Abstract

             A good service quality always connected with the customer satisfaction. SERVQUAL method to measure the service quality of SMC Telogorejo Hospital shows that one of the service quality's variable will be outstanding among the others.                The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of service quality on inpatient of SMC Telogorejo Hospital's costumer satisfaction. The type of this research is associative research with data collection techniques by interviewing using questionnaire. Analysis of data using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS 16.0. While the hypothesis testing using t test, f test, correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination.                The result showed that service quality have an influence on customer satisfaction with a correlation coefficient of 0,899 and coefficient of determination of 80,7%. The most determining variable of service quality, which influenced the customer satisfaction,  is empathy with a correlation coefficient of 0,831 and coefficient of determination of 69%. Together, the five dimension of service quality have influence on customer satisfaction with the equation Y = 0,732 + 0,043X1 + 0,253X2 + 0,280X3 + 0,457X4 + 0,502X5. This means with a better from each dimension of service quality, the customer satisfaction will be higher. The conclusion of this research are service quality have an influence on job satisfaction and the most determined variable of dimension of service quality is empathy. Suggestion for the company, they should mainting the good performance of service quality with continous evaluation and maintaining the service excellent to reach the international standart hospital.

Abstract

PT. Nyonya Meneer Semarang is a company engaged in the production of herbal medicine. Purchases of raw materials performed each year has increased, it is influenced by the increase in market demand and the difference between the purchase of raw materials that have been planned and the actual realization of the need. With a production capacity of more banyyak, budget forecasting is necessary to purchase raw materials with a small degree of inconsistency. So it can reduce the cost of investment in materials, minimize production costs and ultimately company profits can be optimized. The purpose of this study was to determine the determination of the optimal raw material inventory by EOQ. Where the ledge first thing to do is to determine the need for raw materials for 5 (five) years, then the budget budgeting buying raw turmeric which includes the number of needs, beginning inventory and ending inventory so as to know the amount of the purchase of raw materials each year. To determine the need for raw materials in 2012 as a supporting factor is the historical data, data distribution, extensive business and competitors. Therefore used a method of forecasting the trend analysis covering semi average method, least square method, the method and the method of quadratic trend eksponentisial trend. Of the four forecasting methods are then conducted further analysis by selecting the most appropriate method paramalan to search the very low standard deviation, which means having a close measure of the accuracy of  the real situation.

Abstract

Nowadays, the growth of SMEs in Indonesia is growing rapidly in the food sector. This is caused by an interesting food SMEs, such as SMEs Martabak. However, there are still consumers who assess the lack of quality products, price, and locations that exist. It causes a low purchase decisions.This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, price and location to purchasing decisions on SMEs Mas Ipung’s Martabak in Housing Plamongan Indah Semarang.This research is a survey research using questionnaire as its instrument. Population and samples used in this study are consumers who make a purchase in SMEs Mas Ipung’s Martabak. 97 respondents choosing by using Incidental Sampling method, which is a sampling technique that is done by chance.This study concludes that product quality, price and location have positive and significant effect on purchasing decision, either partially or simultaneously. Location variables have the greatest influence of other variables. The results are obtained by analyzing the primary data using validity test, reliability test, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, simple regression analysis, determination coefficient, significance test (t test) two way.Based on this, the researcher suggested that the owner can pay attention to the quality products, price and location layout of SMEs.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, price, and promotion of the product purchase decisions by first identifying, assessing and measuring consumer perceptions of the amount of sales of products in the market. Researchers conducted a study on the sale of milk powder products fitness L-Men in Semarang.This research was conducted with survey methods (interviews and questionnaires) to 100 (one hundred) of the respondents, the sampling selection technique using purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using tools such as cross-table analysis, validity, reliability, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination and testing with T test curve and test curve F. The independent variable is the quality of the product, price and promotion, while the dependent variable is the purchase decision.The results showed no effect of product quality on purchasing decisions by 35.4%. The effect of price to quality is 35% of purchase decisions and influence on purchasing decisions promotion 40.6%. Taken together the quality of the product, price and promotion has the effect of 51.4%, which means that consumer perceptions of product, price and promotion proportional or positive, which if consumers assess the quality of the product, price, promotion of good will increase the sales of this product.Suggestions for the company is to continue to maintain the quality of products by regularly monitoring the quality of the basic ingredients of products, giving a discount on the purchase of products and continues to promote the increase of the personal selling product knowledge in order to provide solutions to customer needs appropriately is the key to success to improve consumer decision to buy powdered milk products of L-Men

Abstract

PDAM is a company who have to proceed drinking water or clean water in order to maintain public welfare. Work environment and compensation is supporting factors to reached an optimal job satisfaction. A company’s goal will be achieved as well as job satisfaction get higher.The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of work environment and compensation on employees job satisfaction at central Office PDAM Semarang. The type of this research is Explanatory Research with data collection techniques by interviewing using questionnaire. Analysis of data using simple linear regression and multiple regression test with SPSS 16.0. While hypothesis testing using the t test, f test, correlation coefficient, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that working environment has an influence on job satisfaction with a correlation coefficient of 0.464 and a coefficient of determination of 21.5%, the compensation has an effect on job satisfaction with a correlation coefficient of 0.522 and a coefficient of determination of 27.2%, the working environment and compensation together have influence on job satisfaction with the equation Y = 4.150 + 0.107 X1 + 0.237 X2. This means a good working environment and compensation, it will get higher work satisfaction.The conclusion of this research is work environment and compensation has an influence on job satisfaction. Suggestion for the company, needs to improve the working environment in order to give a comfortable workplace and the company needs to review the compensation policy for its employees so that employees feel satisfied, and in the end they will be more motivated to improve their performance.work environment.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of brand image and service quality influence by interest usage as intervening variable package shipping service usage decision of PT. Post. Type of research used in this research is explanatory research with 100 respondents taken using purposive sampling techniques. The techinique of analysis used in this study was linear regression with SPSS for windows. The result showed that there were influence of brand image, service quality, and decision of package shipping service usage of PT. Post Indonesia both partially and simultaneously about 61,4% whereas the remain about 38,6% was influenced by other variable which wasn’t inculde within this model

Abstract

Automotive business development in Indonesia is now characterized by wide variety competition which impact on consumer behavior changes in determining purchasing decisions ranging from product quality, product design structure, and promotions that offered towards consumer, even with big brand names attached to the product. In the conditions of strict competition on motorcycle dealer’s market, Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera Semarang dealer’s are trying to do their business policies to achieve the desired market share. Based on Honda motorcycle sales data on Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera Semarang dealer, there are sales not in accordance with the specified target. This study aims to determine how far the influence of brand equity and promotion of their Honda motorcycle purchasing decisions on the Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera Semarang dealer. This type of research is explanatory research using primary data through questionnaires and secondary data from website in the form of a percentage of sales of Honda motorcycles with other motorcycle brands. The population of research is consumers who make purchases Honda motorcycle at Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera Semarang dealer in 2008-2012 with a sample of 98 respondents from a population of 5356 people using purposive sampling technique. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The measurement using the Likert scale. Data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative that use validity and reliability test, Cross Tabulation Analysis (Crosstab), Coefficient of Correlation, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, Coefficient of Determination, t-test and F-test with the SPSS software program. From the analysis found that the categories of the brand equity of 68.4 per cent expressed good. In categories of promotion, 56.1 percent known good states. variable Brand equity affect purchase decisions on the of 34.8 percent. Variable Promotion influence the purchasing decisions of 29.7 percent. Brand equity and promotion variables influence the purchasing decisions of 4.23 percent. So it can be concluded the better brand equity and promotion is expected to increase consumer purchasing decisions. The suggestions can be given in this study is, Tunggul Sakti Sejahtera Semarang need to increase promotional activities with sponsorship of musical events, sports events, and advertise through the local television media companies.

Abstract

Companies that are able to compete in the markets are the company that provides quality products or services. So the company is expected to continue to make improvements, especially on quality of products and services. Companies also need to seek advice service to give the best to their customers. This requires the identification of the main determinants of service quality from the perspective of the consumers. This study aims is to determine the quality of product and service quality Wana Wisata Gonoharjo and to investigate the effect of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction Wana  Wisata Gonoharjo. This type of research is explanatory, to explain the causal relationship between the variables of quality products or services on customer satisfaction. Its population is Wana Wisata Gonoharjo’s visitors, the number of samples in this study amounted to 100 people. The sampling on this study is used ‘Accidental sampling’ method. Data collection methods used is literature studies, observation and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study is qualitative and quantitative analysis using validity, reliability testing, cross tables, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T test and F test and the coefficient of determination. Based on the data analysis and simultaneously partial quality products or services has a positive impact on customer satisfaction variables Wana Wisata Gonoharjo Kendal. Partially, the influence of product quality to customer satisfaction is at 47.3%. The effect of service quality on customer satisfaction is 40.2%. Simultaneously, the influence of product quality and service quality on customer satisfaction is 55.2%. To improve customer or visitors satisfaction of Wana Wisata Gonoharjo, superintendent should be able to improve product and service quality provided to the customer, with the addition of variants attractions like water boom or improved services.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of job skills, compensation and work discipline on the performance of nurses. The population of this research is warn nurse in public unit section at Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital Semarang and researchers took a sample of 122 nurses. In linear regression analysis was used and the significance test using SPSS 20.0. From the data analysis it can be concluded that in partial, job skills has a positive effect on the performance of 26,6%, the compensationvariable has a positive influence on the performance behavior of 15,3%, and work discipline variable has positive effect on behavioral performance of 12,2%. Simultaneously job skills, compensation, and work discipline variable has a positive effect on the performance by 31,9%. Based on the research results, the researchers suggest that hospitals improve nursing skills in making decisions relating to nursing task followed by giving them profession allowance according to their expectation and educational status, and the relation with the discipline of work is the starting time, so the performances of the nurse can be increased optimally.

Abstract

The competition of global business today focusing on consumers is a strategic choice in business world in order to survive. For example, the tight competition of business in the company of hotel services is by improving the service quality to consumers. The problems in this research were the decreasing number of hotel service users and the increasing number of consumer complaint as the service users of Santika Premiere Hotel in Semarang from year to year. The aims of this research were to identify the appropriateness level between the expectation and the performance of service implementation including the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, guarantee, empathy, and direct proof; and to recognize the satisfaction level felt by the guests of Santika Premiere Hotel Semarang. The research type used was the type of Quantitative Descriptive with the number of respondents determined by using Slovin Formula. The number of samples was 100 respondents. The analysis tool used was Importance and Performance Analysis and Cartesius Diagram. The calculation results the score of appropriateness level was 89,22% which means that the performance of the hotel employees was considered appropriate enough by consumers. The satisfaction level was 3,76 which means that consumers feel satisfied enough with the performance of Santika Premiere Hotel Semarang. It is suggested that management Santika Premiere Hotel should repair the facility of laundry by more attention to the cleanliness of washing clothes, performance security officers need to be improved by taking into account the number of hotel guest complaints about the performance of security personnel, the location of mushola is suggested to be near the hotel lobby so that the guests will be easier to worship,  Santika Premiere Hotel renovate the design and appearance of the building since the exterior condition of Santika Premiere Hotel was considered quite old compared with the competitors.
