Abstract

Education is one of the most important aspects in building Indonesia's golden generation. Ki Hajar Dewantara's philosophy, with its concepts of Tri No and Tri Nga, provides a strong foundation for emphasizing the importance of developing a complete Indonesian generation that is cultured, civilized, and of superior quality. This article aims to analyze the role of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga philosophy as the foundation of education in creating Indonesia's golden generation. These concepts will be explained in the context of the Second Principle of Pancasila (Just and Civilized Humanity), which emphasizes the importance of creating diversity awareness and a sense of togetherness. This study uses a literature review approach to explore a deeper understanding of Ki Hajar Dewantara's contribution to education in Indonesia. The combination of Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga philosophies results in three important stages in shaping the foundation and character of children's education. Ki Hajar Dewantara's Tri No and Tri Nga educational philosophies are an important foundation for the formation of individuals with character, morals, and the ability to live harmoniously in a diverse society, which is the core of the Second Principle of Pancasila. This philosophy promotes learning that not only enhances academic intelligence but also character development.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are pervasive developmental disorders that cover various aspects of development. Interventions using drugs are still not clearly proven to address the core problems of children with autism spectrum disorders, so interventions are directed at non-pharmacological approaches. The aim of this study is to examine the TEACCH class model for comprehensive interventions for children with ASD in all aspects of development. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data sources for this study were a vice principal and two teachers from one of the autism special schools in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. Data collection techniques through interviews and observation. Data analysis used the Miles & Huberman Flow Analysis Model. The validity of the data was carried out by triangulating sources, techniques, and theories. Research findings (1) The minimal TEACCH class model consists of a whiteboard, bench, visual support, and a sensory/quiet corner. Teachers apply TEACCH by implementing structured learning activities (clear, coherent, and predictable activities) and flexible ones (adjusting to the needs of each child) by involving an independent work system. (2) The application of TEACCH can improve the skills of autistic spectrum children in communication, social, emotional-behavior, and cognitive aspects.

Abstract

Education is an important thing in Indonesia. Education can have an impact on the sustainable lives of students both in terms of character and social emotions. Apart from that, education can also help a student find his or her identity. This research aims to find out how suitable Ki Hajar Dewantara's thoughts are when applied in the world of education at all levels, both formal and non-formal, in Indonesia. The method used is Preferred Reporting Items For Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) which is taken from national journals and international journals. Searching for literature sources in this article via Google Scholar in 2013-2023. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the aim of Ki Hajar Dewantara's education, which was also instituted at Taman Siswa, was to produce ideal humans for the nation who were physically and spiritually healthy and had intellectual, emotional and intelligent abilities. all of which have been implemented in Indonesia and are still used as a reference for the teaching and learning process at all levels of formal and non-formal education. Ki Hajar Dewantara also through his opinion tries to emphasize the implementation of character education which must instill understanding, feel something learned and then implement it in real behavior which is now being implemented in Indonesia through continuously updated curricula

Abstract

Bullying in educational settings remains a critical issue, particularly for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who often struggle with verbal communication and social cues. This research addresses the lack of affordable and non-invasive early warning systems designed specifically for the sensory needs of autistic children. The primary objective was to develop and test an Arduino- and Internet of Things (IoT)-based early warning bell system to empower ASD students to report bullying incidents in real time. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop), the system was tested by 50 stakeholders, including special education teachers and experts. Results indicate a high level of system effectiveness, with a 94% rapid warning response rate and a 90% increase in students' perceived sense of safety. Statistical analysis yielded a Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.948, confirming high reliability. This study concludes that integrating simple IoT push-button technology with Telegram notifications provides a feasible, low-cost solution for inclusive schools. It shifts the safety paradigm from passive monitoring to active student empowerment, offering a sustainable protection strategy for vulnerable learners.

Abstract

Individuals with intellectual disabilities often face cognitive limitations in understanding abstract social boundaries, increasing their vulnerability to sexual deviance. This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR) media that provide concrete 3D visualizations, addressing the gap in safe, interactive sex education for this population. This research followed the ADDIE model, prioritizing Safe Content Design and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). The approach ensures that materials are cognitively accessible and socially appropriate for students with mild intellectual disabilities. Expert validation confirmed high feasibility with scores of 92% (media) and 87% (content). Field testing showed 90% practicality and a significant increase in effectiveness, with an N-gain score of 0.71. These results suggest that AR effectively bridges the cognitive gap by allowing repetitive simulations of social "Safe Zones" without triggering inappropriate arousal.
