THE IMAGE OF GOD ACCORDING TO THOMAS AQUINAS Juwinner Dedy Kasingku

In God's likeness and image, the man was made. But the likeness of God seemed to diminish once man committed sin. Man, nevertheless, continues to bear God's likeness and image. One of the key leaders in church history, Thomas Aquinas, tries to clarify what this likeness and image of God signify. The Bible offers a perspective on this aspect of God's likeness and image. The Seventh-Day Adventist doctrines offer an explanation for it that is consistent with the biblical perspective. In the end, it was discovered that while Adventist teachings are in line with the Bible and hold that the image of God can be found in a broader view, namely in the physical, mental, and spiritual, as opposed to Thomas Aquinas's argument that it can only be found in human intellect and understanding. This article aims to find a good solution for children whose families are not doing well, which can affect their social life, which is what is known as a "broken home." There are so many broken-home children who are in bad company or can't be controlled by their parents. And many people still think that children from broken homes are naughty and cannot be managed, so in the end, they will only become community trash. There are so many broken-home children who use this excuse to seek bad associations. Therefore, it is necessary to encourage and motivate both parents so that children do not experience this because of separation from their parents. This article was carried out using data collection techniques, namely related journals, and articles. The findings of this article take the form of encouragement and motivation that each father and mother provide in carrying out their roles as parents. Keywords: broken-home, children, parents

The purpose of this study is to explain that law is the foundation that keeps humans on the right path. With the law, humans can live in peace and order. With the existence of law, humans can also see the true character of God, which is love. Grace is a gift God gives to humans that is not worthy for humans to receive. Jesus Christ is proof of that grace. The purpose of this study is to explain to the readers the differences between the two laws, namely the ceremonial law and the Torah law, because many people think that the law is no longer valid. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature study approach where researchers use various literature to compare one quote with another to support this research. The results of this study state that God has never abolished His commands forever. He is a God who is consistent and never changes. If we see one verse as if it contradicts another, we haven't studied the Bible seriously. We should not just conclude from one verse. We have to compare one poem with another poem. Let the Bible explain itself.

Nowadays, the problem that often occurs, including in the religious environment, is a problem related to young people because young people are the biggest target of Satan, so he uses various ways to tempt every young person so that they fall into an unfavorable association so that in the end young people are far from God. That is why it is important for every person to believe that they can protect young people so that they can stay in the right association. This is a qualitative study using library research method. Researchers examine sources by comparing one statements with another taken from articles, books, or information on the internet. In this study, there are several ways to ensure that young people remain in the right associations, among them: understanding correctly what association is, imitating the good associations of several figures in the Bible, and selecting good friends in relationships.

This article is a literature study that describes the concept of jealousy towards family, especially spouses and jealousy of God which is written in the Book of Exodus. To be understood, the author presents various information through related sources related to the topic and then explained descriptively. From the research that has been made, the concept of jealousy of a partner is different from the concept of jealousy of God based on general and Biblical views. Human jealousy can make it possible to sin and have some form of jealousy, whether at a young or old age, you will not be separated from this type of emotion. God's law helps human to reflect and breaking the law means not loving God. The Creator of mankind wanted His creation not to turn its back on the idols of the world. He cares about human; therefore, the law helps human not to sin, in this case helping human to obey so that there is no jealousy that will result in evil deeds against others and sins against God.

The way a person dresses reflects their own self-image. At this time, there are numerous Christians who do not understand the concept of Christian clothing that should be worn when going to church. Therefore, this research was conducted so that we could see what kind of clothing is appropriate in the church. This research uses qualitative research methods along with descriptive methods and library research. We discovered that clothing that is polite, clean, polite, and simple can reflect God's image in every Christian because God looks at our hearts, not the glamor or style of the clothes we wear, by examining various sources of information and perceptions. This is very important to research so that many people understand it better and don't blame it too much.

This research is qualitative, with a literature study approach, on the important role of education through nutritious food in raising public awareness of body and mind health. The food that is prepared or served at the table should be nutritious and balanced. However, the food that is prepared or served at the table should be nutritious and balanced. Unfortunately, human diseases are created by the food we eat every day, whether we realize it or not. Interestingly, the result of this study shows that the health of the body is closely related to the food consumed. Likewise with the form of the human mindset. Therefore, it is critical to pay attention to the proper type of food, method, and time to eat in order to have a positive effect on the human body and mind. Next, the Spirit of Prophecy provides insight into the impact of nutritious food on the health of the human body and mind, with the same outcome. This research also discovered that there are risks to eating nutritious foods in excess. As a result, we must exercise caution when selecting sustenance for our bodies, as our bodies are God's temple.

This research is qualitative, with the aim of being able to build a healthy young generation by looking at the word and science about healthy food. From the beginning of creation until now, God has created a variety of healthy foods for us to enjoy together. With the view of science, we can more easily judge what food is proper and nutritious for our bodies. God provided his people with nutritious food in the Old Testament from the beginning of creation until the flood. By following the views of science, we are also more convinced of which foods we should eat properly. With these foods, we can have a healthy and strong body. The Bible's opinion about healthy food also agrees with the scientific view about the foods that are good for our bodies. Our body is a holy temple of God. For that reason, it is important to protect our bodies from foods that damage them. To be able to get a healthy body, we must regulate eating patterns that are not excessive so that these foods can nourish our bodies and not damage them.

Young people are the successors of the church and nation and will be the future inheritors of its mission, embodying the church and nation’s hopeful future. However, many tendencies among young individuals often deviate from fundamental principles. Hence, it is crucial for young people to uphold moral principles and counteract immoral traits and behaviors. By doing so, young Christians can faithfully abide by every commandment of God. In this study, the author utilizes a qualitative research approach, specifically a literature review, to explore the significance of discipline in Christian education, drawing insights from the life of Samson, a prominent figure in the Bible. Young people must embrace discipline as they uphold principles and regulations, while also fostering a closer relationship with God. Furthermore, parents bear a significant responsibility in shaping the character of young individuals.

Each parent in the family has their own way of raising children. Parenting from people who know plays an important role, especially in helping form a child's abilities. The purpose of this research is to make readers understand more, especially the role of parents, parenting, and successful leadership. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a combination of library research approaches coupled with various sources from the internet. This study discusses the role of parents, parenting styles, types of parenting styles, leaders and leadership, leadership styles, leadership success, and the relationship between success in leadership and parenting styles. The three types of parenting are authoritarian, democratic, and permissive. The leadership style is autocratic, laissez-faire, and democratic. In a variety of parenting styles, not all of them can give good results in shaping children's attitudes and abilities. Likewise, with leadership styles, not all can show success in leading. The results of this study indicate that one's success in leading cannot be separated from the role of parents regarding the ability of children resulting from the application of parenting patterns. Everything that is good and successful comes from democratic parenting and democratic leadership styles. The relationship can be seen in several attitudes, namely good communication, cooperation, making decisions, and being responsible
