Abstract

Abstract The purpose of empowerment program through Village Owned Enterprises in Bandungrejo Village, Ngasem Sub-District, Bojonegoro Regency were 1) Contributing to improve community welfare through replicating the successful implementation of previous programs in improving the livelihoods of rural communities around the JTB Project to other villages; 2) Realizing the principle of equity and justice in the implementation of community development programs that were not limited to the project area but also to communities outside the project area in accordance with regional policy priorities; and 3) Maintaining good relations with the surrounding community and local government so that the business is able to run well. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR). The results of the assistance program were the existence of a joint commitment and support from various parties, including the Village Government, BPD, Village Owned Enterprises managers, Bandungrejo Village Government had planned for BUMDes which would only be budgeted in 2021 for 300 million. Managers needed to have capacity building regarding roles, duties, principals and functions, also had organizational governance. Abstract

This study was designed to identify the influence of Asset and Liability Management (ALMA), equity, and liabilities on financial performance and the value of banking companies in Indonesia. ALMA is a crucial strategy for maintaining bank financial stability through balanced asset and liability management. Meanwhile, equity and liabilities reflect the capital structure, which underpins a bank's ability to absorb risk and sustainably operate.This study utilizes an explanatory quantitative method that empirically explains the relationships between variables.The data for this study were obtained from the financial statements of the banks selected as the sample. The research findings demonstrate that ALMA and equity positively influence financial performance, while liabilities negatively influence it. Furthermore, financial performance has been shown to play a significant role in increasing company value. These findings indicate that effective asset and liability management, along with a strong capital structure, can generate positive performance and enhance investor perceptions of bank company value. This study is expected to contribute to broadening financial management insights and serve as a reference for the banking industry in developing more effective financial management strategies.

Abstract

Information security has become a critical organizational requirement in the era of digital transformation, as the increasing use of information systems exposes organizations to complex and evolving cyber threats. Information security can no longer be treated solely as a technical issue but must be managed through a structured management framework. This study aims to analyze and synthesize previous research related to the implementation of ISO/IEC 27001 as an international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). This research adopts a qualitative literature review approach by examining scientific articles, standards documents, and relevant publications related to ISO/IEC 27001, risk management, and information security governance. The analysis focuses on key themes, including risk-based security management, governance structures, continuous improvement using the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle, and organizational readiness. The results indicate that ISO/IEC 27001 provides a comprehensive framework for strengthening information security governance, improving risk management practices, and enhancing organizational resilience against cyber threats. Furthermore, successful implementation is strongly influenced by leadership commitment, employee awareness, and continuous monitoring mechanisms. This study contributes by providing an integrated understanding of ISO/IEC 27001 implementation from prior studies and offers practical insights for organizations seeking to enhance their information security management practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the personality of Datuk Ida Gurnadi as portrayed in the folklore of Singorojo Village, Jepara Regency, and its relevance to character education. The folklore analyzed is derived from the book Cerita Rakyat Pesisir Timur written by Mohammad Kanzannudin (2023), which presents the life journey of Ida Gurnadi as an important figure in the formation of Singorojo Village. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with a literary studies approach. The data consist of narrative elements, events, and characters’ actions that reflect the personality of Datuk Ida Gurnadi, which are analyzed through data reduction, classification, and interpretation. The findings reveal that Datuk Ida Gurnadi exhibits religiousness, responsibility, and courage as core personality traits, reflected in his attitudes and social roles within the community. These values are relevant to character education and can be integrated into Indonesian language and literature learning, particularly through the use of folklore as contextual teaching material. The implications of this study indicate that folklore can serve as an effective learning medium for instilling character values while enhancing students’ literary appreciation and understanding of local culture.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence technology has led to new forms of digital crime, one of which is deepfake pornography. This crime involves the manipulation of a person’s facial identity into pornographic content without consent, resulting in serious violations of privacy, dignity, reputation, and psychological well being. This study aims to analyze the legal construction of deepfake pornography within the Indonesian legal system and to examine the forms of legal protection available for victims. This research employs a normative legal method using statutory and conceptual approaches, supported by prescriptive and interpretative analysis of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials. The findings indicate that although several laws, such as the Pornography Law, the Information and Electronic Transactions Law, the Personal Data Protection Law, and the Law on Sexual Violence Crimes, may be applied to prosecute perpetrators, Indonesia still lacks a specific, comprehensive regulation that addresses the unique technical complexities of AI-generated content. This regulatory gap leads to inconsistencies in law enforcement and fails to address the rapid, borderless dissemination of deepfakes, leaving victim protection severely limited, particularly regarding long-term psychological recovery and the complex restoration of digital reputation. This study highlights the urgency of establishing a comprehensive, victim-centered legal framework that integrates criminal, civil, and administrative approaches within a global context, acknowledging that technologically driven harms constitute a pervasive and transnational challenge faced by legal systems worldwide.

Abstract

The disparity of women leadership in higher education has been the concern of scholars for decades. However, the problem still exists until today. In the context of Islamic higher education in Indonesia, similar problem also continues to occur, yet the aspiration of young women lecturers has not been examined. This research aims to investigate the aspiration, hope, and challenges of young women lecturers at Islamic University in Banda Aceh, Indonesia on leadership positions. Employing in-depth interviews with 12 women lecturers in junior and mid leadership career this study found that: first,  women lecturers are less represented both in academic and managerial leaderships; second, all participants aspire more for academic leadership than the managerial one. However they would accept leadership position if they are given trust (amanah) or are appointed for that position; third,  the university uses a direct appointment model in the managerial positions, thus limiting highly motivated women or even men to apply for leadership career; and fourth, women academics have to deal with triple challenges in leadership careers: related to balancing between career and family as well as organizational culture and policies.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran ThinkPair Share (TPS) berbasis soal superitem terhadap pemahaman konsepmatematis.Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan penelitian eksperimen dengandesain Posttest - Only Control Design. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ditentukan melaluiteknik Random Sampling. Anlisis data yang digunakan diantaranya uji normalitas, ujihomogenitas, uji kesamaan rata-rata, uji ketuntasan, uji beda rata-rata, dan uji regresi. Hasildari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa rata-rata nilai siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakanmodel pembelajaran Think Think Pair Share (TPS) berbasis soal superitem melampaui 71dengan proporsi ketuntasan 80%. Nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelaseksperimen adalah 81,88 lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol yaitu 69,6. Uji regresi sederhanadiperoleh persamaan regresi menunjukan bahwa terdapatpengaruh positif keterampilan proses belajar siswa sebesar 87,4%. Karena memenuhi ketigakriteria keefektifan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Think Pair Share(TPS) berbasis soal superitem efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMKkelas X. Abstract

Data and information are vital in supporting policies and resource management, especially within the Islamic education sector. The Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), through Ministerial Decree (KMA) Number 83 of 2022, aims to integrate Islamic education data into an organized system, particularly through the Education Management Information System (EMIS). Despite EMIS being the primary platform for data management, challenges persist in integrating it with other systems such as SIMBA PD Pontren. Issues such as data discrepancies between EMIS and SIMBA PD Pontren, along with infrastructure limitations, affect the accuracy of educational assistance distribution for pesantren. This study aims to analyze governance strategies that optimize the integration of EMIS and SIMBA PD Pontren to improve the efficiency and quality of Islamic education data management. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, the research was conducted at the Directorate of Diniyah Education and Pesantren from October 14 to November 8, 2024. The study involved six participants directly engaged in the implementation of SIMBA PD Pontren. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document review, with analysis following an interactive approach to ensure credibility, dependability, and confirmability. The findings indicate that EMIS integration is crucial for ensuring data validity and supporting policy-making in Islamic education. Key governance strategies include clear operational regulations, strict data verification, and stakeholder participation, which have enhanced public service quality, particularly through the Telepontren application.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of YouTube Kids in English vocabulary learning for early childhood, specifically group B children at Bakti Sawahan Islamic Kindergarten. The method used in this study was qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were children in group B at Bakti Sawahan Islamic Kindergarten. Data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers, and documentation of learning activities. After the data is collected there are several stages in analyzing data. The first stage is data reduction, which is the process of sorting, selecting, and simplifying data so that the data collected is the data needed and relevant for use in research. After that, data presentation (Display Data) is carried out, where the filtered information is then compiled and described in a descriptive form so that it can be read and understood easily. The final stage in this process is verification, where researchers review all the analyzed data to ensure its accuracy, then summarize the important findings that constitute the final results of the research.The results showed that using YouTube Kids as a learning medium can improve children's English vocabulary mastery. Educational videos with engaging visuals and clear pronunciation help children more easily understand and remember new vocabulary. Furthermore, children also demonstrated enthusiasm and active participation during the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that YouTube Kids is an effective and engaging medium for English vocabulary learning for early childhood, particularly in creating a fun and interactive learning environment.
