Abstract

This study focused on the use of language style health products and cosmetics advertisements in Harian Pagi Posmetro Padang. This research is descriptive qualitative research method that aims to describe the style of the language of advertising in print media. The results of this research are health and cosmetic product advertising on Harian Pagi Posmetro Padang. Data obtained from Harian Pagi Posmetro Padang, published during September to November in 2011 which consisted of two ads beauty and health advertising eight. Based on the research results, we can conclude two things, namely (1) the language style of the language contained in the advertisement Harian Pagi Posmetro Padang is personification, metaphor, simile, hyperbole, paradox, inuendo, cynicism, sarcasm, and metonymy. (2) from eight style that is found in Harian Pagi Posmetro Padang, the dominant style of language used is style personified.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to describe the forms of expressive acts in the film Milly and Mamet directed by Ernest Prakasa, to describe the speech strategies in the film Milly and Mamet directed by Ernest Prakasa, and their implications for learning Indonesian. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The research became a research instrument in this research. The data of this research are all expressive speech acts of speakers and partners in the film Milly dan Mamet directed by Ernest Prakasa from beginning to the end. The data collection technique is the note-taking technique in this research is a detailed desriptive technique. Data analysis techniques consist of four steps, a) data identification, b) data classification, c) data interpretation, and d) making conclusions. Based ond the results of this research, the most dominant expressive speech act used in Ernest Prakasa film Milly and Mamet is the expressive speech act to blaming while the least used expressive speech act is the expressive speech act to expressing condolences. In the Ernest Prakasa directed film Milly and Mamet, the most dominant speech strategy used was speaking frankly without preamble, while the least used speech strategy was vague. This research has implications for learning Indonesian in the response text of class IX students in odd semesters. Keywords: Expressive speech acts; speaking strategy; film Milly and Mamet.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the types of politeness strategies used, the dominant language politeness strategies and determine the accuracy of using politeness strategies in Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi's video lectures on YouTube media. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data used in this study are speech fragments containing politeness in the video lectures of Ustadzah Oki Setiana Dewi. The data sources in this study were three video lectures with the most viewer views. The research instrument in this study was the researcher himself. Data collection techniques in this study were tapping and note-taking techniques. Validation of the data in this study is a triangulation technique (cross-check). The data analysis technique was carried out in the following stages. First, grouping speech fragments according to data sources. Second, provide data code. Third, classifying data. Fourth, describing and concluding the results of the research analysis. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that several politeness strategies were found in Oki Setiana Dewi's video lectures on YouTube media which include positive politeness strategies without preamble, negative politeness strategies without preamble, and vague speech strategies. The strategy of speaking frankly without further ado and the strategy of speaking silently cannot be found in Oki Setiana Dewi's video lectures. The dominant speech strategy used in Oki Setiana Dewi's video lecture is a strategy of speaking without preamble, positive politeness as much as 30 data.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihata apakah model pembelajaran inkuiri berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks puisi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Batang Kapas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, dengan jenis desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel dari penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, yaitu kelas VII 6 SMA Negeri 2 Batang Kapas yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh nilai rata-rata posttest siswa sebesar 76,36, yang meningkat dari rata-rata pretest. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks puisi kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Batang Kapas.

Abstract

Worksheet refers to a document or a digital file that contains exercises, questions, or tasks for students to complete as part of their learning activities. This study aims to analyze the need for an appropriate interactive E-Worksheets in learning folklore texts. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. In this qualitative research, the research instrument is the researcher himself. The subjects in this study were students of senior high school in Padang. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire. This data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire filled out by students. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that E-Worksheets   can increase students' interest in learning, especially in learning folklore texts. The implications of this research highlight the importance of incorporating interactive E-Worksheets in teaching folklore texts. Educators and curriculum developers can utilize these findings to design and implement digital learning materials that effectively engage students and promote a deeper understanding of cultural heritage.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah SMA Negeri 1 Banuhampu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan gerakan literasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Banuhampu. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah dari hasil pengisian lembaran angket yang berupa beberapa pertanyaan yang akan diberikan kepada seluruh guru wali kelas X dalam pelaksanaan program literasi dan hasil wawancara guru Bahasa Indonesia sekaligus pembina gerakan literasi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara, angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik penganalisisan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data Model Miles dan Huberman. terdiri atas, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah Pertama, Pelaksanaan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Banuhampu telah dilaksanakan secara umum akan tetapi, pelaksanaan gerakan literasi pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Banuhampu tidak terlaksana secara merata karena dari 8 kelas yang ada pada kelas X hanya beberapa kelas yang melaksanakan gerakan literasi. Kedua, Pelaksanaan gerakan literasi pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Banuhampu dari tiga tahapan pelaksanaan gerakan literasi menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan gerakan literasi sekolah pada siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Banuhampu masih pada tahapan pembiasaan dan itu pun belum maksimal dilakukan pada delapan kelas yang ada pada kelas X.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a lack of teacher attention in managing literary appreciation learning with evidence of the lack of completeness of the assessment tools in the teacher's lesson plans. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to develop an authentic assessment model to measure the achievement of basic competence (KD) in learning the ability to appreciate literary texts (drama) for the class XI 2013 curriculum at the SMA/MA/SMK level, which focused on psychomotor and affective domains which were the focus of learning achievement on literary appreciation by first perform needs analysis, KD analysis, material analysis, and student analysis. To achieve the objectives of this study, the theory of assessment and authentic assessment was used; learning theory and development of learning device models; literary and educational theory; and learning theory of the ability to appreciate literary texts. The design implications for the development of this model refer to the 4-D model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semel and Semel (1974) which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The type of research is R D development research. The data of this research consists of two groups, namely qualitative data in the form of assessment model development tools, and quantitative data in the form of achievement scores of performance tasks with authentic instruments whose limited trials and dissemination were carried out in Senior High School in Padang city. The result of the research is an assessment model that is based on social cognitive learning theory, constructivism, and meaningful learning, learning syntax that focuses on students with representative assessment tools. The results of testing the assessment tool which consisted of 10 types of instruments were concluded to be able to measure the level and type of appreciation of students' literature with a "Good" qualification.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan unsur retorika stand up comedy Pandji Pragiwaksono terhadap pembelajaran teks pidato di SMP. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber Data penelitian ini adalah penampilan stand up comedy Pandji Pragiwaksono. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti dan dokumentasi. Teknik pengabsahan data yang dilakukan adalah teknik uraian rinci. Berdasarkann hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada penampilan stand up comedy Pandji Pragiwaksono dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan unsur retorika pada aspek kebahasaan, dapat disimpulkan hal-hal sebagai berikut. Unsur retorika yang diteliti penampilan stand up comedy Pandji Pragiwaksono yaitu aspek bahasa. Dari aspek bahasa tersebut akan dirincikann sebagai berikut : (a) penggunaan diksi sebagian besar menggunakan diksi gaul atau prokem dan diksi asing ditemukan sebanyak 171 diksi, (b) struktur kalimat yang disampaikan sudah tepat sebanyak 83 kalimat dan masih ada juga yang tidak tepat sebanyak tujuh kalimat, (c) gaya bahasa yang ditemukan sebanyak sembilan kalimat, Berdasarkan semua unsur retorika pada aspek kebahasaan yang ditemukan dalam penampilan stand up comedy Pandji Pragiwaksono, penggunaan diksi cenderung menggunakan kosa kata prokem dan penggunaan gaya bahasa cenderung sedikit. Sebagian besar kalimatnya berstruktur karena adanya konteks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya penggunaan E-LKPD dalam pembelajaran teks eksposisi pada tingkat SMA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis permintaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (E-LKPD) yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru SMA di Kota Padang. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Miles & Huberman, langkah-langkah analisis data adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan validasi data. Temuan penelitian ini mencakup tiga hal, yang meliputi: (1) analisis permasalahan yang mencakup permasalahan kurikulum, dan penerapan E-LKPD di SMA, (2) analisis konteks, dan (3) analisis solusi permasalahan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD di sekolah belum memenuhi syarat untuk membuat E-LKPD yang benar. Oleh karena itu, sekolah memang membutuhkan E-LKPD yang sesuai untuk pembelajarannya, yang disesuaikan dengan kurikulum yang ada, dalam hal ini adalah Kurikulum Merdeka. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan untuk membuat atau mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis HOTS dan berkearifan lokal sebagai media pembelajaran teks eksposisi pada tingkat SMA.

Abstract

This research aims to describe directive speech acts, speaking strategies, and the propriety of directive speech acts with the politeness strategies used by class VIII teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The data used in this research is the teacher’s utterances during the learning process in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. The data source for this research is the Indonesian language teachers. The researcher is the instrument of this research. The data collection techniques for this research are the non-participant observational and note-taking techniques. The research results concluded that there were six teacher directive speech acts in learning in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Padang. The dominant speech acts teachers use are asking with 135 data and ordering with 52. There are five politeness strategies used. The dominant strategy is bald on record in 176 data. However, the research results also show a mismatch between the form of directive speech acts teachers use and the politeness strategies applied. A total of 41 pieces of data were found that showed this discrepancy.
