Abstract

The background to the problem of this research is that there are many applications similar to Wattpad that can be used as a medium to develop creativity, especially among Islamic broadcasting communication students class of 2017, such as Webtoon or Mangatoon. The aim of the first research is to determine the analysis of the use of the Wattpad application as a medium for developing creativity for Islamic Broadcasting Communication students, Class of 2017. The research uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research show that there is an analysis of the use of the Wattpad application as a media for developing the creativity of Islamic Broadcasting Communication Students Class of 2017, namely to convey the content of a story or prepare a final college assignment report, remembering that students in the final semester are busy and they can use the Wattpad application to make it easier. for all their work, this application is an opportunity for them to share stories both in terms of cognition, affection and connotation that can convey students' feelings in any situation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is first to find out the strategy of the management of the Jami Karya Bakti Palembang mosque in increasing the motivation of the congregation to carry out the congregational dawn prayers, the second to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Jami Karya Bakti mosque management in increasing the motivation of the congregation to carry out the congregational dawn prayers. In this study the authors used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study are the strategies adopted by mosque administrators in motivating congregations by holding dawn lectures which are held once a week by inviting speakers from outside the Jami Karya Bakti Palembang environment. The inhibiting factor for the administrators of the Jami Karya Bakti mosque in increasing the motivation for the morning prayers in the congregation at the Jami Karya Bakti mosque is the lack of awareness of the local community to do the congregational dawn prayers due to laziness and the added atmosphere of getting up from sleep is difficult especially since the dawn atmosphere is cold, and it is still dark which makes Pilgrims prefer morning prayers at home. Supporting factors in motivating the congregation to pray at dawn by holding dawn lectures that can make the congregation gain knowledge or spiritual guidance about worship and there is also a dawn movement carried out by the Palembang city government, Mr. Harnojoyo, and there are mosque facilities.

Abstract

Children with cancer not only face physical challenges due to their illness and lengthy treatment process, but also experience psychological stress that can reduce their motivation to recover. This condition requires psychosocial support services that can support children's emotional well-being and improve their zest for life. This study aims to describe the application of group counseling using animated films and analyze its contribution to motivating the recovery of children with cancer at the Rumah Singgah Sehat Ceria Foundation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects consisted of children with cancer who participated in group counseling services, foundation assistants, and counselors. Data collection techniques included participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and their validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The results showed that the application of animation-based group counseling was able to increase children's involvement in group activities, encourage emotional openness, and strengthen social interaction and support among group members. Animation effectively served as a stimulus that helped children express their feelings and internalize positive values such as hope, courage, and optimism. In addition, there was an increase in healing motivation, as demonstrated by a more optimistic attitude, acceptance of the disease, and a greater willingness to undergo treatment. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that group counseling using animated films is an effective and relevant approach to increase healing motivation and the psychological well-being of children with cancer. This approach is recommended for development in psychosocial services at shelters and institutions that support children with cancer.

Abstract

The study entitled "Group Counseling with Motivational Interviewing Technique to Increase Self-Confidence in Bullying Victims in Talang Cempedak Village" has a background, namely teenagers who experience bullying behavior and have low self-confidence. So that the attitudes shown include the victims are often silent, do not interact with their peers, often feel worthless and incapable, show doubtful attitudes and avoid eye contact. This study aims to determine the level of self-confidence of bullying victims before and after receiving group counseling with the Motivational Interviewing technique and how effective group counseling with the Motivational Interviewing technique is in increasing the self-confidence of bullying victims. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research type. The population in this study amounted to 30 bullying victims. The sampling technique used Purposive Sampling which was selected based on criteria totaling 15 people. The data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study indicate that the self-confidence of bullying victims has increased and is in the moderate category. Which shows that the results of the Wilcoxon test found the Asymp.sig value (2-tailed) between the two groups were 0.012 and 0.016 where 0.012 and 0.016 <0.05. Therefore, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results show that group counseling can increase self-confidence in bullying victims in Talang Cempedak Village.

Abstract

  Perubahan sosial dalam masyarakat adat yang ada di Desa Prambatan Kecamatan abab Kabupaten Pali. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kategori penelitian lapangan (field research), jenis data yang digunakan kualitatif dan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, untuk penganalisaan data dilakukan interprestasi, kritik sumber, deskripsi secara kualitatif dan deskripsi secara kualitatif dan komporatif. Temuan penelitian yaitu: Pertama, Peran tokoh masyarakat dalam perubahan sosial dari masyarakat tradisional menuju masyarakat modern terlihat pada keterlibatan dalam perjuangan kesetaraan sosial dalam memajukan daerah baik pada pengusulan pembangunan desa ataupun pemanfaatan Sumber Daya Manusi di desa tersebut, keterlibatan tokoh masyarakat dalam politik yang mana memberikan dampak positif dalam komunikasi dengan masyarakat tanpa dibatasi usia, dan adanya pengakuan masyarakat terhadap kepemimpinan tokoh tersebut yang syarat akan kebenaran oleh masyarakat. Kedua, Peran tokoh masyarakat dianggap penting dalam perubahan yang terjadi akibat adanya anggapan masyarakat bahwasannya Tokoh memberikan pengaruh positif dalam masyarakat dan bidang mereka. Mereka mendorong perubahan yang bermanfaat dan memajukan kesejahteraan umum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Pandangan Islam pada Adat Pernikahan Netak Contok di Desa Seri Tanjung Kecamatan Tanjung Batu. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keberagaman budaya di Indonesia yang memunculkan berbagai tradisi pernikahan, termasuk tradisi netak contok di Desa Seri Tanjung, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. Tradisi ini merupakan salah satu prosesi adat yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun dan masih dilestarikan hingga saat ini. Netak contok adalah ritual mencukur sebagian rambut calon pengantin sebagai simbol berakhirnya masa lajang dan bentuk persetujuan antar keluarga sebelum dilangsungkannya akad nikah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan adat netak contok dan menganalisisnya dari sudut pandang Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa netak contok memiliki nilai simbolik dalam mempererat hubungan sosial, menjaga warisan budaya, serta menciptakan keharmonisan antar keluarga. Dari perspektif Islam, selama tradisi ini tidak mengandung unsur khurafat, pemborosan, atau pelanggaran syariat, maka tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam. Selama syarat dan rukun nikah seperti akad, wali, saksi, dan mahar telah dipenuhi, pernikahan tetap sah. Dengan demikian, adat netak contok dapat dipandang sebagai bagian dari budaya lokal yang selaras dengan nilai-nilai Islam jika dijalankan secara bijak dan sesuai syariat.

Abstract

This This study is entitled “The Role of Individual Counseling with Motivational Interviewing Techniques in Improving Mental Health in Former Drug Convicts in Client ‘A’ in Tanjung Atap Village, Ogan Ilir”. This research is motivated by the mental health of client “A”, which causes anxiety, low self-esteem, loss of support from family, friends, society, inability to adapt to the environment and psychological pressure due to past experiences while serving a sentence. This study aims to determine individual counseling with Motivational Interviewing techniques to improve mental health in client “A”. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation methods. And the data analysis technique used in this research is the Robert K Yin case study data analysis method. This research was conducted four times a counseling meeting and has three stages of counseling, namely the initial, core, and final stages. The results showed that the application of motivational interviewing techniques in the individual counseling process was able to have a positive impact on client “A”'s condition, namely self-acceptance, decreased anxiety, and increased motivation to live life. Based on the results of the application of individual counseling with motivational interviewing techniques in improving mental health in former drug prisoners on client “A” in Tanjung Atap Village, Ogan Ilir, it can be concluded that this technique is effective or can overcome mental health.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Elderly Posyandu (Integrated Health Post for the Elderly) in improving the health and quality of life of the elderly in Talang Kemang Village and identify obstacles that hinder its implementation. The approach used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the Elderly Posyandu plays a significant role in providing health services such as blood pressure checks, weighing, nutrition counseling, and social activities that support the physical and mental well-being of the elderly. However, the implementation of Posyandu activities still faces various obstacles, such as limited health workers, minimal facilities and infrastructure, and low participation of the elderly due to physical limitations, transportation, and lack of awareness. Support from families and communities also still needs to be improved. In conclusion, despite these various obstacles, the Elderly Posyandu in Talang Kemang Village is able to make a real positive contribution in efforts to maintain and improve the health and quality of life of the elderly through a promotive, preventive, and participatory approach.

Abstract

The development of digital media, particularly YouTube, has created new spaces for the representation and preservation of local culture through audiovisual works. The short film Jangan dipendam Sendiri, published on the Gemericik YouTube channel, utilizes digital media to present the Besemah language and cultural values of Pagaralam City. This study aims to analyze how local cultural representation is constructed in the film through the use of the Besemah language and the accompanying social values. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis. The research object is the audiovisual text of the short film Jangan dipendam Sendiri, with data collected through film text observation, documentation, and supporting interviews. The data were analyzed using the stages of denotation, connotation, and myth to reveal the cultural meanings represented in the film. The findings indicate that local culture is predominantly represented through the use of the Besemah language in inter-character dialogues, as well as through values of solidarity, care, and social kinship. This representation is not merely linguistic but also constructs cultural myths of togetherness and social concern within the Besemah community. This study concludes that digitally based short films play an effective role as a medium for representing and preserving local culture amid globalization, while also contributing to the enrichment of visual communication and local cultural studies.

Abstract

ENGLISH:The research aims to explain the correlation of teachers' teaching abilities to student learning outcomes, student learning interests to learning outcomes and the combination of the two. Respondent was one Arabic teacher at MTS Negeri 1 Palembang and 35 students. Quantitative research methods using regression analysis techniques assisted by the SPSS program. The findings obtained are that the teaching ability possessed by the teacher influences the results of the students by 3.1%. It was also found that the results of the student learning interest factor on student learning outcomes were 30.6%, while the combination of the two, namely the ability of the teacher to teach and the interest of the students, was 34.7%. Based on these data it can be seen that the ability of the teacher to teach and students' interest in learning is stated to have an effect on the student's learning outcomes.INDONESIA:Penelitian bertujuan menjelaskan korelasi kemampuan mengajar guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa, minat belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar dan kombinasi dari keduanya. Responden satu guru bahasa Arab MTS Negeri 1 Palembang dan 35 siswa-siswi. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berbantuan program SPSS. Temuan yang didapatkan yaitu kemampuan mengajar yang dimiliki oleh guru mempengaruhi hasil dari siswa sebanyak 3,1%. didapatkan juga hasil dari faktor minat belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 30,6% sedangkan kombinasi dari keduanya yaitu dari kemampuan guru mengajar dan minat dari peserta didik yaitu 34,7%. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan dari mengajar guru dan minat siswa pada pembelajaran dinyatakan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa tersebut.
