Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the difference of learning result based on face gesture on learning model of student teams achievement devision (STAD). This type of research is a quasi-experimental nature of qualitative research. The study population used the entire class VIII SMPN 1 Punggur. The research sample used 2 classes selected using purposive sampling that is class VIII-3 experiment (using STAD model) and VIII-4 control (lecture model). This research method uses test, observation and documentation. The data analysis used the average value of learning outcomes, gesture interpretation, and differences in learning outcomes based on face gestures. The first results of the study STAD learning model is used to improve students' learning outcomes prove by the average improvement of class learning results using STAD model 10.97, and classes using the lecture model 0.44, the two facial gestures shown during the learning experiment class and control class are different, the three learning outcomes based on face gesture on STAD learning model there is a difference. Suggestions for teachers to improve learners' learning outcomes are recommended using STAD learning model. STAD teacher learning model should pay attention to the gesture of his face. Teachers at the time of teacher learning should know the condition of learners to make learning more fun.

Abstract

The culture which applied to the education system in Indonesia is the grouping of students who tend to be heterogeneous. Many theories suggest that students whose learning using heterogeneous group discussion methods are better than homogeneous groups. However, there is also a claim that student who use learning methods of homogeneous group discussion is better than heterogeneous groups based on the Islamic educational system that refers to the homogeneous grouping of students. This study aims to determine the differences in learning result and the level of collaboration between homogeneous groups with heterogeneous groups and which groups are better. The kinds of this research is comparative with post-test only design. Sampling is done by purposive sampling. This research uses 2 (two) classes those are class VIII.1 consist of 27 students as homogeneous group and class VIII.2 consist of 31 students as heterogeneous group. The learning result data was taken by using test and collaboration using sheet observer. The results showed that the differences in learning result and levels of student collaboration between homogeneous groups with heterogeneous groups is 2,82 and 2,99. The result of study from homogeneous group is higher than heterogeneous group that is 73,91 equal to 61,06. The level of homogeneous group collaboration is higher than the heterogeneous group that is 66.20 equal to 57.74.

Abstract

Arduino uno/microcontroller can be applied in the world of education, one of which is used as material for the development of digital practicum tools. This research aims to; (1) develop a physics practicum tool in the mechanics course, namely the material for the law of conservation of momentum which is developed based on Arduino uno; (2) to find out how to design more precise practicum tools; (3) knowing the feasibility of the momentum conservation law practicum tool developed. This research is an ADDIE research which involves the stages of model development with five steps/development phases including: analysis, design, development or production, implementation and evaluation. Research data were collected using a validation questionnaire sheet, user response questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study are; (1) produce a product in the form of a physics practicum tool on the material of the law of conservation of momentum based on Arduino uno with an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04; (2) the precision/precision of the practicum tool that has been developed has an accuracy value of 0.178 kg m/s; (3) the feasibility of the product of physics practicum tools on the material of the law of conservation of momentum based on Arduino uno with the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 as a whole is categorized as very feasible to use, namely getting a percentage value of 86% according to media experts, 91% according to material experts and 90% according to media experts. students/users and practicum tools developed are categorized as very suitable for use in practical activities. The product resulting from this research is a practical tool for the law of conservation of momentum based on Arduino uno using an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04. In this development, it is not only practicum tools, the practicum tools developed are equipped with user manuals and practicum guides that function to make it easier for users to carry out practical activities.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the influence of the project based learning model on the learning activities of class XI students at SMA Negeri 6 Metro, to determine the influence of the project based learning model on the science process skills of class This research was conducted using a true experimental design. Determining the sample using the cluster random sampling technique selected was class XI 1 as the experimental class, class XI 4 as the control class. The data collection technique used was an observation sheet to measure learning activities and science process skills in the experimental class and control class. The observation instrument used is a grid of observation sheets. To test and analyze the hypothesis in this research, the independent t-test was used. The results of the research show the influence of the project based learning model on the learning activities of class XI SMA Negeri 6 Metro, namely the significance obtained by the Sig value. equal to 0.000 < 0.05. There is an influence of the project based learning model on the science process skills of class XI SMA Negeri 6 Metro, namely on the significance obtained by the Sig value. equal to 0.000 < 0.05. From the research carried out, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of the use of the project based learning model on learning activities as shown by the results of the hypothesis test, the significance value obtained is Sig. equal to 0.000 < 0.05. There is a positive influence of using the project based learning model on science process skills, as shown by the results of the hypothesis test, the significance value obtained is Sig. of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Abstract: Education in the 21st century era is characterized by advances intechnology and information, the independent curriculum is the focus fordeveloping students' character and basic competencies. However, the low levelof creativity of Indonesian children, especially in the context of science, is a majorconcern. This low level of creative thinking can have a negative impact onstudents' learning achievement, so this research is important in identifying andovercoming these challenges. This research aims to find the best solution toimprove the creative thinking skills of seventh grade students at SMPN 9 Metro.The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a triangulationapproach, combining observation, interviews, and literature study. Learning thatstill relies on the lecture method is considered less effective for training creativethinking skills. The results showed that creative thinking skills can be effectivelyreviewed using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model. CPS is a structuredprocess that emphasizes divergent and convergent thinking to produceinnovative solutions to problems. Several studies support the effectiveness ofCPS in improving students' creative thinking skills. The results of the analysisconcluded that students' creative thinking skills can be improved through theapplication of the CPS model which shows the positive impact of using CPS inscience learning.

Abstract

Agar tercipta sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, maka pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan utama yang harus dipenuhi dan diberikan sejak usia dini, karena pada usia dini perlu ditumbuhkembangkan kreatifitas anak. Anak usia dini merupakan periode awal yang paling mendasar dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan kehidupan manusia. Pada masa ini ditandai oleh berbagai periode penting yang menjadi dasar dalam kehidupan anak yang selanjutnya. Salah satu periode menjadi ciri masa usia dini adalah periode usia emas. Periode usia emas pada anak usia dini ditandai dengan munculnya masa eksplorasi, masa identifikasi/imitasi, masa peka, masa bermain dan masa membangkang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan bermain alat musik angklung pada peseta didik di TK Al-Falah. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di TK Al-Falah Bandarjaya Barat. Subyek yang diteliti 16 anak yang merupakan gabungan dari kelas A dan kelas B. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan bermain alat musik angklung terdiri dari: 1) pra persiapan yang terdiri dari pengrekrutan anak untuk masuk ekstra alat musik angklung; 2) persiapan meliputi merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran bermain angklung, penentuan metode pengajaran dalam keterampilan bermain angklung; 3) pelaksanaan meliputi: a) guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan memberikan materi tentang alat musik angklung; b) guru mendemontrasikan angklung, cara memegang, cara memainkan nada yang dihasilkan; c) diberikan pelatihan menggunakan angklung; dan 4) evaluasi yaitu dengan mengadakan pentas seni bermain angklung yang diadakan di sekolah melalui apresiasi penonton.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: 1) Mendeskripsikan seberapa besar pengaruhkepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Se-Kecamatan Banjar BaruKabupaten Tulang Bawang, 2) Mendeskripsikan seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadapkinerja gurudi SMP Se-Kecamatan Banjar Baru Kabupaten Tulang Bawang, 3) Mendeskripsikanseberapa besar pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guruSMP Se-Kecamatan Banjar Baru Kabupaten Tulang Bawang, 4) Mendeskripsikan pelaksanaanpenelitian tentang pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru terhadapkinerja guru di SMP Se-Kecamatan Banjar Baru Kabupaten Tulang Bawang. Penelitian inirancangannya adalah ”penelit ian kuant itatif melalui pendekatan survei dengan uji pengaruhmenggunakan teknik respondend cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupaangket. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket sebagai metode utama, yangdibantu dengan metode wawancara dan observasi sebagai metode pendukung. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X) terhadap kinerja guru(Y) dengan besarnya kontribusi sebesar 0,277 atau 27,7%, terdapat pengaruh motivasi kerja (X1)terhadap kinerja guru (Y) dengan besarnya kontribusi sebesar 0,363 atau 36,3%, dan terdapatpengaruh secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X) dan motivasi kerjaguru(X2) terhadap kinerja guru(Y) dengan besarnya kontribusi sebesar 0,384 atau 38,4%. 1 2

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pelaksanaan supervise manajerial yang dilakukan Kepala Sekolah Dasar”, (2) pelaksanaan bimbingan dalam menyusun silabus, (3) pelaksanaan supervisi penyusunan RPP, (4) pelaksanaan supervisi pengembangan bahan ajar, dan (5) pelaksanaan supervisi penyusunan perangkat evaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik”pada guru SD di Kecamatan Metro Pusat Kota Metro Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian sampel karena meneliti sebagian subjek yang ada di SD se Kecamatan Metro Pusat Kota Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah kepala sekolah dan guru di Sekolah Dasar se Kecamatan Metro Pusat Kota Metro”. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif.”Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh gambaran bahwa kepala sekolah memiliki” kemampuan untuk merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan memberi umpan balik pelaksanaan supervisi manajerial yang meliputi bimbingan dalam menyususn silabus, penyusunan RPP, pengembangan bahan ajar dan penyusunan alat evaluasi hasil belajar anak didik sehingga”dapat meningkatkan produktivitas guru di sekolah yang dipimpinnya.”Pelaksanaan supervise manajerial yang terencana dan dilaksanakan kemudian hasilnya akan menjadi motivasi dan umpan balik guru untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerjanya.

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in improving the quality of education, an essential aspect of national education development, which applies universally in various cultures and countries. As national education standards and needs increase, educational development becomes a necessity. This study seeks to investigate the enhancement of teacher quality dimensions to elevate national education standards, employing a case study approach with mixed methods. The sampling involved random selection from five senior high schools in Lampung, comprising 190 students and 10 teachers. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. The analysis of questionnaire data utilized structural equation modeling (SEM) through Lisrel 8.50 assistance. The qualitative phase encompassed data reduction, presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. Results indicate that the model fits well with a Satorra-Bentler scaled Chi-square value of 189.190, a p-value coefficient of 0.070 (>0.05), root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) of 0.030 (<0.080), and comparative fit index (CFI)≥0.90, suggesting its acceptability. The assessment of teachers’ professional management in enhancing education quality focuses on preparation, implementation, and evaluation, offering significant potential for improving senior high school teachers’ quality.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop Student Worksheets based on STEM using a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach to enhance students' science process skills and critical thinking abilities in science learning at junior high school SMP Abadi Perkasa. The development model used is ADDIE, which includes five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Product validation was conducted by experts in language, content, and media, demonstrating good reliability with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of ≥ 0.7. The implementation of the Student Worksheets was carried out with Grade IX students at SMP Abadi Perkasa, and the trials showed a significant improvement in students' skills. The N-gain analysis results reached an average of 0.56, categorized as "moderate," indicating an improvement in students' science process skills and critical thinking abilities. Student response questionnaire data indicated the effectiveness of the Student Worksheets, with an average score of 3.56 and an effectiveness percentage of 89.1%, falling into the "effective" category. The findings of this study suggest that the application of STEM-based Student Worksheets with a PBL approach positively impacts science learning, particularly in the topic of dynamic electricity, by enhancing students' science process skills and critical thinking abilities through a more contextual and interactive learning approach.
