Abstract

This article is a type of qualitative research using data collection techniques, namely documentation and interviews which discuss the impact of Cheng Ho Mosque for the sociocultural relations of Chinese Muslims with various parties in Indonesia. Before the construction of the Cheng Ho Mosque, being a Chinese Muslim in Indonesia was more difficult than being a Chinese. Chinese Muslims are like a minority within a minority and find very difficult to establish relationships with other non-Chinese Muslim groups in Indonesia. Likewise, his relationship with the Chinese ethnic group itself is very limited. This article finds, the presence of the Cheng Ho mosque has a new impact on the lives of Chinese Muslim today. The existence of Chinese Muslim has been widely known by the public. Both in social and cultural activities began to be widely known and understood. The relations with various parties are very good. The existence of Chinese Muslims can become a mediator in connecting and solve the problem among various parties like Nahdlatul Ulama, Muhammadiyah, academics, Chinese consulate general, non-Muslim Chinese communities, and other ethnic communities in Surabaya, East Java. Even indirectly have an impact on China’s public Diplomacy in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article is the result of a qualitative field research. This research is a legal sociology research. This article discusses the neglect of livelihoods that occurred in Gedang Hamlet, Tambakrejo Village. Researcher analyzes the research data with fiqh theory and the Undang-undang Perkawinan No.1 1974. The findings of this study are that the neglect of livelihood that occurs in Gedang Hamlet, Tambakrejo Village is included in the category of violation of the income obligation, it can even be included as domestic violence. There are two things to be argued. Ms. LM's husband has not given her a living for 6 months, the second is that Mrs. LM's husband often comes home at night, sometimes even for several days he does not come home. fiqh clearly mentions the categories of earning a living, although with many variations. All fiqh differences of opinion about the limits of living were violated by LM's mother's husband. Law No. 23 of 2004 was also violated in terms of fulfilling the husband's support for his wife. Abstract

Da'wah strategy innovation is needed in the midst of various challenges. This paper examines the phenomenon of preaching by Ustadh Abi Azkakia (preacher) in the perspective of Erving Goffman's dramaturgical theory. The Ustadh carried out da'wah through the Mobile Legends game in a unique way of preaching. This study uses a textual qualitative research analysis method with a case study type. The results of this study indicate that the preacher conveys his da'wah message through the Mobile Legends game interspersed with jokes and attracts many young fans called the Assembly of Nurul Legends gaming congregation. The average Mobile Legends gamer says harshly, with this preaching it makes these words good words. The preacher shows himself as an example from the way he interacts with his missionary partners, the way he talks, dresses politely, to a simple way of life. This research contributes to the development of da'wah dramaturgy studies, but this research has limited data which is only analyzed based on literature data. ***Inovasi strategi dalam berdakwah sangat diperlukan di tengah berbagai tantangan. Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang fenomena dakwah Ustadh Abi Azkakia (pendakwah) dalam perspektif teori dramaturgi Erving Goffman. Ustadh tersebut melakukan dakwah melalui permainan Mobile Legends dengan cara dakwah yang unik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis penelitian kualitatif tekstual dengan jenis studi kasus. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pendakwah menyampaikan pesan dakwahnya melalui permainan Mobile Legends dengan diselingi candaan dan menarik banyak penggemar muda yang bernama jamaah gaming Majelis Nurul Legends. Rata-rata gamers Mobile Legends berkata kasar, dengan adanya dakwah ini membuat perkataan tersebut menjadi perkataan yang baik. Pendakwah menunjukkan dirinya sebagai teladan dari caranya berinteraksi dengan mitra dakwah, cara-cara berbicara, berpakaian yang sopan, hingga cara hidup yang sederhana. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan pengembangan kajian dramaturgi dakwah, namun penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan data yang hanya dianalisis berdasarkan data literatur.

Abstract

Mustad’afin Theology in Indonesia is the new face of  al-Ma’un theology initiated by the Ahmad Dahlan. It eventually accumulates with more extensive issues and involves partnerships with other parties in order to achieve its praxis strategy. The basic assumption of  this theology is that the practice of  worship must be directly related to social concerns, with a foundation of monotheism that manifests itself  into the realm of  praxis. This finally leads to the key words of “social unity” and “social rituals” which are then developed in the context of contemporary nationhood and statehood in Indonesia. Moreover, its epistemology primarily comes from: (1) Wahhabi-Salafi ideology of  Rashid Rida, (2) the idea of    education reform of  Muhammad ‘Abduh, and (3) theology of al-Ma’un of Ahmad  Dahlan. These three basic epistemologies are equipped with a significant adaptation to seven factors, in order to be accepted as a theology of  liberators movement in Indonesia. The performance of  Mustad’afin theology is a theology that does social defense for the following conditions: (1) oppression of faith, (2) retardation, (3) suffering of economic and social status, (4) moral suffering, and (5) the threat of theologies and the existence of Indonesia. Finally, it implies the necessity of  Mustad’afin Islamic Jurisprudence to regulate the conduct of  worship and social community. Furthermore, the exclusive part of  Wahhabi-Salafi Islamic jurisprudence is no longer posed.

Abstract

Kidung Walisanga is a collection of Indonesian cultural heritage famous with Dhandang Gendis/Dhandang Gula. Dhandang ghendis Kidung Artati was authored by Walisanga as a medium of education and Islamic call that emphasizes the cultural basis of people as the objects. This is a kind of tasawuf education that consists of three elements: (1) concept of human being life journey, (2) journey to a perfect life, and (3) achieved result. The first two elements are got by mediation medium to utilize a pure energy in reaching a psychological effect, i.e. a purified sole and peaceful heart. While the third, emphasizes on pragmatic uses such as self protection from dangers and possessing supernatural heirloom. From linguistic perspective, kidung emphasizes on sanepan (metaphor) style. While from art perspective, it has a creative, individualization, and harmonization elements. From philosophical perspective, it has axiological values emphasizing pragmatic uses in the world. Beside all of that, there is an important element of tasawuf which is not included in kidung, i.e. guide role. Kidung, finally, is walisanga’s cultural approach model in education and Islamic call which is primarily based on community cultural basis, thus, kidung nuance shows a style fcultural Islam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena fundamentalisme yang berkembang di Indonesia yaitu HTI. Kelompok tersebut pernah dilarang, namun masih marak menyampaikan pesan-pesan dakwah dan pahamnya dengan cara yang tidak lagi sama dengan menggunakan komunitas dakwah remaja bernama Yuk Ngaji. Problem tersebut, berwujud beberapa persoalan yang mendorong penelitian ini, yaitu: (1) Apa pesan dakwah yang disampaikan kepada mitra dakwah pada komunitas Yuk Ngaji? (2) Bagaimana pemahaman mitra dakwah atas pesan yang disampaikan tentang Islam oleh para Pendakwah komunitas Yuk Ngaji? Dan (3) Bagaimana perubahan arus dakwah Felix Siauw dalam membangun pemikiran tentang Islam kepada mitra dakwah? Fokus utama penelitian ini melihat urgensi dan eksitensi komunitas Yuk Ngaji berdakwah di Indonesia sebagai gerakan dakwah Felix Siauw. Sesuai dengan persoalan tersebut, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif lapangan dan teks media, dengan pendekatan analisis fenomenologis dan etnografi. Perspektif teoritis penelitian menggunakan pendekatan dakwah M. Abu al-Fath al-Bayanuni dan Moh. Ali Aziz, serta gabungan teori dakwah lainnya, dengan pendekatan ilmu komunikasi kontemporer. Metode yang peneliti gunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi berbagai aktivitas dakwah komunitas Yuk Ngaji. Terdapat tiga poin temuan dalam penelitian ini. Pertama, pelbagai pesan dakwah Yuk Ngaji tipologi untuk menegakan syariat Islam yang memiliki kemiripan dengan pemahaman pada Hizbut Tahrir. Pesan dakwah disampaikan pada mitra dakwah sesuai dengan kategorisasinya yaitu partisipan dan member. Kedua, pemahaman mitra dakwah tentang Islam dibangun dengan beberapa proses agar mereka memahami pesan-pesan dakwah para pendakwah. Ketiga, Felix Siauw menunjukkan perubahan arus dakwahnya dengan tidak banyak menonjolkan menegakan negara Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

The more advanced the age then, the way of delivering the message also becomes more modern and follows the trend that evolves amongst society. The same is true of the preachers who have different methods so that their message can be accepted by their mad. In this rapid development of technology, many electronic media can be used as a means of distribution of fame like YouTube, Tik tok, Instagram, Facebook, and so on. This research was used to find out the method of praise of Ning Umi Laila in her YouTube video entitled "Mothers Luweh Pleased Studying Opo Rasan-rasan". In this process, the author uses qualitative research using methods of content analysis. Primary and secondary data collection techniques. The result of the study this time shows that Ning Umi Laila is one of the women who are still said to be fairly young, but even so, his teachings can be accepted in all categories because the teaching method used is the teaching methods bill of things that is the compatibility of behavior to be followed, Mauidzah Hasanah that is gentleness in speaking words, Bil Hikmah that is teaching the way of God by using wisdom, and the last one is his teaching while using Islamic songs and Sholawat as the method of teaching, it is done so that his teaches do not get bored and revive the spirit of the listeners (mad’u).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the public's response to education and prevention of COVID-19 on Instagram social media @satgascovididijatim and to find out the effectiveness of Instagram social media as a medium to convey information to the public. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological analysis perspective. Research data obtained by the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. There are two points from this research. First, the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) of East Java Province educates and prevents COVID-19 through the @satgascovididijatim Instagram account to the public, especially the people of East Java, to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. Second, the community provides three forms of response; cognitive, affective, and behavioral. The response stated that the Instagram account @satgascovididijatim is one of the effective media in delivering educational messages and preventing COVID-19 to the public via Instagram social media.
