Abstract

This study examines and analyzes the values contained in the tradition of nadran, particularly social values that can form a Community solidarity fishermen in Kelurahan of Kesenden. Analyzing the forms of social solidarity in the community of fishermen in Kelurahan of Kesende the city of Cirebon. This research used a qualitative approach and methods a descriptive analysis for mempaparkan research results. Data collection on this research uses techniques of observation, interview techniques, and study the documentation of a trusted parties. Informant research consists of Pillars of fishermen, the Chairman of Society, Kebayan, the chairman of nadran fishing communities in the region of southern Samadikun The results of this research show that the fishing community solidarity is formed from the existence of a consensus on social values, religious values, such as moral values, the values of truth, beauty and value are believed and trusted by the fishing communities in the nadran tradition, so the shape of the solidarity Community fishermen in the village of kesenden, that is a form of mechanical solidarity.

Abstract

The development of the times and technological advances can shift the existence of local arts in various regions, one of which is Badud art. Badud art has decreased in its preservation, due to competition between local art and modern art which has resulted in the decline of its existence. The purpose of this research is to describe the role played by the Association of Rukun Sawargi as an association that houses Badud arts in preserving the arts in the midst of the times. The research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, the data collection used is in-depth interviews, non-participation observations, and documentation studies, with the selected participants, namely the chairman and members of the Sawargi Rukun Association, Pangandaran Regency artists, Margacinta Village Head and community leaders (Chairman of Pangandaran Regency). RT, Head of RW, and Head of Dusun). The results of the research carried out are, the Sawargi Rukun Association carries out activities consistently, including routine collections, practicing Badud arts, training Badud arts to elementary school children as a form of regeneration, and introducing and presenting Badud art to tourists who come to Margacinta Village, with Thus the existence and preservation of Badud art will be maintained. Perkembangan zaman dan kemajuan teknologi dapat menggeser eksistensi kesenian lokal yang ada di berbagai daerah, salah satunya kesenian Badud. Kesenian Badud mengalami penurunan dalam pelestariannya, karena adanya persaingan antara kesenian lokal dengan kesenian modern yang mengakibatkan kesenian tersebut menurun eksistensinya. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peranan yang dilakukan oleh Paguyuban Rukun Sawargi sebagai Paguyuban yang menaungi kesenian Badud dalam melestarikan kesenian tersebut di tengah perkembangan zaman. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara mendalam, observasi non-parrtisipasi, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan partisipan yang dipilih yaitu ketua dan anggota Paguyuban Rukun Sawargi, seniman Kabupaten Pangandaran, Kepala Desa Margacinta dan tokoh masyarakat (Ketua RT, Ketua RW, dan Kepala Dusun). Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu, Paguyuban Rukun Sawargi melakukan kegiatan dengan konsisten, diantaranya kumpulan rutin, latihan kesenian Badud, melatih kesenian Badud kepada anak-anak SD sebagai bentuk regenerasi, dan mengenalkan serta menampilkan kesenian Badud kepada wisawatan yang datang ke Desa Margacinta, dengan demikian eksistensi dan pelestarian kesenian Badud akan tetap terjaga.

Abstract

In the phenomenon of lesbians, there is a process of self-meaning of lesbian individuals, in other words, how lesbian individuals are in the stage of forming their homosexual identity. Lesbian self-meaning cannot be formed and realized as a person's sexual orientation but through stages that are influenced by psychosocial and biological factors that can shape one's identity. The purpose of this study is to find out how the stages of homosexual identity formation follow Cass's Theory which is a model for analyzing the formation of homosexual identities, including lesbians. The method used is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach to describe phenomena related to the self-meaning process of lesbians. The results obtained based on the research are the stages of lesbian identity formation, types of lesbian self-meaning, and barriers in the process of lesbian self-meaning. Recommendations from researchers are that understanding and research related to the phenomenon of lesbian self-meaning should continue to be expanded and developed in order to provide insight to the public in accepting the diversity of sexual orientations and reducing stigma and acts of discrimination.

Abstract

The industrial sector is one of the economic sectors that should be a sector that can lead other economic sectors to develop and improve. As the heart of the national industry, West Java Province is very densely populated with industrial areas. It is not surprising that West Java Province is a significant producer of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Basically, the industrial sector has an important role in a regional economic development. The main objective is to imcrease the number of jobs for workers of productive age who have not yet found a job. Increased employment in the industrial sector. There are many factors in the absorption of the industrial sector workforce in West Jawa Province. To find out these problems, this articels uses the Literature Review method. This method is used to search for journal article serach uses relevant previous research and gets 10 articeles to be analyzed. The results of research journals that have beenanalyzed, it can be concluded that the factors that influence the absorption of the workforce in West Java Province, namely, such as the number of business units, wage levels, investment, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and Human Development Index (IPM).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan realitas peran anak dalam konstruksi sosial budaya oleh masyarakat suku Batak di tengah kehidupan sosial yang intens dengan beragam suku bangsa di daerah perantauan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif karena secara keseluruhan hasil dari penelitian ini akan diolah dengan menganalisis perspektif masyarakat secara langsung. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif guna menganalisis fakta dengan interpretasi yang tepat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran anak dalam konstruksi sosial budaya Batak mengalami perubahan jika dianalisis melalui proses dialektika konstruksi sosial. Peran anak dalam keluarga suku Batak sangat kompleks dan sangat erat kaitannya dengan budaya Suku Batak.

Abstract

The government is running the Citarum Harum program as an effort to restore the cleanliness of the Citarum River. The form of effort taken is by controlling buildings that do not have permits around the river. Binong sub-district, which contains the Cikapundung Kolot River and is a tributary of the Citarum River, was affected. This research aims to analyze the impact of the Citarum Harum Program on the socio-economic conditions of communities affected by evictions in Binong Village. The research method used is qualitative analysis by collecting data through interviews, observation and literature study. The research results show that the Citarum Harum Program has a significant impact on the socio-economic conditions of the affected communities. Economically, evictions cause a decrease in community expenditure due to the additional costs that must be incurred. Socially, evictions can disrupt the social stability of society, causing uncertainty, isolation and changes in social relationships.

Abstract

This research was initiated due to the phenomenon of sexual harassment encountered on commuter trains in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). The aim of this study is to identify the factors causing sexual harassment against men on these commuter trains. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results of the study indicate several factors contributing to the sexual harassment of men on Jabodetabek commuter trains. Regarding security factors, the limited number of available train officers and the perceived ineffectiveness of CCTV for passengers were noted. Additionally, the comfort factor was deemed insufficient due to overcrowded conditions among passengers on the trains. Furthermore, there is a low level of awareness and sensitivity among passengers to the situations occurring within the train.

Abstract

This study discusses the relationship between mental disorders in college students and factors related to suicide. Mental disorders are conditions that can affect daily thoughts, feelings and behavior. Mental disorders can include depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder and others. There are also various kinds of mental disorders and they can affect each individual differently. Students themselves can experience different mental disorders, such as stress, anxiety disorders and depression. The consequences that can occur if someone experiences a mental disorder can vary, starting from small things to things that can have very fatal consequences. From small things, mental disorders can cause someone to distance themselves from their surroundings, if they lead to bigger things, mental disorders can cause someone to commit suicide. This study is very interesting to discuss because it aims to answer the following questions: (1) How can a student suffer from mental disorders? (2) How can mental disorders influence a student to commit suicide?

Abstract

Birth or fertility has become the cause of issues in Indonesia. One of the provinces, West Java, contributes significantly to the country's population. In 2018, the population was recorded at 48,683,861 people, and it increased to 49,935,858 people in 2020. The population is distributed across various regions in West Java. One of the causes of the high population is birth or fertility. Fertility is a term in demography used to identify the number of children a woman can bear. The research method used is a literature study involving the analysis of various journal sources or articles. The aim of this research is to determine the factors influencing fertility in West Java. The results found factors influencing fertility including marriage factors, migrant fertility factors, education factors, socio-economic level factors (income), and environmental factors. This research illustrates the factors influencing fertility in West Java. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that there are several factors contributing to the high fertility rate in the region.

Abstract

Mortality has a negative impact on demographics. The more the number of deaths increases, the lower the population will be. Population growth will increase, population growth is also very concerned about the death rate and birth rate in a region. This article reviews the effect of death on population and economic growth. This study aims to determine the effect of death on the population and to determine the impact of economic decline caused by death. The method used in this research is literature review, which is the process of analyzing and investigating relevant and published literature on a particular topic through various information (science journals, books, documents). In the study the author observed the effect of mortality on population and economic growth. The results of the study explain that population mortality has a significant negative impact on the population and economic growth of a country. For example, a high mortality rate in a productive age group can lead to a decrease in economic potential. The high mortality rate can also reflect the low quality of life of people in a country. In addition to the negative impact of high mortality rates, there is also a positive impact on economic growth, as higher population density can increase economic growth by increasing innovation and lowering transportation costs, although the effect is very small.
