Abstract

Theproblem of this research is 1) what the expressions forms of mesarapu, mesokei,and umo’api in the marriage custom of Tolaki Tribe in South East of Sulawesiare. 2) What the meaning of the cultural expressions of mesarapu, mesokei, andumo’api in the marriage custom in Tolaki-South East Sulawesi are.This research is a qualitative descriptiveresearch. Data used in this research is language expressions of mesarapu,mesokei, and umo’api which collected through 1) deep interview, 2) observationin the field in order to get the detail data, and 3) library research in orderto get the personal writings, publishing documents, or research result fromlocal instances or local culture institutions. Data in this research iscollected through 1) recording technique which collecting data is got frominformant using recording tools. 2) Note taking which is used to record otherexternal additional and important data. 3) Transcript technique which is thetransforming data from spoken language to written language. 4) Translationtechnique which is transforming expressions in mesarapu, mesokei, and umo’apiwhich are in Tolaki language into Indonesian Language. Analysis of the meaning in this research isused descriptive interpretative approach using the concept of SPEAKING, then isanalyzed in accordance to the purpose of this research. The researcherdescribed the data based on Hymes concept, the existing data is chosen orexerted according to the verbal expressions and non verbal expressions. Nonverbal expressions are the data used in the marriage custom of Tolaki Tribe inSouth East Sulawesi. The data collected is the language expressions of  mesarapu, mesokei and umo’api in the marriagecustom of Tolaki Tribe in South East Sulawesi which is classified by Chaer(2002:75). The result of this researchshows that the language expression of mesarapu, mesokei, and umo’api in themarriage custom of Tolaki Tribe is the form of communication media which isfull of meaning. The language expression of mesarapu, mesokei, and umo’api withimplicit language and symbolic language which meaning cannot be reached by somepeople.Key words: expressions ofmesarapu,mesokei, and umo’api, and cultural meaning

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah penggunaan bersama sarana dan prasarana yang ada pada beberapa sekolah yang terdapat dalam satu gedung sehingga terjadi bentrokan saat menggunakannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pengelolaan terpadu serta menganalisis problematika dan solusi dari pengelolaan terpadu sarana prasarana pendidikan pada Yayasan Pendidikan Islam di Kota Manado. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, penyebaran instrumen penelitian, dokumentasi, dan triangulasi. Penelitian ini juga melakukan analisis data dan pengecekan kabsahan data. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh penjelasan bahwa pengelolaan terpadu sarana prasarana pendidikan yang terjadi pada yayasan pendidikan Islam di kota Manado adalah dengan melalui komponen-komponen berupa perencanaan pengadaan, penggunaan dan pemanfaatan, serta pemeliharaan sarana prasarana. Dalam pelaksanaan pengelolaan terpadu sarana prasarana pendidikan terdapat problematika yaitu terbatasnya sarana prasarana, kurangnya kesadaran pemeliharaan saran prasarana, serta yang paling mengalami kendala yaitu penggunaan sarana prasarana secara bersama-sama sehingga mengalami bentrokan penggunaannya. Solusi dari faktor penghambat adalah guru harus lebih kreatif dalam menggunakan sarana prasarana yang tersedia dan membuat jadwal penggunaan sarana prasarana melalui koordinasi dengan pihak terkait agar mendapat titik temu.

Abstract

Administrasi kesiswaan merupakan Salah satu bidang pekerjaan administrasi pendidikan. Dalam administrasi peserta didik atau kesiswaan ada berbagai kegiatan yang harus dikelola dengan baik agar proses belajar-mengajar di sekolah dapat berjalan dengan lancar, tertib dan teratur. Sehingga dapat mencapai apa yang menjadi tujuan pendidikan di sekolah. Pengelolaan administrasi kesiswaan mencakup kegiatan perencanaan kesiswaan, penerimaan siswa baru, pencatatan siswa dalam buku induk, pengelompokkan siswa, kehadiran siswa di sekolah, tata tertib sekolah, mutasi, mengatur organisasi sekolah, kelulusan dan alumni, dan Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS). Dalam pelaksanaan administrasi kesiswaan tersebut, kepala sekolah, dewan guru, dan staf tata usaha memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan tujuan pendidikan secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

Saat ini dunia pendidikan sedang dihadapkan dengan tantangan yang berat dan rumit, yaitu wabah Virus Corona 2019 atau yang biasa disebut COVID-19. Kondisi ini melahirkan pilihan yang tidak bisa di tawar-tawar, yaitu melakukan pembelajaran dalam jaringan (Daring). Salah satu aplikasi/platfrom yang menunjang pembelajaran daring adalah pemanfaatan Google Classroom, sehingga pengabdian dengan judul “Pendampingan Manajemen Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Melalui Pemanfaatan Google Classroom Pada Masa Covid-19 di MTs se-Kota Bitung” dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran bagi guru dan siswa walaupun pada masa pandemic covid-19

Abstract

Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) merupakan mata pelajaran yang wajib diajarkan di berbagai jenjang madrasah. Namun, hingga saat ini, pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) masih dianggap sebagai pelajaran yang membosankan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, tim pengabdian yang terdiri dari dosen Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan IAIN Manado berinisiatif melakukan pendampingan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran mind mapping (peta pikiran). Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program ini untuk memastikan bahwa pendekatan yang diterapkan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa dan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan serta pemahaman mereka terhadap materi pelajaran. Lokasi pengabdian bertempat di MIN 2 Kepulauan Sangihe, Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mendapatkan respons positif, yang ditunjukkan oleh siswa dan guru. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mind mapping tidak hanya membantu siswa memahami dan mengingat materi dengan lebih mudah, tetapi juga memberikan dampak positif pada proses pengajaran guru, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI).

Abstract

Religion and social values in an area cannot be separated, eventually becoming part of people's lives. This system is able to give birth to traditions that meet the wishes of the community. Providing socio-religious benefits, such as the traditions of nyadran, ba'da kupat and ngapati that developed for a long time and existed in the community. Javanese Islam is a form of cultural acculturation, which brings together Islam as a great tradition with Javanese culture as a little tradition. The Javanese Islam shown is actually the local genius of the Javanese people in responding to Islam as a great tradition, which gives birth to a unique religious character. Islamic teachings became part of the ritual, which was thick with Javanese culture fused with each other. This phenomenon makes Javanese Islam able to be side by side with elements of modernization. While the purification of Islam continues, the tradition in its development into a religious ethic that gives birth to community harmony, realizing religious social stability. Writings based on literature methods, interviews and in-depth observations, raise the existence and relevance of Javanese (local) Islam in the midst of rapid modernization and purification in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of stock investment activities on the financial performance of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk and PT Bukalapak.com Tbk, with a specific focus on Generation Z investors in Palembang City. Employing a mixed-methods research design, the study utilizes both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data, derived from the companies' financial statements and historical stock prices, were analyzed using relevant financial ratios. Qualitative data were gathered through questionnaires administered to 100 Generation Z respondents in Palembang City who express an interest in stock investment. An Independent Samples t-test was conducted to determine statistically significant differences in financial ratios between the two companies. The findings indicate a significant relationship between stock activity and the financial performance of both PT GoTo Tbk and PT Bukalapak.com Tbk. While the profit, solvency, and activity ratios did not reveal statistically significant differences between the two entities, the liquidity ratio demonstrated a significant variation. Furthermore, the study reveals a high level of interest in stock investment among Generation Z in Palembang City; however, a considerable portion of this demographic has not actively invested due to perceived financial constraints and limited knowledge regarding investment practices.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) analyze difference in cognitive students learning outomes are taught using direct learning model compared students learning outomes are taught using direct learning model; (2) analyze difference in cognitive students learning outcomes who have high spatial ability compared low spatial ability; and (3) analyze interaction between learning model and spatial ability towards cognitive students learning outomes. The type of research used is experiment research in faktorial design. Population of this research is all of engineering building students in SMK Negeri 3 Jombang includes Geomatika and Engineering Surveying (TSP). Sample  of this research is X TSP-1 students as experiment group and X TSP-2 students as control group. The results of this research conclude that: (1) students who had taught using direct learning model gotten cognitive learning outcome significantly hingher than students who had taught using direct learning model; (2) students who have high spatial ability will get cognitive learning outcomes significantly higher than low spatial ability; and (3) there is an interaction significantly between learning model and spatial ability toward cognitive students learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Work-Based Modules project in Construction and Building Utilities subjects to increase student learning outcomes of State Vocational High School 1 Sidoarjo. And to analyze the feasibility of the module in terms of (1) validity; (2) practicality; (3) has a project work-based Modules; (4) student learning outcomes after being taught by project-based Modules. This development research was carried out based on the six stages of the development method. The instruments used in this study were: (1) Questionnaire. Syllabus, lesson plans, Student Worksheets (SW) & Assessment instruments to measure the validity of values; (2) Learning management observation sheet, observation sheet to measure practicality; (3) learning outcomes test to measure the effectiveness of learning devices. The research was conducted on class XI students with competency skills in Modeling Design and Building Information. The results showed that the project-based Modules that works on the subjects of Construction and Building Utilities developed is valid in terms of validity, Practical interms of practicality, and proven effective in terms of effectiveness. Mean while, the learning outcomes indicated that (1) the Cognitive learning outcomes of students whose learning using project-based Modules and SW were significantly higher than students using only SW; (2) the learning outcomes in the Affective domain for students whose learning uses project-based modules, is significantly higher than students who learn only using SW; and (3) the learning outcomes inthe Psychomotor domain of students whose learning uses project-based Modules are significantly higher than those of students who only using SW.

Abstract

Abstrak Permasalahan lingkungan yang terus meningkat memerlukan solusi dari berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan. Nilai-nilai ekoteologi, yang mengintegrasikan kesadaran ekologis dan nilai-nilai keagamaan, menjadi salah satu pendekatan strategis dalam menanamkan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sejak dini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat nilai-nilai ekoteologi pada peserta didik MTs Muhammadiyah Petta di Kepulauan Sangihe melalui pendekatan berbasis pendidikan karakter islami dan aksi lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan ceramah interaktif, diskusi, dan praktik lapangan seperti pembuatan kebun sekolah serta pengelolaan sampah berbasis lingkungan dan nilai-nilai tauhid. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap keterkaitan antara iman dan tanggung jawab ekologis. Selain itu, kegiatan ini mampu mendorong perubahan perilaku dalam menjaga kebersihan, memanfaatkan sampah organik, serta menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menyatakan bahwa integrasi ekoteologi dalam pembelajaran di madrasah efektif dalam membentuk karakter religius-ekologis peserta didik.
