Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify industrial, trading and services land use to transport flow. The activities of industrial, trading and services have affected volume traffic. Knowledge about the effect of land use on transportation is needed for LSP in determining its business location. This study used proportional samples size to derive transport flow as result of activities in industrial, trading and services land use. Analysis used in this research was multiple regression analysis to perform transportation flow model. The result show that building area and number of employees significantly influence transportation flow within trading and services land use. For industrial land use, characteristics that more influence transportation flow are building area and number of delivery activities.

Abstract

Accidents of involving motorcycles in Surabaya tend to increase. Recorded from 2014 to 2016 were reached 721, 929 and 1,325 accidents. This phenomenon is certainly not beneficial for the community and road transport policy makers. This study was conducted to determine the characteristics of motorcycle riders and accidents of involving motorcycles. This research further develops estimation of accident prediction involving motorcycle in Surabaya City. Accident data compiled from AIS-IRSMS to know the characteristics of users and accidents using the accidents approach. The research location was conducted in accident prone areas during January 2014 to February 2017 also using AIS-IRSMS. With the Generalized Linear Models (GLMs), the result of estimation of accident estimation involving motorcycle that is McA = 0.00225 Q1.030 e(0.034 S). Accidents of involving motorcycles are heavily influenced by the number of vehicles on the road and the speed of the vehicle. Kecelakaan melibatkan sepeda motor di Kota Surabaya cenderung mengalami peningkatan. Tercatat tahun 2014 hingga 2016 mencapai 721, 929 dan 1.325 kejadian kecelakaan. Fenomena ini tentunya tidak menguntungkan bagi masyarakat dan pengambil kebijakan terkait transportasi jalan raya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pengendara sepeda motor terlibat kecelakaan dan kecelakaan melibatkan sepeda motor. Lebih lanjut penelitian ini melakukan pengembangan estimasi prediksi kecelakaan melibatkan sepeda motor di Kota Surabaya. Data kecelakaan dikompulir dari AIS-IRSMS untuk mengetahui karakteristik penguna dan kecelakaan menggunakan pendekatan frekwensi kejadian. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada daerah rawan kecelakaan sepanjang Januari 2014 hingga Februari 2017 juga menggunakan bantuan AIS-IRSMS. Menggunakan metode Generalized Linear Models (GLMs), hasil penelitian diperoleh estimasi prediksi kecelakaan melibatkan sepeda motor yaitu McA= 0,00225 Q1,030 e(0,034 S). Kecelakaan melibatkan sepeda motor sangat dipengaruhi oleh banyaknya kendaraan di jalan dan kecepatan kendaraan.

Abstract

Park and Ride merupakan salah satu bentuk Transportation Demand Management (TDM) berupa penyediaan fasilitas parkir yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penggunaan transportasi umum dan memenuhi kebutuhan pergerakan penglaju karena berfungsi sebagai penghubung antara pusat kota dengan wilayah sub-urban dengan keterbatasan jaringan transportasi umum. Stasiun Sidoarjo sebagai stasiun asal terbesar di Kabupaten Sidoarjo merupakan salah satu lokasi yang direkomendasikan untuk pengembangan fasilitas Park and Ride. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja parkir di Stasiun Sidoarjo, baik kinerja operasional dan pelayanan menggunakan analisis kinerja parkir dan model kano, serta menyusun prioritas rekomendasi perencanaan parkir di Stasiun Sidoarjo menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 pengguna parkir Stasiun Sidoarjo dan 11 responden ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada fasilitas parkir Stasiun Sidoarjo masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan guna mendukung

Abstract

Konsep Transit Oriented Development (TOD) bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mengurangi ketergantungan tinggi terhadap kendaraan pribadi serta meningkatkan penggunaan transportasi publik seperti bus, kereta api, dan angkutan umum melalui aksesibilitas yang baik menuju titik transit. Konsep ini berkaitan dengan upaya peruntukan lahan bercampur (mixed use) yang dipusatkan pada titik-titik transit atau simpul transportasi dengan kemudahan akses kendaraan tidak bermotor, serta tingkat kepadatan yang tinggi di sekitar titik transit. Koridor Jalan Tugu dan Jalan Kertanegara terletak di sebelah barat Stasiun Malang Kota Baru, Kecamatan Klojen yang merupakan pusat kegiatan di Kota Malang. Kedua koridor ini dikelilingi guna lahan strategis seperti SMA Kompleks, Balai Kota Malang, Gedung DPRD Kota Malang, serta beberapa fungsi perdagangan dan jasa. Salah satu standar yang dapat digunakan untuk menilai penerapan konsep TOD adalah TOD Standard 3.0 yang diterbitkan oleh Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP). Terdapat 8 prinsip dan 25 matriks yang telah ditentukan oleh ITDP untuk menilai kawasan TOD. Dari hasil penilaian, Koridor Jalan Tugu dan Jalan Kertanegara mendapatkan total 51 poin. Selain itu, terdapat 3 prinsip yang mendapatkan poin 0, yaitu prinsip bersepeda, menghubungkan, dan memadatkan.

Abstract

Background: Malang City is a city that has a function as an area of education, industry, trade, and services so that it is experiencing fairly rapid development. These developments often only pursue economic and social aspects, causing problems in environmental aspects. Research purposes: Assessing the environmental sustainability index in all urban villages in Malang City, analyze the indicators that affect the environmental sustainability index in all urban villages in Malang City and prepare recommendations for improving environmental sustainability in Malang City. Research methods: The method used is Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) through the Rapid Appraisal for Sustainable Development (RAP-SUSDEV) ordination technique approach modified from RAPFISH, which is a sustainability analysis used to determine status and identify sensitive indicators in the process of knowing sustainability. The MDS method can provide stable results compared to multivariate analysis methods such as factor analysis. Research results: The results of the index display indicators that are sensitive or have an effect on sustainability, which are useful as reference materials in compiling recommendations for improving environmental sustainability in Malang City. Conclusion: The urban areas that have the highest environmental sustainability index values are Tasikmadu and Tunggulwulung Urban Villages with very sustainable status. Meanwhile, the kelurahan that has the smallest environmental sustainability index value is Kotalama Urban Village with unsustainable status. The results of the leverage analysis show that the factors that have a significant effect on environmental sustainability are anticipation and mitigation efforts, namely as many as 23 urban villages. Based on the analysis that has been done, the recommendations for improving environmental sustainability in Malang City are prioritized to build anticipation and mitigation efforts such as early warning systems, safety equipment, and signs, and disaster evacuation routes. The prioritized recommendations were taken based on the most recommendations given to 57 urban villages in Malang City.

Abstract

Park and ride (PR)is the right strategy to overcome transportation problems in metropolitan cities with high mobility levels to realize smart mobility. The three main goals of PR are to reduce congestion levels, increase public transportation use, and improve urban space quality. The provision of parking capacity is one of the success factors in the planning of the PR facility. Therefore it is necessary to calculate the parking space requirement in PR. The research was conducted at Sidoarjo Station, the most significant origin station in Sidoarjo Regency, and a recommended PR location. This study aims to calculate parking space requirements and facilities for the existing conditions and projections when PR operates. Data were collected through primary surveys in the form of observations on parking characteristics at Sidoarjo Station and secondary surveys in literature studies. The results of the study indicate that the existing condition of the parking facility at Sidoarjo Station has exceeded the parking capacity, so to accommodate the need for parking space, it is necessary to increase the parking area of 96 m2 in the existing condition up to 413 m2 or 5,923 m2 for the next ten years.JEL Classification L91; O18; R41

Abstract

Koridor Jalan Zainul Arifin merupakan salah satu koridor yang menghubungkan Kawasan Alun-Alun sebagai pusat kota dengan Pasar Besar Kota Malang. Pasar Besar sebagai pusat perdagangan dan jasa, kuliner, pertokoan, dan wisata memiliki ciri khas dan daya Tarik tersendiri. Karakteristik tersebut mampu menarik aktivitas yang masif sehingga diperlukan pengendalian arus lalu lintas dan fasilitas penunjang aktifitas di koridor tersebut. Omotenashi memiliki makna keramahan, kehangatan, dan kekeluargaan. Keramahan yang dimaksud ialah ramah dalam hal desain jalan, jalur pejalan kaki dan layanan angkutan umum bagi para penggunanya, adapun kekeluargaan memiliki makna yang berlawanan dengan individualis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat keramahan dalam konsep omotenashi dan merumuskan prioritas alternatif pengembangan keramahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis aspek keramahan omotenashi, analisis parkir on-street berdasarkan aspek kekeluargaan, dan Quantitative Descriptive Analysis (QDA) berupa spiderweb. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keramahan omotenashi pada Koridor Jalan Zainul Arifin memiliki nilai 10,64 yang masuk dalam klasifikasi ramah dan prioritas pengembangan berdasarkan hasil spiderweb meliputi pengembangan aspek geometri jalur pejalan kaki, geometri jalan, dan parkir on-street.

Abstract

Surabaya City is the National Activity Center in East Java which has a heterogeneous function andserves as the center of orientation for the activities of residents living in the surrounding area. Everyday many commuters are active in Surabaya City. The highest number of commuters came fromSidoarjo Regency with 169.560 people or 40% of the total 423.109 people. However, of the totalcommuters, only 1.246 people, or 0,7% of the 169.560 commuters rely on the commuter line, whilethe number of private vehicle users is 159.190 people. This causes congestion with the movementpattern of private vehicles in the Sidoarjo region to Surabaya with a volume of 3.491 pcu/hour withan LOS of 0,90 to 1,58. One of the government's efforts to reduce the use of private vehicles is toprovide mass transportation in the form of commuter lines. This study aims to evaluate the operationalperformance and service of the commuter line Surabaya-Pasuruan route to determine which aspectsneed to be prioritized to serve optimally. The data obtained through observation and questionnaireswere reviewed using operational performance analysis (load factor, headway, travel time, waitingtime), IPA, and QFD. The results of the operational performance analysis showed various problems,namely the load factor exceeding the 60% standard carrying capacity due to Covid-19 adaptation andwaiting time exceeding the maximum standard of 20 minutes. The priority of technical responsedirectives is obtained in improving operational and service performance, namely the periodicmaintenance and inspection of railway facilities.

Abstract

The Market is one land use activity that can have an impact on congestion. Situated in Kalitidu District, Kalitidu Market serves as a Regional Service Center (PPK) for the Bojonegoro Regency. As Kalitidu Market is a market in the PKK region of Bojonegoro Regency, its operations frequently result in traffic jams. The study's goal was to predict Kalitidu Market's parking demands using multiple linear regression analysis, off-street parking user characteristic analysis, and the calculation of off-street parking capacity needs. For two-wheeled automobiles in the Kalitidu market, the following model is used to determine parking space requirements: Ya = 0,071 (X5) – (1,257 -0,005(X1) + 0,012(X2) + 0,012(X3) -57,044(X4) + 0,002(X6). The number of cars entering the area, the number leaving it, the number of vehicles entering the area initially, the amount of time the vehicles are parked, and the number of guests bringing vehicles are all factors that affect the requirement for parking for two-wheeled vehicles. 34 vehicles per hour are therefore required to have parking spaces for two-wheeled cars.

Abstract

Ijen was one of the roads in Malang City with land use intensity dominated by education and trade and services, generating land use caused a large movement. The main purpose of the study was to identify some problems and propose solutions to improve the performance of Ijen corridor. The meaning of “Omotenashi” is  Japanese-style excellent service mindset consisting of hospitality aspect, familiarity and warmth aspects. The study employed Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Analysis of the familiarity aspect was descriptive evaluative interaction of public transport passengers. The analysis of the warmth aspect was descriptive evaluative in physical, social and historical attractiveness. The results showed that hospitality level at Ijen Corridor was 2.038 (hospitable), the familiarity aspect was 61 out of 100 people have interacted on the public transport, while the warmth aspect showed that many buildings are physical attractions and historical areas. The Ijen Corridor's alternative development strategies include raising public awareness of the use of public transportation, restricting access to motorized vehicles, law enforcement, and improving bicycle infrastructure, as well as enhancing the quality of public transportation services, pedestrian facilities, parking management, and carpooling/sharing.
