Abstract

Soybean (Glycine max L Merr) varieties have different response to soil drought stress. This research aimed to assess the response of four varieties of soybean (Wilis, Anjasmoro, Local 1, and Local 2) grown in different soil water content (100%, 70% and 40% of the field capacity). The research was done from May until September 2009 at the experimental station of Agricultural Faculty of Tunas Pembangunan University using Factorial Experimental Design. The research showed that soil water stress at the level of 70% and 40% of field capacity retarded plant growth and seed yield of all soybean varieties. This shown by the decrease of plant height, dry weight of  stem, dry weight of  leaf, dry weight of  root, root volume and all yield component and seed yield.  Based on the weight of seed per plant and the number of filled pod, the Wilis variety was the most tolerant to water stress.

Abstract

Dependence on chemical fertilizers (inorganic) are redundant in addition to causing the price of fertilizer is expensive and scarce in the market, has also resulted in the improper use of fertilizers (Appropriate fertilizer) that decrease the yield and productivity of the soil. The use of organic fertilizer has effective influence since it could increase the growth and yield, also capable of efficient use of inorganic fertilizers and improve soil fertility. The purposeof this researchistoreduce theuse of chemical fertilizersby addingorganic fertilizer(urine) in ricefields.The research methodis the single factorconsist of 3treatment, theuse of50% of Chemicals fertilizer by adding1000L/Ha Urine fertilizer, 75% Chemicals fertilizerby adding 1000L/HafertilizerUrine, andthe use of100% of Chemical fertilizer. Each treatmentwas repeatedeight times. The results showedthatuse of75% of Chemistry fertilizerswithadded1000 L/HaUrine fertilizersleave aresponse is notsignificantly different from theuse of 100% Chemical fertilizerson the growthand yieldof paddy, which isable to increasethe number ofproductive tillers, number of filled grain, andheavygraindryperplotwerenot significantly different

Abstract

The research to find out the effect of Beauveria bassiana dose, organicpesticide dose and interaction of Beauveria bassiana with organic pesticide onthe percentage pest attack of berries borer coffee. This study was conducted inCoffee Garden in Kalibening Village of Kebondalem Village of Jambu SubDistrict of Semarang Regency. By using a factorial completely random groupdesign method with two factors. The first factor was the dose of Beauveriabassiana organic controlling agent (A), administration consisting of : A0 =without treatment; A1 = 1 kg/Ha; A2 = 2 kg/Ha; A3 = 3 kg/Ha. The second factorwas the dose of organic pesticide (T) administration consisting of : T1 = 100ml/Ha; T2 = 200 ml/Ha; T3 = 300 ml/Ha. The result showed that the interaction ofBeauveria bassiana dose and organic pesticide dose treatments affectedsignificantly, the lowest percentage of attack occurred in the combination of A3T2treatment as 0,38 % with the Beauveria bassiana dose of 3 kg/ha and the organicpesticide dose of 200 ml/Ha.

Abstract

Sorgum is currently a commodity that is a government program in food diversification in Indonesia because it includes the most potential as a substitution of rice. In addition to its equivalent nutritional content of rice also has the advantage of being able to grow in a hot environment, less fertile, and limited water and even sandy land (Yanuwar, 2002, Sirrapa, 2003). Sorgum is needed by consumers with special needs other than because glutenous free food, low glycemic index (Sungkono et al., 2009). The development of the sorghum plant is the main alternative that needs to be pursued to meet the increasing demand for food while fertile land is decreasing. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of composite fertilizer dosage on growth and Sorgum yield on Vertisol soil. This study used a Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL) with 6 fertilizer doses (0, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120kg / ha NPK Ponska). This research was conducted on Vertisol soil in Sukoharjo regency. The results showed that the dose of Composite fertilizer had significant effect on growth and yield and Sorgum sugar level, but did not affect the weight of 1000 seeds. Composite Dosage 60 kg / ha is the highest dose that can be given to Vertisol Sukoharjo soil to increase the highest yield of Sorgum seed.

Abstract

Kebutuhan kedelai tahun 2015 sebanyak 963,10 ribu ton biji kering. Meningkat sebanyak 8,10 ribu ton ( 0,85 persen ) dibandingkan tahun 2014. Peningkatan produksi tersebut terjadi di luar Pulau Jawa sebanyak 30,41 ribu ton, sementara di Pulau Jawa terjadi penurunan produksi sebanyak 22,31 ribu ton. Peningkatan produksi kedelai terjadi karena kenaikan produktivitas sebesar 0,18 kuintal/hektar ( 1,16 persen ) meskipun luas panen mengalami penurunan seluas 1,80 ribu hektar ( 0,29 persen ). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk kandang kambing terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai, untuk mengetahui pengaruh varietas tanaman kedelai terhadap dosis pupuk kandang kambing dan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara dosis pupuk kandang kambing dengan varietas tanaman kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Teguhan Kecamatan Karangmalang Kabupaten Sragen, dengan ketinggian tempat 86 dpl dengan jenis tanah grumusol. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama dosis pupuk kandang kambing dan faktor kedua varietas tanaman kedelai dan diulang 3 kali. Adapun faktor penelitian dimaksud sebagai berikut : 1) Faktor I, Dosis pupuk kandang kambing (K) yaitu K0 : 0 kg/ha (kontrol), K1 : 10 ton/ha, K2 : 20 ton/ha, K3 : 30 ton/ha, 2) Faktor II, Macam Varietas Kedelai (V) yaitu V1 : Grobogan, V2 : Burangrang, V3 : Baluran. Setiap perlakuan diulang 3 kali. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Perlakuan dosis pupuk kandang kambing pada semua parameter dengan penggunaan dosis 10 ton/ha menunjukkan rata-rata hasil yang berbeda dengan hasil yang lebih banyak dibandingkan parameter lainnya, Perlakuan macam varietas menunjukkan bahwa varietas baluran merupakan varietas dengan hasil yang terbaik dibandingkan kedua varietas lainnya pada semua parameter penelitian, 2) interaksi antara dosis pupuk kandang dan macam varietas kedelai pada semua parameter penelitian menunjukkan tidak berbeda nyata. 3) Untuk hasil kedelai pada berat biji per petak tertinggi pada perlakuan varietas Baluran yaitu 299,5 g ( 2,11 ton/ha ) dan terendah pada perlakuan verietas Grobogan yaitu 206 g ( 1,39 ton/ha ).

Abstract

The aims of the research are to find out: (1) The Effect of concept mapping technique and gaming technique toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter; (2) The Effect of high students's motivation and low students's motivation toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter; (3) The interaction effect between the instructional technique and students's motivation toward the st ident achievement in accounting subject matter.This study is a quantitative research with quasi experimental method. The research begin October 2010 to March 2011. Population of the study are all the eleventh year students of state senior high school 1 for social study major in Surakarta. The research sample are selected with simple random sampling technique. The sample consist of XI IPS 2 (25 students) for concept mapping technique treatment and XI IPS 2 (26 students) for gaming technique treatment.The instruments used to gather dafa for the study consist of documents, written test with essay form, performance test, and questionnaire for students' motivation. Writen test with essay form and questionnaire for students' motivation has been tested who know the proper of instruments. The result of try out test is analyzed with content validity test, item validity test, and reliability test. Item validity test and reliability test were examined using software SPSS.The technique of data analysis are descriptive statistic analysis and inferensial statistic analyses with use software MINITAB. Descriptive statistic analysis is used to divisions of students' motivation in ciass and describe about student achievement in accounting. Inferensial statistic analysis is used to test hypothesis for this research was two path variance analysis. The prerequiste anlysis test consists of normaly test and homogenity variance test. The normality test was done using anderson darling and homogenity variance test was done using F's test.Based on the result of analysis data was concluded: (1) There is a significant effect of concept mapping technique and gaming technique toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter (Fobs > Ftable = 7.94 > 4.06) at 5% level of significant; (2) There is a significant effect of high students' motivation and low students' motivation toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter (Fobs > Ftable = 449.19 > 4.06) at 5% level of significant at 5% level of significant; (3) There is a significant interaction effect between the instructional technique and students' motivation toward the student achievement in accounting subject matter (Fobs > Ftable = 22.47 > 4.06) at 5% level of significant.Key words:   Concept mapping technique, gaming technique, students' motivation, student achievement in accounting subject matter.
