Abstract

This study focuses on inquiry-based teaching and learning (IN), emphasizing the development of students' self-efficacy (SEDU), self-concept (PP), and information and communication technology literacy (TIK). Students are encouraged to prioritize the learning process over grades or competition, to develop a sense of competence and autonomy, and to focus on broader skill development rather than purely technical objectives. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the performance of SEDU, PP, and TIK within an IN framework. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design was employed to collect and analyze data. This study investigates the relationships among SEDU, PP, TIK, and IN. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire, and the relationships between these variables were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The sample consisted of 631 elementary school teachers and 224 mathematics education students from the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, Indonesia. The analysis revealed statistically significant interactions among SEDU, PP, TIK, and IN. Additionally, SEDU was identified as a moderating factor in the interaction between PP, TIK, and IN. These findings suggest that SEDU has the potential to enhance classroom enrichment in IN settings for students with high levels of PP and TIK. This study contributes to the existing literature on instructional feedback and inquiry-based learning by providing recommendations for fostering effective IN classrooms. Specifically, it highlights the importance of enhancing students' technological competencies and personal growth to maximize the benefits of inquiry-based education.

Abstract

Teachers play a more significant role as a symbol of teaching success. Teachers who hold a more potential digital literacy in education teach mathematics with patterns and procedures, leading to practical teaching mathematics. Influential digital literacy and higher thinking are not possible when teachers do not use technology to understand the concept of mathematics. Therefore, teachers are required to improve their technical abilities and higher thinking in mathematics learning. This research used a cross-sectional quantitative research. This research uses statistical analysis of the Kaiser Meyer-Oikin Test (KMO) and the Barlett's Test to obtain exploratory factor analysis. Subsequently, the analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model with Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS). The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the relationship between higher thinking skills and digital literacy. The review discoveries show that teachers' digital literacy has a more significant impact on the use of technology in the classroom, and teachers' higher thinking in the role of technology will encourage teachers to use more technology in their practical teaching. Teachers need to broaden their perspectives on the ability and quality of mathematics teaching that is more easily changed by changing practical instruction in the classroom. One of the reasons mathematics teachers still apply traditional teachings is the lower thinking and low level of digital literacy. Teachers are not capable of teaching the concept of mathematics with technology to students.

Abstract

The difficulty that teachers in Indonesia face is delivering engaging lectures to raise the level of academic accomplishment among their students. Incorporating elements of the game into the educational process is one way this can be accomplished. A platform such as Kahoot! gamification may be applied to the learning process in an effective and engaging manner. The purpose of this research is to evaluate Kahoot as a learning approach that is both helpful and enjoyable for students in Indonesia, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analysis of quantitative data was involved in this investigation. The enlisted participants were 242 students. The findings of this research can be applied to the question of whether or not Kahoot! should be utilized as a teaching strategy that incorporates gamification elements to raise students' academic accomplishment. Also, one of the potential solutions to the post-pandemic would be incorporating parts of gaming into the instructional process.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the help of diagram magnet board media (Panetagram). This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects caused by the lack of variety in learning methods. The uniqueness of this research lies in the integration of the Problem Based Learning model with the magnetic board diagram (panetagram) media in collaborative mathematics learning. This research is important to provide contextual solutions to the problem of low learning outcomes at the elementary school level, as well as contribute to the development of active and collaborative learning models. This research was conducted at the partner school during the implementation of PPL II, namely at SD Negeri 3 Sokanegara. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Data collection methods used test techniques (evaluation questions), non-test techniques (teacher activity observation sheets and student activity observation sheets), and documentation. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Sokanegara with a total of 30 students. The results showed an increase in students' math learning outcomes which can be seen from the results of the average score in cycle I 71.33 with a completion percentage of 53%. Math learning outcomes in cycle II obtained an average score of 87 with a completion percentage of 70%. The learning outcomes of cycle III obtained an average score of 98.67 with a percentage of 100% completeness with very good criteria. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by the magnet board diagram (panetagram) media was very effective in improving the learning outcomes of mathematics class IV SD Negeri 3 Sokanegara in 2024/2025.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze strategies for strengthening character education at SD Negeri Planjan 01 Kesugihan that are relevant to be applied to elementary school children in an effort to build a generation with noble character. Character education at the elementary school level has a fundamental role in laying the foundation for moral and ethical values for the further development of students. This study uses a qualitative approach through a literature review of various studies and related concepts. The data collection instruments in this study used questionnaires, observations and documentation and were then analyzed. The analysis includes the integration of character values in the curriculum, positive behavioral habits, utilization of learning media, the role of role models, and the potential for implementing innovative character education concepts. The subjects in this study included students, teachers and parents of students at SD Negeri Planjan 01 Kesugihan.Based on the results of initial observations conducted, there are still many students who show bad behavior, such as lack of manners in speaking with friends and teachers, and frequent disharmony during class hours. In the context of character education, the role of teachers is very important as idolized figures, as well as being a source of inspiration and motivation. The teacher's attitude and behavior will be very memorable for a student, so that the character, speech, and personality of the teacher become a reflection of the student. Teachers who are worthy of being role models, character education will be easy to build in an educational institution or school. Development in character formation requires exemplary behavior that is transmitted, intervention through the learning process, training, continuous habituation in the long term that is carried out continuously and reinforcement, and must be balanced with noble values.

Abstract

This study evaluated the quality of test items in the Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) Final Summative Assessment (ASAT) for Grade 6 students at SDN Kutasari 03 Cipari, Cilacap Regency. Using ANATES software, 25 multiple-choice and 10 essay questions were analyzed from a sample of 5 students. The analysis focused on reliability, discriminating power, difficulty level, and distractor effectiveness. Results revealed high reliability for multiple-choice questions (0.72) and very high reliability for essay questions (0.93). For multiple-choice items, 48% demonstrated good discriminating power, 32% had balanced difficulty levels, and 40% showed significant correlations with total scores. Among essay questions, 60% exhibited good discriminating power, and all items had moderate difficulty levels. Based on these findings, several test items require revision to enhance assessment quality in the Physical Education subject, particularly focusing on improving discriminating power and difficulty balance for optimal student evaluation.
