports in Indonesia. This research uses descriptive analysis methods. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the increase in financial development is not accompanied by an increase in exports in Indonesia which is due to a lack of channeling funds to the exporter sector and there are obstacles to carrying out export activities.

Abstract

Education is a fundamental component in the development of a nation, particularly for a developing country like Indonesia, which requires a generation of high-quality successors. To support this need, the government has implemented a 12-year compulsory education policy, covering education from Elementary School (SD) to Senior High School (SMA). Elementary School serves as the foundational stage for students' learning. However, academic education alone is insufficient to create a quality generation; character education also plays a key role in shaping individual attitudes. As moral values are increasingly eroded by modern developments, character education becomes even more essential. This study was conducted on 6th-grade students at SDN Ambulu 3, employing an approach that emphasizes the importance of appreciating parents. This approach aims to enhance students' awareness of their parents' roles in their lives and their responsibilities as learners. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive method, with letter writing as the research instrument. The results indicate that character education with a focus on appreciating parents is effective in boosting students' enthusiasm for learning.
