Abstract

This research aims to analyze the form of moral values formed in Aplha Generation children through traditional games that use songs and how these traditional games can be used to strengthen these moral values. This research was conducted in Seberang Ulu and Seberang Ilir Palembang for children of the Alpha generation. This research is a case study, which is part of qualitative research. Data collection methods are interviews and observation. Data sources include Palembang natives, male or female adults at least 30 years old, educated at least junior high school, knowledgeable about local culture, and have good memory speech. The research data include data on the form of the game and data on the moral values contained in the game. Data analysis was carried out with several stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the Angket-angket Periuk, Cup Mak Ilang, and Luk-luk Cino Buto games are Palembang traditional games that have nine forms of moral values, namely moral values of justice, responsibility, self-control, courage, honesty, trust, brotherhood, patience, and wisdom. Strengthening moral values in children occurs when children play, play, and play after playing.

Abstract

Daycare Permatahati merupakan sebuah tempat penitipan anak yang ditujukan untuk anak usia 3 bulan sampai usia 5 tahun. Program yang diberikan Daycare Permata Hati ini adalah pengasuhan dan pembelajaran yang berbasis islami, dan program kemandirian yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan generasi yang mandiri dan berakhlakul karimah. Di Daycare Permatahati memiliki suatu program pembelajaran yaitu program diniyah yang mana kegiatannya adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Praktek sholat, 2) Doa-doa Pendek, 3) Hadist Pendek, 4) Kalimat Thayyibah. Adapun tujuan dari program diniyah ini adalah Memberikan bekal ilmu pendidikan islam untuk menciptakan generasi yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlakul karimah. Selain itu program diniyah ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dan pendalaman mengenai pengetahuan agama islam, serta pembiasaan baik yang bertujuan untuk membentuk generasi yang berakhlakul karimah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan adalah Miles Huberman dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Setelah dilakukan analisis data maka diperoleh hasil bahwa implementasi program diniyah di Daycare Permatahati Palembang bagi orang tua dan pendidik sudah terlaksana dengan baik dalam membentuk karakter religi anak usia 4-5 tahun. Jadi, pelaksanaan program diniyah yang dilakukan oleh pendidik berdampak baik pada sebagian peserta didik yang mengikuti program pembelajaran.

Abstract

Various educational problems in Indonesia can be studied by supervising education. Educational supervision is a process of assistance and support given to teachers in developing their abilities consisting of knowledge, skills, and creativity in teaching and commitment or motivation as a teacher. This study aims to examine and describe the source of authority for implementing educational supervision. This research is a literature study research. The results of this study state that in its implementation, the source of authority for the implementation of educational supervision in schools is carried out by the Principal or school supervisor, called a supervisor, who serves as a supervisor and controller of teacher performance. This supervision and control is carried out so that the teacher does not deviate from the role of teacher or educator. Based on the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003, the principal or school supervisor supervises to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. In this case, the principal or school supervisor is an illustration that a supervisor must have an official position that has authority or authority in supervising education.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the significance of Melayu Riau customary marriage as a medium for integrating Islamic values and contemporary social identity amidst modernization. The research aims to explore the ritual practices of customary marriage and their impact on social identity formation in the Melayu community. It employs a qualitative approach using library research methods. The population includes academic literature, historical documents, and regulations relevant to the topic, with purposive sampling from 2011-2025. Data collection instruments comprised documentation techniques, with content and descriptive analysis to examine patterns of Islamic value and cultural integration. Findings reveal that Melayu Riau customary marriage preserves Islamic values while adapting to modern demands, fostering a hybrid social identity that is both Sharia-compliant and adaptive. The conclusion emphasizes that this tradition serves as a crucial bridge for cultural and religious harmony and social legitimacy for younger generations, yet strategic support is necessary for sustainable preservation and development.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya kapasitas promosi digital dan lemahnya citra kelembagaan pada Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Swasta (PTKIS), khususnya di wilayah VII Sumatera Selatan, berdampak menurunnya minat calon mahasiswa. Kondisi ini menjadi isu strategis yang memerlukan solusi inovatif melalui penguatan strategi komunikasi, digital branding, dan kolaborasi kelembagaan. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi pimpinan PTKIS dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan strategi promosi digital yang efektif, membangun citra kelembagaan yang profesional dan bernuansa Islami, serta memperkuat jejaring kerja sama antarpengelola perguruan tinggi sebagai fondasi peningkatan daya saing jangka panjang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop interaktif dan pendampingan strategis yang diselenggarakan di Ballroom UIN Raden Fatah Palembang pada 8 Oktober 2025, dengan pendekatan participatory action learning. Data dikumpulkan melalui   wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan pimpinan PTKIS dan Koordinator Perguruan Tinggi Keagmaan Islam Wilayah (Kopertais) VII Sumatera Selatan, kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan literasi digital pimpinan PTKIS sebesar 32%, khususnya pada pemahaman strategi digital branding, pengelolaan media sosial institusi, dan keinginan untuk pemanfaatan platform digital untuk promosi penerimaan mahasiswa baru. Selain itu, 85% peserta menyatakan kesiapan institusinya untuk mengimplementasikan strategi promosi digital terintegrasi, dan 78% peserta berkomitmen menyusun langkah strategis promosi digital kelembagaan secara berkelanjutan. Secara jangka panjang, program ini diproyeksikan berkontribusi pada peningkatan visibilitas PTKIS di tingkat regional dan nasional, serta berpotensi mendorong pertumbuhan jumlah pendaftar mahasiswa baru melalui penguatan reputasi dan eksistensi digital masing masing perguruan tinggi. Implikasi kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa transformasi promosi digital berbasis nilai-nilai Islam, didukung kolaborasi kelembagaan yang berkelanjutan menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan daya saing, reputasi, dan keberlanjutan PTKIS menuju kampus unggul yang berdaya saing global. Digital Promotion Strategy and Strengthening University Image Towards a Competitive Global Campus Abstract This community service activity is motivated by the limited digital promotion capacity and weak institutional image of Private Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIS), particularly in Region VII of South Sumatra, which has resulted in declining interest from prospective students. This condition has become a strategic issue that requires innovative solutions through strengthening communication strategies, digital branding, and institutional collaboration. The objective of this activity is to improve the competence of PTKIS leaders in designing and implementing effective digital promotion strategies, building a professional and Islamic-nuanced institutional image, and strengthening collaborative networks among higher education administrators as a foundation for increasing long-term competitiveness. The activity was carried out in the form of an interactive workshop and strategic mentoring held at the Ballroom of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang on October 8, 2025, using a participatory action learning approach. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with PTKIS leaders and the Coordinator of Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (Kopertais) VII in South Sumatra. These were then analyzed qualitatively and descriptively using triangulation techniques. The evaluation results showed a 32% increase in digital literacy among PTKIS leaders, particularly in their understanding of digital branding strategies, institutional social media management, and their desire to utilize digital platforms for new student admissions promotions. Furthermore, 85% of participants stated their institutions' readiness to implement an integrated digital promotion strategy, and 78% committed to developing strategic steps for sustainable institutional digital promotion. In the long term, this program is projected to contribute to increasing the visibility of PTKIS at the regional and national levels, and has the potential to drive growth in the number of new student applicants by strengthening the reputation and digital presence of each university. The implications of this activity emphasize that digital promotion transformation based on Islamic values, supported by ongoing institutional collaboration, is a crucial strategy for enhancing the competitiveness, reputation, and sustainability of PTKIS towards becoming superior, globally competitive campuses

Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of Malay Islamic education in shaping the moderate character of Muslims in a pluralistic and multicultural society. Malay Islamic education is a system that integrates Islamic teachings with Malay cultural values such as tawasuth (balance), tawazun (harmony), i'tidal (justice), tasamuh (tolerance), musawah (equality), and shura (deliberation). Through a holistic approach encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, these values of moderation are instilled in educational environments such as madrasahs (Islamic schools), Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), and families. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach to examine the contribution of Malay Islamic education in internalizing the values of religious moderation. The results indicate that Malay Islamic education serves not only as a means of transmitting knowledge but also as a bulwark against radicalism and intolerance, as well as a key pillar in building a harmonious, just, and civilized society.

Abstract

The Jawi Books, an essential component of Islamic teachings in Southeast Asia, plays a vital role in cultural and religious education. Its study in Palembang, Indonesia, provides insights into the processes of cultural reproduction and adaptation within a contemporary context. This qualitative research explores the teaching methods, motivations, and cultural implications associated with studying the Jawi Books in Palembang. The methodology includes interviews with local scholars, observations of teaching sessions, and an analysis of the content and usage of the Jawi Book in various religious assemblies. The research discovered that the primary motivation for studying the Jawi Books is to aid local congregations in understanding Arabic texts. Despite its historical roots, the Jawi Books remains a significant source of religious knowledge, supported by a strong network of scholars across regions such as Kalimantan, Aceh, Malaysia, and Thailand. The teaching methods are varied, combining traditional approaches like the talaqqi method with modern digital platforms, including YouTube. The study uncovers a symbolic power struggle in the interpretation between Hadromaut and local Palembang clerics, suggesting widespread cultural assimilation. The study of the Jawi Books in Palembang is a prime example of cultural reproduction, adapting traditional Islamic teachings to contemporary needs and contexts, which is crucial for maintaining the relevance and transmission of religious knowledge across generations. These findings underscore the importance of local interpretations and teaching methods in preserving cultural and religious identities in an increasingly globalized world.
