Abstract

Pasar media digital telah banyak menyasar anak usia dini sebagai terdampak. Pemandangan dimana anak cenderung lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan media digital menjadi hal lumrah. Penelitian terdahulu banyak memaparkan dampak negatif yang dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan anak usia dini jika akses terhadap media digital dilakukan tanpa pendampingan orang tua. Pendampingan dan pendidikan yang dilakukan orang tua dapat dikemas menjadi program yang disengaja dengan memanfaatkan media digital yang ada di rumah untuk digunakan bersama dengan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya pendampingan yang dilakukan orang tua terhadap anak usia dini dalam penggunaan media digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi kasus terhadap orang tua yang memiliki anak usia dini 5-6 tahun di kabupaten Garut, dimana pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara untuk mencari tahu secara mendalam terkait upaya pendampingan orang tua terhadap anak usia dini dalam penggunakan media digital. Temuan dari penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa pendampingan dalam menggunakan media digital dilakukan dengan memilah dan memilih konten yang tepat, orang tua meluangkan waktu untuk melakukan pengawasan, menerapkan aturan yang konsisten dan melakukan  upaya-upaya kreatif dalam menggunakan media digital. Beberapa kendala muncul selama pendampingan seperti anak terlalu lama mengakses media digital serta kesibukan orang tua sehingga menghambat optimalisasi pendampingan.

Abstract

Kemampuan anak usia dini bukan hanya calistung yang bisa baca dan berhitung saja, tetapi bagaimana anak dapat memaknai simbol huruf dan angka sebagai bagian dari literasi numerasi yang menjadi kemampuan anak akan simbol huruf dan angka dapat ia pergunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya terus terkuatkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan Pre-eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa project based learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap kemampuan Literasi numerasi anak usia dini. Karena setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran project based learning dapat menunjukan kemampuan dasar untuk memecahkan masalah matematis dalam konteks nyata, meningkatkan daya pikir kritis, dan membangun pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap konsep numerasi, kreatif dan kolaboratif. Anak dapat mengenali dan melihat hubungan antar pola, simbol dan data.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in the implementation of mobile seamless learning for early childhood reading learning. The use of technology as a learning medium for early childhood is a necessity in order to obtain benefits in the form of more optimal learning outcomes, but on the other hand, efforts are also needed to minimize the negative impact of the use of technology. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to obtain a comprehensive picture of the role of teachers in the application of mobile seamless learning for early childhood reading learning in early childhood learning in early childhood education institutions. The research participants were 25 PAUD/TK teachers in the Greater Jakarta area, aged 23-54 years and had been PAUD/TK teachers for 2-14 years. The results of the study showed that all participants stated the importance of mobile seamless learning in early childhood reading learning. The implementation of mobile seamless learning has been implemented in PAUD Institutions even though it has not been implemented consistently due to various factors such as limited data packages, signals that are not always good and limitations of supporting devices (infocus). The applications used include Canva, Youtube, Let's Read Digital Books, Paud Pedia, Arloopa and Quiver. All participants expressed the high enthusiasm of students when teachers implemented mobile seamless learning. The role of teachers in the implementation of mobile seamless learning for early childhood reading learning includes as teachers, directors, learning resources, facilitators, managers, role models (role models), supervisors, motivators and evaluators. The results of this study also show the urgency of providing a system that includes facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of mobile seamless learning which needs to be accompanied by an increase in the digital competence of PAUD teachers related to the effectiveness of the use of digital media in the learning process.

Abstract

Nilai religiusitas berperan penting dalam pengasuhan anak usia dini, membentuk karakter, kedisiplinan, dan kesadaran spiritual. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan nilai religiusitas di Kampung Mahmud serta tantangan yang dihadapi orang tua. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui teknik wawancara kepada tiga orang tua dengan tingkat penerapan religiusitas berbeda. Pemilihan tiga partisipan ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh variasi dalam pola pengasuhan dan memahami dampaknya terhadap anak secara lebih mendalam. Selain itu, jumlah partisipan yang terbatas memungkinkan analisis kualitatif yang lebih fokus dan komprehensif. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa orang tua yang konsisten menanamkan nilai religiusitas melihat perkembangan positif pada anak, sementara yang kurang konsisten menghadapi kesulitan dalam membentuk kebiasaan religius. Tantangan utama meliputi pengaruh teknologi, keterbatasan waktu, dan kurangnya pemahaman agama. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa keterlibatan aktif orang tua dan dukungan komunitas diperlukan untuk mempertahankan nilai religiusitas dalam pengasuhan anak usia dini.

Abstract

The ability of early childhood education (PAUD) teachers to utilize information and communication technology (ICT) is crucial for maximizing the learning process in today’s digital era. However, there are still obstacles and challenges faced by teachers in effectively integrating ICT into teaching and learning activities. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the level of PAUD teachers’ competence in using ICT and to identify various barriers that hinder its implementation. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach with research subjects consisting of 6 school principals and 12 PAUD teachers. Data collection techniques included documentation studies in the form of surveys, questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis used interactive techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results show that all aspects of ICT utilization in early childhood education namely ICT understanding (80.55%), curriculum and assessment (83.33%), pedagogy (77.77%), ICT use (80.55%), organizational and administrative functions (87.03%), and teacher professional development (83.33%) fall into the good category and demonstrate optimal implementation. It can be concluded that PAUD teachers have adequate competence in utilizing information and communication technology to support the learning process. This implies that enhancing PAUD teachers’ ICT skills is essential to support innovative and relevant learning in line with current developments.

Abstract

This paper discusses the implementation of the concept of Tarbiyah in the formation of early childhood character at TAUD SaQu Arinal Haq Bandung. The background of this research departs from the phenomenon of declining values of politeness, empathy, and increasing aggressive behavior in society, so that educational intervention is needed during the golden age (0–6 years) as a crucial phase of character formation. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the subjects of school principals, teachers, and students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of Tarbiyah is carried out through routine activities such as greetings and prayers, daily dhikr, congregational Dhuha prayers, the use of thayyibah sentences, recitations of the Qur'an with the At-Tibyan method, as well as learning aqidah and fiqh. This practice is effective in fostering discipline, responsibility, empathy, and love for the Qur'an and Islamic teachings. Thus, Tarbiyah has proven to play a fundamental role in shaping children's character and personality holistically through habituation of Islamic behavior and exemplary in a religious and fun learning environment

Abstract

Basic numeracy education is crucial for the development of early childhood as a foundation for logical and analytical thinking. This study aims to develop an educational game application based on the Role-Playing Game (RPG) model, designed to effectively enhance basic numeracy comprehension in early childhood. Aligned with the principles of the Independent Curriculum, which emphasizes child-centered, exploratory, and enjoyable learning, the application was developed using the ADDIE model, structured across five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results indicate that this RPG game application, which includes narrative elements, interactive characters, and tiered challenges, significantly improves children's numeracy skills, such as number recognition and basic addition. Furthermore, the application enhances learning motivation through positive feedback features. Integrating local cultural elements in the application’s design further enhances its relevance, supporting children in learning within a context that reflects their real-life environment. Consequently, this application is expected to serve as an innovative alternative for effective, interactive numeracy education aligned with the principles of the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi strategi pembelajaran kosakata bahasa Sunda pada anak usia dini melalui aplikasi Let’s Read. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan observasi partisipatif dan wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap seorang guru dan sepuluh anak usia 4–6 tahun di Cianjur, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi enam strategi pedagogis: pemodelan, definisi, ekspansi, contoh kontekstual, pertanyaan terbuka, dan perintah direktif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa guru mengelompokkan kosakata berdasarkan tiga tingkatan kompleksitas (Tier 1–3), termasuk kosakata bermuatan budaya seperti peyeum. Efektivitas penggunaan teknologi digital bergantung pada mediasi guru sebagai cultural broker yang menghubungkan bahasa dengan nilai budaya lokal. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa pelestarian bahasa daerah memerlukan pendekatan holistik yang mengintegrasikan kematangan pedagogis, sensitivitas budaya serta teknologi edukatif. Teknologi berperan sebagai alat bantu pemberdayaan guru, bukan pengganti perannya dalam pelestarian bahasa.
