Abstract

This development research was carried out based on the findings of the potential and problems of learning history at SMK Cendika Bangsa Kepanjen. The availability of various adequate learning facilities, especially in the use of digital technology, allows learning activities to be more innovative and aligned with current developments in technology and information. On the other hand, the lack of availability and development of teaching materials in schools is an important concern because it has an impact on the low value of learning outcomes and has not yet achieved complete learning outcomes. In that regard, the purpose of this research and development is to develop and test the effectiveness of teaching materials e-booklet based on Flip PDF Professional on technological development in the period of perundagian in Indonesia for Students Class X SMK Cendika Bangsa Kepanjen Malang. The research method used is the development research method (R&D) by Sugiyono. Teaching materials e-booklet based Flip PDF Professional are digital teaching materials with a more realistic and attractive appearance because when turning the pages of the e-booklet will move like a real book. The teaching materials contain material text, pictures, videos, maps, and quizzes. The result of calculating the percentage of the material validator is 98.33% and the teaching material validator is 91.66%. Meanwhile, the results of the percentage calculation based on the small group trial were 82.22% and the large group trial was 88.93%. Based on the acquisition of these percentages, teaching materials e-booklet based Flip PDF Professional stated to be very valid and very effective in learning history.

Abstract

The use of learning media is one of the main points when learning history takes place. As well as in the use of learning media can better understand the material presented by educators. The selection of good and appropriate media can affect the process of successful learning of students. Along with the development of the technological era, it is increasingly advanced and sophisticated so that there are many opportunities in developing learning media. One of the problems that existed at Panjura High School in class X IPS 1 was the lack of use of learning media so that previously the lecture method was used which was felt to be less efficient in teaching history in class, causing little interest in student learning in History. With this, the researcher wants to apply learning media in the form of interactive quiz media based on Kahoot! as a means of evaluation, so that learning is more interesting and students become active. Media Kahoot! This is a game-based media which can contain questions that will be answered by students. This research was conducted in two cycles where the first cycle greatly influenced the continuation of the second cycle which became the determinant. With 15 selected respondents, then given a questionnaire via google form. Then the data is analyzed to see the success of implementing the Kahoot! media. in the process of learning history. The results showed that almost all students showed a positive response, namely in the first cycle it showed a percentage of 73.28 percent, then in the second cycle it produced a percentage of 90.78 percent for the application of Kahoot! media. during history lessons. With that the application of Kahoot media! can be said to be successful and experience an increase in student learning interest.Penggunaan media pembelajaran adalah salah satu hal yang poin utama pada saat pembelajaran sejarah berlangsung. Serta dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran dapat lebih memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh pendidik. Pemilihan media yang baik dan tepat dapat mempengaruhi proses keberhasilan belajar peserta didik. Seiring perkembangannya zaman teknologi semakin maju serta canggih sehingga banyak peluang dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran. Salah satu permasalahan yang ada pada SMA Panjura di kelas X IPS 1  yaitu kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran sehingga sebelumnya menggunakan metode ceramah yang dirasa kurang efisien dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas sehingga menyebabkan sedikitnya minat belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah. Dengan hal ini peneliti ingin menerapkan media pembelajaran berupa media kuis interaktif berbasis Kahoot! sebagai sarana evaluasi, agar pembelajaran lebih menarik dan siswa menjadi aktif.  Media Kahoot! ini merupakan media berbasis permainan yang didalamya dapat berisi soal-soal yang akan dijawab oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus dimana siklus pertama sangat mempengaruhi kelanjutan siklus kedua yang menjadi penentu. Dengan 15 responden yang dipilih, kemudian diberikan angket melalui google form. Kemudian data dianalisis guna melihat keberhasilan penerapan media Kahoot! dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah. Hasil menunjukkan hampir semua siswa menunjukkan respon positif yaitu pada siklus pertama menunjukkan persentase 73,28 persen kemudian pada siklus kedua menghasilkan persentase 90,78 persen terhadap penerapan media Kahoot! saat pembelajaran sejarah. Dengan tersebut penerapan media Kahoot! dapat dikatakan berhasil serta mengalami peningkatan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

On this occasion, a model approach from Stephen Plog will be introduced. In this case, Plog tries to introduce a gravity model or gravity model to accurately predict the quantity of interactions between villages in a certain valley. Plog will prove that anthropologists, historians, and archaeologists can test the reliability of their own interaction measures using data from past societies. This model is carried out accurately and useful, and can be modified by new discoveries in the past.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to develop and test the effectiveness of using an e-module developed using Canva as an instructional aid for teaching about early humans in the Indonesian archipelago. This research used Sugiyono’s 10 stages of research and development (R&D). In this study, we developed an instructional aid using Canva and shared it as links that can be easily accessed using smartphones and laptops. This e-module comprises several main sections: instructions, learning outcomes and objectives, conceptual maps, textual contents, pictures, photos, videos, and assessments. Based on reviews by content and media experts, this e-module is valid at school. The results from the small-group and large-group trials confirmed the effectiveness of the e-module developed in this study. The data obtained from this research demonstrate that the e-module developed using Canva about the early humans in the Indonesian archipelago is valid and very effective as an instructional medium in history learning. Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji keefektifan penggunaan e-modul yang dikembangkan dengan menggunakan Canva sebagai alat bantu pengajaran tentang manusia purba di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan 10 tahap penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mengembangkan alat bantu pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Canva dan membagikannya dalam bentuk tautan yang dapat diakses dengan mudah menggunakan smartphone dan laptop. E-modul ini terdiri dari beberapa bagian utama yaitu petunjuk, hasil dan tujuan pembelajaran, peta konsep, isi teks, gambar, foto, video, dan penilaian. Berdasarkan ulasan ahli isi dan ahli media, e-modul ini valid untuk digunakan di sekolah. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dan kelompok besar menegaskan efektivitas e-modul yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-modul yang dikembangkan menggunakan Canva tentang manusia purba di Indonesia sangat valid dan sangat efektif sebagai media pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

This study describes the movement of the capital from Berbek to Nganjuk in 1880 M. Berbek and Nganjuk were afdeeling under the Karesidenan Kediri government with Berbek as the center of government. Berbek has an isolated geographical location on the slopes of Mount Wilis and has a type of soil that hinders the development of a city. In the era of Regent Sosrokoesoemo III, the center of government was moved to Nganjuk on the grounds that Nganjuk was a potential area with railroads, strategic geography, and had good soil types for urban and agricultural development. After the relocation of the capital Nganjuk, there was a big change from the construction of stations, post offices, hospitals, sugar factories. This study uses historical research methods by examining in terms of historical geography or geohistory.Penelitian ini menjelaskan terkait perpindahan ibukota dari Berbek ke Nganjuk pada tahun 1880 M. Berbek dan Nganjuk merupakan afdeeling di bawah pemerintahan Karesidenan Kediri dengan Berbek sebagai pusat pemerintahannya. Berbek memiliki letak geografis yang terisolasi di lereng Gunung Wilis dan memiliki jenis tanah yang menghambat untuk perkembangan sebuah kota. Pada era Bupati Sosrokoesoemo III pusat pemerintahan dipindah ke Nganjuk dengan alasan Nganjuk sebagai wilayah yang potensial dengan adanya rel kereta api, letak geografis yang strategis, dan memiliki jenis tanah yang bagus untuk perkembangan kota dan pertanian. Pasca pemindahan ibukota Nganjuk mengalami perubahan yang besar dari adanya pembangunan stasiun, kantor pos, rumah sakit, dan pabrik gula. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah dengan mengkaji dari segi geografi kesejarahan atau geohistori.

Abstract

Based on the development of technology that exists today, there are many innovations in the field of national education. The urgency of developing learning media is one of the important aspects that must be understood by all teachers in general, one of which is in history lessons. This arises because it sees the use of learning media that has not been maximized or is still slightly used. The role of the teacher is clearly to create a new and pleasant historical learning atmosphere, so the development of learning media is indispensable in this regard. The purpose of this study is to (1) produce animated video media products based on Videoscribe material on Resistance to Japanese Occupation, (2) test the effectiveness of the product in the learning process in the classroom. The method used in this study is to use the R&D (Research and Development) method with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model. The results of the validation results of the Videoscribe-based animation video product showed a score of 88.3 percent, the results of the small trial showed a score of 91.9 percent and the large trial showed a score of 92.3 percent. It is hereby stated that video animation media based on Videoscribe is very feasible and in demand by class XI students at SMAN 2 Malang.Berdasarkan perkembangan teknologi yang ada pada masa sekarang membuat banyak sekali inovasi di bidang pendidikan nasional. Urgensi akan pengembangan media pembelajaran menggambarkan betapa media menjadi bagian penting yang harus dipahami oleh semua guru pada umumnya, salah satunya pada pelajaran sejarah. Hal ini muncul karena melihat dari penggunaan media pembelajaran yang belum maksimal atau masih sedikit digunakan. Peran guru jelas untuk membangun atmosfer lingkungan belajar sejarah yang baru dan mengasyikkan, maka pengembangan media pembelajaran sangat diperlukan dalam hal ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk (1) menghasilkan produk media video animasi berbasis Videoscribe materi Perlawanan terhadap Pendudukan Jepang, (2) menguji keefektifan produk dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Metode yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini yaitu menerapkan tahapan dari metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Hasil dari validasi produk video animasi berbasis Videoscribe menunjukkan skor 88.3 persen, hasil uji coba kecil menunjukkan skor 91.9 persen dan uji coba besar menunjukkan skor 92.3 persen. Dengan ini menyatakan bahwa media video animasi berbasis Videoscribe sangat layak dan diminati oleh siswa kelas XI di SMAN 2 Malang.

Abstract

Masalah pembelajaran kelas X desain grafis SMK Negeri 4 Malang mayoritas siswa memiliki minat terhadap pembelajaran yang tidak konvensional dan menunjukkan respons tinggi ketika proses belajar. Tetapi sering kali siswa apa bila ada mata pelajaran yang tidak terkait dengan bidang kejuruan dianggap kurang penting. Salah satu usaha guna mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan membuat media pembelajaran history wheel dengan materi kerajaan islam di nusantara sekalius menguji kelayakan media tersebut jika digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian menerapkan sepuluh langkah metode pengembangan yang ditawarkan oleh Sugiyono. Responden penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X jurusan desain grafis A berjumlah 36 orang. Data didapatkan melalui angket validasi dan kelayakan yang diberikan pada responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa history wheel menarik dan inovatif sehinga mampu membuat siswa termotivasi untuk belajar serta membuat suasana belajar menjadi menyenangkan dan mudah memahami materi mengenai kerajaan islam di nusantara.

Abstract

Historical studies often reveal the role of figures in shaping the thought patterns and behavior of past people. One interesting example is Coenrad Laurens Coolen's role as the leader of the Ngoro Christian Village in Jombang. In 1827-1844, coenrad laurens coolen, a half-Javanese European, formed the Ngoro Christian Village. Coolen played the role of leader of the Ngoro Christian Village. Apart from developing the village's physical infrastructure, Coolen also strengthens the community's spiritual dimension with humanist Christian teachings. Coolen understands Javanese society and teaches Christian teachings using a Javanese cultural approach. This means that Coolen was not only a pioneer of Christian teaching in Java, but also combined these teachings with Javanese culture, making it more easily accepted by the local community. The research method used in writing this article is a historical research method with a descriptive qualitative approach to investigate the role of Coenrad Laurens Coolen as leader of the Ngoro Christian Village and the educational values ​​reflected in this process. Coenrad Laurens Coolen played an important role in the Christian Village of Ngoro, Jombang, from 1827 to 1844. It was found that Coolen, who had a Dutch-Javanese background, made it easier for him to spread Christianity through a Javanese cultural approach. Coolen played a role in developing Ngoro Village physically and spiritually, as well as educational values ​​in his leadership that are in accordance with the six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely faith and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. Coenrad Laurens Coolen's role as leader of the Ngoro Christian Village in Jombang from 1827 to 1844 shows educational values ​​that are relevant to the Pancasila Student Profile. So Coenrad Laurens Coolen's role as leader of the Ngoro Christian Village in Jombang from 1827 to 1844 can be used in history learning at school.

Abstract

Abstract: Tradition preservation and understanding of entrepreneurship are two important contents in education that must be taught to students. The Sidoarjo milkfish auction tradition is a tradition that is influenced by the economic, cultural, and religious aspects of the Sidoarjo coastal community, therefore the Sidoarjo milkfish auction tradition has the potential as a content of historical material to provide students with an understanding and motivation about entrepreneurship which is the focus of the Pancasila Student Profile in the Independent Curriculum. This research will discuss the potential of the Sidoarjo milkfish auction tradition as one of the contents in entrepreneurship-based history learning in the Independent Curriculum. The method used in this study is qualitative research with a literature study approach that utilizes various literacy sources. The results of this study show that the Sidoarjo milkfish auction tradition has a huge potential to provide interest and understanding related to entrepreneurship to students, this is based on aspects that affect the existence of this tradition such as economics, religion, and local culture where these aspects are attractions that can bring entrepreneurial opportunities. Abstrak: Pelestarian tradisi dan pemahaman tentang kewirausahaan merupakan dua muatan penting dalam pendidikan yang wajib diajarkan kepada siswa. Tradisi lelang bandeng Sidoarjo merupakan sebuah tradisi yang dipengaruhi oleh aspek ekonomi, budaya, dan religi masyarakat pesisir Sidoarjo, maka dari itu tradisi lelang bandeng Sidoarjo memiliki potensi sebagai muatan materi sejarah untuk memberikan siswa pemahaman serta motivasi mengenai kewirausahaan yang menjadi fokus dalam Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai potensi tradisi lelang bandeng Sidoarjo sebagai salah satu muatan dalam pembelajaran sejarah berbasis kewirausahaan pada Kurikulum Merdeka. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka yang memanfaatkan berbagai sumber literasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tradisi lelang bandeng Sidoarjo memiliki potensi yang sangat besar untuk memberikan minat dan pemahaman terkait kewirausahaan kepada siswa, hal ini didasari dengan aspek yang mempengaruhi keberadaan tradisi ini seperti ekonomi, religi, dan budaya lokal dimana aspek tersebut menjadi daya tarik yang dapat mendatangkan peluang kewirausahaan.

Abstract

In addition to competence as an educator, cultural understanding and cultural awareness are also important for a history teacher to have. History teachers have an obligation to provide multicultural perspectives to their students. Indonesia, a country that consists of various ethnicities, cultures, and religions, requires history teachers to fulfil this obligation. Therefore, teachers must have a strong foundation and teach how these cultures live and coexist. Through the implementation of the cross-cultural course, this research aims to improve teachers' professional competence, foster, and strengthen their cultural awareness, and broaden their understanding of cross-cultural history materials. This study used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design involving giving a pretest before socialization (treatment) and then conducting a posttest afterwards. In our treatment We involved lecturers from the Department of History, Universitas Negeri Malang, as well as the East Java history teachers. In this study, we measured cultural awareness using a questionnaire. Furthermore, we used t-test on SPSS 26 application to calculate validity, reliability, and analysis test. The results of this service showed that the cultural awareness of East Java history teachers increased after attending the training. In addition, the creation of infographic learning media has equipped the teachers with new skills.
