Abstract

The goal of this study to explore the role of lesson study activity to improve lecturers performance at Department of math & science education, FKIP UM Metro. This is a descriptive research, using documentation and questionnaire method. The sources of data are Student, lecturer and supervisor. The analysis of data using quantitative and qualitative by doing triangulation based on self evaluation, student questionnaire and judgement team. The result found that (1) In General, The average of science lecturers performance are batter then before joined lesson study program, (2) Lecterers model have better performance than other how have nat  joined, (3) Specialy for the lecturers how involved in lesson study have improving performance; (4) Learning result of the student are batter than before using lesson study. The recomendation of this reseach, the lesson study program used to be continued to support improving lecturers performance in learning.

Abstract

Covid-19 has an impact on education. In order to maintain the quality of learning, online mode learning innovation is carried out with the application of project based learning through experiments in the application of Bernoulli's Law on used bottle leaks. Online learning at SMAN 1 Metro usually uses Problem Based Learning. In this study will be used PjBl to increase the creativity of students. This research aims to explore students' ability in problem solving in dynamic fluid concepts. This type of research is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental approach, and the design used is Nonequivalent Group Design. The subject of the study was Sma N 1 Metro in class XI IPA which numbered 67 students. The analysis method uses the N-Gain Test and the different tests between the two sample groups. Results: N-Gain in experimental class by 65.74% and in control class by 25.04%. Based on hypothesis tests, it was found that the effect of applying madel project based learning in improving student learning outcomes in Bernoulli Law material. Project based learning model in online learning is also effective in developing 4Cs.

Abstract

THE ROLE OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM OF PHYSICAL LABORATORY OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN METRO CITY, LAMPUNG. The Government Regulation (PP) of the Republic of Indonesia no. 19 of 2005 sets eight educational standards. The results survey found every high school in Metro City has been equipped with physics laboratory and has formed an organizational structure. But the physics laboratory to support the learning process, has not been done well. The purpose of this IbM (Ipteks bagi Masyarakat) Program is to apply theory and concept of Laboratory management in order to optimize the role of Physics Laboratory to supporting the learning process. The methods used are: Making of laboratory inventory website, workshop of the standard making of laboratory management, facilitation of website and arrangement of laboratory apparatus, workshop of making work program, workshop of making service, and doing simulation result of the workshop. The results obtained are: 1) Generally the condition of high school physics laboratory in Metro City has exceeded the standard up to 71,9%; 2) Aspects that do not meet government standards are no technicians and less on electric and sink socket facilities of 5,7%; 3) Utilization of high school laboratory inventory website gives a quite effective and significant impact in assisting the administration of laboratory equipment and facilitate access in tracking the existence of physics laboratory equipment and materials.

Abstract

AbstrakFungsi Komite Sekolah adalah memberikan pertimbangan dalam menetapkan kebijakan, menggalang dana dari sumber daya pendidikan lain, mengawasi pelayanan pendidikan sekolah, dan menindaklanjuti keluhan, saran, kritik dan aspirasi stakeholder sekolah. Untuk menjalankan tugas dan fungsi komite SMA Negeri 1 Metro, maka disusun Anggaran Dasar dan Anggaran Rumah Tangga (AD-ART) Komite SMA Negeri 1 Metro Tahun 2017. Sesuai AD-ART, Komite SMA Negeri 1 Metro wajib menyampaikan Rencana Anggaran Komite Sekolah (RAKS) pada awal tahun pelajaran dan Laporan Pertanggung Jawaban (LPJ) penggunaan anggaran pada setiap akhir tahun pelajaran melalui rapat yang dihadiri minimal 2/3 anggota dan pengurus Komite Sekolah. Pada awal tahun 2020 terjadi pandemi Covid-19, sehingga banyak program dan kegiatan komite SMA Negeri 1 Metro tidak dapat terlaksana, dan bahkan pelaksanaan LPJ tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dan RAKS tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 yang seyogyanya dilaksanakan bulan Juli atau Agustus 2020 tidak dapat dilaksanakan. Tahun 2020 juga bersamaan dengan habisnya masa kepengurusan komite SMA Negeri 1 Metro. Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan berbagai agenda komite SMA Negeri 1 Metro tidak dapat dilaksanakan dan berdampak pada munculnya berbagai permasalahan yang harus diselesaikan dengan cara yang tidak biasa.  Langkah strategis untuk mengatasi permasalahan komite SMA Negeri 1 Metro yaitu: melakukan perubahan AD-ART; melakukan perpanjangan kepengurusan komite; memberi kesempatan kepada Orang tua/Wali peserta didik terdampak Covid 19, untuk mengajukan keringanan atau pembebasan dana sumbangan komite sekolah; mendorong sekolah untuk mengajukan anggaran BOSDA untuk menggantikan anggaran komite yang tidak terbayar; dan melakukan LPJ anggaran tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 dengan mengikuti aturan pemerintah selama masa pandemi covid 19, yakni rapat paripurna dilaksanakan secara bergelombang dengan mengikuti protokol kesehatan. Kata kunci (dicetak tebal): komite sekolah, program dan kegiatan, pandemi covid-19.AbstractThe function of the School Committee is to provide considerations in determining policies, raising funds from other resources, supervising, and following up aspirations from stakeholders. To carry out its functions, the AD-ART Committee of SMA Negeri 1 Metro 2017 was made as a guide. in 2020 there was a Covid-19 pandemic, so many school committee programs and activities could not be carried out, and even the 2019/2020 LPJ and 2020/2021 RAKS which were supposed to be held in July or August 2020 did not take place. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the school committee's agenda to not be implemented and has an impact on the emergence of many problems. Strategic steps to solve school committee problems are: make changes to the contents of AD-ART; extend the term of the school committee; provide an opportunity for parents of students affected by Covid 19, to apply for relief or exemption from school committee donations; encourage schools to submit BOSDA budgets to replace unpaid committee budgets; and conduct LPJ for the 2019/2020 school year budget with health protocols, through plenary meetings in stages.Keywords: school committee, program and activity, pandemi covid-19

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pasar Warung Macan merupakan pasar warga yang terletak di RT/RW 009/003, Desa Adirejo Kecamatan Pekalongan Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Dimana Ikatan Mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika (IMAFIS) Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro Bersama Pemuda Karang Taruna Desa Adirejo Berkolaborasi untuk selalu membantu dalam kegiatan warung macan, baik berupa tenaga maupun pikiran. Karang taruna desa merupakan tim yang sangat solid, sehingga desa adirejo merupakan salah satu desa yang dikenal aktif. Dan Terjalinnya kerjasama antar Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa serta karang taruna dan masyarakat Desa Adirejo. melakukan metode pemberdayaan masyarakat secara penuh di lapangan (offline), dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan secara ketat. Dengan metode yang kami gunakan yaitu, Survei Awal,  Identifikasi Masalah, Analisis Kebutuhan, Penyusunan Program, Strategi Pembinaan Khalayak Sasaran, Perintisaan Kemitraan, Monitoring dan Evaluasi, Loka Karya. dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat serta terwujudnya Pasar Warung Macan dengan rest area yang nyaman, photobooth yang menarik, serta spot-spot foto yang instagramable. Kata kunci : Adirejo, Karang Taruna, dan Pasar Warung MacanABSTRACTWarung Macan Market is a citizen market located at RT /RW 009/003, Adirejo Village, Pekalongan District of East Lampung Regency. And the establishment of cooperation between Muhammadiyah Metro University consisting of lecturers and students as well as cadet coral and adirejo village community. perform a method of community empowerment in full in the field (offline), by strictly complying with health protocols. Abstract

The supply of world energy resources is increasingly depleted. The abundance of cow manure and banana peel can cause environmental pollution. It can be used as raw material for biogas because both materials have a high methane gas ratio. This research is an experiment with six variations in the amount of mixture in each experiment. Results of the research on gas pressure and the best biogas production results using 1-litre banana peel substrate and 4-litre cow dung. Data shows that the gas pressure is faster and is greater when the pH of the mixture is acidic 6.2, the mixture is thick green and has a strong odour. Gas pressure on day 20 is obtained by 106421 Pascal. The average value of the results of the validation of the learning resources of the three aspects of an assessment is 82.3%; it shows that the poster can be used as a learning resource.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk dan peningkatan kebutuhan konsumsi hidup masyarakat berdampak terhadap tingginya produksi sampah. Kebiasaan masyarakat yang membuang sampah sembarangan dapat berakibat buruk terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan. Solusi yang dapat diberikan untuk dapat mengatasi masalah ini yaitu dengan memberikan tindakan kuratif dan tindakan preventif. Kotak sampah, kerap menjadi salah satu alasan untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Maka dibutuhkan kotak sampah yang dapat mempermudah dalam membuang sampah. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan kotak sampah pintar atau smart box berbasis digital dengan memanfaatkan mikrokontroler Arduino uno. Smart box dikembangkan menggunakan sensor HC-SR04. Kotak sampah didesain dengan prinsip kerja kotak sampah dapat terbuka dan menutup secara otomatis ketika seseorang membuang sampah. Selain itu, tujuan pengembangan kotak sampah ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar fisika dalam penerapan sensor ultrasonik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan model ADDIE. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa smart box berbasis digital dinyatakan sangat layak dengan persentase kelayakan 89%. Sedangkan dari sisi hasil pemanfaatan sebagai sumber belajar fisika, respon pengguna dari guru dan siswa memiliki persentase sebesar 89% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Development of a digital-based smart box by utilizing Arduino Uno as a physics learning resource. Population growth and increasing consumption needs of people's lives impact high waste production. People's habit of littering can have a negative impact on health and the environment. The solution that can be given to overcome this problem is to provide curative and preventive measures. Trash boxes are often one of the reasons to throw trash in its place. So we need a trash box that can make garbage disposal easier. Therefore, a digital-based smart box or smart box was developed by utilizing the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The smart box was developed using the HC-SR04 sensor. The trash box is designed with the working principle that the trash box can open and close automatically when someone throws out the trash. In addition, the purpose of developing this garbage box can be used as a source of learning physics in the application of ultrasonic sensors. This study uses the ADDIE model development method. The results showed that the digital-based smart box was declared very feasible, with a feasibility percentage of 89%. Meanwhile, regarding the results of utilization as a source of learning physics, user responses from teachers and students have a percentage of 89% with very good criteria.

Abstract

Metro City is one of the cities in Lampung, Metro City has a height of 30-60 meters above sea level, but the value of the acceleration of gravity in Metro City is not yet known. Therefore, a study was conducted on measuring the acceleration of gravity in Metro City. The purpose of this study is to determine the value of the acceleration of gravity in the city of Metro, and find out how the difference in the acceleration of gravity in the city of Metro is calculated using the mathematical pendulum method and the acceleration of gravity in the CPU-Z application on Android. This study uses quantitative research with experimental methods in which there are numerical calculations and calculation of error/error values. The data collection instrument in this study used an observation sheet and a questionnaire sheet. Data collection was carried out in each sub-district for 5 trials. After that, look for the average size in each sub-district, then do a weighted calculation to find out the magnitude of the acceleration of gravity in the city of Metro. From the results of the study, the magnitude of the acceleration of gravity in Metro City with a mathematical pendulum is 9.86m/s2 with an error value of 0.011m/s2 and with CPU-Z application of 9.800 m/s2 with an error value of 0.003m/s2. The research results are made in the form of modules and validated. The results of the validation stated that it was very feasible with a score of 83.03 %.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro sejak masa pandemi Covid 19 telah dilaksanakandengan platform dalam jaringan (daring). Bahkan setelah masa pandemi dicabut dan Indonesia sudahmemasuki masa endemi Covid-19, perkuliahan secara daring dilaksanakan dengan frekuensi maksimal 40%dari pertemuan selama 1 (satu) semester sebanyak 16 kali pertemuan. Namun demikian belum banyakdiungkap perihal keterlaksanaan perkuliahan secara daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperolehgambaran keterlaksnaan perkuliahan daring bagi mahasiswa pascasarjana yang menggunakan metodeproject based learning. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrumenberupa angket skala Likert. Subyek sasaran survei adalah mahasiswa pendidikan biologi pascasarjanaberjumlah 8 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian berupaketerlaksanaan perkuliahan daring meliputi empat aspek sebagai berikut: pertama, akses persiapan login danpengisian daftar hadir di spada masih terkendala kelancarannya. Kedua, akses materi kuliah yang masihkurang terdapat pada unggah tugas dan laporan proyek, sedangkan secara maksimal yang dapat dilakukanpada penguasaan fitur spada dan mengatasi hambatan ujian. Ketiga pengelolaan presentasi share screensudah maskimal namun untuk unggah laporan proyek masih diperlukan platform di luar spada. Keempat, preferensi mahasiswa dalam kuliah secara daring sudah maksimal dan didukung oleh rendahnya kendalasinyal internet.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEfforts to improve understanding of concepts in students can be seen from their academic abilities. Understanding concepts is a term used to mean the extent to which students are able to understand the basic concepts of a material provided by the teacher. One effort to improve the understanding of concepts in students is to do experimental learning models or practicum. Along with the advancement of time where technology can be used as a tool in learning, therefore the implementation of practicum can be done using a virtual laboratory. The use of virtual laboratories can run well and in accordance with procedures when using a virtual laboratory practicum guidelines. The making of practicum guidelines must not be separated from the scientific process skills because it has been regulated in Regulation of the Ministry of Education and Culture No. 22 of2016.The purpose of this study is to find out the development of practical process guidelines based on science process skills using virtual laboratories, to determine the impact of virtual laboratories on students' understanding of concepts, and to determine the strengths and weaknesses of virtual laboratories. After conducting field tests in SMA 1 Metro with a class XII IPA 4 as sample, it is known that the results of the feasibility of using a virtual laboratory practice guidelines based on science process skills, namely expert validation got a percentage of 84.6%, Teacher Response 91.25% and Student Response 88, 4% Based on the average percentage of the three assessments of 88.08%, it is in the very feasible category. As for understanding the concept an increase of 21.4 between the pretest and posttest scores. Based on the results of the study, the virtual laboratory practicum guidelines based on science process skills affect the learning process specifically to improve students' understanding of concepts.
