Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the value of character education contained in the film “Zootopia”. This research was conducted because of the many assumptions that the morale and character of the younger generation are damaged, which is marked by the proliferation of news in electronic media that presents deviant juvenile crime and delinquency. This involves children in their teens, children who are still in school, and other young generations. At present, there has been a decline in the interest of children and adolescents towards cartoon films, this certainly makes researchers think whether there are lessons and character education contained in the cartoon “Zootopia”? What makes researchers interested in the film “Zootopia” is that everyone has the right to have dreams that can be realized even though the circumstances around us are not supportive. The method used in this study is a note-taking method to collect data and the theory used to dissect this research is the sociological theory of literature which focuses on the value of character education in the film “Zootopia”. The results of the research carried out are that the cartoon film “Zootopia” contains character education values, this is reflected throughout the film show, such as honesty, nationalism, responsibility, discipline, courage, democracy, attitude of help and friendship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis upaya guru untuk mengembangkan aspek motivasi siswa sekolah dasar pada masa pandemic. Lokasi penelitian ini di kota Karawang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan data sekunder sebagai sumber datanya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hendaknya guru lebih memperhatikan proses belajar siswa, aspek motivasi ini bisa ditingkatkan dengan pemberian nilai yang sesuai dengan hasil belajar, selain itu guru juga hendaknya memberikan apresiasi kepada siswa atas dasar prestasi mereka dan memberikan ruang serta kesempatan untuk pengembangan bakat dan minat bagi peserta didiknya.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter sangat penting diterapkan sejak usia dini karena akan berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan selanjutnya. Penguatan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila terdapat pada kurikulum merdeka. Beberapa sekolah sudah mulai menerapkan kurikulum merdeka termasuk PAUD Istiqomah Bandung sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk menganalisa adanya capaian karakter profil pelajar Pancasila pada seluruh anak melalui serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran sehari-hari dari mulai kegiatan pembuka sampai penutup. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi kasus dengan sasaran penelitian seluruh anak kelompok A dan B di PAUD Istiqomah. Pengumpulan data berupa observasi terhadap seluruh anak pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, wawancara terhadap guru dan studi dokumentasi. Data dikaji dengan mengunakan model Miles dan Huberman mencakup 3 tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tercapainya 5 dari 6 dimensi karakter profil pelajar Pancasila di PAUD Istiqomah, yaitu; (1) beriman, bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa dan berakhlak mulia, (2) mandiri, (3) bergotong royong, (4) berkebhinekaan global, dan (5) kreatif, namun capaian karakter bernalar kritis masih rendah, sehingga perlu adanya inovasi kegiatan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan capaian tersebut. Character education is critical to implement from an early age because it will influence later life. Strengthening the character of the Pancasila student profile is found in the independent curriculum. Several schools have started implementing the independent curriculum, including PAUD Istiqomah Bandung, so researchers are interested in analyzing the achievements of the Pancasila student profile character among all children through a series of daily learning activities from opening to closing activities. The research method uses a case study, with the research target being all children in groups A and B at PAUD Istiqomah. Data collection involves observations of all children during learning, teacher interviews, and documentation studies. The data was studied using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research show that five of the six dimensions of the character profile of Pancasila students at PAUD Istiqomah have been achieved, namely: (1) have faith, have devotion to God Almighty, and have noble character; (2) be independent; (3) work together; (4) have global diversity; and (5) be creative, but the achievement of critical reasoning character is still low, so there is a need for innovation learning activities that can improve these achievements.

Abstract

The development of learning materials is a demand that is needed in the future, especially the application of hybrid learning. The use of hybrid learning materials is very urgent to anticipate the situation, both offline learning, computer-based learning, and online learning. This research aims to develop a STEAM-based teaching material model with a Flipbook application for Indonesian Language subjects in class X of high school. The method used is research and development (R&D) with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and validation. Descriptive-qualitative analysis was applied, and the test results showed an average increase of 0.567 (medium category). The average difference between the initial test and the final test was 23.8, which indicates that this STEAM-based teaching material is effective for use at the high school level.

Abstract

Abstract

Nilai-nilai karakter yang ditanamkan pada anak sejak kecil akan menjadi potensi untuk berkembang sebagai bekal kehidupan selanjutnya. Salah satu nilai karakter yang harus ditanamkan sejak dini yaitu mandiri. Karakter mandiri berarti berusaha membentuk sikap seseorang agar tidak bergantung pada orang lain. Pembentukan karakter ini bisa menggunakan practical life yang dijadikan program pembiasaan pada lembaga anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang implementasi practical life yang ada di Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al-Mathroh untuk mengembangkan kemandirian anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya adalah anak kelompok A yang berjumlah 13 orang, lima orang anak laki-laki dan delapan orang anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan langkah-langkah menurut Miles dan Hubermen yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi practical life di RA Al-Mathroh untuk mengembangkan karakter mandiri dilakukan pada kegiatan pembelajaran sehari-hari. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah membuka dan menyimpan sepatu pada tempatnya, mencuci dan mengeringkan tangan, mengerjakan tugas sendiri, merapikan kembali peralatan yang telah digunakan dan menyimpan alat serta media yang telah digunakan.   The character values instilled in children from childhood will have the potential to develop as provisions for later life. One of the character values that must be instilled from an early age is independence. An independent character means trying to shape a person's attitude so that they do not depend on other people. This character formation can use practical life, which is used as a habituation program in early childhood institutions. Therefore, the aim of this research is to obtain an overview of the implementation of practical life at Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al-Mathroh to develop children's independence. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were 13 group A children, five boys and eight girls. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses steps according to Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this research show that the implementation of practical life at RA Al-Mathroh to develop independent character is carried out in daily learning activities. Activities carried out are removing and storing shoes in their place, washing and drying hands, doing tasks themselves, tidying up used equipment, and storing tools and media that have been used.

Abstract

Pada abad ke-21 kemampuan yang harus dikuasai yaitu mampu menciptakan hal-hal baru, berpikir kritis, dan memiliki kecakapan dalam berkomunikasi. Sepaham dengan teori Bloom yang menyatakan bahwa menciptakan hal yang baru merupakan kemampuan kreativitas yang menjadi poin paling penting. Kreativitas tidak akan berkembang jika tidak distimulus dengan baik. Oleh karena itu kemampuan kreativitas perlu di stimulus sejak awal pada pendidikan anak usia dini, sebagai pendidik sudah seharusnya memberikan media permainan yang menarik. Salah satu permainan yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas yaitu permainan Motor Skill Block Interlocking System (MoBIS). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan permainan MoBIS untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskripstif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini anak usia 5-6 Tahun di RA Thoriqur Rahmah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diterapkannya media permainan MoBIS ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada kemampuan kreativitas anak menunjukkan mampu berani menggabungkan komponen-komponen MoBIS dengan baik tanpa bantuan, mampu membuat bentuk yang berbeda, dan mampu menciptakan karya sesuai kemauan anak sehingga anak mampu menciptakan sebuah bentuk baru, menarik dan unik.   In the 21st century, the skills that must be mastered are creating new things, thinking critically, and having communication skills. This is in line with Bloom's theory, which states that creating new things is a creative ability that is the most important point. Creativity will not develop if it is not stimulated properly. Therefore, the ability to be creative needs to be stimulated from the beginning in early childhood education, as educators should provide interesting game media. One game that can improve creativity is the Motor Skill Block Interlocking System (MoBIS) game. The purpose of this study was to describe the use of the Mo-BIS game to improve the creativity of children aged 5-6 years. The method in this study used qualitative description. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 years at RA Thoriqur Rahmah. The data collection techniques used were interviews and field observations. The data analysis used was data reduction, data display, and concluding. Based on the results of the study, the application of MoBIS game media shows an increase in children's creativity abilities, showing that they can dare to combine MoBIS components well without assistance, can make different shapes, and can create works according to the child's wishes so that children can create a new, interesting, and unique shape.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the results of observations by researchers who encountered obstacles regarding learning to write, one of which was in the fable text, because the difficulty level of expressing ideas in fables was considered higher than in other texts. The information is taken from the results of pre-research conducted with field observations. Therefore, this study formulated a problem that was carried out using a problem-based learning learning model. From this formulation, the researcher had a specific goal regarding the impact of writing fable text skills on the aspect of value evaluation, which aims to improve students' writing skills. During the process, the problem-based learning model is implemented in groups of 4-5 students so that students can exchange ideas in a structured manner.The method used in this study combines qualitative description with data collection techniques in the form of writing skills involving five aspects, namely, content, structure, linguistic rules, EBI, and writing. The object of the research is 31 grade VII students at SMPN 1 Cihampelas. The data collection technique was by taking writing skills test data and paying attention to five aspects, namely content, structure, linguistic rules, EBI, and writing. By using a problem-based learning model that is systematically arranged to achieve the learning objectives to be achieved and a learning method that is able to assist the learning process and can facilitate students in discussing in groups about writing fable texts, The results of this study showed that 4 students got the highest score and 27 students got a sufficient score with an average value of 88.9, so it can be concluded that the use of the problem-based learning learning model in learning to write fable texts is effectively used in class VII 7 students.

Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan di era digital menuntut pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan inovatif guna mewujudkan Kurikulum Merdeka. Workshop ini merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PPM) Pascasarjana IKIP Siliwangi yang dilaksanakan di Kabupaten Bandung Barat pada tahun 2024. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali pendidik dengan strategi efektif dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran yang adaptif, berbasis teknologi, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Dengan mengedepankan prinsip diferensiasi, eksplorasi, dan kolaborasi, Workshop ini menghadirkan berbagai teknik inovatif dalam pengajaran, termasuk pemanfaatan platform digital, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, serta strategi asesmen formatif yang mendukung pengembangan kompetensi siswa secara holistik. Melalui sesi interaktif, peserta akan mendapatkan wawasan tentang implementasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, mulai dari penggunaan media interaktif, kecerdasan buatan dalam pendidikan hingga gamifikasi sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa. Selain itu, Workshop ini juga akan membahas tantangan dan solusi dalam menerapkan pembelajaran inovatif di berbagai konteks sekolah. Diharapkan, hasil dari Workshop ini dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik dalam mengadaptasi metode pembelajaran yang lebih relevan dan efektif sesuai dengan semangat Kurikulum Merdeka, sehingga mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih fleksibel, menarik, dan berpusat pada kebutuhan peserta didik.
