Abstract

Abstract In this research designed a recognition system for learning the pronunciation of the word animal names in English. Original speech signal sample at 8000 Hz pick out a small portion For voice parameter extraction process used method Linear Predictive Coding (LPC​​) to obtain cepstral coefficients. LPC cepstral coefficients are transformed into the frequency domain with Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). For decision making process of the introduction and use Neural Networks (NN) back propagation. Testing is done using the data train, according to a database of test data and test data do not fit database. While the networks do a variation of 3, 4 and 5 hidden layers respectively for 1, 2 and 3 the number of syllables said. Based on the results of testing training data, the recognition rate for each variation of each network the number of syllables showed no difference in test results, the percentage was 99% for the 1 syllable, 98.5% for the 2 syllables and 100% for 3 syllables. Test data suitable for testing the database, the highest recognition rate for type 1 syllable is a network with 4 hidden layers using a variation of the percentage is 85%, whereas type 2 syllables highest recognition rate using a variation of 5 hidden layers with the correct percentage of 75% and 81.67 % for type 3 syllables using 5 hidden layers. While the test results do not fit the test database, the highest recognition rate for type 1 syllable is a network with 4 hidden layers using a variation of the percentage is 15.83% while the type 2 syllables highest recognition rate using a variation of 3 hidden layers with percentage correct, 20.83% and 33.33% for type 3 syllables using 3 and 4 hidden layers. Abstract

Problems antenna of conductor materials is rahter complicated construction and size are ussually quite large, so for purpose such as a cellular system is considered less efficient. For this purpose requires a simple antenna, a thin, easy to manufacture, and can be connected with other circuits. Then came the idea to design a microstrip antenna that antennas.   In this final project, the Aperture Coupled Feed antennas is designed at a frequency of 800 MHz and 900 MHz. The materials used as the antennas is two layers of epoxy PCB (FR4), with 1.5 mm thick material and the dielectric constant of 4.785593. The first layer of substrate is used  as a patch of the antenna, while the second layer is used as a Coupled Aperture, and than the third layer is used as a Feed line, the Coupled Aperture is connected between the patch and Feed line. The process begins with the antennas design based on existing theories. The next step is to design and simulate the performance of the antennas using the software. The software that used for simulation and design is IE3D V12. And the last step is measurement of antennas performance based on the value the working frequency, the ratio of receive power, VSWR, and radiation patterns.  The form of radiation pattern of microstrip Aperture coupled feed antenna is directional. Result of simulation of microstrip Aperture Coupled Feed at a frequency of 800 MHz: resonant frequency = 0.801 GHz, return loss = -24.92 dB, bandwidth = 0.286 %, VSWR = 1.12, impedance matching = 51.2694 + j 1.02575, total gain = 4.02147, HPBW = 82.5923, microstrip Aperture Coupled Feed at a frequency of 900 MHz: resonant frequency = 0.900 GHz, return loss = -21.0602 dB, bandwidth = 0.344 %, VSWR = 1.192, impedance matching = 53.6359 + j -18.5635, total gain = 4.45903, HPBW = 103.2656. And on the result obtained for Aperture Coupled Feed microstrip antenna at a frequency of 800 MHz: resonant frequency = 840 MHz, VSWR = 1.32, power receieve = 0,109 mW, HPBW = 68ᵒ  and 72ᵒ, Aperture Coupled Feed microstrip antenna at a frequency of  900 MHz: resonant frequency = 920 MHz, VSWR = 1.28, power receieve = 0,042 mW, HPBW = 105ᵒ  and 135ᵒ Keyword :   substrate material, Aperture Coupled Feed, antenna parameter, the working frequency antenna

Abstract

Abstrak Sistem informasi jaman sekarang terdapat banyak tantangan - tantangan baru di dalam keamanan informasinya. Baik di suatu negara, perusahaan atau sebuah organisasi, keamanan data adalah salah satu hal yang penting dalam komunikasi data antar computer melalui jaringan. Banyak orang menyiasati bagaimana cara mengamankan data yang akan dikirim dan diterimanya. Keamanan data bisa dijaga dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya adalah dengan cara melakukan enkripsi terhadap data yang dikirimkan. Dalam penelitian ini, dibuat suatu alat untuk mengamankan data yang akan dikirim dan yang akan diterima dengan menggunakan enkripsi TEA. Sehingga apabila terjadi penyadapan data pada saat pengiriman ataupun penerimaan, data tersebut tidak dapat dibaca oleh penyadap tersebut karena sudah dalam bentuk enkripsi. kata kunci: keamanan data, pengiriman data, enkripsi, TEA     Abstrak In era information systems, there are many new challenges in the information security. Wherever in a country, company or an organization, security of data is one of the important things in the communicaton of data between one computer and the other through a network. Many people think about how to secure datawhich to be sent and to be received. Security of data can be maintained in various option, one of which is to encrypt the data transmitted. In this research, created a tool to secure data which to be sent and to be received by TEA encryption. Abstract

As a citizen we have duty to keep our country in peace and safe, especially for military forces. Indonesian National Armed Forces keep the country safe an army needed to give a skill and proficiency for shooting. Because of that is necessary to willing a device for shooting practice, that is DART (Disappear Automatically Retaliatory Target). With this device hoped that military forces have many skills and proficiency as the way to keep the country in safety and peaceful from threat inside although outside of the country, so we can keep the united of the country. Beside this device can used by athlete as a shoot practice device that is can to increase achievement.In this final project we made control device of  DART (Disappear Automatically Retaliatory Target) that more familiar with shoot target, this shoot target can hide and appear as desire by used. This DART can give Retaliatory shoot when shooting on target is miss. The retaliatory is indicator lamp, this indicator lamp can be consider as retaliatory shoot to shooter because that target of shoot is miss. Abstract

Problems in the current telecommunications system is how to send data with a very high speed but limited in the frequency allocation. One of the solution of this problems that is used a OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system which is a multicarrier communication scheme where the inter-frequency subcarriers orthogonal to each other and overlapping each other so it can save the frequency allocation. To serve more than one user, OFDM systems have combined with a CDMA multiple access technique.A simulation of the OFDM system created using Matlab by applying the CDMA system for the multiple access technique in the OFDM system and known as CDMA-OFDM. Combination of these two techniques will increase the speed of data transmission and it can serve many users at one time. This final project aims to determine the influence of the number of users in the system, the long PN code, the number of subcarrier and the value of Eb/No CDMA-OFDM system in Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) transmission channel. The performance of the system was known from the value of Bit Error Rate (BER) at receiver.For PN code length variation 32, 64 and 128, the simulation CDMA-OFDM system with 32 users showed that the longer PN code is used, the system will show a better performance. It can be seen from the value of the BER system is decreases. For  PN code length 32, the system will show the value of BER 0 in the level of Eb/No 9 dB. For PN code length 64, the system will show the value of BER 0 in the level of Eb/No 7 dB and for PN code length 128, the system will show the value of BER 0 in the level of Eb/No 3 dB. Keywords: CDMA, OFDM, PN code, subcarrier, multiuser.

Abstract

Abstrak Pada era informasi saat ini, kebutuhan terhadap sistem pengenalan diri (personal recognition) secara otomatis yang handal dan dapat dipercaya semakin meningkat terutama untuk sistem keamanan. Salah satu cara yang aman adalah dengan menggunakan teknologi biometrik. Sistem Biometrik adalah teknologi pengenalan diri dengan menggunakan bagian tubuh atau perilaku manusia. Telapak tangan merupakan salah satu biometrika yang memiliki karakteristik unik berupa  garis-garis utama pada telapak tangan dan bersifat stabil. Pada penelitian ini, ciri-ciri garis telapak tangan diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode deteksi garis dan operasi blok. Sedangkan proses pencocokan menggunakan metode jaringan saraf tiruan perambatan balik. Pengambilan citra 3 posisi sekaligus, yaitu posisi posisi tegak, 90  ke kanan, dan 90  ke kiri.  Pada sistem ini menggunakan 270 citra, di antaranya 180 citra latih dan 90 citra uji. Sistem ini diuji dengan menggunakan 90 citra uji telapak tangan milik 30 orang. Dari hasil pengujian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem pengenalan garis-garis telapak tangan yang diujikan dengan citra uji 3 posisi menghasilkan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 88,88%. Pengujian dengan citra uji posisi tegak menghasilkan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 90%. Pengujian dengan citra uji posisi 90  ke kanan menghasilkan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 93,33%. Pengujian dengan citra uji posisi 90  ke kiri menghasilkan tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 90%.   Kata kunci: biometrik, deteksi garis, operasi blok, jaringan saraf tiruan perambatan balik.     Abstract In this information era, an automatic and reliable personal identification is coming necessary as a need. The reliability of conventional methods for identification using password and card is currently low as those could be used by anyone so that the security becoming unsafe. One of the technology for solving this issue is by using Biometrics. Biometrics is a personal authentication technology, which recognizes person by using body features or human behavior. Palm hands which is one of  Biometrics has a unique characteristics on the palm prints. In this research, palmprint characteristics is provided by line detection method and block operation and for the matching process is by training neural network classifier for the verification. The palmprint take in 3 positions : straight vertical position, 90° angle to the right, and 90° angle to the left. This system uses 270 images, consists of 180 training images and 90 test images. The test results show that the performance of palmprint recognition system with 3 positions of test images provides success rate 88,88 %. The test with straight vertical position provides success rate 90 %. The test with 90° angle to the right position provides success rate 93,33 %. Abstract

Abstrak   Penggunaan teknologi Wireless sudah tidak bisa dielakkan lagi saat ini. Teknologi Wireless yang banyak digunakan saat ini adalah WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network). Peningkatan jumlah user ini tentu saja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja server sebagai penyedia layanan. Mekanisme Load Balancing adalah salah satu strategi yang digunakan oleh pengelola jaringan untuk menyeimbangkan beban antar server. Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah jaringan Wireless LAN yang menerapkan mekanisme Load Balancing beserta pengaturan algoritma Least Connection menggunakan software OPNET 14.5.Perancangan dilakukan untuk membandingkan kinerja layanan WLAN tanpa Load Balancing dan dengan Load Balancing dengan parameter-parameter yang digunakan adalah throughput, delay jaringan, Response Time dan fairness index untuk tiap pengguna aplikasi yang berbeda.Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh nilai Throughput pada jaringan dengan Load Balancing untuk layanan HTTP berkisar antara 100-120 Kbps, untuk layanan FTP antara 80-100 Kbps dan untuk Email berkisar 50-60 Kbps. Algoritma Least Connection memberikan cukup adil alokasi pembagian lebar pita, dibuktikan dengan fairness index untuk ketiga skenario berkisar 0,7-0,8 dibandingkan dengan jaringan tanpa Load Balancing dengan fairness index berkisar 0,4-0,7. Mekanisme Load Balancing bekerja optimal pada skenario 3 dengan Delay dan Response Time yang lebih kecil.   Kata kunci : OPNET Modeler v14.5, Load Balancing, Least Connection Algorithm   Abstract   The use of wireless technology has become inevitable at this time. Wireless technology that is widely used today is WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network). Load Balancing Mechanism is one of the strategies used by network managers to balance the load among servers. In this research has been designed a wireless LAN network that implements Load Balancing mechanism and its Least Connection algorithm settings using OPNET 14.5 software. The design is performed to compare the performance of WLAN services without Load Balancing and with Load Balancing with parameters used are the throughput, the network delay, response time and fairness index for each user of different applications.From the simulation results obtained that the throughput on the network with Load Balancing for HTTP service ranges from 100-120 Kbps, for FTP services between 80-100 Kbps and for Email ranged 50-60 Kbps. Least Connection algorithm provides fair allocation of bandwidth sharing, evidenced by the fairness index for the three scenarios range 0.7-0.8 compared to networks without Load Balancing with fairness index ranges from 0.4-0.7. Abstract

Abstract The development of technology has replaced manual system into automation system. In telecommunications sector, there is an e-mail (electronics mail) that replaces the common letter which is previously sent through the Post Office. The use of e-mail is more effective because it is more faster. Today Internet users are getting increasingly so the Internet connection becomes slow. For a fast Internet connection requires a payment that is relatively expensive to internet service providers, so that the process of sending and receiving e-mail in any time or in realtime is quite difficult. Based on the fact above, this research was done to develop an application that utilizes short message service on a phone that is used for e-mail applications. This application runs on a computer that functions as a server. A modem ,that is connected to a server, is used for the process of receiving and sending SMS to the destination mobile number. Internet connection using a LAN internet connection to get stablity and fast internet connection. Mobile phones sending e-mail just by sending SMS that accordances with the format to the server, then the server will upload the contents of that SMS to e-mail destination. When there is incoming e-mail at the registered e-mail account in the system, automatically e-mail content will be downloaded by the system and will send to the account e-mail owner's phone number. The process of sending and receiving e-mail on phone is done by using the short message service, because Internet connection process only occurs on the server. From the test results, it is obtained that average delay result is at least 33.1 seconds for delivering more than 600 characters. Sending an e-mail from phone to gmail.com is 10 seconds, faster than shipments to yahoo.co.id (14.6 seconds). From these test results concluded that the use of different mobile number does not affect the sending and receiving SMS between users and systems, as well as SMS messages to the inbox system will not be processed if the wrong SMS format and not from registered users. Abstract

Sebelum adanya teknologi biometrik, sistem pengenalan menggunakan metode konvensional seperti PIN, password, kunci, maupun kartu. Sistem biometrik menggunakan bagian tubuh dan perilaku manusia dimana tidak memungkinkan untuk lupa,  dipinjam maupun digunakan bersama - sama, atau rusak. Salah satu biometrik yang dapat digunakan pada sistem pengenalan adalah telapak tangan. Ciri pada telapak tangan seperti garis utama, garis kusut, titik delta, dan minusi cenderung unik, dan stabil. Tugas Akhir ini menghasilkan perangkat lunak yang dapat mengenali telapak tangan manusia dan mengetahui kinerja dari ekstraksi ciri gelombang singkat biortogonal untuk pengenalan telapak tangan. Tugas akhir ini menggunakan ekstraksi ciri gelombang singkat biortogonal orde 1.1 level 1 hingga 8, 1.3 level 1 hingga 5, 1.5 level 1 hingga 4, 2.6 level 1 hingga 4, dan 3.5 level 1 hingga 4 dengan metode pengenalan jarak Euclidean. Citra telapak tangan diambil dari 30 responden menggunakan kamera yang dipasang pada penyangga sebanyak 5 citra setiap responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan tingkat pengenalan tertinggi pada orde 1.1 level 4, 7, dan 8, 1.3 level 5, 1.5 level 4, 2.6 level 4, dan 3.5 level 4 sebesar 100%, sedangkan tingkat pengenalan paling rendah oleh orde 2.6 level dekomposisi 1 sebesar 88,33%. Selanjutnya adalah pengujian citra luar menggunakan nilai ambang tertentu didapatkan tingkat pengenalan tertinggi pada orde 1.1 level 7 sebesar 100%. Tingkat pengenalan paling rendah sebesar 40% pada orde 1.3 level 5.

Abstract

Teknologi saat ini untuk bertukar suara yang sudah banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat, salah satunya adalah telepon tradisional. Namun jika kita menggunakan panggilan telepon tradisional, selain tarif yang mahal juga letak geografis menentukan besar kecilnya biaya yang harus dikeluarkan. Kendala tersebut dapat diatasi dengan teknologi VoIP. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) merupakan teknologi yang memungkinkan percakapan suara jarak jauh melalui protokol internet. Server IP-PBX ini dirancang menggunakan Wireless Router TL-MR3420 dan dapat diimplementasikan sebagai server VoIP dengan menanamkan software firmware OpenWRT dan Asterisk, sebagai server instant messaging dengan menanamkan Prosody, dan server file sharing dengan menanamkan Samba. Penelitian ini akan membahas bagaimana aplikasi Linphone, aplikasi AstraChat dan aplikasi AndSMB sisi klien yang tertanam pada perangkat Android berkomunikasi dengan IP-PBX server yang menggunakan firmware OpenWRT yang tersusun dari Asterisk server, Prosody server dan Samba server yang ditanamkan pada device embedded wireless TP-Link MR3420. Sehingga menghasilkan layanan komunikasi jaringan intranet yang terhubung melalui wi-fi berupa layanan voice call, video call, instant messaging dan file sharing.
