Abstract

This community service activity aims to assist Juanda FC Football School (SSB) in Sidoarjo in developing a structured and valid physical fitness evaluation system. The main issue faced was the absence of a standardized method for measuring physical fitness, resulting in data that lacked accuracy to support the coaching program. The method used was a combination of classical lectures and hands-on training in conducting the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT) and the Harvard Step Test. The activity was conducted over two days and involved 26 participants consisting of coaches and students. The results showed that 33.3% of the students were in the moderate fitness category, 23.8% in the good category, and 9.5% in the very good category. Meanwhile, 14.3% were in the low fitness category, and 19.1% in the very low category. In addition, the coaches' ability to independently carry out valid and reliable fitness tests improved significantly. This activity is expected to establish a culture of data-based evaluation and strengthen early-age athlete development at Juanda FC Football School.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding coverage remains a challenge in several areas, including Bojongkerta Village, within the Cipaku Community Health Center (Puskesmas) jurisdiction, South Bogor District, Bogor City. Lack of knowledge, high levels of stress during breastfeeding, and minimal family support are often major obstacles to successful exclusive breastfeeding. One approach that can be applied to address these issues is hypnobreastfeeding, a relaxation technique combined with positive affirmations to support mothers' readiness to breastfeed. The objective of this activity is to increase the capacity of breastfeeding mothers in exclusive breastfeeding through community-based hypnobreastfeeding training, which also involves Posyandu RW 1 cadres as the main supporting partners of the activity. The method used in this activity involves three stages: first, education and training in hypnobreastfeeding techniques for breastfeeding mothers; second, practical mentoring by lecturers involving students from the Midwifery Diploma Three Program at Ummi University Bogor; and third, evaluation of results through knowledge measurement and observation of breastfeeding practices. A total of 10 breastfeeding mothers and 4 Posyandu cadres participated in this activity. The evaluation results showed an increase in understanding of the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding and a positive change in attitudes towards breastfeeding practices. Furthermore, the active involvement of Posyandu cadres is expected to strengthen ongoing support at the community level. In conclusion, the hypnobreastfeeding training had a positive impact on empowering breastfeeding mothers and strengthening the role of Posyandu cadres as supporters of the exclusive breastfeeding program at the community level. This program also has the potential to expand the reach of education about exclusive breastfeeding and increase the success of sustainable exclusive breastfeeding in the community.

Abstract

Karya sastra adalah sebuah hasil seni yang dihasilkan oleh manusia. Dengan eksistensinya, karya sastra memungkinkan individu untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai pengetahuan, nilai sosial dan budaya, serta prinsip-prinsip kehidupan dan tradisi yang terdapat dalam masyarakat. Novel merupakan salah satu bentuk karya sastra yang termasuk dalam kategori fiksi, di mana penyajiannya didasarkan pada imajinasi atau kreasi pengarang. Seperti yang diungkapkan oleh Arditiya (2016:114), apabila peristiwa-peristiwa dalam masyarakat dituangkan ke dalam karya sastra, maka bentuknya bisa berupa tulisan, seperti dalam novel. Dalam ranah pendidikan, sastra dijadikan materi ajar di sekolah. Hal ini karena karya sastra berkaitan dengan berbagai masalah yang ada dalam dunia pendidikan. Stanton (2007:90) menjelaskan bahwa novel adalah karya sastra yang bisa menghadirkan atau mengembangkan karakter dalam situasi sosial yang kompleks, dengan melibatkan interaksi antara banyak individu, serta kisah yang diceritakan secara urut dan mendetail. Salah satu ciri khas novel adalah narasi yang disajikan secara lengkap dan rumit, yang artinya banyak peristiwa yang diceritakan dalam novel tersebut, di mana kejadian-kejadian itu disusun secara bertahap atau memiliki alur sehingga pembaca dapat memahami isi novel dengan baik.

Abstract

Various factors can cause students to have difficulty in working on multiplication problems, one of which is the teacher's teaching method. Therefore, teachers need to teach the material in a way that is easy to understand and fun. To improve mathematics learning outcomes in multiplication material in grade V of SD Negeri 2 Metro Timur, it is important to emphasize the use of methods that can help students understand and solve multiplication problems more easily. The application of methods that make it easier for students and use concrete tools that are easy to find is very necessary. This aims to ensure that the mathematics learning objectives set in the curriculum can be achieved in accordance with students' cognitive development. One method that is considered effective in improving numeracy skills while also raising enthusiasm for learning is the jarimatika method. This method uses 10 fingers as aids in the multiplication calculation process. With the jarimatika method, students do not need to buy additional teaching aids because this method is very practical and only relies on their fingers as a medium for counting. Every student has fingers, so this method is in line with their cognitive development stage. Through this method, students can more easily understand the concept of multiplication while engaging in physical activities that are relevant to the material being studied.

Abstract

Masyarakat di desa Terung, Kecamatan Panekan, Kabupaten Magetan, Provinsi Jawa Timur, bermukim di daerah dataran tinggi. Pola perekonomian masyarakat desa Terung berbasis agraris dengan mayoritas penduduknya bekerja sebagai petani yang mengandalkan irigasi dari embung. Kesejahteraan masyarakat masih perlu ditingkatkan dengan memaksimalkan potensi embung yang ada. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa Terung melalui pengembangan masterplan embung Sidomas yang berkelanjutan dan terintegrasi. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan untuk membantu masyarakat setempat dalam memanfaatkan embung secara optimal demi meningkatkan taraf hidup dan perekonomian. Kegiatan pendampingan masyarakat dilaksanakan melalui metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Mahasiswa dan Dosen Pendamping Lapangan berkolaborasi dengan perangkat desa dan masyarakat setempat untuk mencari solusi bersama dalam pengembangan embung. Dampak dari kegiatan ini berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan kepercayaan diri masyarakat desa Terung dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan embung Sidomas. Pengembangan embung akan diarahkan untuk mendukung irigasi, konservasi air, dan wisata lokal. Peningkatan kesejahteraan berkelanjutan ke depan dapat dilakukan melalui optimalisasi fungsi embung, serta inovasi dalam pengelolaan sumber daya air, desain kawasan, dan strategi pengembangan ekonomi desa berbasis embung.

Abstract

The background of this study is the increasing interest of students in online games, resulting in negative impacts on students, namely students becoming addicted to online games, so that students have difficulty managing time due to lack of selfcontrol. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between selfcontrol and online game addiction in grade XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Godong. The research method used is quantitative. The data collection process was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 30 grade XI 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Godong. The results of this study are based on hypothesis testing using Pearson correlation, obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.569 with a significance of 0.000, so this value indicates that there is a statistically significant relationship between self-control and online game addiction.

Abstract

Education policy is a strategic part of public policy that aims to create a fair, equitable and quality education system. The implementation of education policy is a crucial stage that determines the achievement of the policy objectives that have been formulated. This journal was created to find out the process of implementing education policy in the context of public policy in Indonesia, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The method used is qualitative through journal literature studies. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of education policy implementation is greatly influenced by institutional factors, human resource capacity, coordination between stakeholders, and community participation. Challenges such as regional inequality, budget limitations and suboptimal bureaucracy are the main obstacles in policy implementation. Therefore, strong integration is needed between policy formulation and implementation, as well as the improvement of governance systems that are Transparent, Accountable and Adaptive to social dynamics. This journal was created to show that a collaborative approach in the implementation of education policy as part of efforts to strengthen public policies oriented towards service and social justice
