Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran daring dilakukan untuk mengurangi penyebaran wabah Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi pembelajaran yaitu strategi REACT dengan berbantuan media pembelajaran yaitu aplikasi augmented reality pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu pretest-posttest control group design yang dilakukan selama proses pembelajaran daring. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII di SMP Satu Atap Pejukutan, Kabupaten Klungkung. Penggunaan soal pilihan ganda digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa selanjutnya di uji dengan uji ANOVA dan mendapatkan nilai signifikansi yaitu sebesar 0.02 yang lebih kecil dari 0.05, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat adanya perbedaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi REACT berbantuan aplikasi augmented reality bangun ruang dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

Higher Education, or tertiary education, is the final stage which is optional in formal education. It is usually organized in the form of a university, academy, seminary, high school, or institute. Every tertiary institution needs qualified and professional educators because they have an important role in the process of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Recruitment for teaching staff usually has several stages and standardization of assessment in selection proces. In order for the process of selecting educators to be carried out objectively, a support system is need to carry out the assessment process. This study applies the Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor (FK-NN) method for the classification process in determining prospective educators who pass or not. Data classification is a new data or object grouping into classes or labels based on certain attributes. The application of the FK-NN method has several stages, namely weighting the criteria, then calculating the closeness of the test data and training data, finding the value of k-nearest neighbors between the training data and testing data and determining the membership of each data. Tests were carried out using the Confusion matrix method on several variations of the k value where the highest percentage was obtained from the value of k = 5. The test results for all k values obtained an average accuracy rate of 89.22%, 89.22% precision and 82.45% recall with 114 training data and 50 test data. Based on the average value of the test results, it can be concluded that the FK-NN method is feasible and good to use for the selection of educators with the classification of pass or not.

Abstract

Information technology has become a key element of organizations and one of institutions’ added value and competitive advantages. Therefore, IT must be properly managed and measured. Denpasar Industrial Training Center (BDI) has implemented the IT Governance Education and Training Information System, SISDIKLAT. These applications have never been evaluated from an IT governance perspective. This study aimed to determine domains and assess SISDIKLAT using methods relevant to COBIT 5. To assist the organization in focusing on its main objectives and strategies, a tailored governance system based on the specificities of SISDIKLAT is required. This research assist BDI Denpasar in establishing healthy governance and IT management by utilizing the COBIT 5 framework. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches are used to select relevant governance/management objectives. Four domains and nine subdomains were chosen based on the domain analysis. According to the assessment results, the capability value of each subdomain was 2--3, with a gap value of 0.2--0.8. To reach the target level, the nine subdomains were advised.

Abstract

A deep understanding of ship trajectory movements has essential implications for maritime applications, including navigation, monitoring, and marine traffic analysis. Efficient and accurate extraction techniques are necessary to extract valuable information from ship trajectory data. One commonly used approach is the interpolation method, which allows the reconstruction of smooth trajectories from recorded data points. This research is focused on analyzing the extraction of ship trajectories using the interpolation method provided by the Python Vessel Tracking (PyVT) library. This method allows interpolation of ship trajectory data based on various algorithms available in the library. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of interpolation methods from PyVT in reconstructing ship trajectories from incomplete or disturbed data. Within this research's framework, several test scenarios were implemented to examine different types of ship trajectory data, including data with missing points and speed variations. Evaluation metrics RMSE (root mean Squared Error), which includes reconstruction accuracy, will be utilized from the interpolation algorithm in PyVT.

Abstract

As a center for Information and Communication Technology services, the Global Distance Learning Network (GDLN) of Udayana University must reconsider the implementation of static routing protocols that have been applied to meet the increasing demands of computer networks. Dynamic routing protocols, such as Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS), can be used to address the challenges currently faced with static routing, and serve as a more viable option for larger network requirements. This research evaluates the implementation of static routing protocols and IS-IS at the UNUD Denpasar campus using Graphical Network Simulator-3 to assess the future utilization of the IS-IS routing protocol. Quality of Service (QoS) parameters are used to assess network performance, while the scenarios include PING intervals with settings close to streaming YouTube videos. The research findings reveal that both routing protocols exhibit good service quality, meeting TIPHON criteria with excellent evaluations for packet loss, throughput, and delay, in addition to satisfactory criteria for jitter. Simulation tests demonstrate the superiority of the IS-IS routing protocol compared to static routing when transmitting data in high-resolution streaming video formats like 480p, 720p, and 1080p. On the other hand, static routing is more suitable for disseminating data consisting of lower-resolution streaming videos (360p). Based on the research results, it can be inferred that the dynamic routing protocol IS-IS is more suitable for meeting network demands on a larger scale.

Abstract

A reliable and failure-resistant computer network is an important prerequisite in the modern interconnected environment. This research aims to examine and compare the effectiveness of fault tolerance between two commonly used routing protocols, namely static routing and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First), in the context of hybrid networks at Udayana University (UNUD). This research uses GNS3 to simulate the UNUD network environment. The research method is carried out by implementing static and OSPF routing separately in the GNS3 simulation. After the routing implementation is carried out, the network is tested against various error scenarios to observe how each routing method handles the situation.In this research, the analysis results provide a deeper understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of each routing method. Our findings illustrate that OSPF significantly improves fault tolerance and network availability compared to static routing in complex hybrid network environments.

Abstract

UNUD GDLN building located in UNUD Sudirman campus acts as an information and communication technology service center as an internet access service provider, radio broadcast and online learning. The UNUD Campus network currently uses a static hybrid routing protocol, where the static routing protocol has the disadvantage that the network administrator must always reconfigure the network if there is a topology change. The Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) dynamic routing protocol can be used as a solution to overcome the weaknesses of static routing protocols because it is more suitable for larger networks and has the advantage of automatically determining the best route. This research aims to analyze the application of OSPF routing protocol in UNUD Denpasar Campus with GNS3 simulation. This research uses Quality of Service (QoS) parameters to analyze network performance, and test scenarios by PING with large data transmission that imitates YouTube video streaming. The results showed that OSPF dynamic routing protocol has better performance and has met the TIPHON standard with very good results for packet loss, throughput, and delay parameters and good results for jitter parameters. Tests on static routing protocol simulations and OSPF routing protocols are carried out by comparing the transmission process based on the resolution on YouTube video streaming imitation, starting with 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p resolutions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that OSPF routing is more suitable and produces better parameter values when transmitting streaming video with a resolution of 480p, 720p and 1080p, while the transmission of streaming video with a resolution of 360p is more suitable for static routing which is more suitable for transmission with lower resolutions.

Abstract

The implementation of technology in universities is rapidly increasing, Either of them are creating various groupings such as financial, library, and academic data. This research implemented the graduation data Udayana University Faculty of Engineering students by applying the data mining method, specifically the K-Means Clustering algorithm. The study aimed to assist Udayana University Faculty of Engineering in comprehending detailed graduation patterns by categorizing the data based on variables including students' origin (district or city) and the study programs in engineering faculty. This research also focused on the visualization design of clustered data in the form of charts and graphs. This data visualization dashboard was created using Google Looker Studio, which the clustered student graduation data is visualized in the form of charts and clustering graphs, which can make it easier for Udayana University Faculty of Engineering to achieve new information and useful insights to improve the academic performance of Udayana University Faculty of Engineering itself.

Abstract

Compression in image data needs to be done to manage storage space efficiently. In this study, image compression is performed using the Differential Evolution (DE) algorithm as an approach to achieve an optimal threshold for pixel clustering in images. The performance of this image compression method is evaluated based on the Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) parameters. The PSNR of DE image compression ranges from 27 dB to 40 dB with threshold levels between 10 to 40. Meanwhile, the SSIM ranges from 0.83 to 0.97 at threshold levels of 10 to 40. The PSNR and SSIM of DE image compression are both at a good level, resulting in compressed image visuals that closely resemble the original image as the threshold levels increase.

Abstract

Data imputation is necessary to overcome data loss in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) due to the many sensors used to monitor traffic conditions. Sensor malfunction, hardware limitations, and technical glitches can lead to incomplete data, potentially leading to errors in traffic data analysis. This analysis investigated spatial-temporal data imputation approaches applied for predictive modeling in ITS. Each approach's strengths, weaknesses, and applicability in the context of ITS are evaluated. We analyzed various imputation approaches involving statistical, machine learning, and combined methods. Statistical methods are more straightforward but could effectively handle modern traffic's complexity. On the other hand, machine learning and combined approaches, such as hybrid convolutional neural network (CNN)- long short-term memory (LSTM), offer more robust capabilities in capturing non-linear patterns present in spatio-temporal data. This research aims to investigate the effectiveness of each approach in overcoming data incompleteness and the accuracy of predicting future traffic conditions with the widespread adoption of IoT, electric vehicles, and autonomous vehicles. The results of this investigation provide an understanding of the most suitable approaches to address the challenges of spatio-temporal data imputation and provide practical guidance for predictive modeling in ITS.
