Abstract

Pentingnya memilih bahan bacaan untuk memahami format prosa dengan mempertimbangkan teks, jenis kalimat, dan konteks bacaan yang sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan dan minat siswa atau mahasiswa. Rumus keterbacaan digunakan untuk menilai tingkat kesulitan suatu teks, sementara materi ajar yang autentik diperlukan untuk memperoleh metrik keterbacaan terutama dalam bahasa Inggris. Penggunaan meteri autentik, tampilan antarmuka, dan pengalaman pengguna dalam suatu aplikasi dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa dan mahasiswa dalam memperluas wawasan mereka. Pada era teknologi saat ini, kemajuan teknologi informasi dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, buruknya perancangan User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) sering kali menjadi salah satu problematika dalam memanfaatkan kemudahan teknologi informasi, khususnya penggunaan sistem berbasis web. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design Thinking, yang melibatkan tahapan-tahapan seperti Emphatize (Empati), Define (Penetapan), Ideate (Ide), Prototype (Prototipe), dan Test (Uji coba), untuk membangun perancangan prototipe UI/UX pada aplikasi Readability Analyzer. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah prototipe UI/UX yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengguna dalam menggunakan aplikasi Readability Analyzer. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan suatu rancangan prototype UI/UX desain untuk aplikasi Readability Analyzer dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna.

Abstract

Information and communication technology has evolved into a tool used to facilitate various tasks across society, including in civil registration services. However, in this study, issues were identified in the process of applying for birth and death certificates, as the current procedure remains complex and requires in-person visits to government offices with complete documentation. This research aims to develop a specialized application for birth and death certificate registration. The application will be integrated with village officers, thereby reducing the need for physical visits to government offices. The development of this application follows the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method, which involves four main phases: Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition, and utilizes Unified Modeling Language (UML) for system architecture modeling, including use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. The resulting application is a web-based platform using REST API technology to connect with the population data server, and it is equipped with a notification service feature to facilitate message and information delivery to the public when applying for birth or death certificate services.

Abstract

Hydrocephalus disease is a rare condition that generally occurs in children under 5 years old, although adults can also be affected. It is important to develop an expert system that can help diagnose, prevent and provide treatment solutions for this disease. This research uses the Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) methodology and forward chaining inference method, and conducts testing with Blackbox Testing. The result is an expert system that can diagnose early symptoms of hydrocephalus, offer prevention recommendations, and treatment solutions, thus helping patients detect this condition early and reducing costs and consultation time.

Abstract

The function of a company profile is as a company information media that can be accessed by anyone, both employees and the wider community. However, a company profile that still has shortcomings and obstacles requires a system that accommodates company profile information that can run dynamically. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to design and build a company profile website for PT. CASSAVA INFRA MEDIA. This Company Profile was developed using the Scrum Model methodology with the stages used being Product backlog, Sprint planning, Sprint backlog, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint restropective. The framework used for this website is CodeIgniter with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The results of this study are a company profile website product as a media for information and promotional services so that it can improve the quality of the company.

Abstract

Tantangan Bebras merupakan kegiatan kompetisi secara daring (online). Kegiatan ini bertujuan agar siswa belajar Computational Thinking selama maupun setelah lomba. Tantangan Bebras menyajikan soal-soal yang mendorong siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan kritis dalam menyelesaikan persoalan dengan menerapkan konsep-konsep berpikir komputasional. Program Studi Teknik Informatika Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut merupakan salah satu Mitra/Biro National Board Organization Bebras Indonesia yang menyelenggarakan tantangan ini sejak Tahun 2016. Pelaksanaan Tantangan Bebras di Kabupaten Garut diikuti oleh sekolah-sekolah mulai dari tingkat dasar, menengah sampai atas. Hasil Tantangan menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa-siswa sekolah di Kabupaten Garut.

Abstract

THEMATIC KKN is an activity with a background in community service. This service is of course aligned with the background of the community in the area where the KKN is carried out. The background of the community in the KKN area of ”‹”‹Wanajaya village Most of the population are MSME managers, breeders and laborers. With this data, an increase in productivity in their business activities is an important thing to explore. Then the increase in productivity must be accompanied by an increase in human resources which basically in this day and age must be able to operate technology that contains information and be able to communicate it properly. In this way, the work program carried out aims to improve business capabilities with qualified human resources. The program is carried out in 4 stages, namely the observation stage, the socialization stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. In the socialization stage it produces data on human resources who have experienced an increase in digital knowledge of 435 people and the evaluation stage produces an effect of increasing community productivity in processing a product in the form of BOKASI fertilizer.

Abstract

Seiring dengan semakin banyaknya mitra serta volume pesanan pada platformPituku menjadikan pihak perusahaan kesulitan dalam menentukan pengepul limbah yang cocok untuk menangani suatu pesanan. Idealnya, pengepul yang dipilih merupakan pengepul yang terletak paling dekat secara geografis dengan pemesan limbah sehingga biaya pengiriman dapat di minimalkan dan pemesan dapat segera menerima limbah pesananannya. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem rekomendasi yang dapat merekomendasikan daftar pengepul limbah yang diurutkan dari yang paling dekat ke pembeli limbah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem rekomendasi pemilihan pengepul limbah di PT. Pituku Cordova International yang dapat membantu merekomendasikan daftar pengepul limbah yang diurutkan dari yang paling dekat dengan pembeli limbah sehingga proses pemilihan pengepul limbah menjadi lebih efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rapid Throwaway Prototyping Modelyang dimana tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi outline requirements, develop protoype, evaluate prototype, specify system, develop software, dan validate system. Algoritma Haversine formuladigunakan dalam sistem rekomendasi dimana koordinat garis lintang dan garis bujur dihitung untuk mendapatkan jarak antara pembeli dan pengepul limbah dalam satuan km kemudian berdasarkan jarak tersebut daftar pengepul limbah diurutkan dari yang paling dekat ke yang paling jauh. Metrik evaluasi menggunakan NDCG (Normalized Discounted Cumulative Gain) yangmengukur akurasi rangkingsistem rekomendasi. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasidiperoleh informasi bahwasistem rekomendasi memiliki score NDCG rata-rata sebesar 1 yang artinya sistem rekomendasi memberikan item rekomendasi dengan rangkingyang diharapkan

Abstract

Stemming is a technique to return the word derivation to the root or base word. Stemming is widely used for data processing such as searching word indexes, translating, and information retrieval from a document in the database. In general, stemming uses a morphological pattern from a derived word to produce the original word or root word.  In the previous research, this technique faced over-stemming and under-stemming problems. In this study, the stemming process will be improved by the syllable pattern (canonical) based on the phonological rule in Sundanese. The stemming result for syllable patterns gets an accuracy of 89% and the execution of the test data resulted in 95% from all the basic words. This simple algorithm has the advantage of being able to adjust the position of the syllable pattern with the word to be stemmed. Due to some data shortage constraints (typo, loan-word, non-deterministic word with syllable pattern), we can improve to increase the accuracy such as adjusting words and adding reference dictionaries. In addition, this algorithm has a drawback that causes the execution to be over-stemming.

Abstract

One of the most sought after information currently is tourist attractions in an area. In the last year, Bandung Regency has had new tourist destinations which are emerging rapidly. To manage this tourist location, Bandung district has an information system, but this system still has limitations. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a tourism information system that is more detailed and can provide convenience for the Bandung Regency Culture and Tourism Office in managing and presenting tourism information. The aim of this research is to design and build a Tourism Geographic Information System in Bandung Regency. The development methodology used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP). The result of this research is a Tourism Geographic Information System which features information on tourist destinations including ticket prices, vehicle access and routes to tourist locations. Apart from that, this system also includes information on accommodation and restaurants around tourist destinations. Thus, this Tourism Geographic Information System can be used as a reference source of information on tourist destinations, especially for tourists in Bandung Regency.

Abstract

Media sosial telah menjadi salah satu sumber utama dalam melaporkan peristiwa bencana alam, memungkinkan penyebaran informasi terkait bencana dengan cepat. Namun, informasi yang diunggah sering kali tidak terstruktur, dengan variasi dalam format dan konten, sehingga sulit untuk dianalisis dan dimanfaatkan secara efektif dalam situasi darurat. Permasalahan ini memerlukan solusi yang dapat mengolah informasi tersebut secara efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem klasifikasi informasi bencana alam dari media sosial dengan memanfaatkan metode Abstract Meaning Representation (AMR) dan algoritma Random Forest. Metodologi yang diterapkan adalah Machine Learning Life Cycle (MLLC). Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari 3.190 entri laporan bencana alam dari media sosial yang diproses dengan AMR untuk mengekstrak makna semantik dari teks. Algoritma Random Forest diterapkan untuk membangun model klasifikasi. Hasil evaluasi menggunakan Confusion Matrix menunjukkan model memiliki akurasi sebesar 86%, presisi 87%, recall 98%, dan F1-Score 92%. Berdasarkan hasil ini, model dapat membantu mempermudah klasifikasi informasi bencana alam, sehingga mendukung pengambilan keputusan secara cepat dan efektif dalam situasi darurat.
