Abstract

The activity of putting ideas into writing makes students feel difficult, especially in choosing diction, figure of speech, pengimajian and concrete words in making a poem. Therefore, it is necessary to have interesting learning media and methods in order to assist students in putting ideas and ideas into their writing. This is related to the research objectives, namely to examine the implementation of learning to write poetry, examine the responses of teachers and students and examine the difficulties experienced by students in learning to write poetry by using a project based learning model assisted by audio visual media in class x even semester students at MAN. 1 Bandung City for the 2019-2020 academic year which was held in February 2020 for 3 meetings. The subjects in this study were 33 students. This research method is carried out by using a qualitative descriptive method. The data instrument was obtained using observation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique used is in the form of scores from the results of the tests carried out as the final results. The criteria for the success of this research can be seen from the increase in the success of the processes and products produced. The results of the observation sheet when accumulated from three meetings for teacher activities get a score of 89% with the high category and three meetings. The results of the student questionnaire during the three meetings got a score of 80.3% in the high category. The activity of putting ideas into writing makes students feel difficult, especially when writing text in choosing diction, figure of speech, pengimajian and concrete words in making a poem. Even so, students can finish it well, and some students get scores above the KKM. From the data above, it can be concluded that learning to write poetry using the project-based learning method assisted by audio-visual media is very effective in learning to write poetry.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the intrinsic elements of a literary work. Literature is an essay from the results of human thoughts and feelings that arouses imagination. Literary work is a work that examines various problems of life. But in it has its own element of beauty. The type of literary work that is often read and describes a life is short stories. The short story length is very relative and in the short story it has elements that are different from other elements, the elements that are owned are the intrinsic elements. Intrinsic elements include themes, characters, plot, setting, point of view, and mandate. The method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method. This method aims to describe the facts in a short story. Researchers are interested in researching a short story entitled "Dilarang Menyanyi Di Kamar Mandi" by Seno Gumira Ajidarma, because this short story is a realist in telling social life that is easily carried away by other people's opinions and comments. This research produces intrinsic elements which include the themes contained in this short story including moral and social themes, the characters and their characterizations are divided into several with various kinds of characters available, the plot formed in this short story is a forward flow, the background used is in a the village alley and the mandate contained in this short story is the importance of maintaining good manners in terms of the new culture and culture so as not to cause misunderstandings so that far from social inequality, you must be able to understand the culture and culture of a place.

Abstract

Many things will be affected by unstable emotions, including gestures to different ways of communicating. Words are one of the manifestations that a person can choose when their emotions are unstable, some express them directly and some are indirect in other words, preferring to put all their feelings into writing. This research is based on looking at the development of a person's writing in writing captions on social media, writing that definitely represents the feelings that the writer is experiencing. This study aims to describe the ability to write captions based on literary works on social media among students. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method, using an observation sheet that discusses the ability to write captions based on literary works on social media. The sample of this study involved 15 students of the sixth semester of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education IKIP Siliwangi taken from class A2-2016 representing each level of writing ability. The results of this study indicate the ability to write literary based captions on social media in which there are differences between students who like and dislike literary works. This is evidenced by the data obtained that those who have the ability to write and fall into the good category in writing subtitles are 8 people, 4 are not good and 3 are not good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students who experience bullying at a school in Bandung. This research was conducted based on the phenomena that occur in the field. One thing that schools can do through counseling teachers is the provision of group counseling services to all students in the school and working with class teachers and subject teachers. The approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods are interviews and documentation of counseling teachers and students who experience bullying victims. The research subjects were 2 students who were victims of bullying and a counseling teacher. The results of the study indicate that these students experience repeated bullying so that the child's psychology is disturbed as a result of these students often skipping school, lack of motivation to learn, quiet, and lack of confidence.Keywords: Bullying, Students.

Abstract

This study aims to get an overview and to understand in depth about the motivation to continue education to higher education students of class XII SMAN 4 Garut. The approach in this research is descriptive quantitative. Retrieval of data using the interview method. The subjects in this study were 5 students. The results of this study indicate that the factors inhibiting participants in continuing their studies to higher education include: Lack of interest in student learning towards education and higher education, lack of motivation from parents to improve their children's education, high costs of education in tertiary institutions and the economic condition of parents who insufficient or even inadequate, the requirements set by the desired tertiary institution are not fulfilled, and the community does not care less about education.Keywords:  Motivation, Education to college

Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the language error in the field of morphology contained in the Youtube title on Channel Rans Entertainment. The purpose of this study was to research and analyze language errors in morphology in Youtube titles on Channel Rans Entertainment. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, documentation, note-taking, and data analysis techniques. The results of this study describe language errors in the morphological field of Youtube titles on Channel Rans Entertainment, especially errors in the use of affixation. These errors include: omitting the prefix {ber-}, writing errors in the prefix {di-}, removing the prefix {me-}, removing the prefix {meng-}, removing the confix {me-kan}, removing the confix {di-kan}, removing the prefix {meN-}, removing the confix {ke-an}, removing the confix {meng-i} and removing the suffix {-kan}.

Abstract

This research is to study the learning of writing short stories through mind mapping methods in class XI students of SMK HAMKA Cikande. Learning to write short stories in fact reap various problems and are still less attractive to students, among them, the difficulty of students to start the writing process, the difficulties of students to develop ideas thinking, and writing as difficult and less interesting things. This study aims to describe learning to write short stories through mind mapping methods that will overcome students 'difficulties in writing, help students find ideas, and to open students' minds in mapping ideas. This research method uses descriptive qualitative which aims to make a description naturally through objects accurately, factually and systematically. The results showed students get an average score of 49 initial tests and final tests get an average score of 79. For the sake of learning, learning to write short stories through the mind mapping method has increased very well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the scenario and implementation of learning to write drama text for VIII grade junior high school students using the Example Non Example Model of IT-based comic media, to determine the responses of teachers and VIII grade junior high school students to learning writing drama text using The Example Non Example Model of IT-based comic media and to find out what difficulties were experienced by VIII grade junior high school students in completing the tasks of writing drama texts. This study uses a qualitative description method. The implementation of learning is in accordance with the learning scenario, but the application of the steps of the non-example model is carried out sequentially. Of the 23 students, there were 19 students who scored above the KKM standard ≥ 71 with a percentage of 82.6% categorized as "Very High". Teacher and student questionnaire sheets obtain maximum data, namely the learning of drama texts using the Example Non Example Model of IT-based comic media can provide innovative methods for students, attract student interest, and student motivation to learn. The media used for categorized students succeed in writing drama texts. Student difficulties can be seen from the average knowledge and skills. The lowest average knowledge value is 65 ≤ 100 about language rules, while the lowest average skill value is 67 ≤ 100 about structure

Abstract

This research is motivated by at least a literaly work that discusses a position of woman in society in culture and marriage bond. The focus of research refers to relation of novel with author, novel with society and social purpose novel in society. The method that used in this research is drescriptive qualitative with the data source from Saman novel by Ayu Utami and some kind of relevant research. The result of reserch show that complexity of issues that presented in Saman accurate with data about social events in Indonesia.Through Saman, Ayu expressed her thoughts about religion, sex, marriage, race, economics, and politics. Besides, space, time, and event that used as reference contextual in Saman can't be separated from social and politics that causes it.At least, saman telling about process of land takeover, nepotism, abduction, social inequality, representing new order era that shows the attitude and the responses of the characters in the face of the problem.
