Abstract

Program PKM dilakukan dengan metode memberikan pelatihan, bimbingan, dan pendampingan kepada peserta mengenai pembelajaran matematika realistik yang dilakukan secara daring. Tujuan pelaksanaan PKM yaitu (1) untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai karya tulis ilmiah, (2) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta mengintergrasikan karya tulis ilmiah dalam proses pembelajaran, dan (3) peserta dapat mengimplementasikan pelaksanaan karya tulis ilmiah dalam proses pembelajaran. Khalayak sasaran utama dalam kegiatan ini yaitu guru-guru sekolah TK, SD, SMP/MTS, SMA/SMK/MAN diseluruh wilayah Indonesia. Wilayah lokasi mitra meliputi seluruh Indonesia karena PKM dilakukan secara daring (online) yang disebut dengan PKM-Virtual. Kegiatan pelatihan dan workshop dilaksanakan berpusat di Jurusan Matematika FMIPA Universitas Negeri Makassar. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam kegiatan program PKM yaitu (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan mengenai karya tulis ilmiah, (2) meningkatnya kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta mengintergrasikan karya tulis ilmiah dalam proses pembelajaran, dan (3) peserta dapat mengimplementasikan pelaksanaan karya tulis ilmiah dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil lain yang diperoleh yaitu meningkatnya motivasi peserta dalam mengetahui materi pembelajaran matematika realistik dan tingginya antusiasme peserta dalam menyebarluaskan atau mendiseminasikan hasil-hasil program PKM terutama materi pengembangan soal-soal level HOTS. Luaran/output kegiatan PKM yaitu (1) meningkatnya pengetahuan peserta mengenai materi-materi kegiatan, (2) artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasi pada seminar nasional, dan (3) publikasi pelaksanaan PKM pada media online.

Abstract

The PKM program focused on providing trainingand mentoring activities to participants regarding PedagogicContent Knowledge (PCK) to improve the quality of thelearning process with the aims of (1) to increase knowledgeabout PCK, (2) participants can implement the PCK well in thelearning process, and (3) participants can disseminateknowledge of PCK. The main target audience in this PKMProgram included school supervisors, school principal, andschool teachers in the Tinggimoncong District, GowaRegency, South-Sulawesi Province. The results obtained in theprogram showed that knowledge and concepts of PCK of theparticipants increased, development skills of PCK of theparticipants were increase, PKM program participants couldcreate examples and compile the PCK activities in learningclasses, and PKM program participants could implement thePCK in the learning process at school. Other results obtainedwere the increased motivation of participants in knowing thePCK and the high enthusiasm of participants in disseminatingthe results of the PKM program, especially the informationabout PCK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan alasan penggunaan dua bahasa (bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa konjo) dalam pembelajaran matematika. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Tombolopao. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan Instrumen penelitian, yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan dua bahasa dalam pembelajaran matematika yang berhubungan dengan kalimat diubah menjadi bahasa Konjo dan bahasa sehari-hari siswa. Penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia digunakan saat guru menjelaskan materi dan saat guru mengadakan evaluasi pada siswanya, guru akan membimbing siswa dengan menggunakan bahasa Konjo. Selanjutnya, bahasa Konjo digunakan saat guru ingin menyampaikan hal-hal penting yang menekankan penjelasan dalam kalimat Konjo. Faktor penyebab penggunaan komunikasi dua bahasa antara guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah terbatasnya penggunaan Bahasa dengan alasan sebagai berikut; 1) Membantu siswa memahami materi yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan bahasa sehari-hari. 2) Guru merasa ada jarak dengan siswa saat menggunakan bahasa formal. Maka guru mengajak siswa untuk mengekspresikan pendapat mereka dalam bahasa yang sering digunakan. 3) Sifat Siri' dan Sipakatau dialami oleh siswa.

Abstract

Proporsi merupakan salah satu topik matematika yang mulai diajarkan di tingkat sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan bagaimana siswa sekolah dasar kelas 5 memecahkan masalah kontekstual proporsi ditinjau dari perbedaan kemampuan matematika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 SD yang terdiri dari kemampuan matematika rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Soal tentang konsep proporsi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa subjek dengan kemampuan matematika rendah tidak menggunakan konsep proporsi untuk menyelesaikan masalah terkait perbandingan. Subjek tersebut hanya membandingkan antara kuantitas yang satu dengan kuantitas yang lain secara langsung. Subjek dengan kemampuan matematika sedang mampu menggunakan konsep proporsi untuk menyelesaikan masalah terkait perbandingan. Akan tetapi, mereka belum menunjukkan alasan yang kuat dalam hal membandingkan tiga buah kuantitas. Subjek dengan kemampuan matematika tinggi mampu menggunakan konsep proporsi untuk menyelesaikan masalah terkait perbandingan. Subjek tersebut mampu membandingkan ketiga kuantitas dalam masalah yang diberikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan media pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi powtoon yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Model penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi  5 tahapan yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi oleh ahli untuk mengukur aspek kevalidan; lembar observasi aktivitas guru dalam mengelola kelas untuk mengukur aspek kepraktisan; lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, angket respon siswa dan tes untuk mengukur aspek keefektifan. Responden uji coba media pembelajaran adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP dengan jumlah 27 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria kevalidan berdasarkan penilaian oleh para ahli. Media pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria kepraktisan berdasarkan hasil observasi akivitas guru dalam mengelola kelas yang dikategorikan baik. Media pembelajaran memenuhi kriteria keefektifan berdasarkan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa yang dikategorikan sangat baik, respon siswa yang dikategorikan sangat baik, dan presentase ketuntasan klasikal dari tes hasil belajar siswa mencapai 85%. Kata Kunci: pengembangan, media pembelajaran, valid, praktis, efektif, matematikaThis research aims to develop and produce learning media using powtoon animation applications that are valid, practical and effective. This research model refers to a ADDIE development model that includes 5 stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Research instrument in the form of validation sheets by experts to measure validity aspect; teacher activity observation sheet in managing class to measure practicality aspect; student activity observation sheet, responses, and tests to measure effectiveness aspect. Respondents for the learning media trial are students of class VIII SMP which consists of 27 students. The results showed that the learning media satisfies validity criteria based on the assessment by experts. The learning media satisfies practicality criteria based on the result of teacher activity observation are categorized as good. The learning media satisfies effective criteria based on the result of students activity observation are categorized as very good, students response are categorized as very good, and the percentage of classical completeness from student learning outcomes test reached 85%.Key Words: development, learning media, valid, practical, effective, mathematics

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the errors of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 33 Makassar in solving the two-variable linear equation system problem based on the Newman stage. This type of research was a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection in this research was conducted by using the assignment and interview methods. The research subjects were taken by 4 people from students of class VIII-F, each consisting of 2 students who had the most errors and 2 students who had the least errors. Each research subject was interviewed based on the results of his work on two-variable system of linear equations. Testing the validity of the data by using the time triangulation technique. From the research results, it could be concluded that in the first and second assignments, all subjects had no errors at the reading and comprehension error stages of the questions. There was one subject who got a transformation error, namely the GAG (male) subject and the other subject did not get an error in the part of changing the problem into the correct mathematical model. As many as two subjects got errors in process skills, namely HKR (female) subjects and GAG (male) subjects and other subjects did not get errors in this section. There were two subjects who got errors in the error because the subject was wrong in the process skills, so the subject got an error at the encoding error stage

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan konseptual matematis siswa SMK khusus kelas X pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Indikator pengetahuan konseptual yang digunakan yaitu mengenali contoh dan noncontoh dari konsep; menafsirkan model, simbol, tanda, atau istilah yang digunakan untuk mewakili konsep; memanipulasi ide-ide terkait dengan penggunaan berbagai macam representasi; serta mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip yang berkaitan pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Terdapat empat subjek penelitian yaitu dua siswa kategori sedang dan dua siswa kategori rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah instrumen tes pengetahuan konseptual dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kategori sedang hanya mampu memenuhi indikator menafsirkan model, simbol, tanda, atau istilah yang digunakan untuk mewakili konsep dan mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip yang berkaitan pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Sedangkan, siswa dengan kategori rendah hanya mampu memenuhi indikator menafsirkan model, simbol, tanda, atau istilah yang digunakan untuk mewakili konsep dan mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip yang berkaitan pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel.Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan Konseptual, Siswa, Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel (SPLTV), SMKThis study aims to determine the mathematical conceptual knowledge of SMK students specifically for class X on the material of a three-variable system of linear equations. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The indicators of conceptual knowledge used are recognizing examples and non-examples of concepts; interpreting models, symbols, signs, or terms used to represent concepts; manipulate ideas related to the use of multiple representations; and identify the principles related to the material of the three-variable system of linear equations. There are four research subjects, namely two students in the middle category and two students in the low category. The data collection technique used is interviews. The instruments used in data collection were conceptual knowledge test instruments and interview guidelines. The results showed that students in the medium category were only able to fulfill the indicators of interpreting models, symbols, signs, or terms used to represent concepts and identify principles related to the material of a three-variable linear equation system. Meanwhile, students in the low category are only able to fulfill the indicators of interpreting models, symbols, signs, or terms used to represent concepts and identify principles related to the material of a three-variable linear equation system. Abstract

This study aims to produce realistic mathematical learning designs that utilize the social system of the community to improve the competence of graduates of junior high school students. This type of research is development research to develop mathematical learning tools that utilize the social system of society. The research subjects were students of the State Middle School in the Province of South Sulawesi. The results showed that the design of mathematical learning models that utilize social systems in junior high schools that meet valid criteria are indicated by the results of expert & practitioner assessment, the practical criteria indicated by the implementation of learning models and abilities the teacher manages learning, the effective criteria indicated by student activity in learning, positive student responses to the implementation of learning, and achievement of individual and classical student learning competencies, Based on the results of student response analysis in learning found that students give positive responses, namely (1) students feel happy about learning activities using the Sismat learning model, learning atmosphere, and the way teachers teach with an average percentage of 98.08%; (2) learning using the Sismat learning model is new for students with an average percentage of 80.29%; (3) shows a very large interest with an average percentage of 100%; and (4) students clearly understand the way teachers teach with an average percentage of 97.69%. The level of competency of student learning outcomes with the Sismat learning model, namely: (1) the results of the learning outcomes competency test, obtained that 88.46% of students obtain a minimum score of 70; and (3) student portfolios meet good criteria, with a mean score of 71.84.

Abstract

This PKM activity aims to increase teachers' understanding and skills of IoT technology in distance learning, introduce sensor and transducer trainers that can be used in remote practicums using IoT, and provide training on using IoT trainers for teachers at SMKN 1 Takalar. This service activity was carried out at SMKN 1 Takalar. The method for implementing PKM activities is divided into three stages, namely, Activity Planning, Implementation Stage and Evaluation Stage. The results of the participants' instruments with questions The material presented was clear and easy to understand. The conclusion from the results of the PkM activity instrument analysis illustrates that the PkM activities that have been carried out are in accordance with the needs and solutions for solving problems experienced by partners
