Abstract

The activities of study proces is the main activity in the lecture. The success of the lectures will be achieved if active learning activities. Active learning activities require students actively involved in learning. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to increase the activ ity of students and student's understanding of mathematics on basic chemistry courses through the application of problem based learning. The subjects of these studies amounted to 16 people. The data in this study was obtained by observation and tests. The results of this study indicate that the application of problem based learning can increase activity of students of 27.6%, of the criteria enough active being active. Understanding of students on the basic chemical courses also increased by 41%, from 44 percentage of learning completeness 41 % to 85%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the learning outcomes of students in MTS NegeriPamenang Integrated Science learning, most of them are still under the classicalKKM set by the school, this shows that the Integrated Science learning process hasnot run optimally. This study aimed to improve Integrated Science learningoutcomes for grade VII MTS N Pamenang students with the application of SPICS(Student Centered, Problem Based, Interest and Confident and Satisfaction)learning models, in class VII MTS N Pamenang in the 2018/2019 school year. Thietype of research was classroom action research, where the subjects in this studywere students of class VII MTS N Pamenang consisted of to 28 people, while theobject in this study was SPICS Learning Model (Student Centered, Problem Based ,Interest, Confident and Satisfaction). The procedure in this study consisted of thestages of planning, implementing actions, observation and evaluation andreflection. Data collection form of student and teacher activity observation sheetsand evaluation test used. Students have received grades according to the KKM,meaning that action research in the second cycle has achieved a minimum target of75% achievement of students achieving KKM. Based on the research resultsobtained in the first cycle the average test score of 73.03 cycle with a percentageof completeness 64% or 19 students who graduated according to the defined KKMthat is 75 in the second cycle found that student learning outcomes increased to77.57. Based on the data analysis, the research can be concluded that by usingSPICS (Student Centered, Problem Based, Interest, Confident and Satisfaction)learning models, it can improve the learning outcomes of class VII MTS NPamenang in the 2018/2019 school year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) untuk mendapatkan produk berupa alat peraga yang valid dan praktis yang dapat digunakan dalam mengajarkan materi logika matematika (2) melihat efek potensial alat peraga terhadap keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran logika matematika.  (3) melihat efek potensial alat peraga terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran logika matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (development research). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 2 Palembang sebanyak 39 orang. Pengumpulan data berupa  observasi, dan tes. Semua data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data menyimpulkan bahwa (1) penelitian ini telah menghasilkan produk berupa alat peraga yang valid dan praktis. (2) alat peraga   yang dikembangkan memiliki efek potensial yang positif terhadap keaktifan, dan (3) alat peraga tersebut memiliki efek positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa , hal ini terlihat dengan adanya korelasi yang cukup positif antara keaktifan dengan hasil belajar, dan nilai ketuntasan siswa mencapai  78,38 %   Kata kunci  :  Penelitian Pengembangan, Alat Peraga Rangkaian Listrik Sseri-Paralel, Logika Matematika

Abstract

Cooking oil that has been used will become used oil or used cooking oil. If this used cooking oil is reused continuously, it will have a negative impact on the health of the body and if it is disposed of carelessly it will pollute the environment. Used cooking oil needs to be minimized through recycle or reduce. Environmental pollution caused by used cooking oil has become an environmental problem with a wide impact. One solution to overcome this problem is to process used cooking oil as an alternative material for making aromatherapy candles. The type of community service applied is in the form of training. Methods The activities carried out using experimental methods and direct practice on how to make aromatherapy candles using used cooking oil. From the results of this community service activity, it was concluded that the increased knowledge of class X students of SMKN 10 Merangin regarding the impact of the use and disposal of used cooking oil on the environment and increased student skills regarding the manufacture of recycled products from used cooking oil in the form of aromatherapy candles.

Abstract

Mathematics tutoring is motivated by children's low motivation and mathematical abilities. Tutoring is an activity provided by experts to help individuals face and solve problems related to learning. Therefore, this service activity aims to increase motivation to learn mathematics from an early age. The hope is that if the motivation to learn is good, then the learning results will also be good. The service activity involved 31 people. The method used is collaborative learning. Where students discuss in groups to solve mathematical problems. The result of this program is that students seemed more enthusiastic about learning during the activity. This is reflected in when doing the homework given by the teacher, students are more enthusiastic. At the end of the activity, students are given questions to measure the success of the tutoring activity. Of the 31 people, there were 87% of students with learning results above 75. Apart from that, students admitted that with tutoring activities students were more motivated in learning mathematics. Consequently, it can be concluded that tutoring activities can foster learning motivation and overcome difficulties in understanding mathematics. The impact of this activity is that the students are motivated to learn mathematics so that it can improve their performance and score.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya pengembangan buku saku berorientasi crossword puzzle pada materi sistem ekskresi kelas XI SMA Negeri 13 Merangin. Mengingat pembelajaran yang telah dilaksanakan selama ini masih menggunakan buku teks. Guru belum mengembangkan buku saku sebagai bahan bacaan/belajar yang mudah dibawa dan dibaca dimana saja. Untuk itu, dilakukan penelitian dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan buku saku dan mengembangkan buku saku berorientasi crossword puzzle padamateri sistem ekskresi kelas XI SMA Negeri 13 Merangin yang valid dan praktis. Metode pengembangan menggunakan metode R&D dengan model 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap define (pendefinisian), design (perencangan), develop (pengembangan), disseminate (penyebaran). Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 orang validator, untuk uji praktikalitas dilakukan oleh 1 orang guru Biologi dan 23 orang siswa kelas XI SMA N 13 Merangin. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket yang disusun menurut skala likert. Data dari penelitian ini adalah hasil validitas dan praktikalitas buku saku. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dihasilkan produk berupa buku saku berorientasi crossword puzzle pada materi sistem ekskresi. Produk yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid oleh validator baik dari aspek kalayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikan dengan nilai validitas rata-rata 88%. Produk juga dinyatakan praktis oleh guru sedangkan oleh siswa dinyatakan sangat praktis baik dari aspek kemudahan pengunaan, waktu pembelajaran dan daya tarik dengan nilai rata-rata 3,44 oleh guru dan 3,71 oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, buku saku berorientasi crossword puzzle sudah dapat dinyatakan valid dan praktis.

Abstract

Pencegahan rehospitalisasi terkait PPOK merupakan prioritas di dunia untuk memperlambat progresi penyakit. Pengontrol gejala PPOK yaitu kombinasi ICS/LABA sering digunakan, diantaranya adalah inhalasi budesonid/formoterol fumarat dan flutikason propionat/salmeterol xinafoat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian inhalasi budesonid/formoterol fumarat terhadap kejadian rehospitalisasi pasien terkait PPOK dalam 6 bulan jika dibandingkan dengan inhalasi flutikason propionat/salmeterol xinafoat. Penelitian observasional dengan desain kohort retrospektif ini mengggunakan sampel data RM pasien post-ranap RS Paru Respira periode KRS 1 Januari 2019-31 Desember 2020. Pengaruh penggunaan kedua obat inhalasi terhadap kejadian rehospitalisasi terkait PPOK dalam 6 bulan setelah KRS dianalisis dengan survival analysis Kaplan-Meier test. Pengaruh variabel perancu terhadap outcome dianalisis dengan Cox Proportional Hazard Model. Pada penelitian diperoleh sebanyak 190 sampel yang terbagi dalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok inhalasi Bud/Form (n=95) dan kelompok inhalasi FP/Salm (n=95).  Hasil survival analysis menunjukkan persentase yang lebih besar pada inhalasi Bud/Form (87,4%) dibanding pada inhalasi FP/Salm (83,2%) namun tidak berbeda bermakna (p value 0,442). Analisis multivariat dengan melibatkan pengaruh variabel perancu menunjukkan penurunan hazard namun tidak bermakna pada penggunaan inhalasi Bud/Form dibanding FP/Salm (HR 0,689; 95% CI 0,313-1,517; sig. 0,355). Sebagai kesimpulan, persentase ketahanan terhadap rehospitalisasi terkait PPOK dalam 6 bulan pada penggunaan inhalasi budesonid/formoterol fumarat lebih besar dibanding pada penggunaan inhalasi flutikason propionat/salmeterol xinafoat tanpa beda bermakna. Kedua sediaan inhalasi ICS/LABA tersebut tetap dapat direkomendasikan sebagai terapi pengontrol pada pasien dengan PPOK.

Abstract

Analgesics are drugs that selectively reduce pain in the central nervous system or peripheral pain mechanisms without significantly changing consciousness. This study aims to determine the analgesic activity of a combination of dry extracts of meniran leaves (Phyllanthus niruri l.) and moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera l.) against Swiss Webster rats with chemical induction methods. This research proves the presence of secondary metabolite content in the dry extract of meniran leaves and moringa leaves which have analgesic activity. The research used 30 male Swiss Webster rats divided into 5 groups. Group 1 is the negative control (CMC-Na 0.5%), group 2 is the positive control (diclofenac Na), group 3 (Dry extract of meniran leaves), group 4 (Dry extract of moringa leaves) and Group 5 (Combination of dry extracts). meniran and moringa leaves). Each was given 1 mL of 1% acetic acid induction chemical stimulation, then the writhing response was observed and recorded at 5-minute intervals for 30 minutes. The results showed that the K3 group combined dry extract of meniran leaves (Phyllanthus niruri L.) and moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera L) is not statistically significantly different from the positive control diclofenac sodium, p-value = 0.183. In conclusion, dry extract of meniran leaves (Phyllanthus niruri L.) and Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera L.) has been proven to contain secondary metabolites of flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, and saponins which have analgesic activity.

Abstract

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS), 2021 reported that the majority of unemployment in Indonesia comes from the Vocational High School (SMK) graduate group. The unemployed population with the final education level of SMK reached 11.13% in August 2021. Most SMK graduates want to work immediately, but are not absorbed in the business world and the industrial world. The problem raised in this study is that there are still many alumni of SMK Unggul Negeri 2 Banyuasin III who have not been absorbed in the dudika. The purpose of this study was to determine the number of alumni of SMK Unggul Negeri 2 Banyuasin III who were absorbed and not absorbed in the dudika. This type of research includes qualitative research with the research approach used is the effectiveness approach developed by Richard M. Steer including research, input, process, and product. the effectiveness of the special labor exchange in channeling alumni of smk unggul negeri 2 banyuasin 3 to the business world, the industrial world and the world of work (dudika) has been effective as evidenced by an increase in the absorption of alumni in dudika. from the tracer study obtained data on alumni of smk unggul negeri 2 banyuasin 3 for 2020 alumni who work are: 12/69 = 17,3 %. Data for 2021 which alumni who work are 12/69 = 17.3% and 22/169 = 13.0%, data for 2022 alumni who work are: 22/69 = 31.8% - 44/169 = 26.0%, and 52/184 = 29.3%. Based on the data above, the percentage of alumni who work has increased.
