Abstract

Human resources at school is good enough in utilizing technology, information, and communication online including in the field of education. Conditions on the ground show that in some schools in the learning is based online, but only limited scope blog and quipper school. For that we need to develop web-based online physics module on business material and energy. This research is R & D (Research and Development) model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results showed that the level of feasibility according to the expert and the response of student’s who are on the criteria worth with a percentage of 85% and 72.5% respectively. The web-based online physics module can be used as a self-learning resource. This product, should be developed for other high school physics materials

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the utilization of the physics laboratory at SMA Negeri 5 Metro and to identify factors influencing its effectiveness in supporting physics learning. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, involving Grade XI students and physics teachers as research participants. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and a response questionnaire. Analysis was conducted both during and after data collection using triangulation by comparing data from these three sources. The findings reveal that 80% of students reported suboptimal use of the laboratory, and 86.4% expressed a lack of interest in physics, primarily due to difficulties in understanding the subject matter. Physics practicals are still carried out in classrooms, with teachers bringing equipment to demonstrate experiments. Several factors hinder optimal laboratory use, including the absence of laboratory assistants or technicians, poor laboratory management, and the use of laboratory space for non-academic activities such as MGMP meetings and student council events. This study is limited to a single school (SMA Negeri 5 Metro) and does not compare laboratory use with that of other institutions, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Future research should involve comparative studies across multiple schools to obtain a broader understanding of laboratory management and its impact on physics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Writing dozens of reports every semester in physics practicum is often a heavy burden for students, so a more efficient and innovative reporting method is needed to ease their tasks without reducing the quality of learning. This study analyzes the use of video in reporting physics practicum results to ease the burden on students in writing reports. Through videos, students can present information, explain concepts, and demonstrate the application of physics theories in a dynamic and interactive manner. Videos are expected to improve the quality of practicum reports, provide constructive feedback, and promote UM Metro's physics education program. This study used quantitative and descriptive qualitative methods with purposive sampling, involving 6th semester Physics Education students who took astronomy courses. Data were obtained from practicum video assessment rubrics, student response questionnaires, and in-depth interviews, analyzed through a 1-5 Likert scale. This study found that the Project-Based Learning model with video as a practicum report was effective in improving the self-learning of Physics Education students. The title of the video (97.27%) was most attractive, but improvement was needed in time management (55.00%) and simulation of results (67.27%).

Abstract

This study aims to review the literature related to the integration of ethnoscience in interactive e-modules for science learning and evaluate its impact on the understanding of science concepts, motivation, and student involvement. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach, which involves searching and selecting articles from various academic databases. A total of 10 relevant articles published between 2024 and 2025 were included in the analysis. The results of the literature review show that the integration of ethnoscience in interactive e-modules significantly improves students' understanding of science concepts in a way that is more contextual and relevant to the local culture. The use of ethnoscience-based e-modules has also been shown to increase student motivation and engagement in learning, by connecting science with daily life and local culture. The implications of these findings are the importance of developing e-modules that are more inclusive and adaptive to cultural diversity, as well as increasing access to technology throughout Indonesia to ensure wider and more equitable implementation.

Abstract

Online learning is an option in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The purpose of the lecturer and teacher partnership program is to maintain the quality of learning in schools that are carried out online. In addition, this activity aims to improve the pedagogical competence of teachers and lecturers and produce scientific articles jointly prepared between teachers and lecturers for publication. This partnership activity consists of 3 stages: Phase 1, FGD to determine action plans and research lessons; Phase 2, Implementation of Lesson Study (Plan-Do-See); and Phase 3, research collaboration to produce joint scientific articles. This activity agreed that the research lesson studied was the application of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) to develop 4Cs abilities. Lesson study activities produce learning program plan documents and learning videos. The results of the community service program through the partnership of FKIP UM Metro lecturers with SMA Negeri 1 Metro teachers can be concluded that: (1) Lecturer and teacher partnerships in Lesson Study activities can maintain the quality of online mode learning in the COVID-19 pandemic situation through the application of PBL and PjBL; (2) Lecturer and teacher partnerships through the concepts and principles of lesson study can improve the pedagogical competence of lecturers and teachers; (3) Collaborative collaboration between lecturers and teachers in action research can increase scientific publications and produce 3 article publications in several Sinta 3 & 4 journals. Other findings that can be put forward, namely: google classroom and google meet can be used to overcome online learning during the pandemic Covid-19, as well as the application of PBL and PjBL in online mode learning, is effective for developing 4Cs and learning outcomes

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru di MTs Islamiyah Lampung Barat melalui dua topik utama, yaitu pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran serta rekonstruksi fakta lapangan menjadi materi ajar berbasis Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS). Metode pelaksanaan berupa In House Training (IHT) yang diikuti oleh 21 guru MI, MTs, dan RA di Kecamatan Suoh. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kompetensi guru, ditandai dengan kenaikan rata-rata nilai pre-test (6,89) menjadi post-test (7,67) dengan normalized gain sebesar 0,27 (kategori rendah–sedang). Faktor keberhasilan meliputi relevansi materi, praktik langsung, dan kolaborasi antarguru, sedangkan variasi hasil dipengaruhi oleh perbedaan literasi digital dan motivasi peserta. Kegiatan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pemberdayaan guru di wilayah pedesaan agar mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi modern dan potensi lokal dalam pembelajaran
