Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the increase in students' ability to understand concepts using the discovery learning model through lesson study on KPK and FPB material. This research is an experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this research was class VIIC students at SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak using a purposive sampling technique of 32 people. The research results showed that students obtained pretest and posttest scores for understanding concepts in KPK and FPB material with an average of 62,97 and 84,69. After implementing learning using the discovery learning model through lesson study, students' conceptual understanding of the KPK and FPB material received a Sig. (2 tailed) = 0.000 with Sig. (2 tailed) < 0.05 (0.000 > 0.05) then Ho is rejected. Thus, through lesson study, the application of the discovery learning model to KPK and FPB material can increase students' understanding of concepts.

Abstract

. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian metode deskriptif. Dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII berjumlah 23 siswa. tempat penelitian di SMPN 2 Sebangki Kecamatan Sebangki, Dusun Senunuk, Desa Agak. Dalam penelitian ini hanya mengambil tiga kelompok peserta didik kelompok tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui proses berpikir kritis siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika ditinjau dari Motivasi Belajar Siswa. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, angket, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan perhitungan angket didapatkan hasil kelompok tinggi dengan kriteria X ≥ 77,49 yaitu ada 2 siswa, kelompok sedang dengan kriteria 67,29 ≤ X < 77,49 yaitu ada 16 siswa, dan kelompok rendah dengan kriteria X < 67,29 yaitu ada 5 siswa. Sedangkan pada perhitungan hasil tes, kelompok tinggi dengan kriteria X ≥ 11,64 yaitu ada 9 siswa, kelompok sedang dengan kriteria 9,56 ≤ X < 11,64 yaitu ada 5 siswa, dan kelompok rendah dengan kriteria X < 9,56 yaitu ada 9 siswa. berdasarkan hasil wawancara, responden siswa yang memiliki proses berpikir kritis siswa motivasi tingkat tinggi lebih baik dalam menyelesaikan soal dibandingkan siswa yang memiliki proses berpikir kritis motivasi tingkat sedang dan rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an empirical didactic design designed to overcome didactic barriers experienced by students on beam volume material. Didactical design research is a design in this study that contains three stages of analysis, namely prospective analysis, metapedadidactic analysis, and retrospective analysis. 25 9th-grade junior high school students and one mathematics teacher were selected using purposive sampling techniques to become subjects. Observation, tests using diagnostic tests, and interviews are techniques in data collection. The collected data is analysed and interpreted qualitatively using interpretive and critical paradigms. The results of this study show that through three stages of analysis, an empirical didactic design was obtained that contains four didactic situations: action situations, formulation situations, validation situations, and institutionalisation situations. However, the limitations of presenting problems in institutionalisation situations have an impact on the occurrence of other learning barriers, namely epistemological concepts. Thus, this limitation becomes an improvement material in empirical didactic design.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning video media using the Canva application on SPLTV class X SMA Wisuda Pontianak material that is valid, practical and effective. This research is research that refers to a 4D design model that was modified into 3D, namely the definition stage, the design stage and the development stage. The instruments used are validation sheets, questionnaires and posttests. Questionnaires are used for expert validation, teacher and student responses, and posttest questions. This research produced learning videos with a validity level of 84.24% with very valid criteria, teacher and student response questionnaire results with an average of 92.12% were very practical, and student posttest results were 80% with effective criteria

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there are differences in mathematical problem solving abilities through the contextual learning model assisted by Quizizz in terms of visual spatial intelligence. This research is a quantitative research type of True Experimental Design. The research subjects were class VIII students at SMPN 17 Pontianak with a total of 60 students. The samples in this study were class VIII B as an experimental class using the contextual learning model assisted by Quizzizz and class VIII A as a control class using a conventional learning model. Data was obtained from the mathematical problem-solving ability test given to students. The data analysis technique used a two-way anava test and an advanced test using a double comparison test with the Sheffe method. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the research data, the results were obtained that the ability to solve mathematical problems using the quizizz-assisted contextual learning model is better than the ability to solve mathematical problems using the conventional learning model. There is an interaction between the quizizz-assisted contextual learning model and students' spatial visual intelligence on mathematical problem solving

Abstract

Students abilities differ when given questions that require representing aspects to appear. This is because the ability of mathematical representation is influenced by the characteristics of the student way of thinking. The purpose of this study was to analyze the mathematical representation abilities of students in graph theory in terms of the characteristics of the way of thinking. This type of research uses qualitative research in the form of case studies. The research subjects were class B students in the sixth semester of IKIP PGRI Pontianak with one student taken for ways of thinking in Concrete Sequences (SK), Abstract Sequences (SA), Concrete Random (AK), and Abstract Random (AA) with selected using purposive sampling technique. The main instruments in this research is the researcher and the necessary supporting instruments include test questions on mathematical representation abilities, questionnaires on the characteristics of ways of thinking, and interview guidelines. To test the validity of the data used triangulation techniques. Data analysis was performed by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the study showed that students with the SK and Sa way of thinking had fulfilled all the indicators of mathematical representation abilities, namely verbal, visual, and symbolic representations because their way of thinking was detailed and mastered the concept, while students with the AA and AK thinking only met the indicators of verbal representation due to the unstructured way of thinking and not mastering the concept.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an e-module based on problem based learning to facilitate students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) with the material taken being trigonometric comparisons. The research design used in this study was the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects in this study were the development subjects and the product trial subjects. The development subjects were validators and the product trial subjects were students of class X Phase E1 of SMA Negeri 1 Belitang. The results of this study were: (1) the developed e-module obtained very valid criteria with media validity reaching 92% and material validity reaching 93%, (2) the e-module met practical criteria based on the results of student and teacher response questionnaires with practicality reaching 89.5%, (3) the effectiveness of the e-module was seen based on the results of the student posttest with an index percentage of 73.1% with effective criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by animated videos in improving learning outcomes and learning motivation of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak City on the material of Two Variable Linear Equation Systems (SPLDV). This study was conducted using a classroom action approach. The subjects in this study were all students in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak City totalling 30 students. Data were obtained through students test results and questionnaires at the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II stages. The results showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes and student learning motivation on SPLDV material through the PBL learning model assisted by animated video media. This is evident from the average score obtained by students in the pre-cycle was 61.5 with 43.33% completeness, then in cycle I the score rose to 76.5 with 76.67% completeness and in cycle II the average student score increased to 84.17 with 90% completeness. Apart from that, student learning motivation in the pre-cycle category was 6.25% low, 56.25% medium, and 37.5% high, then in the first cycle it was 25% medium, 18.75% high and 56.25% very high, and in the second cycle it increased to 12.5% high and 87.5% very high. These results can be seen from cycle to cycle experiencing an increase in learning outcomes and motivation and have been able to spur students to be more active especially in learning on SPLDV material with PBL learning assisted by animated video media.Peningkatan Hasil dan Motivasi Belajar Siswa SMP Melalui Model Problem Based Learning Berbantuan Media Video Animasi Pada Materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua VariabelABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan video animasi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Kota Pontianak pada materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 19 Kota Pontianak yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui hasil tes dan angket siswa pada tahap pra siklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi SPLDV melalui model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media video animasi. Hal ini terbukti dari nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada pra siklus adalah 61,5 dengan ketuntasan 43,33% kemudian pada siklus I nilainya naik menjadi 76,5 dengan ketuntasan 76,67% dan pada siklus II rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat menjadi 84,17 dengan ketuntasan 90%. Selain itu, motivasi belajar siswa pada pra siklus dengan kategori rendah sebanyak 6,25%, sedang sebanyak 56,25%, dan tinggi sebanyak 37,5% kemudian pada siklus I dengan kategori sedang 25%, tinggi 18,75%, dan sangat tinggi 56,25% dan siklus II meningkat menjadi kategori tinggi 12,5% dan sangat tinggi 87,5%. Hasil tersebut dapat dilihat dari siklus ke siklus mengalami peningkatan hasil dan motivasi belajar dan telah mampu memacu para siswa untuk lebih aktif khususnya dalam pembelajaran pada materi SPLDV dengan pembelajaran PBL berbantuan media video animasi.Kata Kunci :hasil belajar; motivasi belajar; media video pembelajaran; SPLDV

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita kontekstual. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan instrumen berupa soal cerita dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari lima siswa kelas III SD Negeri 2 Tegal Yoso yang dipilih secara purposive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mampu menjawab soal secara numerik, tetapi mengalami kesulitan dalam menjelaskan proses identifikasi masalah, memilih strategi penyelesaian yang tepat, serta menginterpretasikan hasil jawaban mereka. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi di antaranya adalah keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap bahasa soal, rendahnya penguasaan konsep waktu dan pecahan, serta minimnya pengalaman dalam menghubungkan soal dengan konteks nyata. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pembelajaran kontekstual dan latihan soal berbasis kehidupan sehari-hari untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematika siswa sejak dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan math comic berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam materi bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak yang mencapai tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model rancangan pengembangan ADDIE, yang terdiri atas lima tahapan pokok, yaitu Analisys (analisis), Design (perencanaan), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (penerapan), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak sebanyak 31 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi, angket, dan soal posttest. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang pertama adalah validasi math comic berbasis CTL yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata dari ketiga ahli sebesar 83,23% dalam kriteria valid. Yang kedua adalah nilai kepraktisan, dilihat dari nilai angket yang diisi guru dan seluruh siswa yang diakumulasikan sehingga diperoleh persentase sebesar 83,06% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Selanjutnya keefektifan, dilihat dari hasil pengerjaan posttest siswa dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 25 siswa dari 31 siswa dengan persentase 80,64% dimana kriterianya efektif. Demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan math comic berbasis Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dalam materi bilangan bulat di kelas VII SMP 13 Negeri Pontianak tergolong valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan.
