Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian studi kasus metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah mendapatkan gambaran mengenai kemandirian belajar matematika mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto ketika belajar dalam mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Matematika. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa semester III yang mengambil mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Matematika, program studi Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto yang berjumlah 56 mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapatnya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa inggris matematika melalui model pembelajaran flipped classroom, meningkatkan kemandirian belajar mahasiswa menggunakan konsep flipped classroom, dan pemanfaatan teknologi pada pembelajaran flipped classroom juga memberi dampak positif terkait peran teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana proses pembelajaran menggunakan discovery learning pada mata kuliah Teori Belajar dan Pembelajaran. Selain itu juga pembelajaran yang dilakukan untuk melihat kemampuan penemuan diri (Self invention) mahasiswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian studi kasus metode deskriptif kualitatif (Creswell, 2012; Fraenkel, 2010). Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP (Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan) UMP (Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto). Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan, dimulai dari bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2015. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa semester II yang mengambil mata kuliah Teori Belajar dan Pembelajaran, program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto yang berjumlah 92 mahasiswa. Dari populasi tersebut diambil 1 kelas teori, yaitu kelas IIB berjumlah 46 mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa menggunakan discovery learning mahasiswa mampu mengembangkan kemampuan penemuan diri mereka. Didasarkan dari aspek langkah pengajaran discovery learning, mahasiswa mampu mengikuti pembelajaran dengan maksimal, sedangkan dari observasi kelas didapatkan mahasiswa dapat menyerap dan belajar sebanyak 83%.

Abstract

The aim of this research’s are : 1) giving opportunity for asking the material what given by the lecturer, 2) giving the alternative how to solve the problem, 3) giving the stimulus of the student for show and understanding the idea, 4) giving the opportunity for see and find the giving solution of problem and 5) giving the stimulus to take the resk. This research is use the Problem Solving Education for increasing the creativity of study math in Mathematic subject in Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. And the result of this research’s are : 1) Reaching the knowledge of understanding the material of mathematic, 2) have the skill of show their suggestion and respecting some suggestion of their friends, 3) have the knowledge to see and problem solving to do the exercise of mathematic, 4) have the ability of showing their suggestion, and 5) have the ability to take a resk and improving their ability for solving some problems in mathematic it self.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are encouraging students’ creativity by mystery box games and become more aware of their mathematical thinking. The situational problem as the starting point helps students to relate what they learn to problems in daily life, and construct and interpret geometry that are related to real situations, and this helps to correct their alternative conceptions in geometry courseto encourage students’ creativity in Geometry Course. There are three abilities to encouraging students’creativity, they are synthetic ability, analytic ability, and practical ability. The subjects of this research is the students of the 1st semester of 2014 academic year class A of mathematical education of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia. The data of this research is through observation sheet, recording videos, portofolios, and questionnaires. Those data was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. This study shows that to encouraging students’ creativity can analyzed by mystery box in Geometry Course.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk pembelajaran kontekstual matematika yang menekankan religiusitas peserta didik dan menghasilkan produk pengembangan pembelajaran kontekstual matematika yang menekankan religiusitas peserta didik yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Pengembangan pembelajaran difokuskan pada Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dan juga pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang membantu keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran, yaitu buku panduan guru (BPG), lembar kerja siswa (LKS), dan lembar projek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan produk pengembangan memenuhi kriteria valid yang dinyatakan oleh para dosen ahli, kepraktisan yang dilihat dari  kepraktisan guru terhadap perangkat pembelajaran dan kepraktisan peserta didik terhadap pemanfaatan LKS, projek, dan penilaian diri, kriteria keefektifan yang dihasilkan oleh penilaian masing-masing LKS, observasi dan penilaian diri yang menghasilkan nilai (skor) tuntas. Oleh karena itu bisa disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual matematika yang menekankan religiusitas peserta didik memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif.Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran kontekstual matematika, religiusitas Development of Mathematics Contextual Learning Models on Junior High School at 9TH Grade Focusing on Students’ Religiousity AbstractThe research aimed at developing mathematics contextual learning focusing on students’ religiousity, and producing effective, valid, and practical product on the development on mathematics contextual learning focusing on students’ religiousity. This study  belongs  to developmental research. The development of the learning focused on development procedure which produces development product, the development product consists of some education instruments such as lesson plan, guide book for teachers, students’ worksheets, and self assessment, and an assessment for development product which used research instruments. The results of the research showed the products meet the characteristic of valid by the experts, practical aspects from teacher practical sheets towards learning product and  students practical sheet towards the product, and effective aspects that shown by the result of assessing students’ worksheets , observation sheet, and self assessment to students. Therefore learning contextual mathematics focusing on students religiousity was effective. It can be concluded that this research meet valid, practical, and effective criteria.Key words : mathematics contextual learning model, religiousity

Abstract

This study aims to describe the understanding of geometry based on the level of Van Hiele in terms of spatial intelligence in class X MA Al Hidayah 1 Purwareja Klampo. In the study divided into 3 groups: students who have high, low and medium spatial intelligence. The instruments used to collect data are tests, interviews, and documentation. The validation test used is technical triangulation, comparing the test results and the results of student interviews. The results of this study indicate that: 1) students who have high spatial intelligence are able to reach the level of the third level of van hiele (Understanding Deduction). 2) students who have spatial intelligence are able to reach the level of the second level van hiele (Informal Deduction). 3) students who have low spatial intelligence are able to reach evel van hiele stage 1 (Analysis).

Abstract

Flipped classroom is a learning model that uses exciting technology that commonly used in everyday life. Therefore students are expected to learn independently and can change the negative paradigm of technology itself. The purpose of this study is to get an idea of ​​how the application of Flipped Classroom learning model in Mathematics Education students of University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto in Mathematics Bi-Lingual subject. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa semester 1 program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto melalui pembelajaran GAB (Geometri Analitik Bidang) yang termodifikasi dengan teori Dienes dan Van Hiele. Kemampuan representasi matematis merupakan kemampuan untuk mengungkapkan gagasan atau ide-ide matematika dalam upaya untuk mencari suatu solusi dari masalah yang sedang dihadapi. Oleh karena itu, dengan merepresentasikan idenya mahasiswa akanmengalami kemudahan dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan matematika. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah model pembelajaran yang termodifikasi dengan teori belajar Dienes dan teori belajar Van Hiele. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 1 kelas A program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Sedangkan objek penelitian adalah seluruh proses dan hasil pembelajaran matematika dengan penerapan pembelajaran yang termodifikasi Dienes dan Van hiele untuk mengetahui deskripsi kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa di kelas tersebut. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar observasi kemampuan representasi matematis, pedoman wawancara, dan tes kemampuan representasi matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pembelajaran yang telah dirancang oleh dosen model dan para dosen observer telah dapat memunculkan kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa. Dari hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Geometri Analitik Bidang yang telah dimodifikasi dengan teori belajar Dienes dan Van Hiele dapat membantu perkembangan kemampuan representasi matematis mahasiswa. Pengembangan pembelajaran dilakukan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pada mahasiswa. Kata Kunci: kemampuan representasi matematis, pembelajaran GAB, teori Dienes, teori Van Hiele ABSTRACT This study aimed to describe the ability of a mathematical representation of first semester students of Mathematics Education courses through learning Muhammadiyah University Purwokerto GAB (Analytic Geometry Field) modified with Dienes and Van Hiele theory. Mathematical representation capability is the ability to express ideas or mathematical ideas in an effort to find a solution to the problem at hand. Therefore, to represent the idea of students akanmengalami ease in completing a math problem. Learning model used is a modified model of learning with learning theory and learning theory Dienes Van Hiele. The subjects were students of first semester of grade A Mathematics Education courses Muhammadiyah University Purwokerto. While the research object is the whole process and the learning outcomes of learning mathematics with application of modified Dienes and Van hiele to know the description of the mathematical representation ability of students in the class. The research instrument is observation sheet feasibility study, a mathematical representation capability observation sheet, interview, and test the ability of mathematical representation. The results showed that the learning that has been designed by professors and lecturers observer models have been able to raise the ability of the student mathematical representation. From the results and discussion in this study it can be concluded that learning in courses Analytic Geometry field that has been modified with learning theory and Van Hiele Dienes can help the development of a mathematical representation of student ability. Abstract

Kecerdasan Spasial adalah kemampuan untuk melihat dan mengamati dunia spasial secara cermat. Spasial adalah suatu hal yang berkenaan dengan ruang atau tempat dengan melibatkan kesadaran akan warna, garis, bentuk, bidang, ruang, ukuran, dan juga hubungan di antara elemen-elemen tersebut. Oleh karena itu, dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kolaboratif diharapkan mahasiswa dapat dengan mudah menyelesaikan masalah yang terkait dengan mata kuliah Geometri Analitik Bidang dengan menggunakan kecerdasan spasial mereka dalam pembelajaranya di kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 1 kelas A program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. Abstract

Digital skills for the twenty-first century are comprise of four fundamental capabilities: cognition abilities; process capabilities; systems capabilities; and social skills. Using one's ability to think creatively to demonstrate cognitive abilities can be very effective. On the other hand, critical thinking is a skill that can be developed at the university level and is used to transform raw data into meaningful information. Furthermore, the study purpose is investigate the relationship the entrepreneurial skills in students in the world of education, both in terms of educational and economic issues. Researchers are looking into the relative importance of creative thinking (CRE), critical thinking (CRI), and entrepreneurial skills (ETS) as primary predictors of success when it comes to learning and mastering skills in the technologically advanced development society (TCDS). In this study, which takes a quantitative approach, a cross-sectional survey gathers data. In order to analyze the relationship formed by CRE, CRI, and ETS among university students in TCDS, we used the structural equation model (SEM) method. In this study, 85 students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, and 315 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto participated, for a total of 315 students. The following research procedures were used in this investigation: (3) The relationship between CRE, CRI, and ETS was determined using a Structural Equation Model (SEM). In addition, the findings of this study include the following points: The EFA and CFA analysis revealed that the CRE construct contained four valid sub-constructs, while the CRI and ETS constructs each contained five valid sub-constructs. The results of the SEM analysis revealed a statistically significant relationship between CRE, CRI, and ETS, with a moderately significant relationship between CRE and ETS ( = 0,291), as well as a statistically significant relationship between CRI and ETS ( = 0,143). The correlation between CRE and CRI, on the other hand, was found to be high ( = 0.894). Finally, demonstrate that the CRE, CRI, and ETS have played a role in improving the performance of university students during the TCDS era.
