Abstract

Fertility is the result of female reproduction. Fertility is a term that describes the number of children born alive. The large number of children born in Indonesia is one of the causes of rapid population growth. The high birth rate is influenced by many factors, one of which is education. The education received by both parents greatly influences the thoughts of both wives and husbands in having children because parents who have higher education tend to be more open-minded. Their minds are more rational so they will take everything into account before acting. This research aims to find out how parents' education influences their choice in the number of children they want to have. The research method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through literature study. Researchers collect data through articles and journals which are then read and studied. The results of this research are that education is a factor that has a very significant influence on fertility or birth, especially the wife's education which determines the amount of fertility. Meanwhile, for husband's education, husband's education does not have much influence on fertility.

Abstract

This study explores the factors influencing Indonesian community participation in the labor force, employing a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through literature review. Although Indonesia possesses significant human resource potential that could support economic growth and compete globally, employment issues remain a substantial challenge. Despite the increasing number of people entering the working age, the availability of job opportunities has not kept pace, leading to an imbalance between labor supply and demand. This research identifies three key factors affecting active labor force participation: unemployment, education, and minimum wage. The study is relevant to the Labor Demand Theory, which explains how imbalances in the labor market affect workforce decisions. By understanding these factors, it is hoped that the government can formulate effective policies to create new job opportunities and support economic growth and community well-being more comprehensively. This research aims to provide useful insights for policy-making that could enhance labor force participation and address employment issues in Indonesia.

Abstract

A This study aims to analyze the issue of the impact and risk of divorce due to online loans without the knowledge of the couple. Studies on divorce may often be discussed but for the reason that specific online loans do not yet exist. Online loans are facilities used to borrow money that are sheltered by online-based financial service providers. Online loans are one of the factors behind divorce in Boregah Village RT02/RW09, Cilampunghilir Village, Padakembang District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The method used in the research is qualitative with a descriptive approach with data collection techniques based on observations and interviews. Participants came from former married couples who divorced due to borrowing online loans without the couple's knowledge, which includes resource person 1 under the pseudonym Mentrari and resource person 2 under the pseudonym Rain. The act of borrowing online loans without the knowledge of the spouse is a wrong act because it is considered a betrayal. Loss of trust in the spouse leads to disharmony in the household. Limited communication is also a factor that causes a partner to feel lonely and have to make quick decisions when in urgent circumstances. Keep in mind that the act of borrowing online loans is not a solution to family financial problems, but instead raises new problems. Openness and honesty between spouses are needed to create harmony so that there is no divorce.

Abstract

Suicide bombing is one of the deadliest and most frightening forms of terrorism because the impact caused causes huge losses in the number of casualties and also many aspects of people's lives. The problem is that suicide bombers often act in the name of religion and use their religious views as motivation for their actions. The suicide bombers give meaning to the religious symbols they encounter and then interpret the form of the symbol, namely religious commands such as jihad and also represent symbols that are interpreted as infidels in the wrong way, so this article tries to analyze how important symbols are in the formation of meaning and human behavior. This article uses the symbolic interactionism theory approach in its analysis, by looking for sources from various literatures, namely journals, books, and existing research. and uses a qualitative approach because the data produced is in the form of words or descriptions. Suicide bombers are included in demographic studies because they are part of the human population that can be analyzed statistically.

Abstract

Neonatal mortality is a serious global health challenge, especially in countries with low levels of development. Neonatal mortality is the death of a baby born within 7 days of birth, also known as early neonatal/early neonatal and the death of a baby born alive more than 7 days to less than 29 days is called late neonatal mortality. In Indonesia itself, neonatal mortality is still a serious problem although there has been a decline in recent years. From a social demographic perspective, neonatal mortality will be related to factors such as maternal age, education level, economic status, and access to health services. An in-depth analysis of the data shows that social disparities such as access to quality prenatal care, medical care during labor, and neonatal care after birth all contribute to the rate of neonatal mortality. Disparities in access to health services and people's level of education may exacerbate the situation, increasing the risk of neonatal mortality among vulnerable groups.

Abstract

The role and function of parents towards children are very important in the family. The absence of one person, especially the father, in guiding and supporting the development of the child will have a direct, unknown impact on a family, as it has a significant impact on the child's health and emotional well-being. Most children unconsciously have problems with the role of a lost father or fatherless in their lives; even Indonesia occupies the third place in the roles of a missing father or fatherless. The study explores the impact of father loss on the child's mental and emotional health, factors that cause fatherlessness, and adaptive strategies to cope with the difficulties that arise after the loss of a father. This research uses a library study method, or literature review, which involves collecting books, articles, and previous research that supports research with a qualitative approach. The results point to the fact that losing a father can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional health. This study provides insight into the importance of the father's role in the family and the importance of social support to cope with the impact fatherless.

Abstract

Patriarchal culture remains a major factor contributing to gender inequality across various aspects of life, particularly in the workplace. This social system positions men as the dominant group, while women are often placed in subordinate roles that limit their mobility and opportunities for growth. In professional settings, women face numerous structural barriers, ranging from discrimination in recruitment and wage gaps to limited access to leadership roles or strategic positions. Moreover, social expectations that place domestic responsibilities on women further burden them and restrict their participation in the professional sphere. Gender-based discrimination also frequently manifests in the form of stereotypes, disregard for contributions, and a lack of institutional policy support for equality. These issues create persistent disparities and hinder the full realization of women’s potential. This study aims to analyze the impact of the patriarchal cultural legacy on women's career development and to explore strategies, approaches, and policies that can foster a more just, equitable, and inclusive work environment for all.
