Abstract

Berdasarkan potensi sumber daya laut dan reputasi yang dimiliki Kabupaten Bintan sebagai pusat produksi kerupuk ikan yang terkenal, maka pengembangan bisnis kerupuk ikan di Kabupaten Bintan memiliki prospek yang menjanjikan. Selain itu, pengembangan bisnis kerupuk ikan di Kabupaten Bintan juga dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian lokal, seperti peningkatan pendapatan dan peningkatan lapangan kerja di sektor perikanan dan kerajinan. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk peningkatan kualitas produk, pemasaran produk, penyediaan laporan keuangan yang dapat menambah nilai jual dari produk yang dihasilkan, sehingga meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga pada sentra industri kerupuk Sei Lekop Kabupaten Bintan. Target kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan dalam membuat packaging yang baik sesuai aturan yang berlaku telah tercapai dapat ditunjukkan dengan partisipasi peserta (Ibu-ibu Sentra kerupuk Sei Lekop Kabupaten Bintan) agar bisa mahir menggunakan alat-alat pembuat kemasan. Untuk selanjutnya target penyusunan laporan finalisasi dan output dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat difinalisasi sesuai jadwal.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build environmental awareness through green organizational culture at sds toan hwa tanjungpinang school. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that SDS Toan Hwa Tanjungpinang has implemented a green organizational culture quite well The implementation of this green organizational culture is carried out through various programs and activities, such as: physically and mentally healthy includes the physical and mental health, of classroom students without using air conditioning to maintain air circulation, facilities that meet health standards including toilets and classrooms, routine sports activities every Wednesday morning, collaborating with health centers for health screening including dental examinations and immunizations, urging parents to provide healthy lunches for children without using disposable packaging such as sterofoam. This research is intended to find out that green organizational culture is an effective strategy to build environmental awareness in schools. The implementation of green organizational culture can increase students' awareness of the environment and encourage them to behave in an environmentally friendly manner

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of brand image, price, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on purchasing decisions of Azarine sunscreen products among students of the Faculty of Economics and Maritime Business, Raja Ali Haji Maritime University. A quantitative approach was used using a survey method involving 93 respondents who had purchased or used the product. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that partially price and e-WOM had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, while brand image did not have a significant effect. However, simultaneously, the three variables significantly influenced purchasing decisions. These findings can be strategic input for companies to improve their marketing strategies, especially in digital communication and brand positioning.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the influence of cashback, flash sale, and free shipping on the purchase intention of FEBM UMRAH students during Shopee’s twin date events. A quantitative approach was used, with the population beng active FEBM UMRAH students who made purchases during the twin date events. A total of 94 respondents were selected using insidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, an the coefficient of determination with SPSS version 26. The resulting regression model is Y = 2,542 + 0,464X1 + 0,686X2 + 0,154X3 + e with and Adjusted R2 of 0,687 or 68,7%. The t-test results indicate that cashback (X1) and flash sale (X2) have a positive and significant effect on purchase intetion, while free shipping (X3) has a positive but not significant effect. The F-test shows that all three variables simultanaeously have a significant effect, with F-valu of 69.095 > F-table 2,71 and significance of 0,000<0,05. Thus, it can be conducted that promotion strategies involving economic incentives and urgency effectively increase students purchase intentions during Shopee’s events

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Business Capital, Entrepreneurial Competence and Income on Business Sustainability of SMEs Actors in Toapaya District, Bintan Regency. The research object in this study is SMEs actors in Toapaya District. The method used in this research is Quantitative Method with data collection techniques using a questionnaire, the sampling technique in this study used Simple Random Sampling. With a population of 213 SMEs players in Toapaya District, the sample in this study was 120 samples. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis so that the results of the study are found, namely Personally, the Business Capital Variable has a positive and significant effect on the Business Continuity of SMEs Actors with a Thitung value (4.608> 1.980), the Entrepreneurial Competency Variable has a positive and significant effect on the business continuity of SMEs  Actors with a Thitung value (2.177> 1.980) and the Income Variable has a positive and significant effect on the Business Continuity of SMEs Actors with a Thitung value (3.990> 1.980). While simultaneously the variables of business capital, entrepreneurial competence and income have a positive and significant effect on the business continuity of SMEs  actors in Toapaya District, Bintan Regency.

Abstract

Produk olahan perikanan memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan sebagai sumber pendapatan sekaligus mendukung ketahanan pangan di wilayah pesisir. Namun, Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) Rezeki di Desa Pengujan, Kabupaten Bintan, masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, antara lain keterbatasan keterampilan dalam menciptakan produk olahan baru, desain kemasan yang kurang menarik, manajemen usaha yang belum tertata, serta rendahnya pemanfaatan media digital untuk promosi. Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada terbatasnya daya saing dan akses pasar produk. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mitra melalui pelatihan teknis pengolahan produk, pembuatan kemasan, manajemen usaha, dan pemasaran digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif, meliputi pelatihan, pendampingan intensif, serta penerapan teknologi pada proses produksi, pengelolaan usaha, dan promosi. Data kegiatan diperoleh melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan evaluasi mutu produk. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas produk, keteraturan pencatatan keuangan, serta intensitas promosi digital. Program ini mampu meningkatkan kompetensi dan daya saing mitra, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi pada pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Population growth and lifestyle changes in Indonesia have led to complex waste management issues, negatively impacting social, health, and environmental sustainability aspects. To address this, a sustainable management approach that actively involves community participation is necessary. The concept of a Waste Bank, based on the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), emerges as a strategic, community-based solution. This community service program aims to encourage active community participation in the Waste Bank program in Tanjung Uban Selatan, Bintan Regency, while supporting the realization of a Smart City based on intelligent and participatory environments. The methodology used is a qualitative approach to gain in-depth understanding. Primary data collection was carried out through interviews, participatory observations, and documentation studies. Key informants were purposively selected from various stakeholders, including Waste Bank administrators, local government representatives, and community members. The results show that, although initially challenging to increase community participation, the program has had a significant positive impact. It successfully shifted the community's view of waste as a valuable economic resource. Quantitatively, this is reflected in stable income from the sale of high-quality inorganic waste, such as metals and electronic waste. The program also led to strategic innovations, including sustainable education, waste savings incentives, social media use, and the "Dasi Umat" empowerment program. The success of this program, strengthened by awards at the district and national levels, makes it a model for sustainable waste management focused on community empowerment and supporting smart city development.

Abstract

Human resources have a major role in an organization or company. All aspects related to human resources in the end also affect performance, especially in relation to employee performance, in this study the authors focus on Employee Compensation and Performance. This study aims to determine empirically the effect of compensation on employee performance at the Jaya Abadi Cooperative. This study uses a population and a sample of 30 employees as respondents. The data collection technique used an online questionnaire with a google form that was sent to the respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The results obtained indicate a real and significant effect of compensation variables on employee performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research discusses the role of BP Batam in developing investment value through promotional activities. Promotional activities carried out are a form of Public Diplomacy. Public Diplomacy is a form of the practice of introducing and marketing a resource to achieve the objectives of the National interest. In this study, it was found that BP Batam in carrying out its role in promoting Batam as an investment target area through public diplomacy has played a good role, but the results received have not been able to be successfully categorized because Batam has not been able to compete with special areas in other countries because there are still many obstacles that become home tasks every year.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of word of mouth, brand awareness and marketing mix strategies on purchasing decisions. The population in this study is all the people of Tanjungpinang City and Bintan Regency, totaling 395,928 people in 2022. Sampling uses a probability sampling technique. The sample in this study were the people of Tanjungpinang-Bintan who had consumed bottled drinking water (AMDK) found in the Tanjungpinang-Bintan area when the questionnaire was distributed. This type of research is quantitative research. Primary research data comes from questionnaires. The data collected and tested using Smart PLS 3 Software. The results of the study found that brand awareness has an effect and is not significant on purchasing decisions and the marketing mix strategy has no effect and is not significant on purchasing decisions. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the influential and significant value is found in the word of mouth variable (X1) on purchasing decisions (Y), obtained a t-statistic value of 3.834 > t-table 1.66 and a p-value of 0.000 < a significance value of 0.05. Based on the results of the determination coefficient test or goodness of fit (R²) a value of 0.369 (36.9%) was obtained, indicating that this research model was moderate because it was able to explain 39.6% of the entire study. While the remaining 60.4% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.
