Abstract

This literature review aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education policies from early childhood education to higher education in Indonesia. Articles were selected through a screening process from 2015-2022. The review was conducted on an online database found on Google Scholar. There were 9 articles reviewed based on the inclusion criteria. Based on the results of the literature review,   it was found that inclusive education is an innovative and strategic educational approach to expand access to education for all children with special needs at all levels of education. The inclusive education model has been supported by stakeholders, but in practice there are still various barriers that come from teachers, schools, parents, special education experts and the government. However, the evaluation of inclusive education revealed positive impacts such as increased public awareness and understanding of inclusive education, government efforts to increase the number of educators and improve their quality, and improved accessibility of public facilities for people with disabilities. Recommendations are also provided, especially regarding regulations governing the improvement of educators' competencies, socialization for subject teachers, community support and arrangements for funding the implementation of inclusive education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengelolaan Belasungkawa Kirim Akta Kematian (Besuk Kiamat) Rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terkait kepengurusan akta kematian mendorong instansi pelayanan public mempermudah layanan administrasi kependudukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan, kendala, dan solusi terkait pengelolaan belasungkawa kirim akta kematian (Besuk Kiamat) di Dinas Administrasi Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purpossive sampling dan snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengelolaan besuk kiamat belum terlaksana secara optimal karena terdapat beberapa kendala secara internal maupun eksternal. Pengelolaan Besuk Kiamat harus lebih dioptimalkan melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya organisasi, penyesuaian perubahan sistem, kesadaran peran RT/RW dan warga untuk mencapai validitas data kependudukan.Kata kunci: akta kematian, pengelolaan besuk kiamat; program 3in1 administrasi kependudukan; validitas data kependudukan; aplikasi SIAK Abstract: Management of Belasungkawa Kirim Akta Kematian (Besuk Kiamat)The low level of public awareness regarding the management of death certificates encourages public service instances in facilitating civil registration services. This study aimed to determine the implementation, constraints and solutions related to the management of Belasungkawa Kirim Akta Kematian (Besuk Kiamat) at the Surakarta City Civil Registry Service Office. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Sampling was carried out using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. The results of this study indicated that the management of Besuk Kiamat has not been carried out optimally because there are several internal and external constraints. Besuk Kiamat management should be further optimized through the utilization of organizational resources, adjustments to system changes and the awareness of RT/RW (neighborhood and hamlet) and the community to achieve the validity of demographic data.Key words: death certificate, the management of Besuk Kiamat, 3in1 program of civil registration, validity of demographic data, SIAK application

Abstract

The low reading literacy of Indonesian students is still a problem in the world of education in Indonesia. Testing the feasibility of reading literacy instruments and testing the effectiveness of visual picture economics textbook based on problem-based learning in improving reading literacy skills are the objectives of this study. This type of study is quasi-experimental, with a sample of 62 students divided into classes XI IPS1 and XI IPS2. The samples in this study used the cluster random sampling method. The data taken from this study used various techniques including (1) interviews, (2) observations, (3) questionnaires, and (4) questions. Data analysis uses several techniques including (1) quantitative descriptive analysis, (2) Inferential statistical analysis was preceded by a prerequisite test consisting of a normality test and a homogeneity test followed by a t-test, and (3) hypothesis testing. The results showed that the reading literacy instrument was declared feasible and valid, and the research data were normally distributed and homogeneous. In addition, based on the t-test, the results showed that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means that there is a difference in the level of students' reading literacy skills between using visual picture economics textbook based on problem-based learning and conventional economics textbooks. In the experimental class, the average reading literacy level was 68.74 and 60.52 in the control class. Based on these results, the use of an economic textbook with visual images based on problem-based learning is more effective in improving reading literacy compared to using conventional economics textbooks. This research implies increasing reading literacy skills by utilizing visual picture economics textbook based on problem-based learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan   pengabdian   ini   bertujuan   untuk   meningkatkan   pengetahuan dan keterampilan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi guru SMK Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis.  Lokasi pelaksanaan program pengabdian berada di Kota Surakarta.  Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian dimulai dari tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu telah terlaksana pelatihan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi bagi guru SMK MPLB Kota Surakarta. Setelah menjalani pelatihan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, pemahaman peserta mengenai pembelajaran berdiferensiasi mengalami peningkatan dibuktikan dengan hasil pretes maupun posttest yang meningkat. Peserta juga telah memiliki pengalaman dalam mempraktikkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sehingga nantinya dapat menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi di sekolah masing – masing. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian  ini  telah  berhasil  mencapai tujuannya  untuk   meningkatkan  pengetahuan maupun keterampilan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the effect of Thinking Actively in a Social Context, Creative Problem Solving, and Direct Instruction learning models on students' divergent thinking skills. The quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method was used as the research approach. The research subjects include the fifth-grade students at the public elementary schools in Laweyan District, Surakarta, Indonesia. The data were collected using test and non-test techniques. They were then analyzed using the prerequisite test, hypothesis test and multiple-comparison test. The results show that the learning model has an effect on divergent thinking skills. The selection of TASC and CPS learning models has an effect on the students activeness in learning, so teachers can consider these models to be applied in learning with integrated thematic teaching materials in the 2013 curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in critical thinking skills between students who learn using the problem based learning model and STAD model. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental method. The population of this study is the X grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018. Samples were obtained by using cluster random sampling technique consisting of two classes namely X PM 1 class as the experimental class with problem-based learning and X PM 3 class as the control class with STAD learning. The technique of collecting data uses a multiple choice test to determine students' critical thinking skills. Data Analysis is using MANOVA. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant influence between the learning model on critical thinking skills. The application of the problem-based learning model proved to be more able to improve students' critical thinking skills compared to the STAD learning model.
