Abstract

Abstract: Application of Numbered Heads Together (Nht) Learning to Improve Class X Students' Learning Outcomes on Chemical Bonds at Smk Negeri 1 Gandapura. This research was conducted by giving a pre-test to students to determine students' initial abilities before learning, then subjected to the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model treatment on Chemical Bonding material for 6 hours of lessons with 2 meetings. After finishing the lesson, a post-test was given to determine the increase in student learning outcomes. The final test of the first cycle of action was obtained by students who did not achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) totaling 8 people (28.57%) while students who achieved the completeness criteria scores were 20 people (71.43%), the results of the observation were that there were research activities in the action Cycle I achieved a score of 90% and the results of observing student activities reached 83.75%. While the final test of the second cycle of action obtained students who did not achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) totaled 3 people (10.72%) while students who achieved the completeness criteria scores were 25 people (89.28%), the results of observations on the activities of researchers in The second cycle of action obtained a score of 94.2% and the results of observing student activities reached 93.75%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model can improve student learning outcomes on Chemical Bonding material in class X SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura. Keywords: Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Learning Model, Student Learning Outcomes, Chemical Bonds Abstrak: Penerapan Pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (Nht) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas X Pada Materi Ikatan Kimia di Smk Negeri 1 Gandapura. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan pre-test pada siswa untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa sebelum pembelajaran, selanjutnya dikenakan perlakuan model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) pada materi Ikatan Kimia selama 6 jam pelajaran dengan 2 kali pertemuan. Setelah selesai pembelajaran, diberikan post-test untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Tes akhir tindakan siklus I diperoleh siswa  yang tidak  mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) berjumlah 8 orang (28,57%) sedangkan siswa yang mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan berjumlah 20 orang (71,43%), hasil observasi terdapat aktivitas peneliti pada tindakan siklus I mencapai skor 90% dan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa mencapai 83,75%. Sedangkan tes akhir tindakan siklus II diperoleh siswa  yang tidak  mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) berjumlah 3 orang (10,72%) sedangkan siswa yang mencapai nilai kriteria ketuntasan berjumlah 25 orang (89,28%), hasil observasi terhadap aktivitas peneliti pada tindakan siklus II memperoleh skor 94,2% dan hasil observasi aktivitas siswa mencapai 93,75%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi Ikatan Kimia di kelas X SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Hasil Belajar Siswa, Ikatan Kimia

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Science Learning Outcomes on the Theme of Heat and Its Transfer through the Take And Give Learning Model in Class V Elementary School Reudeup, West Aceh Regency. The low learning outcomes are thought to be due to several factors, namely: (1) teacher-centered learning; (2) Students do not want to ask questions, let alone express opinions, (3) boredom and boredom of students in participating in science lessons; (4) Motivate students to be able to improve learning outcomes; (5) The application of the Take And Give learning model in the teaching and learning process to train students' creativity in the teaching and learning process. This study aims to determine the increase in science learning outcomes on the theme of heat and its transfer through the Take And Give learning model in the fifth grade of SD Negeri Reudeup, West Aceh Regency. The implementation of learning improvements in Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out at the Reudeup State Elementary School, Meureubo District, West Aceh Regency, which consisted of 3 stages of action, namely pre-action, cycle I and cycle II. The results showed that in the first cycle there were 14 students or 56% who completed with an average score of 66.4 while in the second cycle there were 21 students (84%) who completed with an average score of 76.4. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the take and give learning model in the heat theme and its transfer science subjects has a positive impact on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Reudeup. Keywords: Improvement, Learning Outcomes, Science, Take And Give Abstrak: Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Ipa Pada Tema Panas Dan Perpindahannya Melalui Model Pembelajaran Take And Give Di Kelas V Sd Negeri Reudeup Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Rendahnya hasil belajar diduga karena beberapa faktor yaitu : (1) pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru (Teacher centered learning); (2)  Siswa tidak mau bertanya apalagi mengemukakan pendapat, (3) kejenuhan dan kebosanan siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran IPA; (4) Memberi motivasi kepada siswa untuk dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar; (5) Penerapan model pembelajaran Take And Give dalam proses belajar mengajar untuk melatih kreatifitas siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPA pada tema panas dan perpindahannya melalui model pembelajaran Take And Give di kelas V SD Negeri Reudeup Kabupaten Aceh Barat. Pelaksanaan perbaikan pembelajaran dalam Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Reudeup Kecamatan Meureubo Kabupaten Aceh Barat, yang terdiri dari 3 tahap tindakan, yaitu pra tindakan, siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada siklus I ada 14 siswa atau 56% yang tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 66,4 sedangkan pada siklus II ada 21 siswa (84%) yang tuntas dengan nilai rata-rata 76,4. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran take and give pada mata pelajaran IPA tema panas dan perpindahannya berdampak positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri Reudeup. Kata Kunci : Peningkatan, Hasil Belajar, IPA, Take And Give

Abstract

Abstract: Learning of Children with Special Needs With Accompaniment And Motivation Strategies. This study aims to describe how the teacher's knowledge, learning strategies for ABK students and the obstacles faced in learning for students with special needs (ABK) students at SDN 3 Ulim. This study uses a qualitative approach with the subject of class V teachers at SDN 3 Ulim. Data collection techniques through interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) the teacher's knowledge of ABK students was not deep enough, the teacher knew that there were ABK students in his class but the teacher's knowledge about the condition of ABK students was still less specific and did not understand the concepts or characteristics of ABK students, (2) The obstacles faced are: the ABK students are still slow to learn and lack focus in receiving lessons. Efforts are being made to overcome obstacles in the teaching and learning process with ABK, namely with an individual approach, by accompanying, providing motivation and special guidance for ABK students. Keywords: Learning, Children with Special Needs With Accompaniment and Motivation Strategies. Abstrak: Pembelajaran Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Dengan Strategi  Dampingi Dan Motivasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pengetahuan guru, strategi pembelajaran peserta didik ABK dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran bagi peserta didik anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK) di SDN 3 Ulim. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek guru kelas V di SDN 3 Ulim. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pengetahuan guru tentang peserta didik ABK belum cukup mendalam, guru telah mengetahui adanya peserta didik ABK yang ada di kelasnya tetapi pengetahuan guru tentang keadaan ABK masih kurang spesifik dan belum memahami konsep ataupun karakteristik peserta didik  ABK, (2) Kendala yang dihadapi yaitu: peserta didik ABKnya masih lambat belajar dan kurang fokus dalam menerima pelajaran. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala dalam proses belajar mengajar yang ada ABKnya yaitu dengan pendekatan individual, dengan mendampingi, memberikan motivasi dan pembinaan secara khusus untuk peserta didik ABK. Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran, Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Dengan  Strategi Dampingi dan Motivasi.

Abstract

Background: Traditional medicine is widely used by the community, this is because traditional medicine is easy to obtain and use, but if it is used and the dosage is not appropriate, it will not be effective in healing. Objective: to determine the relationship between community knowledge and the use of traditional medicine to cure toothache in Pidie District. Methods: This research is analytic in nature with a cross-sectional design. Conducted in Pidie Regency from 10 to 20 February 2022 The research population is all people aged 45-54 years, totaling 88 people. The sample in this study used a random sampling technique, namely a sample of 46 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire sheet by means of interviews. Data analysis used the chi square statistical test. Results: the study showed a lack of knowledge on the use of traditional medicine showed a lack of effort to heal pain, amounting to 26 respondents (65.0%). While good knowledge of the use of traditional medicine shows the achievement of healing toothache by 6 respondents (13%), with a  p-value <0.004 from a value of ? = 0.05 because p=0.004 <? = 0.05. The results of statistical tests show that there is a relationship knowledge of the use of traditional medicine with dental health in the community in Pidie District. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge of the use of traditional medicine and healing toothache.

Abstract

Indonesia still has a high prevalence of stunting compared with several other Southeast Asian countries. The National Survey on Nutritional Status in Indonesia in 2022 reported that stunting in Indonesia was 18.5%, while Bangka Regency recorded a stunting prevalence of 16.2%. Feeding under the age of six months has become one of the factors of stunting. This requires concrete effort to handle the problem of stunting. This study aimed to assess the association between prelacteal feeding practices and infant stunting. The research used a cross-sectional design in the Kenangan Health Centre area, Bangka Regency, in May 2023. A sample of 173 infants aged 0-6 months was obtained using cluster random sampling. The height of the selected infants was measured using a lenghtboard and an infantometer. Interviews related to practical feeding were conducted with the parents using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation test with α= 0,05. The results showed that 14,5% of mothers gave prelacteal food to their infants until 6 months of age. There was a relationship between prelacteal feeding practices and stunting in the Kenanga Health Center working area (p= 0,001; r= -0,663). There was a negative correlation between prelacteal feeding practices and stunting. In conclusion, there is a significant negative relationship between prelacteal feeding practices and infant stunting.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is (1) to find out whether the Transformational Leadership Style of School Principals influences the Performance of State Vocational School Teachers in Bireuen Regency (2) to find out whether Work Discipline influences Teacher Performance. State Vocational School teacher in Bireuen Regency. (3) find out whether Job Satisfaction influences the performance of State Vocational School teachers in Bireuen Regency (4) determine the simultaneous influence of the Principal's Transformational Leadership Style, Work Discipline, Job Satisfaction on the Performance of State Vocational School Teachers in Bireuen Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach method, a population of 227 people with a sample of 145 people with a proportional random sampling technique using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5%, data collection techniques likert scale questionnaires and multiple linear regression analysis data processing techniques using SPSS 25. Hypothesis testing results Research using the t test shows that there is no significant influence of transformational leadership style on the performance of State Vocational School teachers in Bireuen Regency. This is indicated by the calculated t value < t table (1.436 < 1.976) and with a significant value of 0.153 > 0.05. Meanwhile, there is a significant influence of work discipline on the performance of State Vocational School teachers in Bireuen Regency. This is shown by the calculated t value > t table (3.477 > 1.976) and with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, teacher job satisfaction influences the performance of State Vocational School teachers in Bireuen Regency with a calculated t value > t table (3.483 > 1.976) and with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. And the results of the f test show that there is a significant influence of transformational leadership style, work discipline and teacher job satisfaction on the performance of State Vocational School teachers in Bireuen Regency. The calculated f value > f table (32.052 > 2.668) with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that improving teacher discipline must be further improved, in order to increase teacher performance scores.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of gargling with lemon juice (Citrus lemon) and betel leaf decoction (Piper betle) on the Debris Index and saliva pH among elementary school students in Aceh Besar District. The background of this research is rooted in the high prevalence of dental caries and other oral health issues in Indonesia, particularly among children. The methodology employed is a quasi-experimental design with two treatment groups, where one group gargles with lemon juice and the other with betel leaf decoction. The results of the study indicate that gargling with betel leaf decoction significantly increases saliva pH (an increase of 1.34) and reduces oral acidity, which is crucial for preventing enamel demineralization and lowering the risk of cavities. Conversely, lemon juice demonstrates a significant reduction in the Debris Index (a decrease of 1.3), highlighting its effectiveness in cleaning plaque and food residues from teeth in the short term. While lemon juice is effective for quick cleaning, its use must be approached with caution due to its strong acidic nature, which can damage tooth enamel if used excessively. In conclusion, this study asserts that betel leaf decoction is superior for long-term use in maintaining oral health, while lemon juice is more effective for quick cleaning but should be used judiciously. These findings emphasize the importance of selecting appropriate oral care methods, particularly in populations at higher risk for dental issues.

Abstract

Irene’s Donuts is an interactive program designed in both computer and manual formats, aimed at providing understanding of the risk factors for dental caries in children from an early age. This program emphasizes the importance of early prevention through the active involvement of parents, particularly mothers. The community service initiative aims to transform primary healthcare services through the innovative method of Irene’s Donuts to raise awareness among mothers about reducing the risk factors for caries in children in Banda Aceh. This community service is conducted using a descriptive method, targeting children and their mothers as respondents. Data analysis employs univariate analysis. The interventions provided include problem-based counseling, measuring children’s caries risk scores, and demonstrating proper tooth brushing techniques. The results of the community service show a significant increase in knowledge, attitudes, and practices of mothers regarding the maintenance of their children’s dental and oral health after the intervention using the Irene’s Donuts method. Additionally, there was a decrease in the caries risk scores among children, indicating the effectiveness of this method in reducing risk factors for caries and improving overall dental and oral health in children.

Abstract

Children with special needs, such as those with Down syndrome, often face challenges in their dental growth and health. Common issues include cavities, misaligned teeth, and gum disease. Difficulties in maintaining oral hygiene independently further exacerbate these conditions. Given the risk of caries that can affect a child's development and the lack of parental knowledge about dental health, early prevention through understanding and parental involvement becomes crucial. Observations at the special education school (SDLB) revealed that 63% of the children experienced dental caries, and their average oral hygiene was rated poorly with a score of 2.6. This data indicates a condition that falls short of expectations relative to government health standards. Children with intellectual disabilities often struggle to learn self-care skills and require assistance both at home and at school. In this context, parents play a central role in teaching these skills to their children. This community service program was conducted using a descriptive method, targeting both children and their mothers as respondents. Data analysis was performed using a univariate approach. The dental nursing care services were planned over 5 days, totaling 40 effective hours with three visits. Interventions included educating mothers about maintaining oral health, simulating and demonstrating proper tooth brushing techniques, and applying the concept of quality home care for parents. This included guidance, monitoring, and providing dental care that can be performed at home as preventive measures. The results of this community service activity indicated an increase in parents' knowledge and skills in caring for their children's dental health. This positively impacted the oral hygiene of the children at SDLB and fostered a change in parental behavior in supporting their children to brush their teeth independently.

Abstract

Perilaku kesehatan gigi dan mulut penting bagi remaja untuk mencegah masalah karies, gigi berlubang, dan gingivitis. Kesadaran remaja dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendidikan kesehatan yang efektif dan mudah diakses. WhatsApp, sebagai aplikasi pesan instan, terbukti efektif untuk memberikan pengingat pendidikan kesehatan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta perilaku kesehatan pada remaja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Gigi Dan Mulut Melalui Reminder Media Aplikasi Whatsapp Terhadap Perubahan Perilaku Kesehatan Gigi Pada Remaja Di Desa Lugu Sekbahak.  Metode penelitian ini  Before and After without Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan menentukan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yaitu 38 responden. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 08 sampai dengan 14 juni 2024. Hasil penelitian dengan uji - T, yaitu terdapat Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Gigi Dan Mulut Melalui Reminder Media Aplikasi Whatsapp Terhadap Perubahan Perilaku Kesehatan Gigi Pada Remaja Di Desa Lugu Sekbahak dengan p value = 0,000 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu  ada Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Gigi Dan Mulut Melalui Reminder Media Aplikasi Whatsapp Terhadap Perubahan Perilaku Kesehatan Gigi Pada Remaja Di Desa Lugu Sekbahak. Disarankan kepada  remaja pentingnya inisiatif kesadaran pencengah masalah gigi seperti karies, dan gingivitis ditingkatkan melalui pendidikan kesehatan yang efektif dan mudah diakses. WhatsApp, sebagai aplikasi pesan instan untuk mengingatkan dan meningkatkan pengetahuan serta perilaku kesehatan remaja
