Abstract

The purpose of this research is the development of a worksheet based on the inqury modified for undergraduate students. The methodology of this research is the development of research and literature review.The development model used in this study is the Borg and Gall which comprises: a preliminary study, planning model development, validation, evaluation, revision and implementation. The instrument used in this study is a questionnare. Validation is done by physics experts and media experts. The validity results was calculated by using the formula Product Moment, while reliability is calculated by the formula KR-20. Development of Modified-based worksheet inquiry, the first step is the needs analysis, select the model and suitable material for manufacturing the worksheet, worksheet development process, develop instruments validation to see compatibility materials and media effectiveness worksheet and tested. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari temuan dilapangan bahwa alat peraga energi terbarukan masih sangat terbatas ketersediaan dan penggunaannya. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan alat peraga energi terbarukan untuk siswa SMA. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dan kajian pustaka. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Borg and Gall. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket. Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan media. Hasil validitas dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Product Moment, sedangkan reliabilitas dihitung dengan rumus KR-20. Alat peraga yang telah berhasil dikembangkan berupa miniatur rumah dengan sumber listrik berbasis energi matahari dan energi mekanik pada atapnya. Alat peraga ini dilengkapi charge untuk menyimpan energi listrik, lampu, kipas dan bel sebagai indikator outputnya. Memberikan kemudahan kepada siswa untuk mengubah sudut terhadap datangnya cahaya atau jatuhnya benda sehingga memudahkan siswa mengambil data untuk membandingkan energi listrik yang dihasilkan pada sudut dan ketinggian benda jatuh yang berdeda-beda. Kata kunci: Alat peraga, Energi Terbarukan, Pengembangan Media.

Abstract

Glass ZnO-MgO-P2O5 with the addition of ZnO composition between 0-15 mol% has been successfully using techniques Melt Quenching. With the analysis of X-ray diffraction (XRD) structure of glass obtained showed properties of amorphous materials. Photoluminescence spectrum has a dominant emission band on the observation of the peak at around 385nm. Sedangjkan hardness test of glass ZnO-MgO-P2O5 decreased with the increasing composition of ZnO. Keywords: glass ZnO-MgO-P2O5; photoluminescence spectrum; melt quenching; XRD; hardness test.

Abstract

Utilization of bamboo waste, especially ash from the combustion is rarely found as well as ceramic tile that made from agricultural waste. This experiment of making ceramics from agrowaste-bamboo used various composition. The composition of this making the ceramics is 30%, 40%, 50% and 60% of bamboo ash. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of bamboo ash composition on the physical characteristics of ceramic which is called density. The bamboo ash with a size of 100 microns was selected for testing. Sintering technique carried out at a temperature of 700°C to this kaolin based ceramic. Testing is done by using the Archimedes method. The addition of bamboo ash composition than caolin to produce lower density structures with the highest value 2.261885321 g/cmᶟ and the lowest is 2.195299124 g/cmᶟ. These results indicate that the addition of bamboo ash composition having an effect on the physical characteristics of ceramics. Keywords: Ceramics, Agrowaste, Bamboo Ash, Sintering, Kaolin.

Abstract

This research aims to improve understanding of the concept of learning physics through media-based learning materials kvisoft the magnetic field. The method used in this research is research and development. This research was conducted in INDOCEMENT high school in the academic year 2014/2015. Before the planning by creating a story board, prototype, flowchard, and development schedule. The software used to develop learning media are kvisoft software. Media Learning physics is limited to the material's magnetic field on the class XII. For the validation conducted by two experts and two experts media material, followed by a test of small groups, large groups and outreach to the larger community, along with a revision after tested. Development of the model used is based on Borg and Gall with comparative descriptive data retrieval. Kvisoft based learning media development is expected to improve understanding of the concept of students in the material's magnetic field. Keywords: Kvisoft, pemahaman konsep, medan magnet.

Abstract

This study was carried out to generate media Flipbook Physics-based learning in the form of multimedia. The study was conducted in the laboratory of physical education for the development phase and in SMAN 22 Jakarta Timur for field testing phase media use Flipbook Physics. The method used is the Research and Development and refers to the development model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Physics flipbook display using 3D software PageFlip Professional 1.7.6. that content is backed up with some software, such as AVS Video Editor, iSpring Suite 6, photoshop, and pdf. Physics Flipbook feasibility test results conducted by experts on the matter and media, also validated by the user. Results of media experts, namely 91.46%, from 94.17% matter experts and the results of tests on users gained 99.38% from 96.70% of the educators and learners. Flipbook Physics validated then used to obtain the data from the experimental class. The average percentage of all aspects of an increase of 57.23%. It can be concluded that the overall Flipbook Physics-based multimedia can enhance learning outcomes of students in high school. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a student’s worksheets based on scientific method as one of the supporters in laboratory, especially on the material temperature and heat can increase the science process skills. The research was conducted at SMAN 22 Jakarta Timur by comparing two classes of grade X as experimental and control class. This research used ADDIE approach to analyze, design, development, implement and evaluation the worksheet. Worksheet feasibility test results based on scientific method has been validated by experts for material and media, also validated by the user. The result of media experts are 80.96%, from material experts are 89.83% and the result of user are 83.16% from teachers and 82.88% from students. The worksheet that was validated then used to collect the data from experimental and control class. The average percentage of all aspects of science process skills increased by 11.66%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the overall worksheet based on scientific method can improve high school student’s science process skills. Abstract

This research aims to develop a module with a step by step problem based learning, which measures the activity is designed primarily to help learners develop their thinking, problem solving, and intellectual skills, which with their experience through real or simulated situations and become students independent. This study research approach development (development research) with stage 1) assess the demands of curriculum standards and teacher inventory problems; 2) the design of the module, module manufacturing and test validation by experts; 3) the stage of implementation, the module tested against high school students of class XI to know the students' assessment module. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the media were developed suitable to be used as learning materials physics. Keywords: development research, module, problem based learning.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a module to approach scientific measures, which measures the activity is designed to educate participants actively queried mengonstruk concept, law or principle through the stages of 5M covering observe, to question, to reason, to try and form a network. This study uses several stages of research: (1) analysis of needs, (2) Design module (Design module development), (3) Development Tools module, (4) Validation Expert (Content and Media), (5) Revised, (6) Validation Master, (7) Revision, (8) Testing One to One, (9) Revision, (10) of the trial, (11) Revision, and (12) Module Final. Then the module is evaluated by experts of material amounted to 87.33%, results of evaluation of instructional media at 87.71%. High School Physics Teacher evaluation results amounted to 84.20%. The questionnaire results learners small group of 84.69% and the results of the questionnaire participants educate large groups of 84.76%. Based on the results obtained it can be concluded that the media developed a decent used as learning materials physics Keywords: learning media, module, scientific, science process skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pendahuluan untuk pengembangan modul praktikum fisika berbasis data logger yang digunakan pada tingkat SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan metode Dick and Carey yang memiliki tiga aktivitas utama, yaitu: analisis, pengembangan strategi, dan evaluasi. Tahapan analisis merupakan tahap pengidentifikasian masalah. Pada tahap ini dilakukan studi pustaka, wawancara dan penyebaran angket kepada beberapa guru sain SMA mengenai efektifitas penggunaan PC Data Logger. Dari studi pustaka diketahui bahwa praktikum dengan menggunakan sistem data logging lebih efektif dari praktikum yang dilakukan secara konvensional. Dari proses wawancara dan penyebaran angket diketahui bahwa sebanyak 90% dari mereka memahami bahwa praktikum dengan menggunakan sistem data logging memiliki banyak keuntungan dibandingkan sistem konvensional, hanya saja terdapat beberapa masalah dalam penggunaan modul yang sudah ada. Dari penelitian pendahuluan ini disarankan untuk melakukan perbaikan dan pengembangan modul praktikum yang sudah ada agar dapat dengan mudah dipahami oleh guru maupun siswa sehingga kegiatan praktikum dapat berlangsung dengan baik. Kata Kunci: modul praktikum, sistem data logging.
