Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between dental and oral hygiene and gingivitis in pregnant women who visit the Simpang Tiga Health Center, Aceh Besar. This research was conducted using an analytical method with a cross-sectional design which was conducted from 5 February to 2 March 2022 at the Simpang Tiga Health Center, Aceh Besar District. The population in this study was the average number of pregnant women in trimesters 1-3 who visited during the last 3 months with a sample of 30 respondents. The study was conducted by examining dental and oral hygiene and examining the respondents for gingivitis. Data analysis using chi-square test statistical test. The results showed that the dental and oral hygiene of pregnant women who visited the Simpang Tiga Public Health Center was in the category of 15 (50.3%) respondents while the next was in the bad category of 13 (43.3%) with 0.016. Dental and oral hygiene of pregnant women has a significant relationship with gingivitis so it is very disturbed by the mother's condition. From these results, it is necessary to increase the understanding of pregnant women in maintaining dental health during pregnancy. Conclusion The understanding of pregnant women about dental and oral health needs to be improved with improved counseling methods so that in the future it is hoped that the community (pregnant women) will increase.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to explain the development of the Health Education Management model, especially for elementary school students. The methodology used is Research and Development. This research was conducted at an elementary school in the city of Banda Aceh. Data was collected using questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and observations. Analysis and testing of data using t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences in students' understanding before and after the intervention. Implementation of effective and efficient health education management in primary schools in Banda Aceh City. These results were proven by statistical t-test at a significance level of 0.919, ie 0.000 < 0.005. Keywords: Management, education, health. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan perkembangan model Manajemen Pendidikan Kesehatan khususnya pada siswa sekolah dasar. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Research and Development. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sebuah sekolah dasar di kota Banda Aceh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara mendalam, dan observasi. Analisis dan pengujian data menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman siswa yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Penerapan manajemen pendidikan kesehatan yang efektif dan efisien di sekolah dasar di Kota Banda Aceh. Hasil tersebut dibuktikan dengan uji-t statistik pada taraf signifikansi 0,919, yaitu 0,000 < 0,005. Kata kunci: Manajemen, pendidikan, kesehatan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kinerja adalah capain yang dimiliki seseorang dalam pekerjaan untuk mewujudkan tujuan sebuah organisasi. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan UKS diperolah data rendahnya pemahaman dan pengetahuan siswa terhadap pentingnya pendidikan kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk melihat peran budaya organisasi dan nilai spiritual yang dimiliki guru dalam peningkatan kinerja. Penelitian ini melibatkan guru sekolah sebagai objek penelitian. Jenis penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap peningkatan kinerja guru pengelola UKS sehingga dapat mendukung peningkatan pembelajaran siswa dan potensi peserta didik semakin berkembang. Nilai spiritual yang dimiliki guru pengelola UKS juga memiliki pengaruh yang besar, dimana dengan keimanan dan ketaatan seseorang bisa memberikan sebuah perubahan dalam peningkatan kinerja guru.   Kata Kunci: kinerja guru UKS, budaya dan nilai spiritual     PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION OF TEACHERS MANAGING UKS PROGRAM IN IMPROVING SCHOOL ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND SPIRITUAL VALUES OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS Abstract Performance is the achievement that a person has in his work to realize the goals of an organization. The purpose of this research is to see the role of organizational culture and spiritual values of teachers in improving performance. This study involved school teachers as the object of research. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the role of organizational culture has a major influence on improving the performance of UKS management teachers so that it can support the improvement of student learning and the potential of students is growing. Abstract

Pendidikan cara penyikatan gigi bagi anak-anak perlu diberikan contoh suatu model yang baik serta dengan teknik yang sesederhana mungkin. Plak yang bertumpuk di dalam mulut akan mengalami mineralisasi membentuk kalkulus. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk untuk melaksanakan kegiatan dental health education dan scalling di Panti Asuhan Putri Al-Kaseem Kab. Aceh Besar.Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dengan sasaran anak yang berjumlah 30 orang. Intervensi yang diberikan berupa edukasi kesehatan gigi,menyikat gigi secara bersama-sama dengan teknik yang baik dan benar dan pembersihan kalkulus. Hasil evaluasi dari kehadiran peserta, 100% hadir untuk mengikuti penyuluhan dengan baik. Peserta aktif mengikuti kelangsungan acara, media dan alat bantu dapat digunakan secara efektif, acara dapat berjalan sesuai rencana. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat di di Panti Asuhan Putri Al-Kaseem Kab. Aceh Besar diperoleh hasil Ada peningkatan pengetahuan anak dalam pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut  di Panti Asuhan Putri Al-Kaseem Kab. Aceh Besar, dengan peningkatan sebelum intervensi (pre-test) berada pada kategori cukup (60%) dan setelah intervensi (post test) berada pada kategori baik (93,3%). Begitu juga Ada peningkatan Status Kebersihan gigi dan mulut murid, dengan peningkatan sebelum intervensi (pre-test) berada pada kategori buruk (83,3%) dan setelah intervensi (post test) berada pada kategori baik (100%).  Direkomendasikan untuk dilakukan penyuluhan kepada anak secara rutin dan mengadakan sikat gigi bersama untuk meningkatkan kebersihan gigi dan mulut.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parental behavior and the growth of deciduous and permanent teeth in children. The method in this research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. While the sample is the community who visited the Pegasing Health Center, Pegasing District, Central Aceh Regency as many as 35 people who have children. The results showed that parents' knowledge of the growth period of deciduous and very low teeth was 64%, while those with good knowledge were 36%. While the attitude of parents to the period of growth of children's teeth is in the less category as much as 62.8% and in the good category at 37.2%. Meanwhile, the actions of parents during the child's teething period were also in the less category with a percentage of 55.1% while those who had good actions were 44.9%. This study concludes that the knowledge of parents' attitudes and actions towards the growth period of deciduous and permanent teeth at the Pegasing Public Health Center in Central Aceh still needs to be improved so that parents will have more knowledge about the importance of the child's teething period. So there is a relationship between parental behavior on the growth period of deciduous teeth and permanent teeth in children, parental behavior is very influential on the health and growth process of children's teeth. The conclusion is that the behavior of parents has a great influence on children's dental health education so the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of good parents will contribute to the development of dental health education.

Abstract

Children’s anxiety in dental care may lead to uncooperative attitudes. It will reduce the efficiency and effectiveness of dental health service. Based on preliminary survey which conducted at Public Health Center Mutiara, Pidie, Aceh, Indonesia, found that from around 10 children who had tooth extraction, 7 of them was overanxious which 2 children was failed to treat. But, there is still no clear data about the level of children’s anxiety in Public Health Center Mutiara. The purpose this study was to determine the level of children’s anxiety in tooth extraction in Public Health Center Mutiara, Pidie, Aceh, Indonesia. This descriptive research carried out from 10 June to 10 July 2019, by observing using a checklist sheet. The sample was carried out by accidental sampling method. Thirty children with aged 6-12 years old who had tooth extraction was selected in this study. The results showed that majority children (40%) was in severe anxiety, 10% children was no anxiety, 20% children was mild anxiety, and 30% was moderate anxiety. It show that the tooth extraction teratment may not be success because the high level of children’s anxiety, so that the parents and health workers can motivate children to take care of their teeth and can anticipate anxiety that occurs in children.

Abstract

Rampant caries is a multifactorial disease that interacts with each other. Factors in the incidence of dental caries include factors from food, oral hygiene, and habits that are not in accordance with health such as eating food and feeding through bottles. In addition, parents' misunderstanding of the causes of caries, such as using milk, further exacerbates the occurrence of rampant caries in children. This study aims to determine the relationship between mother's behavior regarding bottle feeding with rampant caries in TK Negeri 7 Sabang City. This research is analytic with cross-sectional approach. Sampling used total sampling, namely all 45 children of TK Negeri 7 Sabang City and their mothers as respondents, by conducting dental examinations on children and interviews with mothers. The research instrument used a diagnostic set and a questionnaire. The results of the study were tested statistically using the SPSS program with a chi-square test (a = 0.05). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between mother's behavior about bottle feeding and rampant caries in TK Negeri 7 Sabang City. It is recommended to further improve good behavior towards children when giving bottle milk to avoid rampant caries.

Abstract

Dental and oral problems in children need attention from parents. Entering school age, the child's permanent teeth begin to grow so that in the child's oral cavity there is mixed dentition. This study aims to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge about the changing period of teeth with crowding In Class V Students Kayee Leue SDN, Aceh Besar District.This research is analytic with a cross sectional approach. Sampling used total sampling, namely all In Class V Students Kayee Leue SDN, totaling 56 students and their mothers as respondents, by conducting dental examinations on children and interviews with mothers. The research instrument used a diagnostic set and a questionnaire. The results of the study were tested statistically using the SPSS program with a chi-square test (a = 0.05). The results showed There is a relationship between mother's knowledge about the change of teeth with crowding In Class V Students Kayee Leue SDN (p value = 0.0001). Conclusion The understanding of Mother's knowledge about the changing period of teeth has a significant relationship with crowding In Class V Students Kayee Leue SDN.

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Student Achievement Through Problem-Based Learning Model on Optical Instrument Material at SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura. This study aims to improve the learning achievement of class X TKJ students through the application of a problem-based learning model on optical instruments material in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura. The research subjects were students of Class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura, totaling 21 students in the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses a qualitative approach with the type of classroom action research. The data collected in this study through pre-cycle tests, final tests of each cycle, observation, and interviews. The results of the final test obtained data from the first cycle, students who got a score of 70 only reached 66.66%, and students who scored <70 were 33.34%, and in terms of teacher and student activities carried out by observers it had not been going well, obtained the average percentage is 71.85%. While in the second cycle, 18 students who scored 70 were obtained, thus the percentage of students who scored 70 was 85.71%, and in terms of teacher and student activities carried out by observers the average percentage was 82, 68%. Thus the problem-based learning model has been able to improve student achievement on the subject of Optical Instruments in Class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura. Keywords: Learning Achievement, Problem Based Learning, Optical Instruments Abstrak: Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Melalui Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Pada Materi Alat–Alat Optik di SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X TKJ melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada materi alat–alat optik semester Semester Genap tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 di SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura yang berjumlah 21 siswa pada semester II tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas. Adapun data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini melalui tes prasiklus, tes akhir tiap siklus, observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil tes akhir diperoleh data siklus I, siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≥ 70 baru mencapai 66,66% dan siswa yang memperoleh nilai < 70 adalah 33,34%, dan ditinjau dari segi aktifitas guru dan siswa yang dilakukan oleh pengamat belum berlangsung dengan baik, diperoleh persentase rata-rata adalah 71,85%. Sedangkan pada siklus II siswa yang mendapatkan nilai ≥70 adalah sebanyak 18 orang, dengan demikian diperoleh persentase siswa yang memperoleh nilai ≥70 adalah 85,71%, dan ditinjau dari segi aktifitas guru dan siswa yang dilakukan oleh pengamat persentase rata-rata adalah 82,68%. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran berbasis masalah telah mampu meningkatkan prestasi siswa pada materi Alat–Alat Optik di Kelas X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura. Kata Kunci: Prestasi Belajar, Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Alat-alat Optik

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Skills and Thematic Learning Outcomes in Fractional Materials Through the Application of the Ctl (Contextual Teaching and Learning) Approach for Class III Students of Public Elementary School Peunyareng, Academic Year 2021/2022. This study aims to improve the Skills and Learning Outcomes of Fractions in Thematic Learning of Grade III students of SD Negeri Perumnas Peunyareng, Academic Year 2021/2022. The model used in this classroom action research is the CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) approach. The subjects of this classroom action research are students III of SD Negeri Perumnas Peunyareng, Academic Year 2021/2022. The number of students is 15 students with 10 male students and 5 female students. This classroom action research is carried out in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. This classroom action research is carried out over a period of 3 months, from February 2022 to April 2022 in the even semester. The methodology of this research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research procedure consisted of pre research, planning cycle one, implementing cycle one action, observing cycle one, reflecting on cycle one, planning cycle two, implementing cycle two, observing cycle two and reflecting on cycle two. The data collection technique is collecting test scores which are carried out at the end of each learning cycle in each cycle using a question instrument (written test). Observation data is done by looking at the students' skills in the learning process. Data were analyzed by means of percentage statistics. The results showed that there was an increase in the mastery of student learning outcomes from 34.78% in the pre-study to 60.86% in the first cycle and increased to 78.26% in the second cycle. Student learning skills have increased from moderate to good category and good category to very good category. The CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) approach can improve skills and thematic learning outcomes in fractions of third grade students at SD Negeri Perumnas Peunyareng, Academic Year 2021/2022
