Abstract

Background: The implementation of Electronic Medical Records (RME) in healthcare facilities still faces a high failure rate, with more than 50% of RME systems not being used optimally. Sawah Besar Hospital, which began implementing RME in August 2023, recorded 1,500 cases of errors in a year, with 60% of system errors and 30% of user errors. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the intention of using RME by nurses by integrating the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). This quantitative research uses a census method by involving 70 nurses as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and attitude toward use simultaneously affected the intention to use RME (F=77.917, p<0.05). Attitude toward use acts as a mediator in the relationship between perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness to the intention to use RME. These findings have important implications for hospital management in optimizing the implementation of RME through improving technical aspects and forming positive user attitudes.

Abstract

Manual essay assessment is time-consuming and subjective. This study proposes an automated evaluation system using a linear regression algorithm to improve efficiency and objectivity. The model analyzes linguistic and structural features such as word count, sentence length, word complexity, and grammatical patterns. The dataset consists of student essay scored by tutors  as training references. Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques are applied to extract linguistic features and map reference scores using linear regression. The system helps instructors provide more consistent and efficient feedback while reducing subjectivity in grading. Additionally, this approach enhances assessment scalability, making it applicable to large numbers of essays. However, the model has limitations, particularly in understanding deep contextual meaning, creativity, and argument coherence. Future improvements may integrate advanced NLP models to enhance comprehension. Despite its limitations, this system presents a valuable step toward automated essay assessment in education

Abstract

Insider threats currently represent one of the most critical and elusive cybersecurity risks for organizations, as perpetrators already possess legitimate authorized access to the system. Traditional security architectures focusing solely on perimeter defense have proven inadequate in containing lateral movement within database networks, potentially leading to large-scale sensitive data breaches. This research aims to design and implement a granular access control mechanism in MySQL to mitigate such threats. The study proposes a proactive mitigation strategy through the implementation of Row-Level Security (RLS) integrated with a Zero Trust framework. The methodology employs applied experimental research by constructing a controlled simulated database environment. The control mechanism is designed using View-based Access Control to filter data dynamically based on user session identity, and is validated through three specific threat scenarios: mass data exfiltration, horizontal privilege escalation, and vertical prerogative exploitation. Testing results demonstrate that this implementation significantly succeeds in restricting data visibility; in the exfiltration scenario, users could only access 1,500 out of 10,000 data rows, strictly adhering to their authorized scope. Although a computational overhead with an average latency increase of 20,7% was observed, it remains well within the acceptable performance threshold (<30%), ensuring that the principle of least privilege is absolutely enforced without compromising operational efficiency.
