Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the influence of motivation, discipline of work and job satisfaction for the employee’s performance in the production PT Pertamina RU VI Balongan. This type of research is explanatory with the techniques of data collection through questionnaire. The sampling technique used sampling saturation, the sample of 70 peoples who are the employee of production PT Pertamina RU VI Balongan. The method of analysis used in this study is Quantitative data analysis, the method of data analysis used simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the research it can be conclude that : a) motivation has positive and significant impact on employee performance 53,6%;(b) discipline of work has positive and significant impact on employee performance 61,4%; (c) job satisfactionhas positive and significant impact on employee performance 47,7%; (d)variable effect of motivation (X1), discipline of work (X2), and job satisfaction (X3) value significant positive effect on employee performance (Y)in the amount of 73,7%. The advice can be given to improve the performance of the employees of the production company PT Pertamina RU VI Balongan is to keep and maintain a conducive situation in the company such as corporate governance and increase professionalism in the work.

Abstract

In order to keep the existence and continuity of a company, surely in its operations, the company needs to focus on the customer under the terms demanded by customers internally and externally in terms of customers' satisfaction. Relating to the quality aspects, a standardization of the management is required in order to maintain company's performance to produces quality products and services, and increase the productivity of the company in an efficient manner, namely ISO 9001: 2008. One of the companies that implement ISO 9001: 2008 is PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Semarang. Employees' performance data of PT. Indofood is fluctuating so it needs to be re-assess through this research. This research aims to determine the effect of training, working environment, and infrastructure towards employee performance at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Semarang. Data collecting methods used in this research was probability sampling with 109 employees as data samples. Datas analysis were quantitative analysis using SPSS program version of 17.0. The analysis method used were correlation test, determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T-test and F-test. The results of the research showed that there are positive and significant effects between training, working environment, and infrastructure towards employee performance at PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Semarang either partially or simultaneously. Variable training has the highest effect towards employee performance in PT. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk Semarang compared to working environment and infrastructure. Training can be enhanced by increasing internal training conduciveness and additional facilities. Working environment can be improved by rearranging the layout of employees’ room. In addition, the infrastructure can be improved by increasing the availability of technology and a special user guidance of technology provided by the company formally.

Abstract

Brand equity elements such as brand awareness, perceived quality, brand associations and brand loyalty is believed to influence purchasing decisions Kia Picanto car. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand awareness, perceived quality, brand associations and brand loyalty on purchasing decisions. This type of research is the explanation (explanatory research). The sampling technique used is purposive sampling of the 75 respondents who are consumers Kia Picanto The Kia Car Dealer Dynamics Semarang. Data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. Then performed a quantitative analysis of the data obtained as: validity and reliability, simple regression test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing via t test and F-test, correlation coefficients and coefficients of determination (R2). The result of this study is that all the independent variables, namely brand awareness (X1), perceived quality (X2), brand association (X3), and brand loyalty (X4) together (simultaneously) or individually affect the dependent variable purchase decisions . Suggestions in this research that the company is able to increase the number of cars Kia Picanto sales with sales promotion and improvement of the service is good service, especially in the procurement of spare parts that do not take a long time. In addition, technological improvements in order to make products more fuel efficient Kia Picanto and establish the relationship with customers to increase sales of Kia Picanto car.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the presence of advancement in telecommunicationtechnology that revives producers to make it as business opportunities where the competition isgetting stricter. Specifically, this study discusses about the downward trend in sales of BlackberrySmartphone in over two year period. The increase of people’s lifestyle, the influence of social groups,also other smartphones that offer more sophisticated features often lead many consumers to chooseother brand than Blackberry. The sample in this research is 100 respondents using samplingtechniques of non-probability sampling. Linear regression analysis and significance test is used totest the hypothesis using SPSS 16.0. The study results indicate that all of the independent variables,lifestyle (X1), community effects (X2), and the product features (X3) partially each have a positiveand significant effect on the dependent variable of brand switching decisions (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of  entrepreneurial competence, business development service, product innovation to business development Batik SMEs. This type of research is explanatory research, with methods data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Sampling techniques using the technique samples are saturated. The sample in this research were 36 businessmen Batik on Pesindon Sentra. This research uses techniques of quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis using the test of validity, reliability, regression analysis, the determination coefficient, and test of significance (t-test).From the data analysis it can be conclude, that the indicate below entire partially independent variable, the variable entrepreneurial competence (X1) effect on business development (Y) amounted to 77,7%, business development service (X2) effect on (Y) business development of 23,9%, and product innovation (X3) effect on business development (Y) of 66,5%. Some suggestions are recommended from this research is the related agencies need to conduct integrated socialization and training on understanding financial statements, reactivate the Pesindon media telecenter, conduct training on the management of capital, evaluation at any development activities, introduce new technologies to help SMEs in managing their business.

Abstract

PT. Meubelindo Semarang is a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of furniture, products manufactured by PT.Meubelindo is kind of teak garden furniture. As a company engaged in production activities, motivation and the work environment is important to the company. The research was motivated by the last four years of production data from the PT. Meubelindo Semarang has decreased and has not reached the specified targets. This study aimed to determine how much effect the motivation and the work environment on productivity. This study used explanations research using questionnaire as the instrument which distributed to 70 production employees of PT. Meubelindo Semarang. The results of the analysis prove that the motivation variable t value (6.876)> t table (1.9955) which means Ha received thus no significant effect between motivation and productivity of employees with the close relationship of 0.410. In the work environment variables t count (3.577)> t table (1.9955) which means Ha accepted, thus no significant effect between the work environment on employee productivity with the closeness of the relationship 0.158. While jointly acquired F calculation (32.519)> F table (3.1296) which indicates that the Ha accepted that hypothesis proved that there was an effect between the variables of motivation and the work environment on employee productivity, with the closeness of 0.493.

Abstract

Competitive advantage is influenced by several factors, including learning orientation, market orientation and product innovation. However, the efforts made to improve the learning orientation, market orientation's understanding, and product innovation by IKM owners still less attention. The purpose of this research is to recognize and explain the influence of learning orientation, market orientation, and product innovation towards competitive advantage of IKM centers Ikat Troso, Jepara District. This research uses explanatory research approach to 76 respondents with simple random technique. Data collection techniques in this study using the technique of interviews, questionnaires, observation and study of literature. The analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using frequency tables, cross-tables analysis, validity test, reliability test,  simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and test of significance (t-test and F-test) and also use the help application programs SPSS 20.0 for Windows. Results of  this research known partial effect between learning orientation, market orientation and product innovation has a positif and significant influence to the competitive advantage by 30%,  28%, 28,9% and the simultaneous influence by 31.5%. Based on these conclusions, then owner IKM need to pay attention to the things about a commitment with learning, orientation towards the customers, the creation of new products and the uniqueness of the product, because it’s has the lowest average.

Abstract

Nowadays, many emerging beauty clinics that offer a wide variety of beauty care services and products to meet the needs of care, especially for women. There are several factors that influence the choice of consumers to buy a product, among others, the word of mouth communication, brand trust, and service quality. The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of word of mouth communication, brand trust, and service quality on user’s decision of beauty treatments in Larissa Aesthetic Center Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this research is consumers of Larissa Aesthetic Center Semarang and the number of samples taken was 100 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires, interview, and a study of literature. The analytical method used is the correlation test, determination, cross tabulations, simple linear regression, multiple, t test and F test with SPSS. The results of this research show that based on the results of multiple linear regression, word of mouth communication, brand trust, and service quality has positive influence on user’s decision of beauty treatments.

Abstract

Batik, as one of Indonesian cultural heritage, is much produced by batik MSMEs in Semarang. All the time, batik sales have still done by conventional methods, such as direct selling in store, phone transaction, and local promotion, so the marketing process is not optimal because it does not reach the other cities. As the development of technology, it is expected that modern technology application can support sales in batik MSMEs. Sales service with internet media, which is called e-commerce, is one of the examples. E-commerce implementation opportunity in batik MSMEs is become the focus of analysis in this research. Some methods were used in collecting data, which are field visit, observation, interview, historical data analysis, and reference study, that would be analyzed by SWOT method. The results show that e-commerce contributes in batik sales. This online selling must be supported by excellent e-commerce system, starts from product order, payment, and shipment. E-commerce system become an information media which facilitates and makes people, as the future consumers, easy to get information and also purchase wherever and whenever. With these strength of e-commerce, it is adviced to batik MSMEs in Semarang in their use of e - commerce application performance for business development by diversifying the products sold in the online store until HR is able to create customer loyalty .Keyword : e-commerce, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.Abstraksi : Batik, sebagai salah satu kekayaan budaya Indonesia, banyak diproduksi oleh Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kota Semarang. Selama ini penjualan batik masih dilakukan secara konvensional, yaitu penjualan langsung di toko, transaksi melalui telepon, dan promosi di wilayah setempat, sehingga pemasaran menjadi tidak optimal karena tidak menjangkau kota-kota lainnya. Seiring berkembangnya teknologi, diharapkan berbagai penerapan teknologi dapat mendukung peningkatan penjualan pada UMKM batik. Salah satunya adalah dengan layanan penjualan melalui internet, yang disebut dengan e-commerce. Peluang penerapan e-commerce di UMKM batik menjadi fokus analisis pada penelitian ini.Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tinjauan lapangan, pengamatan, wawancara, pengumpulan dokumen, dan kepustakaan, yang kemudian dianalisis dengan metode SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-commerce dapat memberikan kontribusi pada penjualan batik. Penjualan secara online ini seharusnya didukung dengan sistem e-commerce mulai dari pemesanan barang, pembayaran, hingga pengiriman barang. Sistem e-commerce dapat memaksimalkan berbagai bentuk penjualan, pemasaran, dan kualitas pelayanan. Sistem e-commerce juga dapat menjadi media informasi yang memudahkan masyarakat, sebagai calon konsumen, untuk memperoleh informasi serta melakukan pembelian di mana pun dan kapan pun. Dengan berbagai kelebihan dari sistem e-commerce, disarankan kepada UMKM batik untuk dapat memanfaatkannya kinerja aplikasi e-commerce dalam rangka pengembangan usaha dengan meragamkan produk yang dijual di toko online hingga SDM mampu menciptakan kesetiaan pelanggan.

Abstract

gmail.comABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the hight growth rate of Semarang Cafes and Restaurants,respectively Cafe and Restaurant also offers a diverse range of facilities to increase the numberof consumers. This is of course just affects the number of visitors who will visit in Cafe orRestaurant because of the many competitors in Semarang. Cafe and Restaurant serviceproviders have to prepare the best strategy to attract consumers, because with the advent of thenew Cafe and Restaurant, consumers are becoming increasingly have many choices. WarkopTunjang Cafe And Restaurant Semarang is one hit from the impact of the number ofcompetitors in the more advanced, it can be seen from Semarang Tunjang warkop revenue thatfell in the last 2 years, namely 2013 and 2014. The problem in this study factors matter whatwhich affect one's decision to visit Warkop Tunjang Cafe And Restaurant Semarang.Specifically focused on three variables: quality of service, facilities and location. The purposeof this research is to study the influence of three variables in influencing consumer purchasingdecisions Warkop Tunjang Cafe And Restaurant Semarang.This type of research is Explanatory Research. The research sample of 100 respondents.Samples were taken using nonprobability sampling techniques, or accidental sampling method.Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using a data collection instrument(questionnaire) was previously tested through validity and reliability test. While the results ofthe data analysis is done through the analysis of tables, simple linear regression analysis,multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test with SPSS.The results showed that the quality of service, location and facilities either partially orsimultaneously significantly influence purchasing decisions. Based on the calculation of dataanalysis through a simple regression test concluded that the quality of service influence onpurchasing decisions, the location influence on purchasing decisions, and facilities influenceon purchasing decisions, as well as through multiple regression test concluded that the qualityof service, location and facilities influence on purchase decisions show results significant
