Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh aktivisme digital fandom K-pop NCT. Alasan peneliti tertarik mengangkat tema ini dikarenakan peneliti melihat fenomena hadirnya akun X aktivisme digital @nctzenhumanity yang dimana akun ini berdiri setelah aksi penggalangan dana untuk korban Kanjuruhan, sebagai salah satu wujud positif dari interaksi parasosial antara Idol dan penggemar. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) untuk mengetahui hal yang melatarbelakangi terbentuknya @nctzenhumanity, 2) untuk mengetahui visi, misi, dan harapan dari akun @nctzenhumanity, 3) untuk mengetahui proses aktivisme digital, proses pendistribusian, hingga transparansi dana dari akun @nctzenhumanity, 4) untuk mengetahui adanya manfaat positif dari interaksi parasosial yang tercermin dari aktivisme digital akun @nctzenhumanity. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya akun @nctzenhumanity dilatarbelakangi oleh semangat sosial dari para member NCT. Selaras dengan Participatory Culture Theory yakni budaya di mana anggotanya percaya bahwa kontribusi mereka penting dan merasakan hubungan sosial satu sama lain. Diharapkan dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan pengetahuan kepada para pembaca tentang interaksi parasosial yang positif bisa memberikan dampak positif pula dalam lingkup sosial, dengan hadirnya aktivisme digital fandom K-pop yang dalam penelitian ini direpresentasikan oleh fandom NCT, NCTzen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditulis dalam kerangka untuk melihat dan mendeskripsikan suatu alternative baru dibidang literasi dan pendidikan, seperti inisiasi perpustakaan jalanan Jakarta Book Hive dalam rangka menumbuhkan minat baca dan pendidikan literasi bagi anak-anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pendirian dan peranan dari Perpustakaan Jalanan, Jakarta Book Hive dan melihat berbagai unsur yang terkandung di dalamnya aktivisme sosial media, kerelawanan, pemanfaatan dan kemungkinan replikasi (pendirian ulang) diberbagai daerah lain dalam rangka peningkatan minat baca dan pendidikan literasi bagi anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang berfokus pada kajian literatur dan observasi digital (media sosial). Teknik pengumpulan data memanfaatkan berbagai informasi yang terekam pada akun sosial media resmi Jakarta Book Hive, akun Instagram: @jakartabookhive. Informasi yang tersaji berupa data yang dibagikan pendiri, pengelola, dan penguna dan berbagai pertanyaan dan komentar nitizen dalam sosial media. Selanjutnya untuk pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian, terkait pendirian, peranan Jakarta Book Hive dalam upaya peningkatan minat baca dan pendidikan literasi menunjukan bahwa inisiatif dan program ini diterima secara positif, bahkan dukungan juga mengalir dari berbagai pihak secara sukarela melalui aktivisme sosial. Keberaradaan Jakarta Book Hive juga terbukti berhasil dalam menumbuhkan minat baca masyarakat dan menyediakan informasi terutama bagi masyarakat sekitar. Besar kemungkinan untuk program ini bisa direplikasi diberbagai daerah lain dengan berbagai penyesuaian sesuai karakter masyarakat dan lingkungan.

Abstract

The Elevating IT Literacy Among Digital Immigrant Teachers in Bandar Lampung aims to improve the digital skills of teachers in Indonesia by empowering teachers to integrate technology into their teaching. The initiative provides tailored training for elementary school teachers to enhance their digital proficiency and use digital tools effectively in their teaching. The transition implementation enhances ICT integration in classroom teaching, improving interactivity, accessibility, student engagement, and learning outcomes. The initiative took place at SDN 3 Sukajawa Bandar Lampung and resulted in a significant improvement in teachers' digital literacy, with a 33% increase. 25% increase in knowledge post-training program. The educational interventions narrowed the digital proficiency gap between educators and tech-savvy students. The program's success is evident in the teachers' enhanced ability to develop and use digital instructional materials, which are essential for creating an engaging learning environment. In the rapidly changing educational landscape, it's crucial to implement programs like this to ensure that teachers can effectively address their students' diverse needs in the digital era.

Abstract

The rise of digital technology has revived engagement between governments and citizens, advancing e-governance with improved communication, transparency, and flexibility. The Sambat Online Program promotes a citizen-centric approach to information services in Malang City which strategies for advancing e-governance in the digital age is considered important. This study aims to analyze challenges, strategies, and propose an actionable framework to improve Malang City's e-governance, with a focus on the Sambat Online Program’s pursuit of citizen-centric information excellence. This study used a qualitative case study approach to examine the program. The results show that the Sambat Online application in Malang City faces organizational challenges and social issues such as lack of leadership, resistance to change, digital divide, digital literacy, and social inclusion needs. Technological challenges occur in terms of cybersecurity, updates, and system scalability. It also found that the Malang City Government needs a user-oriented e-government approach to ensure data security and privacy. In other words, the platform makes it easy for users to submit complaints, increasing citizen involvement in improving public services, however continuous program assessment and improvement are essential. Areas for improvement include improved complaint management, digital training, and strengthened cybersecurity, with a focus on complaint management as the most effective solution. In conclusion, the program enhances communication and comprehension between governing bodies and the public, highlighting its significance in contemporary governance.

Abstract

Abstract: In the contemporary landscape characterized by advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), the profession of librarianship is experiencing a noteworthy transformation, thereby necessitating a re-evaluation and re-branding of the role in order to maintain its relevance. Librarians are transitioning from their traditional role as custodians of physical books to emerging as essential stakeholders in the domains of digital literacy, privacy, and information ethics. They currently fulfill the roles of information strategists, data analysts, and educators, demonstrating proficiency in navigating intricate digital environments. Notwithstanding these advancements, public perception frequently remains outdated, perceiving librarians primarily as engaged in rudimentary administrative activities. This stereotype inhibits the recognition of their extensive contributions to society. Re-branding initiatives center on emphasizing the evolving roles of librarians, which encompass the management of comprehensive digital resources and the promotion of critical information literacy within the context of the artificial intelligence era. The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at the University of Lampung (Unila), in conjunction with the Association of Indonesian Political Science Students (ATPUSI), has commenced the implementation of training programs aimed at facilitating the re-branding efforts of the institution. These initiatives aim to enhance the digital competencies of librarians and transform public perceptions by positioning them as crucial facilitators in the process of knowledge dissemination. The results of the training indicate a significant enhancement in participants' comprehension of personal re-branding, thereby suggesting the efficacy of these initiatives in preparing librarians with the requisite skills for a future increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence.   Keywords: librarian re-branding, artificial intelligence (AI) era, librarian skill improvement.

Abstract

Penelitan ini menganalisis tentang Kebutuhan Literasi Informasi Dan Digital Bagi Masyarakat Di Pekon Podosari Kecamatan Pringsewu Provinsi Lampung. Hal ini penting dengan asumsi bahwa masih kurangnya kecakapan literasi dari masyarakat yang memberikan pelayanan publik karena kurangnya pembinaan dalam bentuk pembekalan literasi, khususnya literasi informasi dan literasi digital. Selain itu keterbatasan sumber daya dari berbagai instansi terkait yang bertanggungjawab terhadap urusan ini menjadi penghalang utama dalam memajukan sumber daya manusia dalam hal kecakapan literasi khususnya untuk wilayah Kecamatan Pringsewu dan lebih luas lagi Kabupatan Pringsewu. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk memberikan gambaran atau penjelasan secara terperinci mengenai kebutuhan literasi informasi dan digital bagi masyarakat di Pekon Podosari Kecamatan Pringsewu Provinsi Lampung. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan melalui kajian literatur. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dan disusun secara sistematis sesuai dengan tema pembahasan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan pengimplementasian konsep akselerasi literasi dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat. Menguasai kecakapan atau kompetensi di bidang teknologi informasi merupakan suatu keharusan dimasa sekarang. Selain sebagai upaya agar dapat beradaptasi dan berkompetisi di era revolusi industri 4.0 dan masyarakat informasi 5.0, hal ini sekaligus sebagai filter agar masyarakat dapat bersikap dewasa dalam berinformasi.

Abstract

Research with the title "Digital Activism Campaign to Encourage Social Engineering for Environmental Hygiene (Case Study on the Instagram Social Media Account @PandawaraGroup)", this research aims to find out how the movement to educate people to care more about the environment initiated by the Pandawara Group can create a waste-free environment by Cleaning up trash has become a form of digital activism in a networked society. This research analysis uses the critical discourse analysis method with a social change approach. Environmental cleanliness is one of the main factors for the survival of life with a clean environment with fresh air. The waste clean-up action carried out by the Pandawara Group started out of concern about seeing floods that often hit their home area. Therefore, Pandawara Group hopes that the action they take can raise public awareness not to litter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang analisis keterampilan literasi informasi yang dimiliki para pendidik di Kabupaten Lampung Timur dalam penyusunan bahan ajar mitigasi bencana untuk meningkatan disaster self-awareness anak usia 5-6 tahun agar menjadi generasi muda yang tangguh bencana. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualititatif dan metode studi kasus, dengan teknik analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Sebanyak 5 orang pendidik PAUD di Kecamatan Labuhan Ratu Kabupaten Lampung Timur menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini. Seluruh proses pengumpulan data secara daring dan luring, dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan covid-19. Melalui penelitian ini diharapkan akan tercapai tujuan khusus berikut ini, yaitu: (1) Memetakan tingkat keterampilan literasi informasi pendidik dalam penyusunan bahan ajar mitigasi bencana yang dapat meningkatkan disaster self-awareness anak usia dini; dan, (2) Menganalisis kebutuhan pendidik dalam menyusun rancangan pembelajaran mitigasi bencana yang dapat meningkatkan disaster self-awareness anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study looks at how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help make health information more accessible to everyone.  By using artificial intelligence, medical information can be made easier to understand and more available to everyone.  The study uses a literature review method.  It carefully chooses articles published from 2020 to 2024 from trusted academic databases like EBSCO, ScienceDirect, and ProQuest.  The articles were chosen based on how relevant they were and the latest developments in using AI for sharing health information.  The results show that AI can effectively translate complex medical words, offer personalized health information, and overcome language barriers using advanced language technology.  Also, AI can help disadvantaged communities by making it easier for them to get health information and by reducing the spread of false information using fact-checking programs.  The study highlights how important interactive AI tools are for getting users involved and shows how these tools can be used for data-driven public health projects.  This study shows that AI can play a big role in creating a fairer and better-informed society.  In conclusion, the study highlights how important it is to think about ethics and to share fair and accurate information.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase knowledge and understanding as well as digital literacy of the Darussa'adah Islamic Boarding School students in Bandar Lampung about the importance of access and adoption of healthy and safe internet technology. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques using surveys. The results of this study indicate that the mastery of the concept of global citizenship by the students still cannot be understood explicitly, so that further understanding of the students is needed. Most of the students of Darussa'adah Islamic Boarding School still do not have digital literacy skills effectively and efficiently. By doing digital literacy, it is expected to be able to better understand and be able to have cognitive, communicative abilities, have the ability in creativity, have self-confidence and have a critical attitude in consuming media so as to avoid hoax and fake news, so that information received through social media can accountable for the truth. The conclusion of this study is the need to provide a set of literacy competencies, especially digital literacy when surfing the internet, including the importance of how to access the internet in a healthy and safe manner for students and a basic understanding of ethics and culture as well as searching for the right information on the internet, so that students can face challenges as global citizenship.
