Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the problems which arise in implementation of practical work of living organization materials in Kedaton region. The samples of this research were science teachers who conduct the practical work of living organization materials. The samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. Research data were qualitative data which were taken from questionnaire, interview, photo, research observation sheets, and practical work implementation steps, such as students practical work sheet and biodata science teachers.This research was analyzed descriptively by using Miles and Huberman models. The result of the research showed that implementation practical work of living organization materials which was done by teachers and students had very good criteria. The step of implementation practical work sheet had good criteria.Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of practical work of living organization materials had very good criteria, and the problem which occured in implementation of practical work was the limit of practical work instruments such as microscope.Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pelaksanaan dan permasalahan yang terjadi dalam praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan di SMP kelas VII se-Kecamatan Kedaton.Sampel penelitian adalah guru IPA yang melakukan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kualitatif yang diperoleh dari angket, wawancara, foto, lembar observasi permasalahan dan tahapan pelaksanaan praktikum, perangkat pembelajaran seperti LKS praktikum dan biodata guru IPA. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa memiliki kriteria sangatbaik. Tahapan pelaksanaan praktikum memiliki kriteriabaik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan praktikum materi organisasi kehidupan memiliki kriteria sangat baik dan permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan praktikum yaitu keterbatasan alat praktikum seperti mikroskop.Kata kunci: organisasi kehidupan, pelaksanaan praktikum, permasalahan praktikum

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determined the influence of discovery learning model to critical thinking and students' learning outcomes on ecosystem subject matter. The design of this research was control group pretest postest. The qualitative data were obtained through answers of students worksheet and students' perception which analyzed by descriptive. The quantitative data were obtained from pretest and postest which analyzed with t test and signification level of 1%. The result showed that average of percentage critical thinking skills on experiment class was higher than control class (experiment = 75,58%, good characterized; control = 70,08%, sufficient characterized). Students' learning outcomes on experiment class also infulenced significantly with average score of N-Gain (experiment = 65,06; control = 47,13). Besides that, all of students gave a positive responses to the discovery learning model. It could be concluded discovery learning model influenced to increasing critical thinking skills and students' learning outcomes on ecosystem subject matter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok ekosistem. Desain penelitian Control Group Pretest-Postest. Data penelitian data kualitatif diperoleh dari jawaban LKS dan persepsi siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari nilai pretest dan postest yang dianalisis menggunakan Uji t dengan taraf signifikasi 1%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata persentase kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (eksperimen = 75,58% dengan kriteria baik; kontrol = 70,08% dengan kriteria cukup). Hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen juga berpengaruh sangat signifikan dengan nilai rata-rata N-gain (eksperimen = 65,06; kontrol = 47,13). Kemudian, semua siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap model discovery learning. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok ekosistem.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, discovery learning, hasil belajar

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of using learning the model (TSTS) on students learning outcomes of human reproduction system material at class XI IPA SMAN 1 Sukadana Lampung Timur. The sample was class XI IPA I as experimental class and class XI IPA II as control class by purposive random sampling. The result of TSTS showed student learning outcomes, with an average value of pretest (28,53), posttest (69,6) N-gain (58,28). Class control outcomes had average value of pretest (23,65), posttest (56,99) N-gain (43,72). The increasing of learning result influenced by students learning. In the aspects of asking a question (64%), giving an answer (72%),giving opinion (76%). The result was same in control class. In the aspects of asking a question (57%), giving an answer (58%), and giving an opinion (67%). The conclusion is the using of TSTS learning model have influence towards students learning result and studentslerning activities.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran (TSTS) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok sistem reproduksi manusia kelas XI IPA SMAN 1 Sukadana Lampung Timur. Desain penelitian yang digunakan pretest postest kelompok tak ekuivalen sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI IPA1 kelas eksperimen I dan XI IPA2 kelas kontrol dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penggunaan model TSTS menunjukan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretes (28,53), postes (69,6)N-gain (58,28). Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol hasil belajar rata-rata nilai pretes (23,65), postes 56,99, N-gain (43,72). Meningkatnya hasil belajar juga dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas belajar siswa pada aspek bertanya (64%);menjawab pertanyaan (72%);mengungkapkan pendapat (76%). Hasil aktivitas belajar pada kelas control juga berkriteria cukup. Pada aspek bertanya 57% ,menjawab pertanyan 58% mengungkapkan pendapat 67%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa pengunaan model pembelajaran TSTS berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dan aktifitas belajar siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, sistem reproduksi manusia,Two Stay Two Stray

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe the teachers profile in the implementation of science learning based on curriculum 2013 of Junior High School in Bandar Lampung. There were 6 teachers samples taken from purposive sampling. Research data were qualitative data, consist of descriptions of implementation process of learning by the teachers. The observations sheets of the learning implementation were analyzed descriptively by comparing the standard processes and scientific approach. The results showed that the implementation of science teaching by teachers at class VII SMP in Bandar Lampung was in accordance with the standards process with average score of 66,41% in medium category and suitable with the scientific approach with average score of 53,33% in medium category. It could be concluded that the implementation of learning science based curriculum 2013 at the Junior High School in Bandar Lampung was in medium category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SMP Negeri di Bandar Lampung. Metode sampling yang digunakan secara purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 6 guru. Data penelitian adalah data kualitatif, berupa deskripsi proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru. Data diperoleh dari lembar instrumen pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan membandingkan dengan standar proses dan pendekatan saintifik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA oleh guru kelas VII SMP Negeri di Bandar Lampung telah sesuai dengan standar proses dengan skor rata-rata 66,41% berkategori sedang dan sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik dengan skor rata-rata 53,33% berkategori sedang. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SMP Negeri di Bandar Lampung berkategori sedang.Kata kunci: kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran IPA, standar proses, pendekatan saintifik

Abstract

Observation on 7th grade at Junior High School of 5th Bandar Lampung reveals that the critical thinking ability and the material mastery were not optimal due to teacher-centered oriented learning. Therefore it is necessary to develop media and learning model study. To resolve it, the research using audio-visual media and talking chips model was conducted. The research design that used in this research is pre-test post-test non-equivalent. Samples used are 7 D and 7F class chosen by cluster random sampling method. Quantitative data obtained from pretest and posttest scores and N-gain which analyzed using t-test. Qualitative data gained from questionnaire regarding student response on audio-visual media through talking chips model which analyzed descriptively. Result of the research reveals that the average of critical thinking skill and material mastery of subject matter of the experimental class on all indicators (critical thinking skills N-gain 26,79%, material mastery N- gain 28,46%). Moreover, 87.50% students give positive response on audio-visual media through talking chips learning model. Therefore, the using of audio-visual media through talking chips has a positive influence significant on increasing the critical thinking skill and material mastery of the student.  Keywords: audio-visual media, talking chips, critical thinking skill, material mastery.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was knowing the influence of the application of video media towards learning activity and mastery of lesson by using design pretest posttest not equivalent group. The sample of this research were the student of XI1 and XI2 class which was selected from the population by random sampling. A qualitative data was learning activity and it got by observation. A quantitative data was the mastery of lesson which obtained from the average score of pretest, posttest, and N-gain. The research result of students learning activity from the whole three aspect on the average of high criterion. The mastery of lesson also increased, with the average score of N-gain 0,71. Thus, it could be concluded that using video media in the teaching and learning process influenced towards learning activity and significant influenced towards the mastery of respiration system lesson by students.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media video terhadap aktivitas dan penguasaan materi dengan desain pretes postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas XI1 dan XI2 yang dipilih secara random sampling.  Data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif  berupa aktivitas belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa. Data kuantitatif berupa penguasaan materi yang diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa ketiga aspek tinjauan berkriteria tinggi. Penguasaan materi juga mengalami peningkatan dengan rata-rata N-gain 0,71. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan media video berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas belajar dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap penguasaan materi sistem pernapasan oleh siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, media video, penguasaan materi, dan sistem pernapasan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was the influence of using teaching aid leaflet to improve activities and material mastery of students. This study design was pretest-postest non equivalent group. Samples were VIIA  and VIIC  that chosen by cluster random sampling. This research data the form of qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data obtained  form the observatin sheet of learning activities and questionnaire leaflet teaching aid interesting  were analyzed decriptive. Quantitative data obtained from the average value of test were analyzed using U test. The results showed that learning activities increase was improve with an average of 84.52% which is in high criteria. Material mastery of students is also improve with average score of pretest (63,23); posttest (84,84), and N-gain (59,28). In addition, most students were gave high interested with used of teaching aid leaflet. Thus, it could  be concluded that learning use teaching aid leaflet was influenced significan to improve activities and material mastery of students.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar leaflet terhadap aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi oleh siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes-postes non ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIC  yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Data penelitian ini berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar dan lembar kemenarikan bahan ajar leaflet yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan rata-rata 84,52% dengan kriteria tinggi. Penguasaan materi pada siswa juga meningkat dengan rata-rata nilai pretest (63,23), postest (84,84), dan N-gain (59,28). Sebagian besar siswa memberikan ketertarikan yang tinggi terhadap penggunaan bahan ajar leaflet. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar leaflet berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas belajar dan penguasaan materi oleh siswa.  Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, bahan ajar leaflet, ekosistem, penguasaan materi

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the ability of the biology students FKIP Unila in developing assessment tools. Design study is a simple descriptive design. The study involved 19 students of biology FKIP Unila. Data were collected in the form of qualitative and quantitative data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the biology student assessment plan FKIP Unila in low category. Low ability students looked at the ability of plan types and forms of assessment and preparation of the grain problem.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa biologi FKIP Unila dalam mengembangkan perangkat penilaian. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain deskriptif sederhana. Penelitian ini melibatkan 19 mahasiswa biologi FKIP Unila. Data dikumpulkan dalam bentuk data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa biologi FKIP Unila dalam merencanakan penilaian berkategori rendah. Rendahnya kemampuan mahasiswa tampak pada kemampuan merencanakan jenis dan bentuk penilaian serta penyusunan butir soal.Kata kunci : biologi, kemampuan mahasiswa, perangkat penilaian

Abstract

Based on observations at Muhammadiyah Junior High School in Pekalongan, Lampung Timur shows that critical thinking skill of students is still low. This research was intended to increase the students activity and critical thinking skill through using discovery method. The design of the research was pretest-posttest non equivalent group design. The sample of this research were the students of VIIa and VIIc class which was chosen by purposive sampling. The qualitative data obtained from the observation sheet of learning activities of students were analyzed descriptive. The quantitative data obtained from the average value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain that were analyzed by the U test. The results showed that students activities in experiment class improved. The critical thinking skill of students also improved with average pretest score 49,86; posttest 76,64 and N-gain 48,52. Thus, it can be concluded that increasing of learning activities and critical thinking skill of students is influenced significan by using discovery method.Berdasarkan observasi di SMP Muhammadiyah Pekalongan, Lampung Timur, diketahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui metode diskoveri. Desain penelitian ini adalah desain pretes-postes kelompok tidak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIa dan VIIc yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa pada kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa juga mengalami peningkatan, dengan rata-rata pretes sebesar 49,86; postes sebesar 76,44 dan N-gain sebesar 48,52. Abstract

This experiment was aimed to find out the improvement of students activity and learning outcome in global warming subject matter through active learning model. The design of this experiment was non equivalent pretest-posttest. The samples were sudents in VII3 and VII4 class which were chosen by purposive sampling. The quantitative data were obtained from pretest, posttest, and N-gain score that was analyzed by t-test. The qualitative data were sudents learning activity that was analyzed descriptively. The result of this study showed that using active learning model can improved the study result (N-gain 65,36). Students learning activity in experimental class showed the average precentage of 77,08%, while in control class the average precentage of 54,46%. Thus, there was influence of active learning in improving the activity and student learning outcomes in global warming matter.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pemanasan global melalui model active learning.
