Abstract

Geometry is a part of mathematics that students must learn. Spatial ability as a basic ability that students must have to learn more geometry. The realistic mathematical approach provides horizontal processing towards formal understanding. The purpose of this study is to interpret the characteristics of students' spatial abilities during learninggeometry through a realistic mathematical approach in terms of APOS Theory. This research uses quantitative qualitative and descriptive methods. The focus of this research is to explore students' spatial abilities after learning geometry through a realistic approach in understanding geometry concepts reviewed from APOS (Action-Process-Object-Schema) Theory. To comply with the COVID-19 health protocol, the implementation of learning was carried out online with as many as 30 students in the Mathematics Education Program in Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. This study also has exploratory characteristics. The researcher acts as a teacher as well as the main instrument in this study. Researchers use spatial ability test instruments to explore qualitative data. The test result data is used as the basis for determining the research subjects to be interviewed in depth to explore students' spatial abilities during geometry learning through a realistic mathematical approach. The subjects of this study were three students selected from three categories of test results, namely the high, medium and low groups of one person each. Interviews of subjects were conducted using whatsapp media via video call. These interviews are recorded to obtain complete and accurate data. Research data are analyzed through genetic decomposition analysis (description of their actions, objects, processes, schemes, and relationships that individuals have for concepts and principles in spatial geometry). The result of this study was that it was found that students had a mature scheme about the properties of building space. He was able to perform the tematization of objects about the diagonal of the plane and the diagonal of space can be represented in good mental activity, he was a student of the trance level. Inter students are able to carry out action-process-object-and schematic activities, but the embedding is incomplete. Intra students are able to do perceptions of space, but are unable to do interiorization and encapsulation so they fail to solve the given problem. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in the spatial understanding of students who are taught through a realistic mathematical approach. There are three levels of students' spatial ability after learning geometry through a realistic mathematical approach. Those are the trance level, the inter level and the lowest intra level.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di pendidikan tinggi Indonesia menghadapi banyak tantangan yang unik dan kompleks karena budaya akademik tidak mendorong pemikiran kritis dan eksplorasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki dan mengevaluasi desain pembelajaran scaffolding yang menggunakan media digital untuk 58 mahasiswa di Universitas PGRI Silampari. Model pengembangan 4 D terdiri dari Definisi (Pendefinisian), Desain (Desain), Pengembangan (Pengembangan), dan Penyebaran (Penyebaran). Untuk menganalisis data, uji komparatif (uji t) digunakan. Hasil penelitian tahap design dilakukan perancangan model pembelajaran scaffolding berbantuan media digital pada pengembangan aktivitas pembelajaran yang memberikan dukungan bertahap kepada mahasiswa. Pada tahap develop diperoleh hasil validasi ahli dengan rata-rata penilaian 88.28%. Hasil efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen memiliki hasil belajar rata-rata 5.86, lebih tinggi dari kelompok kontrol, yang hanya memiliki 5.47. Hasil uji sampel t-test independen menunjukkan signifikansi yang sangat tinggi (Sig. 2-tailed = 0.358 > 0.05). Laporan penelitian, publikasi, dan seminar menyebarkan temuan. Penelitian ini menemukan cara untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa tentang pembelajaran scaffolding dengan media digital. Penelitian ini juga membantu mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbasis teknologi digital untuk scaffolding

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of mathematics learning with the Problem Based Learning Model using a tourism context. Data collection was carried out using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The steps are research questions, selection criteria, develop search strategies, select studies, the quality of studies, synthesis results related to mathematics learning that are relevant to this study. 12 relevant articles from 40 articles used in this study were obtained from Publish or Perish, Google, Google Scholar. Based on the 12 selected articles, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model in mathematics learning with a tourism context has a positive impact on students' understanding. The use of a tourism context allows students to be more involved and motivated in the learning process, and helps them relate mathematical concepts to real situations around them. This also shows an increase in critical thinking skills and conceptual understanding among students.

Abstract

Riemann Geometry is a difficult elective for students. The ethnomathematics approach is one way to make it easier for students to learn geometry. The aim of this research is to produce a learning theory for Introduction to Riemann Geometry through an ethnomathematics learning approach that is valid. This research method applies a research design. There are three stages, namely Preliminary Research; Prototype, and the last is the Assessment Stage. The results of this research are that the learning and its tools are valid based on validation by seven experts. In conclusion, the initial design of the learning theory for Riemann Geometry is very valid.

Abstract

Penggunaan media pembelajaran daring liveworksheet telah menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam era digital saat ini. Namun, guru matematika Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) masih kurangn mampu dalam mengolah materi pelajaran matematika menjadi format digital yang interaktif. Tujuan workshop ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru matematika MI dalam menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran daring, khususnya platform liveworksheet. Workshop media pembelajaran daring berbantuan liveworksheet untuk guru matematika MI dilaksanakan dengan metode yang komprehensif dan interaktif. Kegiatan ini menggabungkan berbagai pendekatan untuk memastikan pemahaman dan penguasaan materi oleh peserta. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa workshop media pembelajaran daring berbantuan liveworksheet untuk guru matematika MI telah menghasilkan berbagai dampak positif. Para peserta menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran daring, khususnya platform liveworksheet. Ada peningkatan rata-rata 75% dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan menggunakan liveworksheet untuk pembelajaran matematika daring.

Abstract

Himpunan Mahasiswa Perguruan Tinggi (HIMA) adalah organisasi mahasiswa untuk menyalurkan minat, bakat, aspirasi, dan kegiatan mereka. UMKM Kampus (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah di lingkungan kampus) merujuk pada inisiatif dan usaha bisnis yang dikelola oleh mahasiswa, dosen, atau bagian dari komunitas kampus. UMKM kampus dapat berfokus pada berbagai bidang, mulai dari makanan dan minuman, jasa, teknologi, hingga produk kreatif. Tujuan utama dari UMKM kampus adalah untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan, menyediakan sumber pendapatan tambahan, dan memberikan pengalaman praktis bagi mahasiswa dan komunitas kampus. Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memainkan peran penting dalam perekonomian, tetapi seringkali menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan data bisnis yang efisien. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi berbasis web mobile, pengolahan data dapat menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kinerja dan efisiensi operasional UMKM. Himpunan Mahasiswa Ilmu Komputer (HIMALKOM) berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan UMKM dalam mengadopsi teknologi pengolahan data berbasis web mobile. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat peneliti akan menerapkan Metode Prototype yang digunakan dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak dimana metode ini tidak hanya sekedar evolusi dalam dunia pengembangan perangkat lunak, tetapi juga merevolusi metode pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan menggunakan metode SDLC, dengan menerapkan sistem pengolahan data UMKM HIMALKOM untuk peningkatan kinerja dan efisiensi bisnis berbasis web mobile.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas Model Discovery Learning (DL) berban-tuan media Scratch dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika, khususnya pada materi bangun ruang. Penelitian menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis 15 artikel jurnal yang diperoleh dari Google Scholar. Artikel yang dipilih berkaitan de-ngan penerapan Discovery Learning dan penggunaan media Scratch dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model Discovery Learning berbantuan media Scratch mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika peserta didik. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi model pembelajaran yang interaktif dengan media yang menarik dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan minat belajar peserta didik. Selain itu, media Scratch terbukti efektif dalam membantu peserta didik memahami konsep bangun ruang secara visual dan interaktif. Simpulan dari kajian ini adalah bahwa penerapan Model Discovery Learning berbantuan media Scratch dapat menjadi solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika dan menarik minat peserta didik, sehingga relevan untuk diterapkan dalam pembelajaran matematika.   Discovery learning model assisted by Scratch media on space building materials   Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning (DL) model assisted by Scratch media in improving mathematics learning outcomes, particularly on solid geometry topics. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by identifying and analyzing 15 journal articles retrieved from Google Scholar. The selected articles are related to the implementation of Discovery Learning and the use of Scratch media in mathematics learning. The findings indicate that the Discovery Learning model assisted by Scratch media can enhance students' mathematics learning outcomes. These findings demonstrate that the combination of an interactive learning model with engaging media can increase students' active participation and learning interest. Additionally, Scratch media proved effective in helping students understand solid geometry concepts visually and interactively. The conclusion of this review is that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model assisted by Scratch media can serve as an innovative solution to improve mathematics learning outcomes and attract students' interest, making it relevant for application in mathematics education.

Abstract

This service aims to improve elementary school teachers' ability to develop initial assessment instruments (IAI) for differentiated mathematics learning through the Merdeka curriculum in elementary schools. This service was given to teachers at SD Negeri 2 Muara Beliti, Lubuklinggau, Indonesia. Training is carried out using hybrid learning. The result of this service was that 95% of teachers responded very positively and liked this workshop and only 1 (one) participant said it was normal. Participants improved their abilities in compiling and applying IAI. The conclusion is that the workshop using the Peer Assisted Learning Strategies (PALS) method in differentiated learning concluded that it could improve the ability of SD Negeri 2 Muara Beliti teachers to compile and implement IAI through differentiated learning in the independent curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and systematically analyze ethnomathematics-based E-Module learning on matrix material. The method used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data collection and analysis carried out using the SLR method are formulating research problems, literature search, screening inclusion and exclusion criteria, quality assessment, data collection, analyzing data and describing studies. The use of the SLR method is carried out to review and identify journal articles systematically, each process of which follows predetermined steps. Of the 40 articles used, there were only 5 articles that were relevant to this research and explained the need for ethnomathematics-based E-Module teaching materials on matrix materials that can be used as an effort to know and understand students' ability to understand basic mathematical concepts and be able to implement technology in each learning process. So that the use of ethnomathematics-based E-Modules on matrix material is able to have a positive influence on the learning process of students, because it is able to increase understanding, involvement, and relevance of mathematical concepts to everyday life and student culture.
