Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of superplasticizer in concrete mixtures on compressive strength. To achieve this goal, a laboratory study was conducted using 12 cylindrical specimens with a diameter of 150 mm and a height of 300 mm. There are three variations of superplastcizer addition and one variation of concrete without superplastcizer addition as control. The concrete cylinders were tested at 14 days. The coarse aggregate used is a combination of 2 types of aggregates, namely Banjarmasin Stone (50%) and Merak Stone (50%).From the test results, the average compressive strength of concrete without using superplasticizer was 27.10 MPa. The compressive strength of concrete using superplasticizer (mix design results) is 37.18 MPa. For concrete that uses less superplasticizer (reduced by 1% from the mix design results) results in a compressive strength of 34.06 MPa. While for concrete that uses more superplasticizer (increased by 1% from the results of the mix design) gives a compressive strength of 37.02 MPa. Concrete that uses superplasticizer has a greater compressive strength value than concrete without superplasticizer

Abstract

In this study, it has a goal to show whether Liquidity, Profitability, and Operational Efficiency have an influence on Firm Value in Banking. To prove the inconsistency of previous research results regarding several independent variables used. This study used 10 banking samples at Buku4 banks through a purposive sampling method. Secondary data will be used for research, where this data is taken from the annual reports of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Data processing in this study uses the EViews ver. 9. The results of this study show that liquidity has a negative effect on firm value. While profitability and operating efficiency have a positive effect on firm value. These findings provide answers regarding the importance of banking in maintaining its level of profitability. In addition, banks must also maintain efficiency so that the funds used can be maintained so that the company can be sure to have very good value. Meanwhile, banks may not have too much idle capital, it can cause a decrease in the value of the Company.

Abstract

Currently, technological developments are increasingly rapid and sophisticated, one of which is developments in accounting information systems. In this situation, users are required to adapt to current developments in technology because many companies are competing to advance their business. This research aims to determine the variables influencing the performance of accounting information systems in cooperatives in Banyumas Regency. Data was obtained in this research by distributing questionnaires to employees with a total of 106 respondents. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with certain criteria. The results of this research indicate that user technical abilities, formalization of system development, user training and education programs, and top management support have a positive influence on accounting information system performance, while the work experience variable has no effect.Keywords : performance; accounting information system; cooperative;

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Return on Equity (ROE), Current Ratio (CR), Operating Profit Margin (NPM) and Inflation on stock prices. This research was taken because there are still differences in research between one research to another and there is a difference between the real state of research data with the existing theory. This research was conducted using secondary data. The sample used in this study is a consumer goods company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2012-2017 period. The sample technique used is purposive sampling. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) partially had a positive and insignificant effect on stock prices. Return on Equity (ROE) partially has a positive and insignificant effect on stock prices. Current Ratio (CR) partially has a negative and significant effect on stock prices. Operating Profit Margin (OPM) partially has a positive and significant effect on stock prices while inflation partially has a negative and insignificant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implications of the financial distress, interest rate and exchange rate to stock returns on textile and garment companies in Indonesia, which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2012-2015. The operating cash flow is used as a moderating variable to examine the correlation between financial distress and stock returns. There are 15 companies that are used as samples for the study were selected based on purposive sampling method. Meanwhile, fixed effect model of the data panel linear regression method selected for data analysis. The quantitative data was taken from ICMD and Capital Market Reference Center Indonesia Stock Exchange. By using significance level of 5%, study results showed financial distress as Altman Z-score influence positively but insignificant on stock returns and depreciation of exchange rate influence positively and significant on stock returns. Meanwhile, increasing interest rate impact on stock returns negatively but not significant. The study also summarize that operating cash flow cannot moderate the correlation between financial distress and stock returns and this variable classified as predictor moderator. The study results also showed financial distress, interest rates and exchange rates had significant impact on stock returns simultaneously.

Abstract

The Cilegon City Government has prohibited the sale of alcoholic drinks with an alcohol content above 10%. The impacts of selling alcoholic beverages include social inequality, increased alcohol-related crime, and risks to future generations. The problem formulation in this research focuses on local government policies regarding the challenges faced by officers in controlling alcohol distribution, and how the government overcomes these challenges. The research method uses normative legal methods, descriptive analysis, and data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation studies, with primary and secondary data. Conclusions are drawn deductively. The results of the research and discussion show that based on Article 18 which states "The Mayor has the right to regulate alcoholic beverages", the Cilegon City government is committed to eradicating the distribution of alcoholic beverages by issuing Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2001 concerning Liquor Violations. This regulation is a guide in controlling producers and consumers of alcoholic beverages. In conclusion, the main challenges in controlling alcohol distribution are financial constraints and limited human resources, especially law enforcement officers. Apart from that, the lack of severe sanctions in these regulations is not effective enough to provide a deterrent effect for violators

Abstract

The election and appointment of the Village Head in Tanjung Muara Village were conducted in a prison cell because the elected Village Head was charged with corruption. The problem formulation in this article is how the implementation of the election and appointment of the Village Head of Tanjung Muara, North Bengkulu was carried out and whether the implementation was in accordance with the Village Head Election Regulations. This study uses a Normative Method, which aims to describe the research object and utilizes Secondary Data processed qualitatively and concluded deductively. The discussion results show that although the village head election was conducted according to the applicable regulations, the corruption case involving the elected village head created legal obstacles. The legal issues arising from the corruption case affected the election process, but legal procedures were still followed to ensure legal certainty. In conclusion although the election and appointment process complied with the regulations, the legal issues faced by the elected village head impacted the implementation and necessitated the appointment of an interim acting official.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab tidak optimalnya refrigerator dan bagaimana cara perawatan refrigerator diatas kapal latih Jhon Lie milik Politeknik Pelayaran Sulawesi Utara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pengamatan langsung diatas Kapal Latih Jhon Lie yang sementara sandar di Pelabuhan Amurang. Data Penelitian ini diperoleh melalui Metode Lapangan (Field research) yang dilakukan dengan cara mengadakan peninjauan langsung pada objek yang diteliti. Data dan informasi dikumpulkan secara Observasi yaitu mengadakan peninjauan atau pengamatan secara langsung dilapangan di atas kapal latih john lie dan mengadakan diskusi sesama kelompok penelitian dan metode Tinjauan Kepustakaan (Library Research) yang dilakukan dengan cara membaca dan mempelajari literatur, buku- buku, dan tulisan-tulisan yang berhubungan dengan masalah yang dibahas. Untuk memperoleh landasan teori yang akan digunakan dalam membahas masalah yang diteliti, data diperoleh dari internet yang mengacu tentang refrigerator yang ada diatas kapal. dan buku yang jadikan referensi. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab tidak optimalnya refrigerator kapal latih john lie dan untuk menganalisis pemecahan masalah tidak optimalnya refrigerator kapal latih john lie.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kinerja dari pegawai dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor apa saja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode literature review yang terlebih dahulu mencari fakta kemudian menarik kesimpulan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Artikel ini mengandalkan data dari buku dan makalah penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan (1) Kinerja pegawai dipengaruhi oleh faktor intrinsk, yaitu motivasi kerja, self-efficacy, kecerdasan emosional, disiplin, kompetensi, komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja, menurut penelitian ini. 2) Fasilitas pendidikan, Kepemimpinan, budaya dari organisasi, lingkungan kerja , lalu tata kerja, pelatihan karyawan, kompensasi, dan juga penempatan merupakan faktor ekstrinsik yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. 3) Lima penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa faktor intrinsik dan ekstrinsik tidak mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai, antara lain self-efficacy, komitmen organisasi, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi; faktor ekstrinsik (seperti kepemimpinan, insentif, dan lingkungan kerja) 4) sebanyak 11 penelitian tentang faktor intrinsik berfokus pada motivasi kerja, (5) ada tujuh penelitian tentang faktor eksternal atau ekstrinsik yang dilakukan yaitu membahas tentang kepemimpinan.

Abstract

This article discusses the impact of implementing Spontaneous Group Discussion (SGD) in a senior high school experimental class. Challenges during speaking practice in the classroom lead to the students having reduced motivation to speak English. SGD is suggested as a way to address this issue by evaluating its efficacy in comparison to a traditional approach. This research employs a quasi-experimental design with pretest and post-test assessments. The analysis showed the result of this research that F (2,85) = 26.591, P 0.000 < 0.05. From the result a notable difference emerged between the experimental and control groups, resulting in the dismissal of the null hypothesis which posited that both strategies (SGD technique and GTM) are identical. Research findings indicate that SGD is more efficient for learning speech, allowing students to rapidly grasp important lessons related to the teacher's chosen topic. Hence, teachers may find value in using the findings of this research when instructing students on English speaking skills.
