Abstract

Individuals conducting commercial transactions must carefully weigh-in determining factors prior to sales purchases, either related to goods or pricing. After all, matters are secured, the involved parties can advance with a sales purchase agreement.  Nonetheless, a transaction can typically be canceled post an agreement, due to circumspection on part of the seller or buyer, who is allowed to annul his/her initial plan. Islamic Sharia gives rights to transaction cancellation or activation, and this concept is called “Khiyār”. Various mazhab (Islamic schools of jurisprudence) give consent to Khiyār and its enabling guidelines.  An example is in a case of defective products or discrepancy on the merchant's original product description, etc.  However, depending on the individual situations, all mazhab can either have consensus or disagreement on the nature of Khiyār.  This paper emphasizes the debates due to its relevancy in today’s market, which warrants further development into broader consumer protection.  A qualitative methodology is used for comparison between various mazhab relating to Khiyār based on Fiqh literature. a Khiyār becomes a right for both the seller and buyer.  But, depending on each unique condition, it can also be invalidated.

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل تغير المناخ والأثر السلبي للأضرار البيئية. هذه الدراسة عبارة عن مراجعة للأدبيات ، كلاسيكية ومعاصرة. الطريقة المستخدمة هي طريقة نوعية ذات منهج وصفي من خلال جمع الأحاديث المتعلقة بالبيئة. وجدت نتائج الدراسة أن درجة حرارة الهواء تزداد دفئًا ، وتغير المناخ موزع بالتساوي ، وتلوث الهواء في كل مكان ، وظهور أمراض أو فيروسات مختلفة دليل على أن البيئة (الأرض) قد تضررت. يبدأ الضرر في الواقع من السلوك البشري نفسه. الظواهر الطبيعية ليست سوى تأثير الضرر البشري. الطبيعة متاحة لرفاهية الإنسان ، يسيء استخدامها عدد قليل من البشر لإشباع رغباتهم على حساب المزيد من البشر. الاستنتاج الذي تم التوصل إليه هو أن الاكتشافات العلمية الحديثة تتماشى مع محتوى الحديث النبوي ، حتى قول الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم يسبق الاكتشافات العلمية الحديثةالكلمات المفتاحية: بيئة; حماية; السنة الشريعة الإسلامية; الاحتباس الحرارىABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze climate change and the negative impact of environmental damage. This study is a literature review, classical and contemporary. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach by collecting hadiths related to the environment. The results of the study found that the air temperature is getting warmer, climate change is evenly distributed, air pollution is everywhere, the emergence of various diseases or viruses is evidence that the environment (earth) has been damaged. The damage actually starts from human behavior itself. Natural phenomena are only the impact of human damage. Nature is available for human welfare, abused by a few humans to satisfy their desires at the expense of more humans. The conclusion obtained is that modern scientific findings are in line with the content of the Prophet's hadith, even the Prophet's statement precedes modern scientific findings.

Abstract

Gerakan dakwah di Indonesia masih sering diwarnai dengan praktik-praktik intoleransi. Oleh karena itu penting untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif kepada para penyebar dakwah tentang nilai-nilai toleransi, dan menghargai perbedaan sehingga tidak menimbulkan kegaduhan ditengah-tengah masyarakat. Maka dalam penelitian ini akan berusaha mengkaji secara mendalam konsep toleransi dalam dakwah M. Natsir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) dan pendekatan historis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep toleransi dalam dakwah M. Natsir terimplementasikan pada tiga sasaran dakwah, yaitu dakwah kepada sesama Muslim, terdiri dari: Mencari titik persamaan sebaga titik tolak dakwah, tidak menonjolkan masalah khilafiyah dan menghindari konfrontasi, dan membangun kedekatan dengan mad’u. Dakwah kepada umat Kristen terdiri dari: Bantahan ilmiah terhadap ajaran dan propoganda Kristen, mensosialisasikan Islam yang rahmatan lil ‘alamīn, Mencari titik persamaan, dan mengusulkan modus vivendi. Dan dakwah M. Natsir dalam dunia politik dan pemerintahan terdiri dari: Toleransi terhadap pancasila, toleransi tentang Islam sebagai dasar negara, mosi integral sebagai salah satu bukti toleransi Natsir dan toleransi Natsir kepada lawan-lawan politiknya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena budaya latah di negeri muslim, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat muslim dalam konteks globalisasi dan menemukan strategi untuk menghadapinya. Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif, yaitu metode yang lebih bergantung pada data-data linguistik dibanding data-data numerik dan menggunakan basis meaning dalam analisis data. Strategi pendidikan Qur'ani yang diterapkan sejak dini sangat penting untuk menanggulangi budaya latah di negeri Muslim. Dengan membangun karakter yang kuat, mengembangkan pemikiran kritis, dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Qur'ani dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, generasi muda dapat dilengkapi dengan alat yang diperlukan untuk menjaga identitas mereka dan tidak terjebak dalam budaya luar yang tidak sesuai. Pendidikan Qur’ani yang efektif dan menyeluruh akan membantu mereka tumbuh menjadi individu yang memahami dan menghargai budaya mereka, sekaligus mampu menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dengan bijak.

Abstract

This research explores and develops new theories about the trends of the contemporary Muslimah da'wah movement in building Sakinah, Mawaddah, and Rahmah families in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, this research explores the concepts, strategies, and patterns of da'wah used by the Muslimah da'wah movement in building Islamic family resilience, namely sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah families. The result of this research is that the concept of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah family used by the Muslimah da'wah movement refers to QS. ar-Rūm: 21 is not clear, especially the aspect of mawaddah so that it has an impact on the da'wah movement which includes elements and also management of building a sakinah, mawaddah and rahmah family. This can be seen in the imbalance in the distribution of da'wah materials, especially those related to sex education and husband and wife relationships in the family. Sex education and healthy interaction or behavior of husband and wife as an integral part of da'wah can provide positive input for the family. The collaboration of social media with formal and non-formal education in stages by including family sciences in the curriculum is needed to help individuals internalize religious values, facilitate deeper understanding, and stimulate spiritual reflection in the family.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop the concept of da'wah in building superior generational character and da'wah strategies in building superior generational character to realize the ideals of Golden Indonesia 2045. This method uses qualitative research categorized as explanatory analysis with sociological, anthropological, philosophical, and psychological approaches. The data collection technique in this research is library research related to the problem under study. The results of this study indicate that building superior generational character towards the ideals of the Golden Indonesia 2045 requires the right strategy; therefore, da'wah and strategy development in character building from the Qur'anic perspective is the answer to the formation of a generation with superior character. “The Living Qur'an,” Muhammad Rasulullah SAW, is a figure of superior and complete character in the aspects of hard skills and skills, a model of human life in all dimensions: ideology, education, politics, economics, social, cultural, and state. Character is a behavior formed from the synergy of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor, which is inherent and spontaneous, as well as the uniqueness of each individual. A person's character is formed by primary factors; faith, and secondary factors; family, educational institutions/schools, environment and government policies. Character is a combination of a person's soft skills and hard skills competencies. The results of this study also develop the concept of da'wah specifically in realizing the Golden Indonesia 2045, namely amar ma'ruf nahi munkar through the formation of superior character of the millennial-zillennial generation with the Islamic character paradigm, where the Prophet Muhammad is a role model, a figure who is proven and tested for success throughout the ages, with universal character values. Superior character building towards Golden Indonesia 2024 is carried out through exemplary advice, direction, prohibition, orders, self-concept education (values education), habituation, consistency, and sustainability. Da'wah in shaping the superior character of the millennial-zillennial generation is carried out with 21st-century learning strategies, namely mad'u-centered learning and contextual teaching & learning, by integrating aspects of high-order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

This article examines the thoughts and approaches of Robert Gleave in the study of Islamic law, focusing on criticizing his methodology and epistemology. As an orientalist, Gleave adopts a philological and historical approach in researching Islamic law, especially in the Shia tradition. This approach has been criticized by various Muslim scholars for ignoring the normative and transcendental aspects of Islamic law. Moreover, Gleave's skepticism towards classical sources of Islamic law raises questions regarding the validity of his approach in understanding Islamic law as a revelation-based system. The paper also discusses Gleave's bias in interpreting Islamic hermeneutics as well as the limitations of his analysis in applying Islamic law in the context of contemporary Muslim life. Using the perspective of Islamic epistemology, this paper concludes that Gleave's approach needs to be examined more critically so that it is not only Western academically oriented but also respects the principles of Islamic law held by Muslims.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of Persia on the development of Shia Islam, particularly from a political perspective, focusing on the roles of the Safavid and Qajar dynasties. The Safavid Dynasty (1501–1736), founded by Ismail I, established the Imami sect as the state religion, uniting various tribes and ethnic groups in Persia and strengthening a national identity rooted in Shia Islam. The legacy of this dynasty is evident in its grand architectural achievements and literary contributions that enriched Persian culture. Subsequently, the Qajar Dynasty (late 18th to early 20th century) continued to play a strategic role in consolidating Shia Islam's position. Initiated by Agha Mohammed Khan Qajar, this dynasty unified Persia’s territories and elevated the role of religious scholars as key figures in society. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach to analyze how these two dynasties institutionalized Shia Islam as the state religion and a cornerstone of national identity. Key findings reveal that the Safavid and Qajar dynasties played crucial roles in establishing Persia as the global center of Shia thought and practice, significantly impacting the geopolitical dynamics of the Islamic world. This influence solidified Persia’s position as a global hub for Shia Islam and reinforced its identity within the Islamic political landscape to the present day.

Abstract

Maritime communities have distinctive social, cultural, and economic characteristics, such as high mobility, close solidarity, dependence on marine resources, and coastal cultural diversity. This context demands contextual, inclusive, and participatory da'wah methods so that Islamic values ​​can be effectively accepted. This research aims to describe the appropriate da'wah approach method for maritime communities, emphasizing the principles of hikmah (wisdom), mauidhah hasanah (good deeds), and mujadalah bi al-lati hiya ahsan (good deeds), which are adaptive to local religious wisdom. Recommended da'wah methods include contextual lectures in local languages, role models or uswah hasanah (good examples), dialogue and deliberation with Da'i (preachers), a cultural approach to Mad'u (leaders), social services for religious education and economic improvement, innovative media such as community radio, and eco-da'wah that emphasizes marine environmental sustainability. With this approach, da'wah not only functions as a medium for spreading religious teachings, but can also be an instrument for community empowerment, cultural preservation, and protection of marine ecosystems. This study emphasizes the importance of sustainable, humanistic, and contextual da'wah strategies in building a religious, prosperous, and environmentally conscious maritime society.
